Challenge: Overlord x Campion
What if Ainz were sent to the world of Campione?
Ainz for whatever reason instead of going to the new world were sent to the world of Campione.
Due to his Undead appearance and the fact low-level magic doesn't work on him, the human mistake him as one of the God, so Ainz will live for a while being chased by some Campione. In which he always runs using teleportation. It was only later that one day he run into some random God and defeated them in order to test whether or not he can get Campione's power after killing one. And yes, he got them along with a new vessel that make him look human and able to blend among the human. He becomes Campione because despite his appearance his soul itself modeled after humans.
However, the disappearances of a God and Ainz make the magic association think a new Campionehad been born and later Ainz recruited by them. You can do as you like after that. Will Ainz going around killing God to get more power or even just try to live a daily lives.
You can also bring Nazarick into the story later, but the NPC unable to become Campione because they're not human in both body and soul.
Ainz new ability list as a Campione will be:
- Immunity to Turn Undead: he can no longer be count as Undead
- Resistance/Immunity to Holy Based Damage: It will be weird for God Slayer to be weak to Holy Energy
- Bludgeon and Fire no longer weakness: He might not gain extra immunity or resistance but this is no longer weakness mainly because he has flesh.
- Coexistent of Ainz immunity skill: Ainz still has all his damage based immunity despite having a human body
- Able to Eat and Drink: He can now eat and drink and even gain boost from them, also he can drink Potion he previously only bring for his summon.
- Magic Resistance of Campione: He is immune to all Magic of Campione World, and with concentration, he can dispel all Magic at the surrrounding. Exception, will be if the magic enter inside his body but Ainz already have magic immunity III so unless he deactivates his skill no magic can affect him.
- Acute Magic Senses: Able to sense Magic or any Supernatural activities without the need of skill or spell
- Ridiculous Magic Reserve: Ainz Magic Reserve already dumb high but added to Campione modification he has a ridiculous amount of reserve. He also quick to recover them doesn't need long rest to refill his reserve.
- Able to learn all languages: This is the ability of all Campione
- Able to improve his Status with training: Instead of typical level up he will improve himself through training.
- Able to learn the local human technique: All the magic techniques of this world Ainz can learn it at an accelerated rate. God never make use of it but Campione has accelerated learning ability especially toward the supernatural.
- Authority: Obviously this is something that he will get and you can choose whatever power to give to Ainz
However it, not all good he also gains Weakness:
- Need to eat: In order to maintain his flesh like humans and Campione he needs to eat.
- Fatigue: It might take a ridiculously long time before he tired out but he can still feel fatigued and need to rest. He doesn't need to sleep because of his undead skill but he needs to rest his body.
- Unable to spend or obtain EXP: Due to the new body and condition of this world, Ainz unable to obtain EXP at all. He is also unable to spend his exp meaning he can't use Wish without his Ring and he can't use his World Item. You can make a Loophole on this later by using life energy or whatever but at least Ainz unable to access his World Item in the first few chapters.
This is more or less what he capable of done as Campione or at least what I want it to be.
