It was quiet at the table no one was taking it was awkward and Ariella did not like awkward it made her uncomfortable and she hated being uncomfortable and she also hated the way Klaus was looking at Natasha it was weird but she knew he liked her but she didn't know every time Klaus liked someone they always betrayed him or used his love for them against him, or leave him for someone else when he's the better option all thing vampire blondie did, they had already gotten their drinks and since then it's been quiet no ones has spoken.

"If you 2 are going to fuck please don't do it at the table we're in public have decency," Ariella said to Klaus and Natasha she saw Steve turn bright red, Klaus smirk, Pepper looked baffled, Bruce chocked on his drink along with Thor and Tony, Clint was laughing and so was Hayley, Elijah looked outraged.

"Ariella! How dare you speak of indecent things to Ms. Natasha that way. Apologize now!" Elijah said causing Ariella to roll her eyes, Elijah could be dramatic at times.

"There's no need for her to apologies," Natasha said

"See, father even she's admitting that she and Klaus are giving each other the fuck me eyes," Ariella said and this time Klaus nor Clint could hold back their laugh, Steve turned into a deeper shade of red (if that was even possible), Bruce looked uncomfortable and so did Pepper. Elijah held his hand out and Ariella passed her phone over but he outstretched his hand.

"I gave you my phone," Ariella said confused about what Elijah was waiting for.

"The cards."

"Please Elijah everything but the cards." Ariella pleaded and Klaus was finding the scene in front of him and so were the others.

"Now, Ariella,"

"I'm sorry, please, not the cards, please Elijah with a cherry on top," Ariella said giving Elijah the puppy dog eyes and everyone had to agree if they were given those puppy dog eyes they would give in.

"Ariella don't make me repeat myself." Elijah said in a dangerously low tone that sent shivers down everyone's body," You better give him the cards or he'll cancel tomorrow and we'll go without you." Klaus said tomorrow they were planning on just eating sweets and wasting the day in their favorite places in New York.

Huffing Ariella opened her handbag and gave Elijah her credit cards; she had a total of 11 credit cards each had different providers, 2 from Klaus, her mother, Nadia, Marcel, Kol, Rebekah, Elijah, Stefan, Damon and Elijah provided another card of hers.

"Someone's spoiled," Clint said he wished he lived like this girl growing up ll credit card, nice clothes, nice parents, trips around the world.

"No, they won't let me get a dog." Ariella pouted she has been begging for a pet for years now and she always got no for a response.

"Why would you want to have a dog when you have Jackson and his people," Klaus said, earning him death glares from Hayley and Elijah.

"Is Jackson your son?" Bruce asked and no one has really heard him say anything except for his order.

"No, he's a family friend," Hayley respond

"Whatever you wish to define a friend as," Klaus said, causing Ariella to chuckle.

"So you're the bad influence," Pepper said she knew Elijah was old fashion and he would raise his kids with respect, manners, and decency not that Ariella lacked any she was graceful, she sat up with her back straight and legs crossed and all her moves were graceful for a 10-year-old.

"I have to be Elijah boring."

"You mean he's humorless and lives on the dark side," Ariella said

"I'm so sorry about these 2, Klaus is always acting like a child and Ariella acts like she's 2," Hayley said

"Now that is out the way what do you all do for a living?" Ariella said with a general curiosity about how these people met they all seemed different and had different personalities.

"You don't know who we are tiny mortal?" Thor asked and he wasn't the only one who looked like their pride was hurt by Ariella's question.

"I'm I suppose to?"

"Come on you don't even know who Steve is?" Clint asked and Ariella shook her head.

"I'm the CEO of Si," Pepper said leaving Ariella confused. Did these people not have normal jobs she knew what a CEO was just not what company she was running.

"SI?" Ariella asked causing Tony to scoff

"Stark Industries," Pepper answered and now Ariella knew it was the same company they visited yesterday and that Tony owned.

"Have you been living under a rock?" Clint said how did this girl never hear about them, or Steve let alone SI, she must've been kept hidden somewhere because this wasn't normal.

"No, I just don't pay attention to the media," Ariella answered and this was true. She didn't like to spend her time reading or exploring wherever she was currently living at. Just then the waitress came over with everyone's meals on a cart since it was a lot of them and a lot of food. They were silent as the waiter gave them each their food.

"So what do you do for a living?" Tony asked Elijah he was interested in what these people did after all they did take care of his daughter and they seemed like they lived well.

"Well, Niklaus paints, I run the family business," Elijah answered even Ariella didn't know how they acquired all the money but she believed it was because they were alive for a thousand years and they just collected it.

"And what is the family business?" Clint asked

"We sell coffins," Klaus answered

"So you paint?" Natasha asked quirking a brow at Klaus in question.

"Yes, I'm a skilled painter," Klaus answered giving Natasha his signature smirk.

"He's skilled in other things too," Ariella said as she popped a fry in her mouth which caused Elijah to glare at her and Steve to choke on his drink and the rest of the table expert Hayley, Klaus, and Natasha to look uncomfortable.

"Ariella, enough," Elijah says

"I'm just trying to get him a wife, you should be thanking me you can't tame him forever," Ariella said

"I don't need your help getting a wife, I'm very capable of doing that on my own," Klaus said as she watched Klaus steal her fries.

"Yeah, and what happened with blondie and my mother you attract them but you can't seem to keep them," Ariella said as she twirled some pasta on her fork and she heard Klaus growl at her making her smirk.

"Arella, Niklaus stop this behavior at once," Elijah said as he scolded the 2 he couldn't take them anywhere and he's glad Rebekah didn't join. She would've been even worse than Ariella. Those 2 together are a nightmare.

"Fine but he and you know I'm right."

"Kid, what's your favorite subject in school?" Steve asked he really wanted to get the conversation off of what Ariella was talking about; she was too young to know any of that.

"Oh, I'm no longer in school I finished," Ariella said as she took another of her pasta," Oh, so you're on break." Steve said," No I mean I finished went to college and finished." Ariella said as if it was no big deal that a 10-year-old graduated from college.

"I thought you were in your proper grade," Klaus said in a dangerously low tone telling Ariella she was in trouble.

"I never was Klaus. I was far too smart and she knew that I've never been in my correct grade. I always advance. I finished college a month ago and got my diploma," Ariella said as she avoided contact with Klaus. She knew him, Elijah's and Hayley's eyes were boring into her soul.

"And you didn't bother to tell me?" Klaus screamed causing others to look their way.

"I've tried to tell you but you never listened."

"And why didn't you tell us you graduated?" Hayley asked she wasn't mad at Ariella, just sad and disappointed that she didn't tell her an important part of her life had passed. She saw Ariella as her own daughter even if she wasn't.

"You were all busy." Ariella says in a whisper as she looks at her hands not wanting to meet anyone's eyes.

The rest of the occupants at the table watch everything unfold Tony was in\vested in this whole family drama as well as Clint, Steve, Bruce and Pepper felt like they were imposing on a private family matter, Natasha was listening to everything that was being said and fling it for later, Thor was enjoying the good midgardian food paying little attention to what was going on with the midgardians.

"So that gives you the right to lie to me!" Klaus said screaming this time the people didn't ignore him and started longer.

"You ignored me for months and before that, you were always busy," Ariella said now getting mad at Klaus she never wants to lie to him she is always honest with him but she didn't lie about trying to tell him she was far ahead of kids her own age. Hayley felt guilty because they did ignore Ariella after Hope 'died' and she didn't want to see or talk to Ariella and when she did every conversation was short and never lasted as it used to and she knew Ariella was sad that Rebekah didn't call her as she used to.

"She died," Klaus said and they all heard his voice shake as he said it and tears were filling his eyes but they hadn't fallen, and his grip on his fork was causing it to bend.

"I get that she died but I was still here and you all ignored me for months. You didn't even realize I was gone for 2 weeks." Ariella said and this time she met Klau's eyes and tears ran down her cheeks she didn't want to sound bratty because she too holed herself in her room after she found out Hope died but that didn't mean she stopped caring about them it destroyed her to watch Klaus drink himself to sleep, Elijah barely hung around the compound he only chase to check up on Klaus, Hayley was always at the bayou and she understood that it must have hurt her to see Ariella alive and not her daughter.

Klaus laughed," You're just like your mother always has to be the center of attention don't you, always want what you can't have. Maybe you'll grow up to be like her, a killer, cold-hearted, manipulative bitch who will always be alone because no one wants her." Klaus spat and Ariella looked at him the whole table looked at him shocked by what he just said and Ariella not wanting to take the pain anymore ran out of the restaurant.

"What the hell is wrong with you!" Hayley said but Klaus didn't respond because his chest felt tight he felt guilty he had never treated Ariella like that before and he knew he overreacted but he was done being lied to and betrayed.

"I have to fix this." Klaus said not to anyone in particular as he gets up but Elijah stops him," No leave her we've done enough. I'm so sorry about what has happened here this evening Pepper, I wish to see you another time." Elijah said as they all got up and Elijah put money on the table before the 3 left.

"I'm I the only one who's confused?" Bruce asked as he got nods of yes and Clint saw this as an opportunity to steal Ariella's food along with Thor and Natasha smacked his arm," What, it's not like she's going to eat it anyway." Clint said as he rubbed his arm and surprising them all Ariella approached the table red-eyed and still crying.

"Ariella are you okay?" Steve asked but Ariella brushed him off as she grabbed her purse which she left behind and was about to turn and leave but Pepper grabbed her arm," Ariella let us take you home it's not safe for you to be wandering around alone." Pepper said she wanted to make sure Ariella was okay," No, thank you Miss Potts but thanks for the offer." Ariella said, trying to take her arm out of Pepper's grip but she held on tight," Kid, seriously let us take you home." Tony said.

"I can take myself home. I don't need your help," Ariella said as she yanked her arm from Peppers grip and left the restaurant once again and hopped into a taxi and told him where to go she cried silently through the ride. Is that what Klaus really thought about her? That she would grow up to be a killer? Ariella always had a feeling Klaus only kept her to use as a pond against her mother she didn't know but she was foolish to think the Mikalesons ever cared about her.

The Mikaelsons got home to find that Ariella had not gone back to the apartment and that all her stuff was still there, Elijah also got a text from Pepper saying Ariella went back to the restaurant and he told Hayley and Klaus that she should be home soon but then they waited an hour and she still didn't return, then they waited hours and there was no sign of Ariella and they were getting worried Klaus was getting anxious and he felt guilty for what he told Ariella, Hayley was worried Ariella always left to get air after a fight with one of them but she always came back but not this time Klaus really got to her.

Ariella didn't go back to Klaus's apartment. She went back to the apartment her mother had in New York and she went through her mother's clothes and dressed in a shirt, shorts, and hoodie that her mother owned it still smelled like. Ariella wanted her mother she wanted her mother to be there sleeping beside her keeping her coles she wanted to turn back time and never meet Klaus, she wanted to save her mom, she wanted to once be good enough for someone to love, good enough for her mother, good enough to make her stay but she wasn't good enough for anyone and she didn't know why.
