It took a day or two for Mayday and Zuke to cool off and get past what happened with DK West, but soon, they were finally ready to attack the next artist working with NSR. And as it turned out, Vicktoriya wasn't kidding.

"So Visha was serious Kliff? This group, 1010… they're all robots?" Ethox asked.

"As serious as she can be." Kliff replied.

"Man, this place really takes the concept of boy bands way too seriously." Kazuma said. "I mean, I know it's always the same thing, a group of hot guys with no real differences, singing auto-tuned songs (no offense to your voice, DJ), but I didn't really think there'd be an actual boy band composed of real metal men."

"The strangest part about them is that their Manager, Neon J, acts like a commander in our military." Vicktoriya said. "So that means somewhat like you, Major."

"So wait, does that mean when we go fight these guys, Tanya will be in her element?" Aqua asked.

"Well I mean, Being X did send her into a world where a war was being fought, so it only makes sense we'd have to run into someone who treats the stage like a battlefield eventually." Ristarte said.

"Oh, please." Tanya scoffed. "These 1010 morons are performers playing pretend, nothing more. We'll show them how real soldiers act."

"So, where do we need to go to send these guys to the scrap heap, Kliff?" Kazuma asked.

"They're on a city tour right now, and I've found a certain path where your paths could meet. With some effort on your end, you'll be on their flying limousine in no time." Kliff said.

"Holy moly! We get to ride on their limo too? Sweet!" Mayday said.

"May." Zuke chided.

"What?" Mayday asked.

"Good luck, guys." Kliff said.

With the recent acquisition of Yinu's platinum record, they gained access to the Natura District along with extending the path to the NSR Tower. From Natura, they infiltrated the next district to it where 1010 was idolized, the Metro Division District which was all hi-tech and had a variety of stores, arcades, and restaurants.

"Wow! This place is like an amusement park!" Aqua marveled.

"Stay focused Aqua. According to Kliff, we have to get to Barraca Mansion." Ultra said. "From there, we can hop across the path that'll put us right on 1010's ride."

"Right. Then we can kick the cans off those five robotic dance troopers." Kazuma said.

"Man, you seem really fired up about this, Kazuma." Nemo pointed out.

"Well, yeah!" Kazuma said. "Those five probably have tons of people who like them, and all they have to do is sing and dance. Meanwhile, here I am, questing to defeat a Devil King, and I get barely any respect! I'm taking them down for all adventuring otaku like me everywhere!"

"He's probably just doing this because those bots are getting all the ladies." Koenig mentioned as Kazuma headed towards the mansion.

"Yeah, that sounds more in line with Kazuma." Seiya agreed.

"We should make sure he doesn't do anything stupid." Mirror Match said.

They then approached the mansion and proceeded to hijack 1010's tour. Getting to them wasn't easy. Compared to Sayu and Yinu's security, 1010's was more difficult due to the complex of it being on the road along with vehicles moving constantly as they soon reached the entrance that depicted 1010's album cover as they soon reached the boy band's limousine which was based on a battleship.

The group boarded the ship and headed up to the upper deck, where 1010 was. They soon found them jigging in place, their backs turned to the group.

(Cue: vs. 1010)

"Your flying circus ends now, 1010!" Mayday declared, but the five didn't respond. "Oi! We're crashing your party! Hello? 1010!"

At that, the robot with white spiked hair turned his head around to look at them.

"Look boys. Our one true love is finally here." he said as the others turned their attention to the group. "Let's be the ideal boyfriends and give her our utmost attention."

"What?" Mayday said.

"ATTEN-TION!" they harmonized together and saluted, Mayday doing it also for some reason.

"Wait, why are we saluting again…?" Mayday asked.

"We salute you for gracing us with your exotic beauty." Zemelu, the one with the red mohawk said.

"Your lustrous hair, your beautiful gaze, and even your lips, which form that radiant smile." the other three said in tandem.

"Our breaths are stifled." the white haired robot, Rin said.

"Stifled~,Stifled~, Stifled~, Stifled~!" the four others harmonized.

"I seriously cannot believe that this is happening." Rista said. "Robots are trying to sway a girl! I've heard better pick up lines from Seiya! Don't you agree, Mayday?" she asked, only to see Mayday was smitten. "Uh…. May?"

"Whaaaaaaaat? You're just jelly that all these pretty boys are fawning over me." Mayday said.

"Oh, for Harmony's sake, Mayday…" Mirror Match sighed.

"Did you all hear what they said about my lips though?" Mayday giggled with hearts in her eyes.

"What have you done to her, 1010?!" Zuke cried in shock.

"That's it!" Kazuma raged, drawing his sword and charging Rin. "For my popular phase!" he said charging in before Rin easily sidestepped him as he crashed behind him.

"Heh. Haters gonna hate." Rin said. "When we show up, we get the sexy mission done. You better put on your tactical thermal goggles, because…"

"We're gonna bring the he~at! Uh!"

Soldiers on the Battlefield of Love

"Woooo! So hot! So handsome!" Mayday squealed.

"May!" Zuke chided.

"Whaaaaaaaat?" Mayday asked.

"I think we'd better junk these guys before they start flirting with the girls in our group." Ultra said, bringing out Nihilego.

"Mark targets!" a command was issued from somewhere.

"Load and shoot~!" 1010 called, firing energy shots.

"Nihilego, use Mirror Coat on the middle shot!" Ultra said, the Ultra Beast forming a barrier that sent the laser back at Rin. It hit him dead on as he went down and exploded.

"Alright! One down, four to… AH!" Kazuma said as something flew over them as the music changed.

"Whoa! What was that?!" Zuke asked as some sort of Cylindrical flying machine with limbs hovered over the limo. Standing on it was another robot dressed in military garb representative of an Admiral with a sonar for a face. The group could only guess that this was 1010's manager, Neon J.

"Intruders!" he declared.

"Where?!" Mayday asked. "Oh." she deadpanned.

"So that's Neon J? Huh, he really does look like he was in the army." Nemo said.

"I'll give him credit, he does look the part." Tanya acknowledged.

"You mess with my troops, you mess with me! 1010 Never surrenders!" Neon J declared. "Deploy! Maintain operation party all night~!" he harmonized at the end as the slides the cylinder spun before stopping at Rin's face before popping out of the bottom was said robot.

"Baby, I'm electrifying!" Rin posed.

"Electrifying~!" the others harmonized as the battle resumed.

"What?! He can mass produce his own guys?!" Kazuma asked.

"There's no use, they'll keep coming!" Mayday said. "We're better off chilling with these handsome robots and checking out their crib and after that we can have a jacuzzi party with them and-"

"Okay, that flying factory has got to go!" Zuke said.

"Zuke's right!" Ethox said. "The band members aren't the real target, Neon J is! If we destroy the bots, he'll have to come back and spawn new ones."

"Okay, let's really make him work!" Legolia said.

1010 wasn't going to make destroying them easy. They were now fighting more effectively instead of dancing in place, and not only that, they had shields.

"Fire, 1-2-3-4!" Neon J ordered

"And jam~!" 1010 sang, changing their formation before firing, repeating the same command over again. Mayday and Zuke were able to parry 1010s shots back at them before their shields went back up, but that wasn't their only trick. They also took to the air and came back down in a slam attack, and when they posed for selfies for the fans at every stop, their shields regenerated.

"Crap, we can't seem to handle these guys effectively!" Ethox said. "Tanya, I think this is your department!"

"In that case, it's time I showed Neon J how real soldiers fight!" Tanya grinned as she pulled out her machine gun. "Soldiers, piercing spells!"

"Ma'am!" The lieutenants of the 203rd affirmed as they took aim at the members of 1010 and launched piercing spells at them, breaking through their shields and destroying them all together.

Neon J then came in to respawn all of them, but unfortunately he was in Legolia's sights.

"See what you think of this, Admiral Autotune!" she said, firing a bomb arrow right up into the bowels of the factory itself as it exploded inside.

"Fire in the battery aft! Mayday! Mayday!" Neon J called.

"What?!" Mayday asked before deadpanning. "Oh."

With that, Neon Js mobile factory detonated with a large explosion, Tanya and the 203rd shielding them. When the smoke cleared, the 1010 members were revealed to be okay… mostly. They lost their facial features and were heavily damaged, sparking and smoking.

"BaBy, i'M eLeCtRiFyInG!" Rin sparked.

"eLeCtRiFyInG~!" the others said.

"Ha!" Kazuma laughed in triumph. "We totally blew their looks off their faces! Literally!"

"Oh no! They're no longer handsome and sexy and gentlemanly and-" Mayday said.

"Good!" Zuke nodded.

The group continued to fight the damaged 1010 members. Even though they only got a few hits in, they didn't have to do much damage to them. When they posed for their selfie for the crowd, the recipients were so terrified that the negative exposure caused them to self-destruct, taking them all down at once.

"Is that it?" Aqua asked.

"Yeah, I think we're done here…" Zuke said before Neon J crashed back onto the limo with his factory drone. "Or not!"

"As long as the flag of rhythm stands, I will keep on fighting! Commencing All Kill Protocol! For NSR~!" Neon J harmonized at the end as the factory he was piloting sprouted arms and legs as it began dancing.

"He's got a mech!" Ultra exclaimed. "Why does he have a mech?!"

"I guess he wants to overcompensate?" Kazuma asked as the entire area turned red. "Still, he's serious about fighting to the end!"

Tanya then went in front. "I'll take care of him myself." she glared before she and Neon J faced each other down.

"Go get him, Tanya!" Ethox cheered.

"Stand down!" Neon J called as the machine began spinning around to land on one of the members heads.

"You expect me to surrender to you even though you work for NSR?" Tanya asked. "Some soldier you are."

The spinner then landed on the red head as the robot's hands became buzzsaws.

"Preemptive Strike!" Neon J said as the robot charged, Tanya evading it, as the spinner randomized to green. "Securing the perimeter!" he called, launching a bunch of explosions around the limo before the two of them launched into the air.

Before Neon J could select another attack, Tanya caught him off guard and blasted him with a bullet barrage from her machine gun, then blasted him and his factory back onto the limo with a Gospel artillery shot.

"Mayday, Zuke! Finish him off, now!" Tanya called

"I dunno if I can do this but OK!" Mayday said. "Red Light!" she said sadly, raising her left hand up into a fist.

"Green Light!" Zuke said, pounding down on it with his right hand as Mayday swapped out a canister on her guitar with a different one as it spun to show an angry face on it while she had a sad expression. Zuke was right behind her as he tapped his drumsticks in a three count.

"Bunka! Junka! Shakalaka-BAM!" The pair called out firing a blast at Neon J and 1010

"I'm sorry!" Mayday called as Neon J and his troops were engulfed in light as their platinum cover appeared before it changed to show Zuke riding a moped with Mayday sitting behind as she cried while the Fatebreakers rode in a car behind them as they sent 1010 and their title name, flying.

Their war is lost and their party ship has been sunk! RETIRED!

The resulting blast did indeed completely wreck 1010s limo, as everyone stood near it.

Tanya then landed in front of Neon J, who was leaning against his now destroyed factory drone with his members lying everywhere, completely scrapped. He was heavily damaged himself, but he was still alive.

The band manager coughed as he looked at Tanya. "You got me, soldier. *cough* *cough* You got me good! Go ahead, finish the job!" he said.

"...In any other situation, I would." Tanya said. "However… you aren't really worth the effort. You're not a real soldier, your heart isn't in it."

"Of course it was!" Neon J protested. "I remember what home was like. I dream of a day where the children can run innocently on the streets again, their eyes glittering with jubilation. So I made a promise to myself. A promise to bring peace back to my people. And until that day comes, I vow to serve this city with my utmost dedication. Because that is who I am. I am a soldier. Oh, what have I become? I have...changed so much."

"Hey, Tanya, I think this guy is actually legit." Seiya said.

"Yeah, I think so too. But I don't think he's under Being X's control. He's just stupidly loyal to Tatiana and everything NSR stands for." Tanya said, turning back to the cyborg. "I have to admit though, it was nice fighting a battle where I didn't have to think of that bastard for once."

"Don't worry about a thing, Neon. We just wanted your platinum record so we could move on to the next district. We'll spare you, and let you rebuild your factory." Ethox said.

"But, if you know what's good for you when you're back to full capacity…" Tanya glared at him. "Don't ever think of challenging us again."

Neon J could see the focus and gaze of a demon in tanyas eyes, even though she was just a child. He lowered his head.

"Very well. I shall hand over my district to you in exchange for the right to keep making my music." Neon J agreed. "If there is anything else I can give you all, please, name it."

"Well I don't mind a signed poster of 1010-." Mayday started.

"May." Zuke chided.

"Okay, okay, okay." Mayday said.

"Well, I guess that's that." Ethox said. "Goodbye, Neon J. And… we're sorry about the mess." he apologized as the group walked away.

"So, there's only one district to go before we reach NSR Tower, right?" Grantz asked.

"Yeah." Seiya said. "Still, I don't like loose ends being left out. We should take care of that dancing green guy once and for all."

"By that, I can only guess you mean DK West." Ethox said. "He's probably back for another round by now."

"Is it really worth it to go back to him? Zuke basically destroyed him in their last rap battle." Legolia mentioned.

"Actually… I think we should go back." Lily said. "We need to fix Zuke and West's relationship. Maybe now that Zuke has softened his brother up a bit, he'll listen to reason."

"It's not just West who needs to listen to reason." DJ said, eyeing Zuke. "Like I said, this is something they need to work on together."

Zuke sighed. "There's no way I'm convincing you guys to back out of this, right?"

"Nope. Until this gets fixed, we aren't progressing to the final district. This is an intervention, from one brother to another." Ethox said.
