The day soon pass as Night soon came as the sky turned dark and the sun is replaced with the crescent moon.
Zagreus and his siblings are walking down the street of Orario as they had just finished talking to Ouranos that took nearly hours before finishing. Now the group are seeming to be in deep thought of something.
"that Zald and Alfia actually turned evil, huh?" said Ploutos before he scratches the back of his head. "damn….just what happened to the two when we left? They were never the type to be evil and all."
"could it be because of that monster?" Makaria asked while having her arms crossed.
"no, it might be something else." Melinoe stated in retort. "there has to be a good reason to why they turned side against their own home."
"even so, the only ones who can give us the answers are the Astraea Familia." Said Zagreus as he stops then turns to look at his siblings. "right now, the goddess Astraea is gone from Orario and the entire members of that Familia are gone. We won't find answers from any of the two."
"but to know that two surviving members of the Zeus and Hera Familia would be a part of Evilus and had attacked Orario years back." Said Melinoe before looking down with a frown. "especially since Alfia is Meteria's sister."
Zagreus frowned a bit as the four knew the two members very well and never saw them for 15 years.
'those two survived against that beast before us….' Zagreus thought as two silhouettes of a man and a woman appeared in the back of his mind. 'they must've had their reasons to join the Evilus. They're not easily corrupted like any other. They might have not changed if we had joined their expedition in the first place'
Zagreus sighs as he stopped thinking and look up to the night sky above.
'Orario changed too much just after we left' Zagreus noted as he looks down and frowns a bit sadly to the street. 'no….to be more accurate, we are the ones who changed too much after leaving the city.'
Zagreus sighs before he reached and scratches the back of his head a few times then cracks his neck to hear the bones popping.
"let's just think of this later." Said Zagreus while rubbing his neck a few times. "for now, Bell's care is important to us."
"more like to you." Ploutos stated while crossing his arms. "Meteria entrusted him to you, didn't she?"
"even so, Zagreus isn't the natural parenting type." Melinoe added while placing a hand to her hip. "he'll need help."
"but not so much from us." Makaria chimed in. "if anyone is a good mother material, it has to be her, right?"
Zagreus sighs as he rubs his neck and then scratches the back of his head.
"i….i am already in a pinch with that." Said Zagreus before Melinoe walked up to him and patted his shoulder a few times.
"it's like a confession, just a bit different in some aspects." Melinoe told Zagreus. "you'll know what to do and when to do it."
Zagreus looks at Melinoe before he looks down and sighs then nodded.
"well then, I'd better be heading back to Tsubaki's shop now." Ploutos stated while placing a fist to his waist. "that girl might need my help fixing up our armors."
"then I'll head back to the Twilight Manor. I need some information from Finn and the others about Evilus swarming attack those years ago. We meet there tomorrow" Melinoe added as she looks at Makaria. "the Hermes Familia should have some information about it too, Makaria"
"I know, but I'm not so willing to return to that perverted god." Said Makaria while sounding annoyed.
"just do it, Makaria." Ploutos stated before he turns and started walking away. "night! see ya guys later!"
Melinoe and Makaria nodded before the two turns towards Zagreus.
"what about you, Zagreus?" Melinoe asked. "your Familia…."
"I know, I'm just going to freeload at some old friend's place for now I think." Zagreus replied. "and if I can, I'll ask information of what they know of that attack years back."
"alright, if you say so." Makaria responded before she turns and started walking away. "see ya~!"
"don't try to stay out too late like years back, Zagreus." Melinoe stated as Zagreus rolled his eye before the red haired Elf woman started walking away. "I expect you to meet up later tomorrow."
"I got it." Zagreus replied as he watched Melinoe walk away.
The man stood in his place before took a deep breath and sighs.
"always alone now that you're gone, Hades-san." Said Zagreus as he scratches the back of his head and was about to walk away but stopped when he hears laughter nearby. He turns his head to see a couple of children's playing around before their parents came. The one eyed masked man watches a mother and a father holds the hands of their son who is seemed happy to see them.
'Family…..huh?' Zagreus thought before he looks away and continued walking. 'it's too late for me after that stupid path I picked to go to'
Zagreus keeps walking but soon stopped again when he hears a rustle coming from a nearby bar.
'a typical bar fight?' Zagreus thought as it was something common in Orario. The man was about to walk away as he didn't feel like bothering with it but he didn't move away when he heard a scream.
"Bell-sama!" a feminine voice screamed out as Zagreus's left eye instantly glows red.
In the bar, Bell is held off the floor. The young boy bleeding from his nose and mouth while at the mercy of Hyakinthos Clio, the captain of the Apollo Familia.
"is that all you got? Little Rookie?" Hyakinthos asked while gripping his hold on Bell's neck. "all I gave you was just a simple love taps, you know?"
It all started from a single hang out meal for Bell and his party and it ended up being a bar fight with the Apollo Familia members who were mocking the Hestia Familia's goddess and everything. That didn't sit well for Bell and the bar fight began because of it.
"you will pay a big price from hurting my comrades." Said Hyakinthos while smirking and tightening his grip on Bell's neck who grunted in pain.
"and you will pay with an arm for hurting my family" a dark voice spoke out as Hyakinthos turns and before he knew it, the hand that was holding Bell was twisted and bended to the point that the Captain of the Apollo Familia was formed into submission.
"gah!" Hyakinthos grunted in pain as the pressure on his submitted arm was very harsh and rough to the point that the bones inside were cracking.
Bell fell as he grunted in pain while holding a hand to his bleeding mouth and nose.
"Bell-sama!" Lili went to Bell as she aided him before she looks and was surprised to see Zagreus appearing into the bar. the one eye masked man holds Hyakinthos down in submission by his hand that he started to twist harder. "Z-Zagreus…Kaiser?!"
"y-you!" Hyakinthos grunted out before his legs were kicked and cause him to drop to his knees while his gripped arm was pulled back.
"this is a bar, you know." Zagreus asked while his left eye glows redder. "don't take in a fight to the place, brat."
Hyakinthos grunted as his gripped arm is getting twisted hard to the point that he could feel the joints in it was going to broke off.
"hey, Pallum girl." Zagreus called out as Lili responded with a noise. "who started this little scuffle?"
"u-um….t-the Apollo Familia…" Lili replied while looking to the unconscious members of the Apollo Familia that were beaten up by Bell and Welf, the said Blacksmith slowly getting up from a beating he got from Hyakinthos.
"I see" said Zagreus as he glance at Lili before to Hyakinthos who is on his knees and holding back the pain of his arm getting twisted hard. "Apollo's brats, huh?"
Zagreus pulled Hyakinthos to his feet forcibly before pushing him away towards the bar's door.
Hyakinthos turns and glares at Zagreus who waved a hand away in shooing him.
"go back to your god, brat." Zagreus told Hyakinthos before giving him a death glare. "or I'll make you."
Hyakinthos didn't speak a word as he sends a growling glare the man before he leaves with the rest of his downed Familia slowly recovering before following after their captain.
"hey" a voice called out as Zagreus turns his head to see Bete Loga, the Vanargand. "what do you think you're doing here, huh? Just coming in to this bar where I'm drinking."
"shut up, dog" Zagreus stated while placing a hand to his hip. "or perhaps you would like to learn how to play dead?"
Bete harden his gaze at Zagreus for a few minutes as the two were in a dead lock stare that ended when the werewolf looks away with a sigh before getting up from his seat then placed some valis to the bartender who was hiding behind the bar in fear.
"I don't know what your relationship is to rabbit, but you just made things worse for him." Said Bete as he walks out of the bar while Zagreus watches him.
Bete left the bar as Zagreus sees him leave before he sets his eyes on Bell who was getting helped with his injured nose and mouth by Lili who is cleaning the blood off with a napkin.
"bartender" Zagreus called out as the bartender squeaks in fear while hiding behind his bar. A pouch was thrown to the bar as it landed near the scared bartender. "inside that pouch is 500,000 Valis. It should be enough to repair the damage in your bar and upgrade it if you want, understand?"
"y-yes!" the bartender just squeaks in fear. "please! Just leave!"
Zagerus looks at the scared bartender before to Lili and Welf, both still with Bell who is looking at him while still in pain.
"go home, Bell." Zagreus told Bell before he throws a potion to which Lili caught and then proceeds to slowly walk out of the Bar.
"Z-Zagreus-san.." Bell grunted out while watching the man leave.
The time passes as night became midnight as Zagreus is now at the roof of a building where he laid down on the rooftiles and watch the crescent moon hanging in the night sky.
'being his caretaker is hard, Meteria. I am not sure I can play this fake role for too long.' Zagreus thought as he looks at the moon that is slowly getting covered in the dark clouds floating by. 'still… he's your son….i might have to suck it up and do my best to keep him safe like I promise you.'
Zagreus' eye softens as he sees the moon again that shines its glowing radiance to him.
"I knew it…..the moon's radiance is way better than the sun.." Zagreus muttered out before he let out a yawning sound under his mask. "and give a way better feeling before sleeping."
"hey!" a voice called out as Zagreus looks to the side and sees Mia popping out of a window near the roof because the building where the man is laying around to watch the moon is the Hostess of Fertility. "just how long are you going to stay out here? It's damn cold during night, you know!?"
Zagreus sighs as he was staying at Mia's bar for the night, the man being a freeloader to the pub as he was allowed by the owner herself.
"it's cold but it feels great for me, Mia." Zagreus replied while chuckling. "why not join me?"
"and get a damn cold from being out here? Heck no." Mia retorted before rolling her eyes with a smile. "still with this old habit of yours, huh?"
"it's a cherished habit I got from Hades-san. I always do it no matter what." Zagreus replied as Mia just shakes her head before grabbing holds of the window's doors.
"just get back in before it gets way too late! I am not in the mood to let someone like you get a cold because of me!" Mia told Zagreus who nodded.
"thanks for still caring, Mia." Zagreus told Mia who huffs before she lets go of the window's doors and went back in. ensuring the man has a way into her place if he wants to sleep.
Zagreus went back to watching the crescent moon to which he reaches a hand up in trying to hold it.
"a lie is warm but the truth is cold, to live is with pain and to die is with no pain…." Zagreus spoke out in a wise voice before he chuckles as he reached into his jacket and takes out a locket which he clicks the button on the top to open it in revealing a photo inside. "…the old oath of our Familia never sounds so good, right? Hades-san?"
Stored in the locket is a photo of a younger looking Zagreus who still wears his mask but with no eyepatch on, the young past self was with a long black haired woman who has pale white smooth skin yet having beauty comparable with the Goddess of Beauty, Freyja and a figure that can rival any other goddesses. she wears a black tight suit that barely covers her assets that is slightly covered by the loose jacket around her shoulders. Her accessories consist of a gunslinger like belt around her waist. The woman also has a black flaming skeletal tattoo mark that covers some parts of her neck up to her left cheek. Upon closer look, the woman has cold emotionless looking red eyes that has small hint of happiness and joy if one looks a bit closer.
Zagreus smiles underneath his mask as he closed the locket before he continues to gaze upon the crescent moon that was glowing radiantly to him.
"the view here is good, but the view at the village was better like you told me…" Zagreus muttered out as he closed his eye and let out a long sigh. "…Meteria."
Zagreus staid laying on the roof as the man rested himself while basked under the moonlight.
The next day came as the sun was up in the bright sky. We turn our attention to the Twilight Manor, the Home for the Loki Familia who has a guest in.
At the garden at the back of the building, Riveria is with Zagreus as the man is getting a hair trim by the high elf. Strips of hair are all over the floor as the sound of scissor snips made more snips up hair fall.
"sorry to ask you into doing this in the morning, Riveria." Said Zagreus while sitting still as the high elf cuts and trims his hair. "I could've asked Melinoe or anyone to do this but if anyone is very good with scissors and combs, it has got to be you."
"it's fine. Do you think I don't help the girls in my Familia taking care of their hair?" Riveria asked with a chuckle while combing a few strands of Zagreus' hair and then snips them with her scissors. "even in battle, an unkept hair can give some trouble. Isn't that what you taught me in the past?"
"I believe so." Zagreus replied chuckling back.
"just how long did you let it grow?" Riveria asked Zagreus while combing some of his long hair and cuts the long edges off. "they're longer than I remembered."
"I guess so. They've been growing for the entire 15 years after all" Zagreus replied while just sitting still and lets Riveria cuts his long hair, the man covers his right eye and mouth with bandages as he took off his mask and eyepatch when Riveria started to cut his hair. "I went all around the world and never took time to cut it."
"I see.." said Riveria while cutting a few stands of his hair and then combs his hair five times. "when you came last time, I was really surprised of your new look as I thought you turned into a long haired old man over the years."
"ha ha ha, very funny." Zagreus replied with a smile and a few chuckles as Riveria responded with her own.
While Riveria keeps on snipping and combing Zagreus hair. Loki, Aiz, Tione, Tiona, and Lefiya are nearby as they watch the high elf trimming the half elf man's hair.
"I don't know who the guy and his siblings are and all…" said Tione while watching Riveria trims Zagreus' hair. "being all chummy with Riveria and everything sure seems normal-ish for some reason to me."
"Riveria told me that he is the armored man who brutally slaughtered the Goliath" Aiz stated as Tione, Tiona, and Lefiya turns to look at her with surprised eyes.
"that guy!?" Tiona stated as Aiz just nodded.
"he looks….rather plain.." Lefiya muttered while seeing Zagreus who is sitting still in silence. "I mean…he doesn't look like the brutal and gore-ish type."
"don't let his looks fool ya, Lefiya." Loki stated as the goddess is smiling while watching Riveria combs Zagreus hair into a hair style that she is preferring for him to have. "that man is Zagreus Kaiser, or Zag-tan as I like to call him. He's someone who can pull off impossible feat and can scare any bad god or goddess in an instant. Melinoe and the others are able to do the same things as he did, but they pale in comparison to him."
"is he that good at being a fighter?" Tione asked as Loki nodded.
"he's someone who could take down Freyja's Ottar and the entire Freyja Familia if he wanted." Loki replied as this made more surprise to hear that the only Level 7 Adventurer in Orario could be defeated by Zagreus himself. "he didn't get the title Bloody Kaiser just because he killed Floor Bosses and all. He earned that title just because of who he is."
While Loki was conversing with the girls, Riveria was almost finished trimming Zagreus hair as the high elf is blowing away some hair on his shoulder before backing away for the man to stand up with a new hair style while quickly putting on his mask and eyepatch that wasn't shown to anyone.
"how do you like it?" Riveria asked while handing a small mirror to Zagreus who took it before looking at his new hair style which is the in the form of a spiky hair cut that has a few long strands of hair on the back.
"my old haircut, huh? Can't say that I don't feel nostalgic to have it back." Said Zagreus while checking his sides. "but beggars can't be choosers sometimes. It feels nice to have an old look back."
"even though your hair colour changed over the years." Riveria stated as Zagreus shrugs his shoulders before handing back the hand mirror to the high elf.
"just because I live long as a half elf, doesn't mean my body won't give me some changes." Said Zagreus while twirling a hand around as the hair that was on the floor started to fly up and flew around in a circle then gets sucked into an air sphere then burns in flames and turns into ashes. "High Elves have it easy, right? You guys would still look the same even if you are a century old."
"even some high elves would have some changes, Zagreus." Riveria replied while giggling a bit.
"does those changes come with hair turning white?" Zagreus asked as he points a finger at his reddish white hair. "I used to have reddish black hair for crying out loud."
"age is an enemy to everyone after all." Said Riveria while shrugging her shoulders. "even I would have some trouble with it."
"like hell you do." Zagreus replied while chuckling.
While Zagreus and Riveria have a conversation with each other as they sit down on a stone bench together, Loki and the others watch them.
"as always. Those two are always so chummy wummy with each other~" said Loki with a smile.
"those two are acting close." Said Tione as Tiona nodded in agreement.
"are they best friends?" Aiz asked while blinking her eyes twice.
"more than best friends, Zag-tan is Riveria's fiancé!" Said Loki in a whisper.
"eh?! That Riveria/-sama has a fiancé!?" Tione, Tiona, and Lefiya whispered in surprise as Loki nodded a few times while Aiz just looks surprised.
"their love story is like one of the greatest stories of a hero and a princess love tragedy! hear this~!" Loki stated as she spins and she brought the girls into her imagination world. "15 years ago! A freelancing adventurer Zag-tan of former Hades Familia fell in love with Riveria of the Loki Familia! both were deeply in love with one another as they promised to one day get married! But!" the goddess of mischief soon shed tears and took out a napkin which she blows her nose on. "a tragedy had occurred and caused Zag-tan to leave his beloved fiancé upon Orario with a promise to return to her! Zag-tan and his siblings left to take revenge on a monster that had taken the lives of their friends from a far away location! He and his siblings then never returned as there was no news of them ever being heard! Until two days ago! They have finally returned! It was as if a long lost forgotten miracle has shined upon Riveria's heart once again! Her beloved had finally returned as he had promised! Truly! A legend of a legend!"
"how amazing~!" Tiona cheered to hear the story as she clapped her hands several times with Lefiya joining.
"but still, it's such a shocker." Said Tione before looking to Riveria who was giggling with a smile to Zagreus. "to hear that the stern faced Riveria was a maiden in love once."
"you won't believe the number of times Riveria would go to the dungeon with Zag-tan, or go have tea with him, or even just spend time with him~!" said Loki while having a happy smile. "they were like two parts of one soul that had split apart for decades and finally return to be whole once again! Truly! Truly a magical and beautiful love they have!"
"Loki, what was the monster that they went after?" Aiz asked as she was very curious on the monster part of the story. "was it very dangerous and strong to get all 4 Kaiser Siblings to go out of Orario?"
"yeah." Loki replied with a nod before turning to look at Zagreus who circles a hand around Riveria's waist and leans close to her. "the monster was the last of the three. The one creature that had destroyed the Zeus and Hera Familia. The One Eyed Black Dragon."
Hearing the name of the monster caused Aiz and the others' eyes to widen in surprise and shock but the one who was more surprised and shocked was the Sword Princess herself.
"the One Eyed Black Dragon!? The Black Dragon that destroyed the Zeus and Hera Familia?!" Tiona exclaimed in surprise. "the Zeus and Hera Familia! The two former strongest Familia in Orario in the past!?"
"yeah, it was the monster that was by far the feared amongst the Three Great Beasts." Loki stated while nodding as she crosses her arms. "after the Zeus and Hera Familia were destroyed by it, Zag-tan and the others went off to take revenge as the two Familias had many of their close friends who lost their lives. You could say that they couldn't let it off after what it did to their friends and just went after it in their stead. I was fearful if they would actually get their revenge and come back alive, but they did."
"you mean….they actually beat it?" Tione asked as Aiz's hands clenched into a hard fist.
"I don't know about that part." Loki replied while shrugging her shoulders as she looks at Zagreus who is admiring the garden's flowers with Riveria. "I never got to know whether or not Zag-tan and the others succeeded in what Zeus and Hera Familia failed to do. I was planning to ask them after those two are out of their lovey dovey atmosphere. But that might take a while."
Tione, Tione, and Lefiya looks at Zagreus and Riveria as both leaned close to each other while Aiz seems to be in deep thought with anger scrunching up her face a bit.
Riveria leans close to Zagreus's shoulder as her hand holds his with their fingers intertwined.
"I missed this…" Riveria muttered out as she had her eyes closed and her lips in a soft smile while leaning close to the man. "peaceful, calm, and serene…"
"if you count Lo-tan's loud voice as serene, I guess so." Said Zagreus with a chuckle as Riveria giggles a bit in reply.
Zagreus leans his head close to Riveria's as his hand holds hers tighter yet softly.
'should I tell her now?' Zagreus thought as his face frowns a bit. 'the moment is right and all…'
Zagreus glance at Riveria as the high elf was smiling while enjoying his accompany with her.
"Riveria…" Zagreus whispered out as Riveria hums before peeking her eyes open to look at him. "there's something I want to tell you…"
"what is it?" Riveria asked as Zagreus was about to reply when Melinoe's voice came calling out to the man.
"Zagreus! Where are you!?" Melinoe called out as she came into the scene.
Zagreus growls in annoyance quickly before he turns to look at his sister who came walking towards him.
"Melinoe, you do know that I was with Riveria. The heck you came shouting out my fricking name." Zagreus stated while growling at his sister who looks at him then to Riveria before back to him.
'I see' Melinoe thought quickly before she coughed into a fist once. "it's about what Evilus did when we were away."
"what did you get?" Zagreus asked while parting with Riveria as he stands up to face Melinoe.
"I'll share when Ploutos and Makaria gets here." Melinoe stated before she looks around then back to Zagreus. "just where are they? I told them to meet up here yesterday."
"Ploutos might be held up with fixing our armor with Tsuba-kii. Makaria might still be having a bath." Said Zagreus as he held his hands up and shrugs his shoulders. "you know very well just how the two are when we don't plan for the dungeon and all."
"this is a serious matter!" Melinoe retorted before the two looks up and sees Ploutos with Makaria came jumping in as they landed near their siblings.
"Ploutos, Makaria." Riveria greeted the two with a smile as they stand up straight and nodded their heads once to the high elf before turning their attention to Zagreus and Melinoe.
"sorry, we're late." Said Ploutos "I heard some news on my way here that I got to check if it's true."
"about what?" Melinoe asked.
"Zagreus here beat up some members of the Apollo Familia at a bar last night." Makaria stated while pointing a finger at the man who looks deadpanned to the pointing finger.
"Zagreus, you did that?" Melinoe asked. "just what did they do? Have a bar fight or something?"
"they were beating up Bell and his friends." Zagreus replied with a serious glint appearing in his glowing red eye as this made Melinoe's eyes widen for a second then slowly closed.
"I see. I guess they had it coming." Melinoe stated while shaking her head before she opened her eyes and then focused her attention to Makaria. "did you have information from your familia?"
"my former god is still perverted as he could be, but he gave me some good information about Evilus and their remnants." Makaria replied before sighing tiredly. "that Hermes still tried to peep at me when I was taking a bath."
"did he?" said Zagreus as he and Ploutos started cracking their knuckles. "let me and Ploutos pay him a visit one day."
"settle it later." Melinoe stated as she lifted her right fist towards the three who did the same action.
Zagreus and his siblings went silent as they just pressed their fists against each other while Riveria watches them. In the side lines, Loki and the others were also watching them.
"what are they doing?" Lefiya asked with a curious face.
"I don't know if it's a magic or a skill or something, but they do that when they want to share private information with one another." Loki explained. "at first I thought they were bluffing and all but they prove it when I told something only to Melinoe but Zagreus and the others knew it without her telling."
"sharing?" Tione stated with a sceptic look.
"just what are they sharing?" Tiona asked curiously.
"who knows?" Loki replied while shrugging her shoulders. "there's no telling what they are sharing to each other's mind when they are like that."
Aiz stayed silent as she looks with a strong gaze at the four siblings.
Zagreus and the others stayed in their position for a few seconds before they pulled their fists away from each other.
"nothing much on their whereabouts, huh?" said Ploutos while crossing his arms. "those Evilus are like cockroaches who can get through the tiniest place."
"but we know that they have only a few supporting Familia left in their ranks." Makaria stated in. "mostly all their strong manpower is gone during their first attack years back."
"that doesn't settle well since they started adding monsters to their strength." Melinoe retorted while cupping her chin. "there only 3 places I can guess that might be the location of their current hideout."
"the Dungeon, Daedalus Street, and someplace that we don't know, right?" said Zagreus as Melinoe nodded. "we could go and survey the area, but that might take a while."
"we should put this on hold then." Ploutos stated. "if it takes time, I need to use the most of it to fix up our suits." The half masked platinum haired man then pointed at Makaria. "especially yours, Makaria! Why the heck is your suit, so god damn banged up in the joints and the legs!? Why didn't you take care of it like I told you to!?"
"it was a pain so I just forced it to work." Makaria replied while shrugging her shoulders. "it didn't bother me so much, you know?"
"it bothers me to a pure headache!" Ploutos shouted. "do you have any idea just how much hard work I, Tsubaki, and Hephaestus-sama put in to make our suits in the first place?! I didn't leave my shop for an entire year just to make them four, you know?!"
"enough, Ploutos." Melinoe stated. "we will get you the materials to fix our armor, don't shout so much in the morning."
"like hell I'm not! Your suit was having problems too!" Ploutos retorted. "you only took care of the bladed parts! Do you have any idea just how much rust you made coating the other parts! It was like a sandwich that was getting fungus!"
Zagreus sighs tiredly as Ploutos complains at Melinoe and Makaria, the man shakes his head before he felt a gaze of just vengeance and hatred directed to him.
"hey." Zagreus called out to his siblings as they turned towards him before they sensed the vengeful and hatred filled gaze directed at them. They then turns towards Loki and the others as they look directly at Aiz with their expressions darkening. "what do you want? Giving us the dead on stare? Trying to pick a fight with us?"
"w-wait! Wait! Zag-tan! We aren't doing anything like that!" Loki exclaimed quickly before Aiz came walking pass her. "eh? Aiz-tan?"
"Aiz?" Riveria muttered out as the Sword Princess walked up and got near Zagreus and his siblings.
"did you kill it?" Aiz stated as she has a hardened gaze at Zagreus and the others. "did you kill the Black Dragon?"
Zagreus and his siblings look at Aiz for a moment before to each other.
"revenge driven?" Makaria asked.
"probably, I see in her eyes mostly revenge." Ploutos stated in return.
"she lost many friends and family?" Melinoe added.
"just like we did, huh?" said Zagreus before he looks at Aiz. "you, what is your name again?"
"Aiz…Aiz Wallenstein." Aiz responded as Zagreus crosses his arms.
"right, the Sword Princess…" said Zagreus while tapping a finger to his arm. "regarding to your question, we didn't kill the Black Dragon. We only wounded it deep enough to cause it to flee and never to be seen in years."
"and if you are thinking of asking us on its information, you're out of luck." Makaria added while placing a hand to her hip. "it won't do you good since you're too weak to fight it."
"what?" said Aiz as Zagreus sighs before he glanced at Melinoe who nodded then started to take off her jacket.
"our battle against the Black Dragon for the revenge of our fallen friends of the Zeus and Hera Familia took 3 days and 3 nights to end." Melinoe stated as she took off her jacket and reveals deep blackish burned scars all over her body. "the four of us survived against it but lost some parts of our body in return. I lost half of my vital organs and nearly my own eye."
"I lost a part of my face and some of my organs." Ploutos added as he took off his mask to reveal the right side of his face that looks burned up with some part of the flesh gone. "I can barely breath sometimes through the right side of my nose and see with my right eye."
"I nearly lost my sight and I have scars that are pretty deep." Makaria went next as she took off her blindfold and mask to reveal her eyes having burned marks, the pupils of her eyes white as snow that nearly looked like she was blind. The skin around her mouth just had scars around it. She then took off her jacket to reveal a single large blackish round scar around her stomach as it made her belly button disappear. "I also nearly lost my life when it plunged one of its claws into me."
"I lost an eye, both of my arms, and nearly half of all my organs." Zagreus went next as he took off his jacket and showed his back that has one large black scar that runs from the right shoulder down to the left side of his waist. "the scars we got never healed with magic or potion or anything. These scars run deep with nothing but a curse."
Aiz looks at the four as they showed no signs of pain of their scars.
"if you are thinking of going to find that creature, you can forget it." Ploutos stated with a serious face. "the four of us have an unsettled business with it and we plan to take it down ourselves. You can forget about going after it, you'd be nothing but minced meat when you first find it."
"i!" Aiz exclaimed before Zagreus came and stood in front of her.
"you will get stronger and be able to fight it? Sorry, but that is something years away for you to achieve." Zagreus stated as he placed a hand on top of Aiz's head and rubs it a few times. "just stay in Lo-tan's Familia and be a normal adventurer. Leave the Black Dragon to us."
"no!" Aiz exclaimed as she slapped Zagreus' hand away from her head. "i! that Black Dragon! I will be the one to kill it!"
"vengeful to the pride?" Makaria whispered to Melinoe who nodded. "what a fool."
"you won't be able to kill it, much less trying to find it." Ploutos stated while putting his mask back on and then crossed his arms. "me and the others split up after we survived against it in our first battle. We scouted the whole world trying to find it, but we got nothing in result. We think that it might be hiding somewhere to heal its wound."
"then!" Aiz stated before Melinoe stood in front of her while pushing Zagreus away from her.
"if you think you can go and find it, try it." Said Melinoe while giving a dark look on Aiz. "if you can beat me that is."
"h-hey! Melinoe!" Loki called out. "you can't be serious to have a spar with Aiz-tan!"
"this girl has vengeance written all over her face. She won't stop pursuing us about where the Black Dragon might be" Melinoe stated while slowly smirking. "and I have a rather interested tingle to test her might against mine."
"there it is, Melinoe's crazy hobby to clash blade with other swordsmen." Said Ploutos as he walks away with Makaria following.
"Melinoe-nee was always the battle crazed one than the chivalry one, remember?" Makaria added.
"are you seriously going to fight her?" Zagreus asked Melinoe who nodded and that made the man sigh. "don't hurt her too much, you might go overboard like you used to."
"don't I always?" Melinoe replied while chuckling.
"wait, Melinoe" Riveria stated as she went near her elven companion. "Aiz is just.."
"sorry, but your words won't be influencing me right now, Riveria." Melinoe spoke out while having a dark look that made Riveria feel a bit nervous before Zagreus leads her away.
Loki gulped before she quickly got Tiona and the others to move away.
"what's going on?" Tiona asked Loki.
"Melinoe is going to fight Aiz and you guys don't want to be near them when they fight." Loki stated in reply while looking a bit scared. "if you guys are still confused, Melinoe is crazy dangerous when in any battle. May it be a spar or not, she's deadly!"
"deadly how?" Tione asked before Aiz went flying back and crashed to the wall before sliding down with a pained look.
"Aiz-san!" Lefiya exclaimed in shock as Tione and Tiona looked surprised.
"what's wrong?" Melinoe asked while smirking as she had kicked the Sword Princess away with a leg lifted before pulled down. "you think you can fight the Black Dragon with just your sword? Sorry, but me and my siblings fought until we had to use our bare hands. If you are so dependent with your sword that you might lose in the battlefield, you'll be dead."
Aiz got back up as she winced a bit in pain before she quickly raised her hands up and got into a fighting stance.
"ho? Not bad determination you have." Said Melinoe as she smirked before she crouched down then made a fast dash at Aiz who jumped away, but the red hair elven woman followed her movement. "too slow!"
Melinoe spins and sends a powerful swinging kick straight at Aiz who guarded with her hands but was sent flying straight to the ground that cracks upon her crash.
"gah!" Aiz coughs out some saliva and air while Melinoe's kick caused her arms that guarded against her attack to be purply bruised.
"Aiz!" Riveria exclaimed while Zagreus stops her from intervening.
"is that all?" Melinoe asked while standing near Aiz and gave her a dark smirk. "I guess you're still weak since you are just a level 6 and all."
"Aerial!" Aiz grunted out as she glared at Melinoe before wind started to rage around her. "Tempest!"
"she's using her wind magic now!?" Tione exclaimed in surprise.
Melinoe kept her dark smirk as Aiz slowly got up with the wind surrounding her in a powerful gust. The Sword Princess stood on her feet before she disappears.
"not bad, a very short chant magic." Melinoe stated before she ducked when Aiz appeared behind her and sends a swinging kick that she dodged. "but you are still too slow!"
Aiz clicked her tongue before she started sending furies of punches and kicks at Melinoe who dodged so easily as her eyes followed the attack and her reflexes dodged them in time.
"she's now playing around with the poor girl." Said Makaria with a pity look. "I might have to prepare the healing magic when she finished her up."
"I thought her old habit would've gone away after our travel…" said Ploutos while standing near Zagreus and Riveria. The half masked platinum haired man scratching his head while letting out a tired sigh "…we have a messed up big sister."
Aiz dives in with a kick as it was dodged by Melinoe who smirks and then grabs the blonde's leg then swung her to the ground.
"agh!" Aiz grunted in pain but Melinoe didn't let her down for long, the elven woman grabs the Sword Princess by the neck and lifts her up as high as her hand can lift her.
"Aiz-san!" Lefiya screamed out before she gasps as Melinoe knees Aiz's gut and then throws her into the air but soon kicked her away when she came down. "Aiz-san!"
Aiz crashed to the ground as she rolled on it before coming to a stop.
"u-ugh…" Aiz groaned in pain as her bones and her body felt like they were hit by numerous amounts of heavy cinderblocks.
Melinoe soon came and lifted Aiz up by her hair to look at how beat up she was.
"you think you can beat me or any of my siblings with your current strength?" Melinoe asked as she lets go of Aiz's hair then grabs her shoulder before sending a hard knee straight to her gut. "you thought wrong!"
Aiz's eyes widen and her mouth wide open while puking out blood and saliva as the pain of the attack was excruciating for her.
"Aiz!" Riveria screamed out before she looks to Zagreus. "stop Melinoe! Zagreus! Stop her please! She'll kill Aiz at this rate!"
Zagreus didn't respond as he just firms his gaze at his sister who drops Aiz, the Blonde girl grunted in pain with her hands holding her stomach while blood was coming out of her lips.
"the Black Dragon didn't let us take a single breather or a single moment to recuperate, you know?" Melinoe stated while going down to one knee near Aiz. "at your level, the moment you rest it will be your final resting moment. Just admit it, you can't win nor could you even hurt it. You are too dependent on one thing and one thing only, revenge. Just having that and guess what? You'll end up dead. You are weak."
Aiz couldn't respond as the pain of Melinoe's attack on her was too excruciating and she never felt such intense pain before.
"next time you try to give me and my siblings the vengeance glare. It might be your last, little girl." Said Melinoe as she got up and turned around to walk away. "just like what my brother said, forget about revenge against that monster and leave it to us."
"n-never…" a grunt spoke out as Melinoe stops in her steps before slowly turning with a smirk.
Melinoe glances back while having an amused smirk as Aiz got back up while huffing her breathing.
"i….that monster….i will kill it!" Aiz stated as everyone looks at her.
"impressive determination…" said Melinoe before she disappears and reappear behind Aiz. "but still weak!"
Melinoe soon sends Aiz flying into the air with a powerful kick as she followed it up by jumping high above and then hammers her fists down when the Sword Princess came at her.
Aiz fell and crashed to the ground in a big crater as Melinoe came down with a kick that is aimed for the blonde girl's head.
"die!" Melinoe screamed out as she came down fast on Aiz, but Zagreus and Ploutos intervened. "what?!"
"you're going overboard!" Ploutos shouted as he and Zagreus guarded Aiz with their hands that is blocking Melinoe's kick before both pushed her away.
Melinoe jumped back and landed a few feet from the two as they stand in front of Aiz who was soon tended by Riveria and Makaria.
"Aiz-tan!" Loki and the others followed suite as they checked on Aiz who is unconscious and is getting healed by Riveria and Makaria, both chanting a quick healing spell on her.
"Aiz! Aiz!" Tiona called out to Aiz but she was out cold.
"so brutal…" Tione stated from seeing the purple bruises around Aiz's arms.
"Aiz-san! Hang on!" Lefiya called out as she joined in healing the Sword Princess.
"she went overboard way too much." Said Makaria while healing Aiz's stomach that was kicked very hard by Melinoe.
"she'll live." Said Melinoe while having a satisfied smile. "that girl has the fiery determination for her vengeance. She got the right stuff to back it up."
"your point?" Zagreus asked while raising an eyebrow.
"I'm going to take her as my student." Melinoe stated as this made Zagreus, Loki, Riveria, Ploutos, and Makaria look at her in shock.
"HUH!?" the five shouted in shock.
"I was planning to find a successor who I will pass on my skills." Said Melinoe while crossing her arms. "looks like I found her."
"hey hey, is this the battle crazed Melinoe talking or the calm minded Melinoe talking?" said Ploutos while scratching the back of his head. "but she's kinda got the point there, the four of us are getting older by the day. It might be time for us to pass our skills to the young ones."
"you're talking like you really are an old man." Zagreus stated with a sweatdrop to his brother.
"I'm still young though." Makaria chimed in with a proud smirk.
"you're already 100! Start acting your age!" Zagreus and Ploutos exclaimed in unison.
"matters of our age aside, I finally found my successor." Said Melinoe with a smirk while going near Aiz.
"this is such…" said Riveria while looking at Melinoe then to Aiz whose wounds were slowly healing with the magic.
Time passes as we turn our attention to the hallway where Melinoe, Ploutos, and Makaria were standing by while Zagreus came out of the infirmary room where Loki, Riveria, Tione, Tiona, and Lefiya were sitting by watching over Aiz who is resting inside.
"Melinoe, you over did it a bit." Said Zagreus while sounding a bit disappointed to his sister. "you practically broke some of her bones in the process of your little fight."
"as long as she is still alive and breathing, that isn't over did it." Melinoe stated while crossing her arms. "I was trying to teach her lesson after all."
"about what? Her revenge might get the rest of the Loki Familia killed?" Ploutos asked before sighing. "you know, you just got to talk things out sometimes."
"that girl doesn't look like the type to understand through words, you know?" Makaria stated while placing a hand to her hip. "she might be one of those who will learn better through action than with words."
"matters of it aside, she will get your message once she wakes up." Said Zagreus while facepalming a bit. "but I don't think she will survive another one of your spar in her current condition."
"she will once I train her." Melinoe replied while chuckling a bit. "that girl has fiery determination in her eyes, the type that was similar with ours when we left Orario those years ago."
"she did, didn't she?" said Ploutos while crossing his arms. "by the way, what about you and Riveria, Zagreus?"
"what about us?" Zagreus replied.
"what else? The little thing with the kid." Ploutos replied as Zagreus sighs tiredly.
"I would've been able to tell her if someone didn't came interrupting." Zagreus stated with his gaze directed at Melinoe.
"I'm sorry, but the point of Evilus was too important to be waited." Melinoe replied while sighing. "I'll make it up to you one day."
"it'd better be soon." Zagreus replied as he sighs again while scratching the back of his head. "it was damn hard for me to just speak out the first word."
"alright then." Said Makaria while crossing her arms. "what should we be doing now?"
"since we're holding back the investigation with Evilus, we should be standing by for now." Melinoe stated while waving a hand around. "but if anything, let's check on the boy."
"they were having a barfight with Apollo Familia, right?" said Ploutos while cupping his chin. "if I remember correctly. that god was and still as of now a pervert, right?"
"his level of being a pervert actually gives that stupid Hermes a better name of being one." Makaria added before looking a bit awkward and annoyed at the same time. "damn, I actually think I prefer Hermes over Apollo…That gives me a bad vibe."
"you guys think that Apollo will be planning something?" Zagreus asked while having his arms crossed. "I intervened but I don't think Apollo's brats would even know of me or any of us. He might not even planned from not knowing of our return, unless Ganesha decided to spout out lots of things to the other gods like he usually does."
"even if he did, the entire gods and goddesses of Orario would be in a big panic since we've returned." Ploutos stated. "since there is no big panic, that means Ganesha has his mouth shut."
"ain't that a surprise?" Melinoe added
"so? should we watch over the boy? Or something else?" Makaria asked as the four siblings look at each other.
"watch over?" Zagreus suggested as his siblings nodded in response.
"watch over." Melinoe, Ploutos, and Makaria stated in unison while nodding.
Meanwhile in the infirmary, Loki and the others watch over Aiz as the Sword Princess rested on her bed while having some bandages around her face.
"Melinoe hasn't changed at all!" Loki stated while scratching the back of her head. "she's still the same Spartan fighter!"
"is Aiz going to be alright?" Tiona asked with a frown from seeing the bandages around Aiz's face.
"she'll be alright, Makaria's high heal spell dealt with most of her wounds. She just needs a few hours of rest." Riveria stated while sitting beside Aiz's bed. The high elf letting out a tired sigh. "Melinoe is a respected adventurer but she becomes a different person during battle. We were lucky that she didn't brought any weapon with her."
"why is that a good thing?" Tione asked.
"if Melinoe had any weapon, even a small pocket knife…" said Loki before her face become horrified. "Aiz-tan will literally be minced meat right now!"
"Loki, you're exaggerating too much" Riveria stated before sighing. "but she's right. Melinoe is a very dangerous person with or without a weapon. The same goes for Zagreus and the others."
"just how dangerous are they?" Lefiya asked while looking worried for Aiz's condition.
"I believe it's time the three of you learn of the Kaiser Siblings' history." Riveria stated while turning to look at Tiona, Tione, and Lefiya. "for starters. Melinoe Kaiser who is the oldest of the four; she's an Elven master swordswoman, she earned her title as the Bladed Kaiser; the most fastest of the four in the field of battle and a very agile warrior in any weaponry."
"any weaponry?" Tiona asked while blinking her eyes twice.
"she can use any weapon of any type." Loki explained. "may it be a sword to a fricking large axe. You give her ten minutes and she can master it like she has been using that new weapon for years."
"Then there is Ploutos Kaiser; a half Elf half Dwarf master Smith who is the second oldest." Riveria continued "He is the toughest of the four and could forge weapons that exceeds the crafts of any Master Blacksmith in the Hephaestus Familia along with the goddess of smith herself, that earned him the title as the Iron Kaiser."
"he could make weapons better than Hephaestus-sama herself?!" said Tiona in surprise.
"and any other!" Tione added.
"yes" Riveria replied with a nod. "then there is Makaria Kaiser, she's the youngest of the four siblings; she's a Half Elf half Pallum mage. She is not fast or tough like Melinoe and Ploutos but she is the most advance in the skills of magic. Her title is the Mage Kaiser; she has a unique magic that allows her to use any type of magic in existence and a unique skill that allows her to chant incredibly fast. Her prowess nearly surpasses mine and any other mage."
"she has a unique skill like mine?" Lefiya asked as the Thousand Elf has her own unique magic skill.
"a bit like yours, but not so much alike." Loki stated in explanation. "your magic skill allows you to use all types of Elven magic, but Makaria's allows her to use every type of magic. May it be elven magic or not, she can utilize them."
"talk about a superior skill." Said Tione while looking amazed.
"Riveria, what about him? That Zagreus?" Tiona asked to the high elf who nodded before looking back at Aiz.
"Zagreus Kaiser, the third sibling of the Four Kaisers. He is the medium level, or I would like to say that he is an all rounder." Riveria stated. "he is fast, tough, and a magic expert, but they're only second to his siblings. However, Zagreus possesses something that makes him more unique and superior to his siblings in one aspect."
"what is that?" Lefiya asked. "a skill or a magic?"
"it's actually both." Riveria answered. "even though his Familia is no more, Zagreus still has the falna of his goddess, Hades. Giving him two uniqueness; one is Blood Drive that is the blessing that gives him a temporary boost in his status. and the other is his unique skill 'Kill and Take'. A skill that activates when Zagreus kills a monster, a man, or anything that is alive. The skill takes anything of the killed and gives it to him; stating the name as Kill and Take. That is how Zagreus earned his title as the Bloody Kaiser, and the deadliest out of the 4 Kaisers."
"those four are damn monsters now that I know of their level and profile…" said Tione with a nervous look. "Bladed Kaiser, Iron Kaiser, Mage Kaiser, and Bloody Kaiser….they truly earned the name as the 4 Kaisers of Orario."
"it's unbelievable to know that four living legends are actually back on Orario." Tiona stated with an amazed face before it turned nervous. "I don't think I want to ask for a spar with them."
"yeah, I don't think that's a good idea too." Said Loki with a small smile. "all in matter, Zag-tan and the others won't do anything bad to us unless we do something bad to them first. They're the 'get hit and give payback' types. As long as you be nice to them, they'll be nice to you."
"is that why Riveria-san is so kind and nice to Zagreus Kaiser?" Lefiya muttered out "to be on his good side?"
"what are you saying, Lefiya?" Riveria stated while turning towards her apprentice. "are you implying I am kind to Zagreus and the others because I fear their wrath?"
"n-no! it's just that I thought about it after what Loki said…" Lefiya replied in a stutter.
"Lefiya, Riveria here is madly in love with Zagreus." Loki told the elf with an easy going smile. "why would she ever do a fake love act? Riveria loves Zagreus and Zagreus Loves Riveria, it's as simple as that. Understand?"
"yes…." Lefiya replied while slowly nodding.
Before long, everyone heard a grunt from Aiz as the Sword Princess was slowly waking up.
"Aiz/-san!" Tione and the others instantly called out with smiles to see their friend up
"where?" Aiz muttered out while looking in a daze at the ceiling.
"feeling alright, Aiz?" Riveria asked Aiz who slowly sat up but soon winced and her hand flew to her stomach. "easy, you may be healed but you will still feel pained sensation all around your body."
"what happened?" Aiz asked while placing a hand to her head. "I remember fighting Melinoe and then…."
"Melinoe defeated you and you were saved by Zag-tan and Ploutos." Loki answered while crossing her arms. "you could say things nearly got out of hand that time."
"she was….too strong and too fast…I couldn't…" said Aiz as she looks a bit frustrated.
"don't blame yourself for not being strong, Aiz." Riveria told the Blonde. "there was a big gap between your strength and Melinoe's. it was an impossible feat before it could even start."
Aiz nodded as she clenched her hands into hard fists. "how is she so strong?"
"some might say dedication to protect her family or something else." Loki answered. "Melinoe was always worried for Zag-tan and the others as well as the past Loki Familia members. She keeps training with them in mind. She always tells herself at night to be strong to protect her family and friends. I guess that's how she became strong?"
"the same is said for Zagreus and the others." Riveria added while placing a hand to Aiz's shoulder. "Aiz, I want you to think of their way in getting stronger. Vengeance can be a good motivation but it is never good to be used for too long. I can tell that you learned it from your fight against Melinoe, right?"
"yeah….she was…trying to give me a message that time.." said Aiz while slowly nodding. "united strength will always be stronger than individual strength…"
"yes" said Riveria while nodding with a smile. "I hope you can understand and think about it, alright?"
Aiz nodded back as Riveria stands up from her seat.
"you should rest, Aiz." Riveria told the blonde girl. "your wounds may seem healed, but the pain inflicted will still linger around."
"I understand." Said Aiz with a nod.
"we will see you later, Aiz!" Tiona called out with a smile as she, Tione, and Lefiya headed for the door.
"rest well" Tione added.
"we will come to you time by time, Aiz-san!" Lefiya chimed in.
"better not try to go after Melinoe again, alright?" Loki added before she followed the three girls.
"Aiz" Riveria called out. "when you were knocked out, Melinoe wants you to be her successor. which means she wants to train you and teach you her skills that might improve your strength."
"really? She wants me to be her successor?" Aiz asked with a surprised and confused face. "b-but why?"
"yes, you could say that she wants someone to pass her skill to" Riveria replied with a nod. "so?do you want to train under her?"
"yes" Aiz instantly answered with an eager nod. "I will!"
"alright then." Said Riveria while placing a hand to Aiz's shoulder that she patted a few times. "rest well and we will talk with Melinoe later, understand?"
"I understand." Aiz replied while nodding as Riveria smiled before she went for the door.
"rest well." Riveria told Aiz before she leaves the room.
Aiz was now left alone as she lied down on the bed and looks at the ceiling with an excited and anxious face.
'I can get stronger!' Aiz thought with a happy smile as the idea of being taught by someone as powerful as Melinoe will surely boost her level up. 'just like Bell!'
Time passes as we turn our attention to a building near the Hestia Familia home. Zagreus and his siblings were on the top as they were watching Bell who came out of his Home with his adventure gear on.
"he's going to the guild to meet up with his friends." Said Ploutos while watching Bell who started to run straight to the normal path that he always taken to get to the guild. "seems normal so far."
"Apollo Familia might be planning something in the shadow." Makaria stated while crossing her arms and leans against a chimney. "I heard information about them doing plots before striking ahead."
"and?" Zagreus asked while keeping an eye on Bell who took a corner and disappeared then reappeared on another corner out to the main street. "what else?"
"only that most of the Apollo Familia members joined unwillingly." Makaria replied. "but they're just rumours being heard and about."
"I'm surprised Hermes Familia knew about the rumours." Said Melinoe as she squinted her eyes when she sees Bell meeting Syr and Ryuu by the Hostess of Fertility, the three chatted around together. "but I want to know about those two girls by Mia's pub. Something about them gives me a familiar vibe."
"that's what I thought when I first came back." Zagreus added while crossing his arms. "that Elf girl seems safe but that grey haired one? something about her makes me feel uncomfortable sometimes."
"Mia's an inactive member of Freyja Familia, you think its possible that…" Ploutos started before he pauses while taking a glance to Zagreus who squinted his left eye with hints of worry in it.
"if she is, we should limit her approach on the boy." Melinoe chimed in while spreading her right hand's fingers before clenching it into a hard fist a few times. "we all know just how the personality of that goddess is."
"he's leaving." Said Makaria as she saw Bell bidding goodbye to Syr and Ryuu before leaving. "split up and follow him to the dungeon?"
"you and Melinoe go." Said Zagreus as he slowly stands up straight and turns his head slightly with his left eye glowing red. "we will be dealing with the coming unwanted company."
Melinoe and the others turn as they see Allen Fromel, the Gulliver Brothers, Hedin Selland, and Hogni Ragnar; 7 first rate adventurers of the Freyja Familia who stand before them on a building's roof across from theirs.
"I don't know the cat boy and the 4 shrimps, but Hedin and Hogni?" said Makaria while crossing her arms. "seems that Freyja has her amount of problem children, huh? They must've felt that their amazing goddess is threatened with our presence in Orario?"
"they are loyal, that's a fact." Melinoe added before chuckling. "but foolish."
"I don't see Ottar around." Said Ploutos while looking around the area then to the 7 adventurers. "the guy must be stoic enough to know that we would threaten his precious goddess when we want to. Unlike these 7."
"Melinoe, Makaria, go." Zagreus told his two sisters while rolling his neck around and then punch a fist into an open palm that instantly caused static to appear around his arms. "something tells me that these lot are planning something that might include Bell in it."
"don't kill them." Makaria told his brother while Melinoe had jumped away to follow after Bell. "we might get fined for attacking them since we aren't adventurers with Familia's on our back. We might even get banished too."
"we'll try." Ploutos replied while smirking as he and Zagreus started doing some small warm up. "but no promises."
"why did I even bother warning you two?" Makaria asks before sighing as she then followed after Melinoe who is already a few miles away from them.
Zagreus and Ploutos faces the 7 adventurers before they disappeared and reappeared behind them.
The 7 adventurers saw them disappear turn and put their guard up before Zagreus and Ploutos swung a combined kick attack that sends the Gulliver Brothers flying to the ground in a big crash.
Zagreus and Ploutos then stands back to back as they faced Allen, Hedin and Hogni who prepared themselves.
"this might be a good way to put some old stress back." Said Ploutos while facing Allen as Zagreus faced Hedin and Hogni who he glares at. "wanna switch?"
"no thanks." Said Zagreus as he crouches down before dashing straight at Hedin and Hogni who were about to counter attack but failed when the one eyed masked half elf man grabs their heads and slammed them to the roof before dragging them through.
"thought so." Ploutos chuckled before he looks at Allen who readied his spear. "let's play, kitty cat."
Ploutos soon dashed and swung a fist straight at the cat man who blocked with a spear but was soon sent flying from a spinning kick that was followed after the punch.
The half masked platinum haired man then chased after Allen who was soon sent flying with a hammering fist down his face.
It was as if a war begun as Zagreus and Ploutos fights against the 7 adventurers of the Freyja Familia while Melinoe and Makaria went after for Bell to keep him safe.
