Chapter 6: Dreams
Subaru, Emilia, Roswall and Puck had been away from the mansion for about 3-4 hours. Even though they had provisions, they notably stopped on the way at a small restaurant to have their dinner. Subaru notably tried to order a happy feast, but was again disappointed when told that it did not exist. Also, all of the waiters and waitresses seemed to know Roswall. They were all former clients, according to Roswall. After their short stop, they resumed the journey. In the cart, Subaru had a question that had bothered him since this morning, he didn't know how to ask it to Emilia, but he had to know, so he took his courage in both hands and asked her the question.
"Uh, Emilia-tan."
"Yes, Subaru."
"Since this morning, I have a thought that trots my mind and I would like to share it with you."

As he wondered, he felt Morpheus take him and he fell asleep before he could make his decision.

"Huh ?", he said, waking up. He looked around, he was in the mansion.
"Barusu, can I go in?"
"Ram? Uhhhh…. Okay?"
Ram opened the door and closed it behind her. She was in her pink pajamas.
"Barusu, can I sleep with you?"
"What!?"
"Rem is with Emilia and Roswall is serving a client. We're the only ones sleeping on our own, so I thought to myself to comfort each other as well."
"Well, okay, if you want."
Subaru figured it was probably one of her plans to kill him, so you might as well play the game to better counter her.

She approached the bed and then lay down next to him. The bed was small and Subaru could feel her heat which made it uncomfortable so he turned to face the wall.
"Good night, Ram."

Subaru was really unsettled by Ram's attitude, which was strangely kind to him. He was just waiting for her to do her strike. Five minutes passed and she did nothing. Then 10, 20 and an hour passed without anything happening, Subaru was really on edge. Then, finally, he heard Ram turn around and he prepared to intercept her. He expected to see a knife, a chloroform-coated rag, or her hands on her neck, but all he felt was Ram's arms sliding gently down her armpits, then she hugged him. She would not be strong as if to suffocate him, she was only hugging him and sticking to him tenderly. Subaru didn't understand what was going on.
"Ram? What are you doing?"
