I don't own South Park. Trey Parker and Matt Stone do.

Kyle and Heidi were inside Heidi's house inside her room.

Heidi had a giant billboard in front of her wall, with several emojis clustered together on it. She was focused intently on it. Trying to figure out what it meant.

Meanwhile Kyle was with her, looking around her room for anything that could help them. He then opened her dresser and found standing on top of it. A small pink and blue woven necklace. He remembered it as the one Cartman gave Heidi.

"That's what my baby wanted!" Cartman smiled at her.

"Yay put it on me!" she cheered.

Heidi noticed him holding it and rushed up to snatch it from his hands. "Don't touch that!" she said urgently. "I didn't want you to see it."

"Heidi, you kept this thing Cartman gave you?" Kyle said in shock.

"Y-yeah, because it was pretty." Heidi anxiously responded. "And he spent forever making it so I didn't want it to go to waste. Now I think If I grab my Book of Emojis I can decipher the sound waves. She opened the closet and Kyle notices the shirts she had on hangers. They were all the shirts she wore while she was a couple with Cartman. "Nichole's Life Matters," "Come Together as a Skewl", "Danishes for Denmark", "Thing 1", "I'm with Stupid", "Mrs. Always Right", and "Beauty". Heidi saw him looking at the shirts and shut the closet door and said hurriedly, "Well my closet is a huge mess it would be a long time until I found it anyways."

"Heidi, what's going on?" Kyle asked. "You seem to be acting weird everytime I come across something from when you and Cartman."

Heidi sighed and said "OK, you want the truth Kyle? Fine...I'm not over Eric."

"What?" Kyle stared shocked. "But you broke up with him, he controlled you and turned you into another 'him'"

"I know!" Heidi sighed. "I don't know why and when I started to think about him again, how he was so nice to me, calling me 'smart' and 'funny' I could never forget that. I guess I stayed with him even when he changed because I thought I could get that Eric back. But he never did, and then all I could do was..." she stopped herself when she felt her eyes start to burn up. "That's all in the past now,"

"Heidi..." Kyle started slowly.

"Anyways, let's continue with our task." Heidi continued quickly "Using my emoji analysis, I can decrypt the sound-waves of that recent broadcast," she looked at the board intently. "Yet, no matter how many times I look at it, I can never see some sort of pattern. What it all means, I think If I can math this one here...no or maybe take these two out...no..ugh it doesn't make sense." She threw her marker to the ground in frustration.

Kyle walked up to her, "Woah, easy Heidi. It's OK, we're not all perfect. Besides, who ever is setting up those broadcasts are like phantoms, with them sneaking around like silent thieves, nobody will be able to get to the heart of the problem.

Heidi perked up. "Wait, what did you say?"

"I said they're like phantoms,"

"No the full thing!" Heidi ordered.

Kyle responded "I said they're like phantoms with them sneaking around like silent thieves, nobody will be able to get to the heart of the problem."

"That's it!" Heidi quickly ran over to the board and grabbed some string. She tied it to one specific emoji: a top hat, to another: a Joker card, then a cat, a skull, and so forth.

"If I connect all of these emojis together then maybe..." she took a step back.

All the emojis, specifically the ones on the outer rim all tied with the string, took the outline of a top hat with a few small flames.

The Logo of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.

"Oh my god!" gasped Kyle, "The Phantom Thieves of Hearts from Persona 5 are behind this?"

"It's very likely," Heidi responded grimly, "Though we still don't know why they're doing this. I'll share this with the school tomorrow so they'll understand, and so that another mess like the Gender War won't happen again."

At that moment they heard the sound of a garage opening. Heidi ran to the window and gasped. "Oh, crap! My dad!"

"Your dad?" cried Kyle.

"If he so much as sees you, he'll squash you into a pancake Kyle!" Heidi cried. "We have to get you out of here!"

"But how!?" he responded.

Heidi looked around and said, "The Window! We'll get you out through there!"

"What!?" cried Kyle.

Heidi threw open the window and pushed Kyle towards it, "You go first, slide down the drain pipe and into the bushes."

"Heidi, I'm not-" Kyle started.

"FUCKING DO IT!" she screamed.

"OK! OK!" Kyle carefully slipped out the window grabbed the drainpipe, and immediately slipped off down into the bushes.

Heidi climbed out until one of her hands was on the drainpipe, and with the other, she closed her window. She slid down until she was in the bushes next to Kyle.

As she emerged with Kyle, she heard the door open. She quickly shoved Kyle back into the bushes as she came face to face with her mother.

"Oh, hello Heidi." said Nancy Turner.

"Hi mom." Heidi responded quickly, "What's going on?"

"Well I heard a crashing sound outside and I thought I'd check to see what it is."

"I knocked myself into the bushes while I was jogging home." Heidi fibbed. "It's not really a big deal mom really."

"Ok then," smiled Nancy, "Anyways your father is inside doing a work call and I need to go make dinner, why don't you come inside."

"N-no, that's OK mom," smiled Heidi, "Besides I think I left my book bag at the park, I need to go back and get it before it gets stolen."

"Well all right sweetie," responded Nancy, "Just be quick, it's getting dark."

"Thanks mom, bye!" Heidi waved.

Nancy turned and closed the door.

The minute she was gone, Heidi ran to the bushes to check on Kyle, "You good?" she asked.

Kyle spit out a few leaves and said, "Never been better."

At that moment, they noticed a small black cat staring at them. It had bright blue eyes and a yellow collar, and had white spots around it's mouth and inner ears.

"It's a cat." Kyle stared shocked.

"What's that its holding in its hands?" Heidi asked, referring to the small phone it was holding.

Kyle walked forward to take it from the cat, but sensing danger, it turned and ran away from them.

"Hey get back here!" Kyle took off after it with Heidi following quickly behind it.

It led them through a long chase, it bolted down the street as the two children gave chase.

As they hurried through the neighborhood Heidi caught a glimpse of Cartman's house and without warning, a flash of memories flooded her head.

...

"Heidi, does it ever get any easier? Living in this world?"

"The hardest part is not having any followers. I used to go places just to show them where I was."

"You wanna go somewhere? I'll follow you"

...

She screeched to a halt and stared at the house, through the window.

She could see Cartman eating cheesy poofs and screaming at his cat whenever it tries to eat some.

Though she saw him as the same fat sociopath he was, in her heart he was the same boy who used to be her boyfriend.

...

"I'm just glad I have you. At least I know you believe girls are smart."

"You are smart, Heidi."

"And funny too, right? You're always saying how people need to get over that girls are funny."

...

She didn't understand, she left him, she broke up with him, then why were her feelings...why now?

...

"Relationships are 50/50, Eric. We both have to make it work."

"Okay, cool. I'm so happy we're back on track. See you at school tomorrow. Love you honey."

"...I love you too."

...

She hated him with ever bone in her body, because of what he did to her, yet she still felt...

...

"You're messed up, Heidi, and I can't fix you. Only you can do that."

"Eric, I'm so confused."

"That's not going to work on me anymore. Love isn't supposed to hurt. I'm worth something. Goodbye, Heidi."

"Heidi,"

"Heidi?"

"Heidi!?"

...

Heidi was brought back to reality by Kyle's screaming.

"W-what, was I missing?" she cried suddenly.

"Heidi hurry!" cried Kyle, "The cat's getting away!"

"Oh, sorry!" Heidi cried as she bolted forward behind Kyle.

They chased the cat into the town, pushing past people, running through red lights narrowly created accidents until they finally cornered it in a darkened alley.

"It's over, kitty." Kyle demanded. "What's your deal and why are you carrying that thing."

The Cat then walked forward and dropped the phone to their feet. It was as if it led them to the alley.

Kyle picked up the phone and looked at it.

Heidi walked up closer to him, "What does it say?" she asked.

Kyle squinted, "I-I don't know..." He pressed the app on the front and a white light shot out of it blinding Kyle and Heidi.

"..."

".Ky..."

"Ky..l.."

"Ky..le."

"Kyle..."

"Kyle wake up!"

Kyle's eyes shot open and he saw Heidi standing above him, shaking him.

He got up and looked around, they were still in the same alleyway as before but it was different somehow...

The sky above them was red and all around them the buildings and the people were palleted black, white and gray.

"Where the fuck are we?" Kyle started stunned.

"I don't know," Heidi responded. "But we better look around."

The two of them ran towards a passerby and Heidi cried out, "Excuse me sir, but do you.." She reached for their arm but the moment she did, they dissolved and reformed into the appearance of a tall giant green hairy monster with razor sharp claws and boney arms.

Kyle and Heidi screamed.

"RUN!" Kyle screamed

He and Heidi turned around and fled as the monster gave chase.

The monster, despite its sloppy, mindless walk was quick and had picked up their scent.

Kyle screeched to a halt in front of a crowd of people, but then Heidi rammed into him, causing him to collide into those people like dominoes, and then without warning, all the citizens began to dissolve and morph into new monsters.

Before the two knew it. They were surrounded by monsters.

"AAAAHHHHH!" Heidi screamed.

"This is it!" Kyle cried.

They hugged each other in fear when suddenly they heard a crashing noise. A monster in front of them collapsed and dissolved into dust.

Then flashed of color moved around the monsters, knocking them down.

Within a matter of seconds, all the monsters were down. And standing before them were several weirdly costumed teenagers.

The leader (the one in the black coat) extended his hand covered in a red glove towards the cowering children.

"Are you two OK?"
