Chapter 6
Frostkit walked into the apprentices' den inside Stormpaw and Pinepaw were sitting. "Excuse me, where is Rosepaw?" She asked.
"She's in the training clearing with Brackentail." Stormpaw replied. Pinepaw just turned his back on her.
"Thank you!" Frostkit meowed and ran out of the apprentices den. She snuck into the training clearing. "Rosepaw! Come here! I need to talk to you." She whispered.
"Brackentail, It's getting late, we should probably get back to camp." Rosepaw meowed suddenly. "Meet me outside the apprentices den tonight." Rosepaw then hissed into the bushes where Frostkit was hiding. Frostkit knew Rosepaw had heard her, now all she had to do was wait and get the information.
Frostkit waited outside the apprentices den for Rosepaw. 'She should be here soon.' Frostkit thought. Then, she saw Rosepaw walking over to her. "So, what did you need to talk to me about, is there something wrong?" Rosepaw asked.
"I need to know what happened with Pinepaw and our parents!" Frostkit blurted out. Rosepaw looked surprised and then sighed.
"So you heard me talking to Pinepaw yesterday didn't you, well I'm not surprised, I heard someone in the bushes, I should've guessed it was one of you kits. Anyways, I'd better tell you, but not here. Lets go behind the den so no one can hear us." Rosepaw started walking behind the den along with Rosepaw. "So, now I'll tell you about Pinepaw." Rosepaw sighed.
