Six shivered in the cold without her raincoat, her grey, dirty shirt doing nothing to warm her. Despite this, she didn't show signs of complaint. Six didn't want to express emotions and feelings to people she barley knew. She wasn't much of a social person. Mono walked over to Six and held out his hand. Six looked at it for a moment before grabbing it. The two held hands as they explored the ruined building. By now, Five returned with the chittering Nomes and the Twin Chefs. Six felt uncomfortable around them. Sure, they seemed nice now but Six couldn't shake the memory where one almost threw her into the oven back in the Maw. If a Nome hadn't darted between the bulky man's legs, she would've been a baked desert for the Guests served on some fancy plate.

"So," Mono said, trying to start a conversation. "What's your story. I honestly don't know mine. Heh." Six shrugged, not in a talkative mood.

"Anyway," Mono continued. "What was it like being in that cabin in the woods? Where did you get that music box? Did you see the Hunter's face?" Six stayed silent.

"Do you know any of these other-?"

"I don't feel like talking." Six said flatly. Mono nodded and decided to shut up, much to Six's relief. She sometimes hated his friendliness. Hadrian and Ellie pushed on a battered door as it crashed to the ground.

"Weak hinges." Hadrian commented. "Me and Ellie aren't that strong and yet….wow." The group proceeded through a door and where met with a TV, a TV that suddenly sprang to life, casting blinding light across the room. The Nomes seemed unaffected whereas the rest shielded their eyes.

"Holy CRAP, that's bright!" Someone called.

"Somebody turn it off!" Shouted another. Six, through that gaps between her fingers, saw Mono, bent over, stumbling over to the TV but instead of flipping the power switch or going behind to unplug it, he placed his hand on the screen.

Mono didn't know what he was doing. His eyes were closed and even if they were open, he was would be looking at the floor with a bag reducing his vision, yet he knew exactly where to go. Something in the TV was calling him, not like he had a feeling that he needed to go to the TV, no. Something was ACTUALLY calling out to him.

"Boy..." the voice said in a deep, snake-like tone. "Find me...Open the door..." Mono placed a hand on it's smooth screen. Slowly, the TV began to suck him in, throwing him into a long, dark hallway with a massive door at the end.

"Am I seeing things because of the light or DID MONO JUST GET FREAKING SWALLOWED BY THAT TELEVISION SET?!" Twenty Benny shouted in surprise. Six, acting on impulse, ran over and reached out to grab Mono. She expected to be met with glass but her hands melted right through and grabbed onto Mono's coat. Six began to pull as the TV began to suck her in as well. Several other kids ran over and helped. In the end, Mono flew out of the TV and the screen exploded as the boy re-entered reality. Six pulled Mono into a sitting position and stared straight though the eye-holes and into his eyes.

"What WAS that?!" Six asked, failing to suppress the concern in her voice.

"What?" Was Mono's only reply.

"You seriously don't remember being absorbed by that TV?!" Six questioned. She was drawing attention to herself and she didn't like it and yet she felt she had to check on her…...she hated to say it, friend. Mono looked at the TV, then at the glass covered ground and back to Six.

"Never mind." Hadrian said, taking charge once again. "We'll worry about this later. It looks like it is starting to rain and none of us are prepared for it. We could wait here until the storm blows over but this building is falling apart." The boy walked over to a window and pointed towards another building. "We can hunker down in there. C'mon." The group made their way towards the building and made it just before the rain really set in.

A/N: FINALLY got this out there. Phew, that felt like a massive weight has been lifted off of me with a click of a button. Tell me, are you enjoying this? I'd love to hear!
