Notes-sorry for the late update my family went to our beach house where we don't have internet and I write on my laptop that does not work there. feel feel free to review and call out errors. this is extremely au. and on the size of the Longbottom family although none has said anything about it there are families out there that have 19 kids, 23 kids, 28 kids, 39 kids so I'm going to give the wizarding world a large family. the names on the Longbottom children are names from other fanfictions I have read though I can't remember which one as I have read hundreds of fanfictions of the Longbottom family. fanfiction was heavily inspired by being no potter by wilyoldjane so check that out. I have done some research for this fic on cryptic pregnancies and have watched I didn't know I was pregnant so if you're confused about it check that out on youtube.. also beware there is gonna be a lot of info dump about the Longbottom family and Alice's side of the family. and Neville's appearance is being based on the movie Neville. you were warned. enjoy

"come on nev wake up" Christian and the "potter twins" hopped on their foster brother's bed trying to wake him

"ten more minutes" Neville mumbled tiredly. Harriet rolled her eyes at her older foster brother

"ok then we'll just get a cup of water," Harry said in a falsely sweet tone, while he claimed of the bed. these words instantly woke Neville up.

"Don't you dare!" Neville glared at his foster siblings especially Christian who was practically collapsing with laughter. Neville mumbled something along the lines of evil siblings as he finally got up.

they were seven years old now. because Christian was found on the doorsteps of St Marys a few hours old he was thought to be born late at night on February the twenty-ninth [as it was a leap year] or early in the morning March 1st. Harriet, harry and Christian had been living with the Longbottom's for exactly two years today. within the first few weeks, Frank and Alice had crushed the "potter twins" self-doubts caused by their abandonment by their parents. they had restlessly assured them that they wanted them and that they as well as Christian didn't do anything wrong. their foster sibling made them feel welcomed and also assured them that they were wanted. frank and Alice took time off within the first few months that they had been there at uncle moody {the head aurors} suggestion. and during those months they all bonded as a family. the Longbottom's even let Harry and Harriet sleep in their bed when they had nightmares about their parent's abandonment, which was quite often [Christian rarely slept in the Longbottom's bed besides for four or five instances] And Elroy and Augusta had insisted that the children call them grandpa or gramps and grandma or gran.

Christian, Harriet, and Harry loved living with the Longbottom's and loved their foster siblings, though some people thought the Longbottom's were mad for having over a dozen children they loved it, there was always had someone to play with. and it not like the long bottoms couldn't afford it the Longbottom was an extremely wealthy pureblood family [the Weasleys were raising seven kids on Arthurs salary at the ministry so he was pretty sure the Longbottom's could afford it] they Longbottom's had nineteen kids if you include them and were expecting another. which harry, Harriet and Christian were extremely excited for Harriet personally was hoping for another sister as there were five girls not including herself and eleven boys not including Christian and harry, if you did include them then there are Six girls and thirteen boys.

Minerva "Minnie" Pomona Longbottom {named after Alice's two favourite professors} was the first child born to the Longbottom's. she was born New Year's Eve 1974 and was the first of three cryptic pregnancies. when her mother was fourteen and a half and her father was seventeen and was an only child for about two minutes. Minerva had strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes and freckles.

Poppy Longbottom {named after the healer who dealt with Alice's quidditch injuries and in the future deliver most of her younger siblings} Alice had severe abdominal pains all day and they just got worst as the day went on. Alice had thought it had been period cramps. Alice had been wearing one of Franks jumpers and a skirt. her period pains or so she thought were so bad that she went to the bathroom and pulled her skirt up so she could sit on the toilet. she had been screaming from the pain forgetting to put a silencing charm on the room and lock the bathroom which was only a few doors down from her step brother Isaac Fortescue's room where Frank [who was her ex-boyfriend at that time they had just broken up a few weeks prior]], Isaac, Lewis [Alice's Older half-brother on her dads side] and Juliet {Isaac's twin sister and Alice's step sister on her mother's side}, Austin, Daniel, Aiden and Joseph had been hanging out after playing quidditch. The eight of them had been listening to music but could faintly hear screaming so they went to find out what was the cause of the screaming was and found Alice screaming clearly in pain on the toilet. Poppy has Red hair darker than her sisters and bespectacled brown eyes.

Benjamin "ben" Longbottom is the third oldest Longbottom and oldest quadruplet [multiples run in Alice's family] born November 16th, 1975 two hundred and sixteen days before his mother's sixteenth birthday, and two days before his father was eighteenth. Benjamin has brown eyes [inherited from his father] no freckles or beauty marks on his heart-shaped face unlike his mother and straight thin [like his gran Augusta] naturally strawberry blonde hair that went to his ears. Benjamin had inherited his mother's metamorphmagus ability.

joham "jo" Longbottom is the fourth oldest Longbottom and second born of the quadruplets also born November 15, 1975 two hundred and sixteen days before his mother's sixteenth birthday, and two days before father was eighteen. joham had long, thick, straight black hair [inherited on his father's side] a freckled heart-shaped face with a beauty mark under his right eye and bespectacled blue eyes having inherited both his mother's blue eyes and bad eyesight as well as one of her beauty marks and freckles and face shape.

Lucas "Luke" Longbottom is the fifth oldest Longbottom and second youngest of the quadruplets born on November 15th, 1975 two hundred and sixteen days before his mother's sixteenth birthday, and two days before their father turned eighteen. Lucas has bespectacled brown eyes and an oval shape face with a beauty mark above his left eye as well as short and thin, curly blonde hair {having inherited his mother terrible eyesight and curly hair and his hair colour from his grandfather on her side and his brown eyes and face shape from his father and his grand thin hair}

Nathan "Nat" Longbottom is the sixth oldest Longbottom and youngest of the quadruplets born at 12:15 am November 16th, 1975 two hundred and sixteen days before his mother's sixteenth birthday, and the day before his father turned eighteen. he had bespectacled brown eyes like his brother Lucas as well as a few freckles on his heart-shaped face [but nowhere near as many freckles as Lucas] and straight, short, thin blonde hair { he inherited his father's eye colour and grand thin hair on his father's side and on his mother's side he inherited his face shape, freckles, hair colour, and bad eye sight]

they were fraternal quadruplets. Quadruplets were about to start their second year at Hogwarts all having been sorted into different houses Benjamin was sorted into Gryffindor like his parents and uncle Rhys [one of his many uncles[ were years before him, joham was sorted into Ravenclaw like his aunt Dianne, Lucas was sorted into Slytherin like their aunt Isabella and Nathan was sorted into Hufflepuff like their uncle Lenard. they all also seemed to have inherited their fathers, as Alice puts it insufferable height.

Alan "al" Longbottom is the seventh oldest Longbottom born December 13th, 1976, [same year as Percy Weasley his second cousin} 1 year and 27 days after his older brothers, when his father had recently turned nineteen and had entered Auror training and his mother was nearly sixteen and a half. he had brown eyes no freckles or beauty marks like his father and had a heart-shaped face with frizzy deep red hair that came from mum's, mum's side of the family the prewetts. his thick red hair went down to his shoulders. Alan had just started his first year at Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor like Benjamin.

Alexander "Alex/ lex" Longbottom was the next born Longbottom and the eight oldest children. born June 1st, 1977 born around six months after his brother Alan, Alice had been around 25 weeks pregnant when there was an explosion in Hogsmeade, and they had to do an emergency c-section to save the baby. his mother was nearly seventeen when he was born, and his father was about nineteen and a half. he had his mother's heart-shaped face and thick red curly hair that went to his collar bone, bespectacled brown eyes, and freckles, he also has a birthmark on the side of his left leg underneath the knee facing inwards towards his other leg.

Ewan "EJ" Longbottom is the ninth born around nine months after his brother on February 8th, 1978 {same year as the Weasley twins} around six weeks premature. his mother was just over seventeen and a half and his father was twenty. Ewan has blue eyes, an oval-shaped face with freckles, and short and thick wavy dark brown hair. having inherited his mother's blue eyes, freckles, and thick hair as well as his father's oval face and hair colour and type. he also inherited his mother's metamorphmagus abilities.

Algernon "Algie" Longbottom is the tenth born Longbottom and was born December 24th, 1978, {same year as the Weasley twins} ten months and sixteen days after his brother Ej. his mother had been eighteen and a half when she had him, his father had been twenty-one. Algie was the second of three of the cryptic pregnancies Alice had {a cryptic pregnancy is when women are not aware of the fact, they are pregnant until the last weeks of pregnancy or in some cases till they give birth. he was born unexpectedly really late Christmas eve in the bathtub at Longbottom manor. Alice didn't know she was pregnant until she was in labour, it had been late at night and the children were asleep, Alice had been having real bad stomach aches that keep her awake so she went and slept in one of the spare bedrooms because she hadn't wanted to keep frank up eventually she decided to hope in the bath in the spare room's bathroom. the pain started to get worst again, when the cramps became more frequent the mother of seven at the time had realized what was going on and cast a silencing charm and despite the fear and pain, Alice had mange to manoeuvre herself into a passion to deliver less than five minutes later Alice could feel the baby's {algies} head. as his head emerged she became aware of a dangerous and potentially fatal complication, the umbilical cord had been tangled around the back of his head so Alice had to disentangle the cord before it strangled him so gently slide around the back of his neck. she managed to push the rest of him out and get him above the water. Algie has blue eyes and glasses, an oval face a few freckles, and a birthmark on his right arm in the shape of a star and frizzy, as well as thick light brown medium length hair.

Neville "Nev" Longbottom was the eleventh born Longbottom child born July 30th, 1980. [the same year as Ron and the triplets] nineteen months after his older brother Algie. Neville was born when his mother was twenty and his father was around 22 and a half. Neville had thin straight brown hair and eyes and an oval-shaped face. Neville was the spitting image of his father having inherited most of his father's characteristics.

Clementine "Clemmie" Longbottom was the twelfth Longbottom child born and the second girl and the third of the three cryptic pregnancies Alice had. Her mother had recently turned twenty-two a couple of months prior and her father was a few months away from being twenty-five. she was born on august 24th 1982, just over two years after Neville. clementine has an oval face blue eyes and glasses as well as freckles all over her face curly thin brown hair that goes down to her shoulders.

Nigel Longbottom was the thirteenth child born to Frank and Alice Longbottom and the older twin brother to Noah Longbottom the fourteenth born Longbottom child. they're identical twins. they were born on March 5th, 1984, when their mother was a few months away from being twenty-four and their father was twenty-six as well as one and a half years after their older sister Clemmie. They have oval-shaped faces, dark brown eyes, freckles all over their faces, and a beauty mark above their left {Nathan} and right {Nigel} eyes. The twins have thick curly red hair.

Amber Longbottom was the oldest of the triplets, and overall sixthteenth Child born to the Longbottom's. Born May 7th, 1985 when their mum was nearly twenty-five and their father was 27 and a half just over a year after their older twin brothers. amber has light brown eyes no freckles, a heart-shaped face, and straight red hair.

Jade Longbottom was the fourth girl born overall and the middle triplet and overall sixthteenth child. Also born on May 7th, 1985 when their mum was nearly twenty-five and their father was 27 and a half just over a year after their older twin brothers. Jade had light brown eyes, red wavy hair, a limited number of freckles, a heart shape face.

Ruby Longbottom is the youngest triplet and the seventeenth and last Longbottom child born {as of right now}. Also born May 7th, 1985 when their mum was nearly twenty-five and their father was 27 and a half just over a year after their older twin brothers. Ruby is the spitting image of her mother she has curly red hair, blue eyes, and lots of freckles as well as glasses. she also inherited her mother's metamorphmagus abilities.

unlike Harry and Harriet that had emerald green eyes, both wore glasses and had jet black hair and had brown skin { that doesn't sound racist does if it does let me know how to fix it} Christian actually looked like he was a part of the family like he could actually be frank and Alice's son with his straight red hair and blue eyes with freckles as well as a beauty mark on the left of his forehead.

"Come on nev, mum and dad want to see us" Harriet stated. the children had begun to call Alice and frank mum and dad shortly after they had taken them in

Together the four seven-year-olds went to Alice's study. everyone else was already their Alice, frank, Augusta, Elroy, and all of their foster siblings minus the quads and Alan who were at Hogwarts. Alice's study was a big room with the walls practically all lined with books shelves on everything from extremely advanced dark arts to wizarding law and customs. near the only window on the giant desk, there were five vials two green vials, and three purple vials of potion.

their Father Lord Longbottom gestured to the three seats in between him and Alice while Alice calls Neville over two sits at the free seat at her left. the seven-year-olds shared a worried look they sat down Neville on Alice's left, Harriet on her right, Harry in the middle, and Christian next to frank. this was unusual something was going on. Harriet was sure of it and looking at her brother she could tell he had a similar feeling.

"morning Christian, harry and Harriet" Augusta greeted the children "you're not in trouble don't worry," she said a tad amused seeing the worried expressions on the children's wondered what kind of prank they pulled this time around. "you've done nothing wrong."

"Harriet, Harrison, and Christian, three of the potions are adoption potions containing a drop of blood from both frank and Alice, it will make them your parents by blood. Would you like that" the "the potter twins" nodded they'd wish for that for years even before their parents abandoned them frank and Alice had always been more of a mother and father to them than their biological look thrilled at the thought of having them as his parents by blood.

"Why now dad," Clementine asked speaking up from her position on brother lex's lap." why not two years ago when they arrived here" The three children looked up, also wanting to know why they were not adopted earlier

"it's an old wizarding law if a child is given up by their parents and then taken in by one or both of their godparents. the parents can claim the child back daughters can be claimed in one year and sons within two years. today the two years are up to its officially legal to adopt you, Harry." Frank answered Harry nodded while Harriet shuddered at the thought of being forced to go back to the potters.

"As for you Christian and Harriet, we could have adopted you when we got you Christian and Harriet could have been adopted last year, but we didn't want Harry to feel left out, I hope you understand that," Alice said to the boy sitting beside her husband and the girl on her right. they both nodded they would have felt awful if that had been adopted and harry still had to wait 1/2 years.

"One more thing with the adoption you can be given a new name, would you like that and if so, would you want to choose one yourself or do you want us to choose one for you." They thought awhile.

"I'd like you to choose a new name for me" Harry answered. Frank nodded having hoped for this

"Me too" Harriet answered

"Christian," He asked looking at the boy staring at the floor

"Sister Anna told me that when they found me on the doorstep of the orphanage a couple of hours old there was a note. it said my name was Christian and they should take care of me. I can't explain it, but I want to keep it.

"That's ok, Christian" Augusta stated smiling

Harriet, Harry, and Christian gulped the moment the three of them began to shake, and then their bodies started to change.

Harry's skin whitened and tanned his jet-black hair tamed and turned dark brown, his emerald green eyes turned brown and he grew taller and he gained freckles lots of them, he's scar still stayed and so did his terrible eyesight.

Harriet's skin whitened and did not tan, her jet-black hair turning light brown and curling. her eyes turned blue and she gained freckles like harry. she also grew a bit taller and she no longer needed her glasses.

Christian's straight red hair curled, he gained freckles and his eyes stayed the same as well as the beauty mark and he grew taller. when the transfiguration finished Augusta stood up.

"Welcome to the family Genevieve Willow, Elijah Alastor, and Christian Caleb Longbottom"

After the children recovered Augusta turned to Genevieve "Vivi" and Elijah "Eli". "Now that you two have recovered we offer you A severing potion if you want. a severing potion will severe your ties to house potter but only if you want it to, this potion is only known to the Longbottom and moody families as we were the ones to create it all you needed to do is put a drop of blood in the vials and then it will bond you to house Longbottom.

Vivi and Eli looked at each other and then nodded

Augusta handed them both the two vials

"Let's do it," They both said
