Clearly I felt like I was on a roll after CH5 because here we are with CH6 an hour later! It's on the short side, but that's fine, just enjoy!

Bella nodded to herself. That was officially the last of her stuff packed. She didn't have too much, but it was enough that she was glad she didn't have to carry it all for long.

Her first thought had been that she would fly home, but such a small flight just didn't make sense to her. Of course, she would have driven home, but she'd opted to leave her truck at home. Charlie had assured her that he'd keep on using it so it wouldn't seize up and die when she was home from lack of love, so that left her with few options.

Luckily for her, she'd received an email from Alice of all people that simply said "Your ride home is arranged. Be at the West gates at 11:30. Don't be late!"

Naturally, the second Bella saw an email from Alice, her heart stopped. She immediately feared that something had happened. Perhaps that Victoria had hurt someone, maybe Charlie, or that something terrible was going to happen if she came home, so that was actually nice. She hadn't wanted to ask and of the Cullens for a ride home, but clearly Alice knew what was going to happen, so Bella just rolled with the punches at this point.

So, ten minutes later, that's where Bella stood.

For fifteen minutes, she stood and watched traffic, not once recognising any of the cars until eventually, the one she least expected rolled past. "Emmett?" She muttered as a Jeep Wrangler slowed to a stop just a few feet to the side of her.

In spite of her friendship with Emmett, she was surprised to say the least. It was a relief though. The familiar thrum of his engine made her feel like she was already home.

Then, however, her heart sank. This wasn't Emmett's car.

Oh shit. In fact, she'd approached a random Wrangler.

Before she could embarrassedly scramble away though, the driver's door swung open to reveal non other than the very woman whom she was still having sex dreams about. Oh god. "Uh, hey?" Came her voice, confused as she looked down from her seat to where Bella was awkwardly standing.

Surely this isn't what Alice had seen? "Hi!" Bella yelped, silently cursing herself and wincing at her voice. "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else." She added, quickly turning on her feet.

"It's okay!" Came the loud, chuckling voice, following her as she retreated a few feet and turned away with her bags, her face flushed red.

Bella checked the time. 11:30.

Fuck.

She was either furious or mildly turned on and she didn't know which, but she knew that both were ridiculous. Had she really dreamed about this woman so much that simple proximity had sent heat to her loins? Yes. Yes she had. What was worse though, did this mean that Alice knew?

Oh god, she cringed hard at that thought.

A few minutes passed an the Wrangler didn't move. In fact, it was parked up on the curb. What was she doing? "You know," Came a familiar voice. "I know you didn't ask, but if you're waiting on a cab, South is best. They're all parked up there."

Bella nodded awkwardly, finally turning to see that the woman with whom she was officially obsessed was sitting in the grass about ten feet away, looking directly into her soul with those damn eyes. "I-uh. My ride. I'm waiting for a friend." Was she? She didn't know. She closed her eyes and groaned. "I mean, I think I am. She hasn't messaged me all day and I think she's forgotten." While that wasn't the truth, she couldn't exactly say that her psychic sister-in-law-to-be had told her that she needed to wait there for a ride.

"Well, where are you headed?" There it was. That must have been what Alice had seem.

Shit. Bella mentally apologised to Alice. "Oh, uh, Washington." She couldn't accept an offer of a ride if it came, could she?

"What? No way! Okay, I'm going through Washington. If you want a ride, it's all yours." This was so different to Edward's assertive 'get in' when they drove anywhere.

Sighing, she shook her head gently. "I'm good." She lied. "I mean, thank you, though. I just- she might still come, you know?" There it was.

Had Alice actually told Bella exactly what to expect, perhaps things would have gone differently, but this? She still wasn't completely sure that this was what Alice was referring to.

The woman nodded and smiled in reply before her phone chimed. "Ah, fuck." She hissed at it, typing furiously before stuffing it back into her pocket. "You sure?" She asked once more. "That was my sister saying she's staying for the holidays, so I have plenty of room."

Without thinking about it, Bella shook her head with an ingenuine smile. She wanted so badly to get into the car with her, but she was too nervous. "I'm good." She assured the other woman, feeling her stomach sinking a little. She reminded herself though that this was Becca's girlfriend. That did, however, leave the question: who was her sister?

With a nod and an awkward smile, the woman and the Wrangler were gone within the minute, leaving Bella to sit awkwardly on the grass with her bags.

Part of her felt stupid for saying no, but the rest of her knew that she couldn't possibly share a car ride with someone she'd been dreaming about for months, someone she'd thrown up on, too. No, she didn't know what she'd be able to do, but that wasn't it.

Then, like magic, her phone buzzed.

After wrestling it from her pocket, she saw the notification. An email from Alice.

Upon opening it, she saw what Alice had to say.

"SAY YES"

Say yes? Yes to what?

Traffic roared around her, then silenced. "Okay, I felt bad and circled around. No hard feelings if you say no, but that ride's still there if you want it." She looked up and there she was.

Say yes.

Sooooo, did Bella say "yes" or not?

Please review, it makes my heart happy!
