Chapter 5: What is Neptune's secret?
Neptune and Stacey walked side by side through the halls, Neptune couldn't get tired of seeing the brown walls for the day would rise when her people would live above ground. " Slime Heart" said Stacey rubbing her cheek a bit nervously, she wore her usual outfit but this time she had been wearing some glasses. She knew Stacey didn't need any glasses so why the sudden change. "Yeah Stace?" asked Neptune holding her hands behind her head as they walked. "I um was wondering if you really wanted to go through with your plans to attack Planeptune.." said Stacey.
Neptune kept her eyes locked on Stacey as if she were expecting her to say it was a joke of some sort. "Yeah, we won't do anything without a good reason, seeing as we don't want Planeptune to attack us first, it's best if we go out and get them right where it hurts." she finished with a sly grin on her face, Stacey knew Neptune well and gave slight sigh of relief after hearing her answer. "Good, it's just I've been hearing rumors from the blue doogoos group that you used to be their goddess there.." said Stacey. "I can see why you'd be concerned for me Stacey but it's fine." said Neptune.
Stacey looked ahead she saw a light brown door coming up and a purple mat outside it that read 'Do not disturb, meditation in progress'. "We'll have to come back later Lady S-" Neptune gave three knocks "I'm coming in!" Neptune announced walking in the room, Stacey's eyes were agap she wasn't expecting for Neptune to just ignore the mat like that. "L-Lady Slime Heart!" Stacey concerned went in after her, this caused a few dogoos who were outside their homes to look in their direction. "Was that...Lady Slime Heart?" "I wonder if Staria's in trouble"
"Stacey is so lucky she gets to be with Lady Slime Heart whenever she wants." said the Doogoos. Neptune looked around the room, she noticed the walls were dark brown, meaning Staria must have applied dried mud on top of it to style her room to her liking. There was a single bed in the center of the room along with a dresser, a wardrobe which sat next to it, a broken mirror and some covers. "Whoa Staria's room is pretty fancy!" said Neptune looking around in glee. "Yes it is, although yours is much fancier Lady Slime Heart." Stacey assured her as she looked around the room.
"Where's Staria, the mat says she was meditating." said Neptune checking under her bed, Stacey too was at loss for where she could be. "I don't see her." replied Stacey checking her closet. 'Neptune, a-' Neptune swiftly turned around grabbing an invisible lance. Stacey turned around too swiftly putting her hand on her sword. 'Staria, it's me Stacey, this is Lady-" "How about you stop clocking yourself and come on out" said Neptune with a grin on her face "Otherwise I'll have to use a bit of force on ya hehe" finshed Neptune. Stacey looked as the lance became visible.
Neptune and Stacey looked as a girl with purple skin who stood at 4'2', she had purple skin with light purple eyes, she wore an all black dress that had white linings going through them with some heels, her hair had been a dark purple with white tips, her boobs looked like a B-12. "Lady Slime Heart, apologies for the attack but you did intrude in my room." said Staria, her voice sounded stern and a bit angry. Stacey moved her hand away from her sword as Staria dropped her lance on the floor. "You have some nerve speaking to Lady Slime Heart like that, apologize once more" said Stacey crossing her arms.
Staria ignored Stacey's comment, blinks and stares at Neptune from head to toe. "You're much shorter than I thought you'd be. Are you even a goddess?" asked Staria ptting her hands on her hips, Neptune let out an awkward laugh. "I get that all the time, yes I am a goddess. And I think you better apologize, I won't be taking that tone from just about anyone." said Neptune crossing her arms, nodding her head. Staria softened her gaze at Neptune, looking the other way in shame. "I'm..sorry..Mother it won't happen again." said Staria still looking the other way. Stacey's eyes widened from this. "That's fine sweety," said Neptune, sure she might have birthed all the purple doogoos they didn't see her as a mother but savior, but Staria had been the only one she had by choice and thus the only one who acknowledged her as mom and not Lady Slime Heart.
