Amity was pretty nervous, Camila said they should go shopping today and get them new clothes and other stuff. Amity put on an old pair of sweatpants and an old, oversized shirt. She looked at the sneakers she brought with her and decided to just borrow a pair of Luz's vans. Her sneakers had holes in them and were oversized. She only brought them because they were in a rush. She knocked on Luz's door and the young witch opened it.
"Hi, Amity! What can I do for you?"
"D-d-do you happen to have a pair of shoes I could borrow?" Amity asked.
"Sure! Just a second!"
Amity was curious, what could Luz's nightmare have been in order to make this... overly optimistic girl, become so scared? Before she knew it, Luz handed her a pair of plain white vans.
"Here you go, you can keep them." Luz said, handing Amity a pink marker, "And if you want to customize them, I think pink is definitely your color."
(Quick question, what is the actual shade that Amity wears? I know it's a pinkish-purple color, but I don't know the actual color.)
Amity took them and slipped the shoes on. Luz grabbed a long, dark brown, stick with a tiny Bald Eagle on the top. Luz grabbed Amity's wrist and pulled her to the front door, where Amity's siblings and Luz's moms were. In Eda's hand, was her typical staff that Amity remembered from the day before. Camila had her own, with a black falcon on top of it.
"Ready to go?" Camila asked.
She received nods and they each get on a staff. Edric was with Eda, Emira was with Camila, and Amity was with Luz, causing the twins to snicker. They fly off and land in front of... what the Blight's assumed was the witch version of a mall.
"Now, let's try not to cause any problems... Edalyn." Camila said, looking right at Eda.
"I still don't see the problem." Eda said.
"You got kicked out of here, three times."
"So?"
"Let me try this again. You, Eda Clawthorne, got kicked out... of the Clawthorne Mall."
"Fine, fine. No problems from me. Okay?"
They went into the mall and brought them to a store called "Abominations". Amity quickly realized that this was a witch version of Hot Topic.
"This was my favorite place to go when I went through my Goth Phase, last year." Luz said, "My parents weren't too thrilled about me dying my hair, though. I got a bit chewed out for that."
Amity's mind started wondering when Luz mentioned her Goth Phase. She started blushing when she had the image of a Goth Luz managed to make its way to her mind.
"Ooh, I think you'll look good in this!" Luz said, handing Amity several articles of clothing.
"Luz, why don't you take her to the changing room while your mama and I help the twins?" Eda said.
Luz pushed Amity to the changing room.
"Try them on, I want to see how pretty you are in them!" Luz said.
Amity blushed and walked inside the room. She closed the door and leaned against it; her face so red it could hide next to a barn. Luz, meanwhile, was outside the room, having a similar experience. She knows the rooms are soundproof so she started berating herself.
"What is wrong with you?!" She whispered loudly, "Why would you call her pretty?! She'll definitely know about your feelings, now!"
Luz stopped when the door opened.
"Uh, Luz?" Luz looked at the open door, "H-h-how do I look?"
Luz saw Amity, and felt like she would pass out from the Goddess in front of her. Amity was in a short black dress, with pinkish-purple leggings, and a small necklace with a jewel that was the same color as her leggings.
"You look... wow." Luz said.
"I-I-is that a good wow?" Amity asked with a chuckle, "I don't think these shoe's work with this, though."
"W-w-well, we can fix that problem. We'll take you to the shoe store later." Luz said, "S-s-so, do you like them?"
"Yeah, I think this look good."
They spend the next few hours looking for clothes, shoes, and bathroom items. Emira and Edric got similar looking clothes. Emira got burgundy tunic with a green gem in the center of her chest and a belt around the waist and black shoes, along with a dark gray undershirt and shorts. Edric got a dark gray shirt and a burgundy tunic, without a gem, with a belt around the waist, dark gray pants and black boots. Amity found a pair of black heels with a gold crescent moon on them and decided to get a few pairs. While Luz and Amity waited, Luz painted Amity's nail's and they swapped earrings, Luz getting Amity's round ones, while Amity got Luz's triangle one's.
"Luz, darling, there's a few things we still need to get for the twins. Why don't you and Amity go to the food court? We'll meet you there." Eda said.
"Okay. Come on, Amity, let's go get some food."
Nice wholesome fun. Yes, Eda and Camila own the mall, it was something they worked hard for and started before Belos was overthrown and before Camila became the Leader of the Healing Coven. They made a lot of money from it before their fortune tripled, when Camila became a government worker. I really could explain this better, but this is all your getting.
