A/N: This is a little shorter chapter. I am working on Chapter 11 and have an Idea for 1-2 more. If anyone can think of anything (I haven't done already), I will gladly see what I can do to make it into a story. Thanks for all the reviews and favorites!

Sam held the four tickets in her hand, frustrated. It was no longer a team weekend. Teal'c and Daniel both had to go with other SG teams for various issues on other planets, leaving Jack and Sam the only ones able to go. After discussing it with Jack, they invited Janet and Cassie. It wasn't the same, but Sam enjoyed it. She was surprised by how knowledgeable Jack was about some of the artwork on display. Janet had enjoyed looking at the pieces, and Cassie had picked out a favorite but wasn't overly involved. They had a good time, but it wasn't the team outing. Sam suddenly felt as though she needed to make it up to Daniel and Teal'c; besides that is how it all started; to annoy Jack and expose Teal'c more to Earth culture.

Sam laid in her bed thinking of ideas, SG-1 was off duty next weekend, and she was trying to think of somewhere to go with the guys, something Teal'c would be interested in. Then she remembered he was quite intrigued by photography. There had been photography lessons advertised all the time. She didn't want to take week-long classes, just some basics. She looked online for a Saturday class and booked it for the four of them, and digital cameras were included.

Sam had told the guys a few days later to be ready for Saturday and gave the address to meet at. Jack had picked up Teal'c from the base and met Daniel and Sam in downtown Colorado Springs.

She walked them into a nondescript building; there were about 8 other people stood in a medium-size room with tables and chairs. A projector set up at the front of the room. . When Jack was given a camera, he looked over at her, and then the guy standing at the front had welcomed them to Photography 101. Jack glared at her for only a second. He didn't mind taking pictures, but it wasn't an interest to him. Teal'c was instantly listening, touching the buttons focusing on spots on the wall as instructed. Jack found himself zooming in on parts of Sam that he had no business zooming in on. Daniel had caught him red-handed and slapped him hard on the arm.

"I didn't press the button." He mumbled.

The group was set free in the city, they weren't far from the park, and their job was to take pictures of architecture, nature, a portrait, and something that interested them. They could take as many pictures as they wanted, and they would be critiqued on how to do it better. They were supposed to try and use every setting on the camera, and unless it was a mistake, such as taking a picture while walking, they were not supposed to delete anything even if it didn't look good. Sam and Teal'c followed directions to a T. Jack constantly deleted things that looked bad, and Daniel found himself taking 10 pictures of the same thing and only keeping 2-3 of the best ones. Teal'c seemed to really enjoy the day, pointing out things he would take a picture of. Instead of asking one of his teammates for the portrait, he asks someone in the class who seemed to be just as devoted as he was to the course.

When they all went back to the studio, the man quickly went through the photos on each person's SD cards. He pulled about 5-6 from each one, and about 30 minutes later, he put each one up on a projector.

He didn't call out anyone for the photos and seemed to pick equally good and bad pictures. He discussed natural lighting and angles. One of the features on the camera was black and white, and he discussed when the best time to use the camera settings was. He used the portrait Jack had taken of Sam. She blushed, seeing her face on the screen.

"This was the best portrait example for this class and one of the best I've seen in a long time. The focus is on her, not the objects around her, the sun is giving her natural lighting, and her eyes are very expressive. Pictures aren't all about just pointing your camera at something, and it has to mean something as well." The man claimed.

Sam blushed again as the man took another picture, this time of Daniel's, and said what it needed work on. The examples of Teal'c's were highly praised, and he admitted to the team he had been reading up on photography, and apparently, he had put the lessons to good use because other than a few tiny things, there was nothing but praise for his photos.

Daniel had some excellent pictures, but his examples were more of what not to do. His saving grace was the pictures he had taken of some buildings and a picture of a tree in the park. Jack's photos were in the middle of the road except for the image of Sam. Sam had gotten more good comments than bad. Overall they had gained a new skill, and Sam had thought it would help them all when taking pictures of objects off-world.

The class was only a few hours, and Teal'c didn't want to give up the digital camera. Sam smiled at him and suggested they go shopping for one. Sam was sure to write down the make and model of the ones used today, the teacher claiming they were a mid-range camera and perfect for a beginner.

The group set out to find the make and model, and after a few electronic shops, they found one. Teal'c rarely used the currency given to him as pay and was able to afford the camera, case, various lenses, and a computer and photo editing software.

Teal'c was eager to take new pictures and look at them on display taking several shots before being satisfied.

Jack rolled his eyes multiple times, but Sam was excited to see Teal'c pick up a hobby.

It was almost dinner time when they pulled into Sam's house. She wasn't sure how her home had been the place to go, but she didn't question it. It was days like these that she had wished would go by slowly. Teal'c took pictures all over her house and of various objects questioning more about things in her home than he ever had before.

Sam had talked about the china on display. She discussed using a label maker and answered a few questions about her movie collection as Teal'c snapped a picture of each. Sam realized now Jack would be following Teal'c around his whole house, and she knew there were some memories Jack would prefer not dredge up.

Teal'c finally called it a day with the camera's SD card full, claiming he would have to go through the pictures later. Sam had decided to order Thai food. Jack always gave her a look but seemed to devour whatever she had ordered from the place. She wasn't sure what he had against it, but Daniel gave Sam a knowing look when she suggested it.

Soon enough, the group had found their spots around her living room, and she popped in the movie Rocky after Teal'c told her he had yet to see it.

Sam closed her eyes to the familiar voices. She couldn't say it was her favorite movie, but she had seen it enough to close her eyes and visualize the scenes. It wasn't until Daniel had paused the video and passed out the food she realized she had drifted off. No one said anything about it, and the group ate while the movie continued.

Sam, Daniel, and Jack had all shared off each other's plates. They learned quickly that Teal'c was uninterested in sharing food with them unless it was a need out in the field; otherwise, his food belonged to him and him alone.

After the movie was over, it wasn't too late in the day, and it was an awkward time of night, so Jack suggested poker. He knew it was an excuse not to go home.

They had all in their own ways admitted in their own ways they were all lonely. They all found themselves lingering on the base. Daniel was the first to admit that he was obsessing over the past when he was at home. If he didn't keep busy, he found himself digging a hole deeper and deeper of what-ifs. Sam had claimed that this was the first home she ever owned, and she wasn't used to the quiet. She lived in DC and was used to the city noises that she doesn't hear anymore. She didn't have a neighbor that she knew, and the house gets lonely. Jack hadn't really said much. It was more of his actions trying to get them to stay later, cooking on the grill every chance he got, inviting them to go with him to the cabin when they had to time off.

Teal'c flat out admitted he missed his son. He stated he knew he was on Earth for the fight to free the Jaffa, but that didn't mean he couldn't miss his family as well. He was a lot older than them and set in his way. Although he didn't think Earth was terrible, it just wasn't home. They all longed for companionship.

Sam couldn't help but count the cards, so they never played for money. Jack and Daniel had only made a mistake once before, and Daniel was pretty sure he still owed payments. Jack had reached in Sam's fridge for a non-existent 6 pack of beer.

"Carter!" Jack said, annoyed.

"Sorry, sir, if you want alcohol, the only thing currently in the house is wine and vodka," Sam stated.

"You're serious?" Jack stated.

"Yes, sir," Sam claimed.

Jack couldn't stand vodka, he had drunk way too much over the years, and wine wasn't exactly his forte, but Sam was already opening the bottle and pulling the stemware.

Sam had poured Teal'c a glass, learning he liked the taste despite not getting the feel of the alcohol. Jack must not have known Teal'c had enjoyed wine and looked surprised as Tealc's large hands grabbed the tiny stem of the glass.

By the time the poker game had ended, Sam had poured the whole bottle plus a second one, and they were still sipping on it as they had admitted it was getting late. They all realized they were too drunk to drive except Teal'c, so they would be staying at Sam's house. There were drawers of Daniel Jack's and Tealc's clothing in the spare bedroom of her home. She had clothing at Jack's and an outfit at Daniel's as well, just in case. They had all known the outcome of the night. Teal'c had walked over to the sofa taking off the bottom cushions pulling out the bed for Daniel. Jack had gone to the spare room as Daniel helped Sam clean up. Jack came back out, and Daniel went into the extra room. Then Teal'c.

Sam wasn't sure why but she just didn't feel like going to sleep. Daniel was practically asleep by the time Sam had brought him a blanket. Jack had said goodnight and shut the spare room door leaving Teal'c and Sam sitting alone in her kitchen.

"Does something bother you, Samantha Carter?" Teal'c asked.

"I don't know, just don't want to go to sleep right yet," Sam claimed.

Teal'c nodded.

"Do you have bad dreams?" Teal'c asked.

Sam gave him a sad smiled, "Sometimes, but that's not it. I'm just not ready for sleep." Sam claimed.

Teal'c simply nodded.

"I hope you enjoyed your day," Sam claimed.

"I appreciate that Daniel Jackson, Colonel O'neill, and yourself have taken me to see popular earth culture," Teal'c claimed.

Sam smiled. "What would you like to do next?" Sam asked.

"I want to see the happiest place on Earth," Teal'c claimed.

Sam looked at him oddly.

"Where is that Teal'c?" Sam asked

"Disney World according to several of your websites," Teal'c claimed.

Sam smiled

"That's just a phrase. It's not really true," Sam claimed.

"I still am curious to see why people make these comments," Teal'c claimed

"Well, I will see what I can do, Teal'c. We should go when it's slower, maybe in the spring or the fall." Sam claimed.

He nodded once again, and Sam decided on that note to go to sleep, wondering how on Earth she would talk Jack and Daniel into going to Disney.

She opened her laptop quickly, wondering if Disney World or Disneyland would be best. She knew it would be more practical to go to California, but if Disney World was what Teal'c wanted, that was what he was going to get. Sam's eyes slightly bulged at the ticket prices and wondered if that's why Mark had disagreed with her buying Disneyland tickets for the group of them to go.

She couldn't imagine the look on Jack's face when he saw what they were into. Sam knew that she would be researching a whole lot before this trip happened. She had to get Daniel on board as well. She didn't think that would be too hard, but it was a lot of money once again. So she quickly looked at the list of rides and movies that Teal'c would have to watch to understand all of what Disney had to offer.

Sam woke up early the following day and went to her kitchen Teal'c the only one awake, agreed to help her in the kitchen. She had eggs that were still in date, and sausage as well as a pepper and onion blend in the freezer, deciding to make a giant pan of scrambled eggs. She made some toast and pulled out the butter. She thought for sure the smell of food wafting through the house would wake Jack and Daniel up, but they were still out, and the food was done. Sam looked at the clock. It was nearing 9 am.

"I'll get the Colonel if you get Daniel," Sam stated.

Teal'c bowed slightly and went to the living room.

Sam knocked slightly on the door just in case Jack was up, but after a minute, she heard no movements.

She walked in to see him asleep. The light pouring through the window, he was lying on his side.

Sam had called at his name again, but nothing. She knew better than to touch him, and he could easily lash out.

Finally, she said his name. "Jack, breakfast is ready."

Jack's eyes opened. He was confused for a second.
"Sam?" Jack asked.

"Hey, breakfast is ready. It's getting cold," Sam claimed. He looked at her and nodded his head, and Sam walked out of the spare room.

Jack was utterly confused, wondering if he was in a dream still then, realized he felt his body warm from the blankets and the pain in his knee from keeping it bent too long and remembered the day before. He stood up and stretched, scrubbing his face and using the tiny bathroom in the bedroom before coming out.

Everyone else was at the table, and Sam passed the toast and butter to him. No one said much, and Teal'c didn't bring up Disney, which Sam was thankful for. The group happily ate in silence before the guys got dressed and went home for what was left of the weekend.
