The Trade Alliance has declared war against the Republic on grounds that the Imperial Accords were violated when an Anti-midichlorian was fired against planet Lyd. The Republic has lost its main project of Anti-midichlorian technology, Skyblazer, which has been destroyed by a spy force of the Trade Alliance. With dwindling support of the Republic Senators, Chancellor Gyné Amidala is holding back a siege in Coruscant.
ACT I.- The Deception of Amidala
"Time for revelations has come, young rebels," says the leader of the House of Plagueis. "Anakin Skywalker, The Chosen One, is a creation from our house." The three rescued rebels from planet Lyd are in an audience with Darth Plagueis. Surrounding Plagueis' ship there are many more vessels. A fleet enough for a siege… for attacking and conquering Coruscant.
"Should we stop this?" Poe asks. "It just doesn't seem OK to have the chance of another rising Empire. Who cares about Skywalker now?" Reason goes with Poe's words. But he is akin to a prisoner of war. Plagueis simply goes on talking. "The danger doesn't lie with Bane's wish to create an Empire," Darth Plagueis answers. "You should be worried about his new toy, the fake Vader."
"Why create Anakin?" Rey asks. Plagueis smiles. "My father knew many things, like Bane's ancestors who designed the Exagul fortress," he explains. "His apprentice, Lord Sidious, the former Emperor, was bound to betray his master. This was foreseen, as his demise, the creation of The Chosen One. Complete your training, and the purpose for which your master was created, Rey."
A session of the Sith Council is called once again, the rebels witness it alongside Darth Sidious. "Behold, my fellow Lords, the treacherous nature of Lord Plagueis," Bane says. "He has rescued the rebels who wished to stop us from rediscovering Exagul!" The Council keeps silent. "Need I remind you who got the economic and political support from the Republic for your little venture?" Lord Plagueis asks. "You barely understand the depth of your fortress, and you are letting a Force Ghost toy with it! You are truly doomed!"
THE MOTION IS DENIED.
The Sith Council has spoken. So do citizens of Coruscant speak, as they trash the streets, killing each other for food. "Our planet has become no man's land!" Chancellor Amidala complaints. "Our city is bound to be invaded by the Sith, and the Senators have allied with them!" She hits the table. A witty man in a hood sits across the table. "You should have thought twice before shooting a mass destruction weapon," Luke replies. "But what other purpose do I have apart from defeating the Dark Side?"
ACT II.- Stormtrooper Recall initiative
Of course, the flexing of muscles would not end in Bane's favour without a fight. Finn, who stands idly by Rey, suddenly tries to use the Force to choke Lord Plagueis. His irises have gone blank, as his mind. Plagueis simply laughs. "A remote control Jedi," Plagueis laughs. "Shall I use you to play a movie?" Apparently, Plagueis' physique is quite different to that of a regular humanoid. A mystery to be solved, perhaps?
"What is going on?" Rey asks. Poe pats her in the back. "Order One, full submission to the Republic and its Chancellor," he explains. Rey pities Finn's past as a stormtrooper. He is now floating still in the air. Such is the extent of knowledge of the Force of Lord Plagueis. Rey tries to use the Force to speak to Finn's heart. "Break the illusion!" she thinks. Her thoughts are now echoing in Finn's mind, which is jammed by the Stormtrooper command. "Use the Force to set yourself free from your past," Rey insists.
And suddenly, Finn's eyes go back to normal. "They are coming!" he warns. "They are all subject to Order One! Whatever maneuver you have planned, it won't work easily now!" Finn understands that his best chance is to cooperate. "Take a ship of mine, and flee," Lord Plagueis says. "And don't try to intervene now. Three rebels don't suffice to take Exagul down." And so, the three rebels fly away from the scene. "No saving Coruscant?" Finn asks. "Have you been paying attention to anything?" Poe says. "The siege is a mere formality, Coruscant has already been severed from the Republic. We need to create an army of our own!"
The Sith Council is summoned once again. "The Chancellor is about to strike back!" Lord Plagueis warns. "If you want to claim the Republic for you, it's high time you took her head and placed it on a spike!" Bane gets infuriated, but the false Vader stops him. "He is correct," Vader says. "The Stormtroopers cannot rebel, and must comply with Order One. Let's claim the Republic for us, while they withhold the Republic Central Fleet." Bane screams in disgust. He doesn't like to be pushed around, and commanded by Plagueis. "When the time comes, kill him!" Bane says to Vader.
YES, MY LORD.
And the mechanical breath of the fake Vader, is contrasted by a human sigh. A woman's voice comes through Luke Skywalker's device. "I warned you…" she says. Such a phrase would only come from someone who knows Luke so well to stay away from him when he goes badly astray. Such a woman bears the name of Mara Jade, a Jedi Knight who dismisses the idea of a Jedi Order that serves the Republic, or any political institution, to be honest.
The weather of Coruscant is now rainy, with droid and Sith precipitation. The land invasion has started, and Luke and his padawans take out their lightsabers. It's gone to shoot first, ask questions later. Luke's first round is against his former padawan, Jaylan Rax, who let Rey drift him to the Dark Side. "With all this power, I can't disappoint you anymore, Master," Jaylan says. "I will bring peace to the Galaxy."
Luke doesn't even answer. He simply uses the Force to throw Jaylen's lightsaber away. His padawan has considerably weakened, and Luke proves it by simply cutting his hands. "Show me your power now," Luke jokes. But no answer comes from Jaylan. Someone has shot first. Luke takes the time to put down the eyelids of his former padawan, as his body is surrendered to the Force. It's by that time that Luke falls to the doom of sensing the future, and the fall of Chancellor Amidala by Bane's hand.
MY PADAWAN'S FLEE AT ONCE FROM CORUSCANT, AND REGROUP AT NABOO! YOUR FIGHT HAS MERELY STARTED!
In contrast, someone is hitting her head. "What is it?" Finn asks. "I can't see it anymore," Rey answers, quite troubled. "The future is gone!" A strong flow of the Force is felt around them. "As you near Balance to the Force, you lose vision of the future," Anakin says without materializing around the Rebels. "A side effect of not being anxious anymore. Have you thought of a destination for regrouping?"
YES, MASTER.
ACT III.- Fall of Coruscant
The main course is served. Bane and Vader are awaited by one Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker. The lightsabers are turned on, three colours: green, red and black. "You should have gone for a more discrete lightsaber, Ben!" Luke says. "Your flashiness is all my father had left behind when he joined the Dark Side!" Indeed, Kylo's moves - the fake Vader's moves - are flashier than Vader's ones.
But there's a third party in that fight. One that would love to kill Luke, but respects him enough not to kill but let himself be defeated. Bane goes all front to Luke, who uses the Force to push him away. And Bane flops, he magnifies Luke's push and lets himself fall into the abyss. Suddenly, Luke has lost all will to fight, and Kylo senses it. "You have seen Bane's victory, haven't you?" he asks Luke.
Master Skywalker falls on his knees, and turns his lightsaber off. "Do it," Luke says. "I will not concede to the Dark Side." Out of respect, the fake Vader fulfills Luke's last wish, who dies a Jedi knight before letting the vision of the fall of the Republic consume him. Simultaneously, Bane storms into Chancellor Amidala's office, who also turns her blue lightsaber on. As a padawan who wishes to die honourably, she cuts her belly with her own blade. And she cries out of the pain, for she wants to have full control of her fate, even if it's doomed.
I WILL RAISE A STATUE IN YOUR HONOR, CHANCELLOR AMIDALA.
The foundation of the Second Galactic Empire, headed by Emperor Bane is now underway. In the moment in which the Stormtroopers have put the Sith Fleet to a corner, the Republic Central Fleet jumps to somewhere else. So do the few padawans who managed to escape the Siege of Coruscant. A full victory of the Dark Side, and a Galaxy reunited in peace and doom again. But for an imminent Rebellion...
A peaceful woman practices her art on planet Dagobah. She has decided it's best to lead a peaceful life as a hermit. That is until a Stormtrooper appears before her. "Are you Mara Jade Skywalker?" he asks. The hermit Jedi decides it's best to stop hanging upside-down, and talk to the soldier with proper manners. "You have been appointed as the new Chancellor of the Republic," he says. "We expect your orders."
Mara Jade looks at the soldier. "You, and your people are all officially dismissed from service from now to eternity," she says. "Enjoy your time as free men, you have earned it." The Stormtrooper bows and leaves. Mara Jade turns to her back quite angry. "You look as if you have seen a Ghost," a man says. "Yes, it's YOU!" she says starkly. "I warned you! From now on, the Jedi Order is banned from institutionally engaging in military conflicts! That's my decree!" Luke sighs. He's chosen the proper destiny for his padawans.
A bunch of beaten Jedi padawans wander hopelessly around Naboo Plaza. They have been checked and their wish is to abandon the match. That is until a grey queen gently touches the shoulder of one of the padawans. "Do you follow Luke Skywalker?" she asks. "We are actively looking for soldiers to the Rebellion, please consider joining us." The gray queen has two bishops for the light and dark squares. They are no more than Rey, Poe and Finn.
