Amy got up extra early that day, it was her free day today and she finished all of her homework from Rowena and Salazar. Yesterday's classes were not too hard for her and she was quite adept in charms but average in Arithmancy and Ancient Runes. She mastered Lumos and Alohomora wandlessly but the best was spell craft which was extremely fascinating but also very complex. They were going to break basic spells in different layers to study them before making or editing her own spells.

She put on some of Muggle clothes not wanting to wear anything formal. Her mom had taught Harry and Amy a lot about Muggle culture and Amy loved Muggle literature. She put on a pair of overalls with a simple red tee and her white sneakers. She had her little grim in her hand and her necklace and ring. She went down to the study where Sirius was ready in his Auror Uniform.

"Sirius I need to go see the Headmaster. I need his help for something very important but I can't tell you."

Amy had her serious no-nonsense face on and was completely ready with everything on. It was adorable when Amy tried to act like an adult but being 3 feet tall it was hard to take her seriously.

"Ok Amy I need to leave but I will floo you there but be back before lunch. And Severus will be at Hogwarts to. You guys won't be able to meet him after the term starts so pay him a visit but is this actually serious because the headmaster is a busy person."

Amy looked offended and she nodded.

"Albus, Amy needs to talk to you about something important can she come through?"

"Of course, come through ."

Amy stepped through the floo and into the Headmaster's office. She pulled out the box in which the locket was secured and put it on the table.

"Headmaster I believe you are the only one who can help me. The day before yesterday I talked to Kreacher and the Black family elves. I assume you know about Regulus Black?"

"Yes, I do but why are we talking about him. I always assumed Sirius and Regulus weren't on speaking terms and he died during the war."

"Headmaster Regulus Black sacrificed his life to fight against Voldemort. He and Kreacher went to a cave where he drank a poison that made him vulnerable and the inferi got him. Kreacher came back with the evil locket and I promised to destroy the locket. I thought you could help me destroy it."

Dumbledore's eyes were going wider with each of her statements. So it was true Voldemort had created a Horcrux or maybe more than one. Dumbledore had been suspecting this for a long time and his suspicions were usually true. Dumbledore never really paid too much mind to Amethyst Potter it was no doubt that she was a talented kid, but Harry was special now that he saw the child has more to her than meets the eye. Looking at her perfect decorum and polite way to talk was not something an average four-year-old had. He would have to pay attention to her.

"Amethyst may I see the locket?"

She handed the locket to the headmaster and he opened the box. The air became tense and the locket reeked with dark magic. It was a horcrux, this answered many questions. Why Severus' dark mark hadn't vanished?How was he alive after a killing curse?How much did Tom Riddle change?

"Amy this locket is horrible magic and I can't explain the dangers of knowing the knowledge you do. I must ask something of you, are you familiar with Memory Locks? They are not going to wipe your memory entirely but just lock it until the right time."

Amy tensed up, her family trusted the headmaster so she did and came here for his help but someone messing with her brain seemed wrong. Salazar said that a mind should never be breached but she needed to help Kreacher and she couldn't do it alone.

"Headmaster are you allowed to obliviate somebody who is not yet 17?"

"I am not wiping your memory but putting the memory on a lock and when you are old enough you will be given the key. I will not be able to read your mind or anything of that sort I assure you. I have the means to destroy the locket but for me to do it you will have to willingly submit to the lock."

She thought about Kreacher and how happy he would be if the locket destroyed and she agreed.

The memory lock was in place and Amy would only remember the locket being destroyed and would give it to Kreacher's tale and would give the destroyed locket to Kreacher but other than that she wouldn't remember the word horcrux or their conversation until she gets the password, "Fawkes is a phoenix trills and blossoms".

"Kreacher!"

With a pop the elf came to existence and with a smile Amy handed the box to the elf. Kreacher opened the box and gasped and went hysterical. Amy tried to decipher the words from the sobs and was somewhat successful. Overall the emotion was gratefulness. She hugged the little elf who was shorter than her by a few inches.

"It's ok Kreacher I think you should wear the locket. Regulus would be proud of you so very proud of you. "

"Thank-sob-you Miss Am-sob- etyhste. Kreacher will never be able to repay you. All those years I was so mean to young Miss but young Miss helps Kreacher and the house elves." Amy was blushing at the comments and her hair turned into hot pink. She was also crying tears of happiness with the old elf.

That day the house elves taught Amy how to make basic desserts and she helped bake chocolate-chip cookies. Amy wrote a letter to Harry about Black Manor but she couldn't put down the secret and her magic judged him untrustworthy maybe because he was only four. She couldn't write it to Charlie either so probably.

Next day

It was finally time for her class with Helga. Helga was undoubtably her favourite of the four and she would also be learning Magical Creatures!

Amy tapped the portrait that she brought to the Manor greenhouse and said, "Helga Hufflepuff!" Helga appeared on the portrait with a warm smile.

"Herbology is closely connected to other strands of magic, most notably potions and Care of Magical Creatures which you seem to enjoy the most. When I left Hogwarts I left 5 greenhouses there with various plants for the school. Herbology is a magical subject but is more hands on than other subjects. Rowena had made sure that we are updated on newly discovered Magics so I see that transfiguration has been added to your future curriculum. I also know that your godfather is quite adept at the subject so he will be teaching you that. Ok let's get started, I want you to name 10 different plants and their healing abilities and I want you to repot the growing plants."

Amy nodded and she named 10 plants around the greenhouse and she explained the healing properties. For homework all she had to do was explain how Herbology was connected to her favourite subjects.

Care of Magical Creatures was not as exciting as Amy would have hoped for but it was still fun. Helga and Amy got into an argument on whether the shell of a blast ended skrewt is better or dragon hide. Amy won with a beautiful comment on how dragon hide was more commonly used and the shell of a skrewt was unmoldable BECAUSE it is magic repellent.

Wards were really easy and Amy learned how to sense silencing wards and break them in one session leaving Helga speechless.

Today she learned diagnostic charms for magical maladies and cores. In the end she was left with a lot of homework from Helga. Amy fell asleep wondering about Hogwarts.

A/N: This chapter is very short but I couldn't add the next chapter to it. Next chapter Amy's blood ritual, heirship and The Burrow also she is five and yes I skipped a year but sorry I want to get to Hogwarts.
