This chapter has more language than usual.
Batman leapt over rooftops, trying to find criminals. He knew they were out there.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the orange and black man. He didn't make a move, and instead kept running.
Then he saw the man move, and pulled a fucking glock out of his back pocket, shooting him in the face. The man fell to the ground, and Batman walked up to him.
"WHO ARE YOU!?" he roared.
"I - I'm - " he started, but Batman grabbed him by the neck and shot him multiple times. "ANSWER ME!"
But it was too late. The man was dead.
"FUCK YOU, BEEOTCH!" he roared.
Then he heard laughter. It sounded like a clown.
He dropped the body and looked around. Suddenly, a crowbar hit the back of his head. He fell to the ground, and saw a clown in a purple suit and green hair. "HEYA BATSY!" he shrieked, hitting him again.
Batman grabbed the crowbar, and shot him again and again. Suddenly, the man pulled off his face. It was a mask.
Now he was staring at a fish with a yellow face, white underbelly, and a green and blue pattern. "WHASSUP, MAN?" he said. He pulled out a gun and said "Now die."
Then a bullet hit the back of his head, and he flopped to the ground. The person holding the gun was a baby in a suit. "Hello, Batman."
"Who the fuck are you?" Batman asked.
"I'm the boss," the baby said, pocketing the gun. "Now, we must get out of here."
He held out his hand, and Batman took it. Suddenly, the baby grew up into an orange-haired man who was dancing. There was a song playing.
"Never gonna give you up, never gonna - "
Batman shot a grappling hook at him, and threw him off the roof.
Suddenly, his chest felt weird. He looked at it, and his heart was blue. Then he was thrown to the ground. And then to the side. And then up. Then back down. He flew backwards, and was turned around. There was a short skeleton in a blue jacket, pink slippers, and black sweatpants. His left hand and eye were blue.
"Geeeeeet DUNKED ON!" the skeleton said, throwing him around. Then, he vanished in an explosion of smoke.
He slowly looked up, and saw a red … creature standing in front of him.
"Do you know da way?" it said, staring at him with its stupid eyes.
He shot it, and it flopped to the ground.
Then he heard a rumbling noise, and the ground underneath him flew up into the air with him on it. It wasn't ground … it was a shell!
"Well, what do we have here?" said a voice coming from it. It was a crab! The shell was very shiny.
"What? Distracted by my shininess?"
Before he could answer, he was picked up by a pincer and thrown to the ground. He was then picked up and thrown into the air, only to be caught again and thrown against the wall. He got up, and saw a green creature with two eyes coming out of a round head/body staring at him.
He frowned, and then heard someone say "Wow!"
He turned around, and saw a man with a giant blue head with a machine with a small head floating around in it. "Minion, would you look at this place? It looks amazing!"
Batman threw the green creature at them and then felt a sharp pain in his back. He looked around, and saw a man in red and black holding a gun. "April fools!" he said gleefully before shooting him.
