Ebony: Stanley, let me make something clear here… I've told you before and I won't say it again. I'm not interested in doing some pathetic and idiotic interview with you or what you call that piece of shit newspaper company the Rapture Tribune. My answer is still no.

Stanley Poole: Oh come on doc… You could become the center of attention down here and even make some real money too.

Ebony: I'm not here to give you my goddamn life's story Stanley nor am I interested in being the center of attention or wanting any money period.

Stanley Poole: Okay fine, but how about we talk about how you built and brought Song to life then hmmm? I'm sure the people around Rapture would love to know and how you brought the mechanical dragon to life yes?

Ebony: Oh I'm sure they would love to know has to how I built and brought Song to life. Listen Stanley, the press and the people don't need to know a damn thing as to how I built, designed, or even how I brought Song to life. That bit of personal information is staying with me here and now and until I'm dead and gone. Get the picture now, Stanley?!

Stanley Poole: But… But you're the one who invited me in here in the first place!

Ebony: Who says I invited you here Stanley? I'm pretty sure if I invited someone here they would have at least warned me about them coming or not. Instead they used the oldest trick in the book by blackmailing, bribing or making up stories and narratives of their own free and corrupt way to get past one's own security guards, in this case being my own security guards of my lab.

Stanley Poole: Boy, know no wonder people call you being smart and being able to read and unravel people's plans and motives. You really figured me out huh, Ebony?

Ebony: It doesn't take an idiot to figure that one out, Stanley! I knew you would use bribing or blackmailing my security guards to get past them so you could come and talk to me. You're as easy to read like an open book being opened for its first time. But I'm not doing this interview Stanley, now get out before I lose my temper and mind.

Stanley Poole: Are you really sure you want me to leave, Ebony? I might just have a story and information that might peek your interest?

Ebony: I hardly doubt you have any real information that would peek my interest Stanley. Now, get the hell out of my laboratory Stanley! Before I send you out myself personal?!

Stanley Poole: But its real good information though?

Ebony: Does it look like I care Stanley.

Stanley Poole: Well, no not really. But it's really good though, just hear it out please?

Ebony: Hmm fine, speak your mind Stanley and be quick about it.

Stanley Poole: Well you won't believe this, but somebody from the surface managed to find his way to Rapture and is here too. He has become a bit of a celebrity here in Rapture and the people and the press have started to call him Johnny Topside. Isn't that wonderful information Ebony or not?

Ebony: Oh Stanley, you'll still such a kid.

Stanley Poole: Huh, what's that supposed to mean exactly?

Ebony: Don't make me repeat myself Stanley, but I think I should tell you something. If you want to hear it and still want that interview with me that is?

Stanley Poole: Yes…Yes of course I still want that interview. Now tell me what it is you want to tell me.

Ebony: Very well, seeing how you're so interested in what I have to say. I've already met and talked with Johnny Topside who you, the press, and the people like to call him. I've met the man and I have to say he's a decent and good human being to talk too with.

Stanley Poole: You… You-You… You son of a bitch?! You-you…

Ebony: Played you like a fiddle Stanley. I was waiting and waiting for you to play your trump card and you did exactly as I thought you would do. You reporters and press always try to bribe or always play you're so called trump cards to get whatever little information, stories, or interviews of people like me or others for your newspapers so you can get paid and be the center of attention.

Stanley Poole: You bastard!

Ebony: Call me all the names you want, Stanley. But you know that I'm right.

(Laboratory doors hiss open as two security guards walk in and grab Stanley Poole by his arms and start dragging him away.)

Stanley Poole: I'll-I'll… I'll make sure you will pay for this Ebony! I'll-I'll make sure…

(The laboratory doors then hissed closed as Stanley Poole's yells and screams became more silent and silent as the security guards drag him away from the labs.)

Ebony: Me pay for what Stanley?! Who are Rapture's people really gonna believe more, you Stanley a double-crosser who reports people into Ryan like you did with Johnny Topside and then they sudden disappear into the night or I who speaks the truth with honestly and hope in his words.

(Ebony then looks down at his feet and sighs softly and sadly to himself.)

Ebony: I'm sorry I couldn't do more for you my friend. Johnny, I'm so sorry.

Author's Note: It's been awhile since I did an authors note at the bottom of my posted up chapters. As many of my readers and fellow authors/writers have just finished reading the new chapter here. Yes, Ebony and Johnny Topside aka (Subject Delta) knew each other and became friends before Johnny was turned into the Alpha series big daddy we know and love, Subject Delta, but more of their friendship will be explained more in the up coming chapters of this story.

This chapter was also meant to explain Ebony's feelings of hostility and anger towards Stanley Poole, the person who actually turned and reported in Johnny Topside to Andrew Ryan. This actually happens in the story of BioShock 2 and its lore as well.
