(A.N. I know I've already posted a heap for this story considering I only started it yesterday, but it's given me a huge burst of energy to be writing and my mind is running with ideas for it, so I'm just uploading them otherwise it'll drive me insane. This is becoming one of my favourites to write. Let me know what you think and if you're enjoying it :) )

Gabriella and Olivia were waiting in the room now that they were in Albuquerque, knowing that at any moment, Olivia's parents would walk through the door. "How are you feeling Livie, are you excited to meet your mom and dad?"

"I'm nervous."

"I know Sweet Girl, but it's ok because they're gonna love you and so will your brothers."

The little girl went to speak but a male officer entered the room. "Hi girls, I'm Nathaniel. I just came in to tell you that Mrs Lowsen is outside with Lucille and Jack. I just wanted you to know in advance so you could prepare yourselves" He bent down to Olivia's level. "Mrs Lowsen is very nice and she's gonna take very good care of you. Is it alright if they come in" Olivia looked to Gabriella who nodded so Nathaniel went outside to get the adults. Both the girls stood as they entered the room.

As soon as they entered, Lucille and Jack ran to their daughter and hugged her tight, relieved to have her back in their arms. The embrace did not have the same effect on Olivia. She turned her head to Gabriella and tried to reach for her desperately, crying out. "BRIA."

The junior intervened as Jack and Lucille let go of the little girl concerned, watching as she ran to the teen. Gabriella kneeled in front of her, placing a hand on her cheek. "It's alright Livie, it's ok. Your mom and dad are excited to see you, that's all. Just breathe for me ok?" The 7-year-old nodded and took a few deep breaths before hugging her sister. The older girl lifted her up, holding her tightly as she spoke to the concerned parents. "I'm sorry about that, she got a bit bullied at her old school so whenever she's surrounded, she feels claustrophobic. She'll be ok."

Lucille smiled sadly. "She's very comfortable with you, what's your name sweetheart?"

"I'm Gabriella, I'm her sister - I mean um we - we were raised as sisters."

Jack spoke up. "How did you know that your parents kidnapped Lilly?"

"I was doing a research assignment on abuse and child abduction for school. I came across the missing child poster and the photos matched so I went to the police." The teen looked down. "I didn't know he kidnapped her, I would've done something sooner if -"

Mrs Lowsen spoke up. "Gabriella, you can't blame yourself, you were a nine-year-old girl when they brought Lilly home, you couldn't have known better." She turned her attention to the parents. "They also kidnapped Gabriella at a similar age to Lilliana."

"Gabriella," She lifted her eyes to Lucille's voice. "I'm sorry that you had to go through it too."

"Thank you Mrs Bolton." She shifted Olivia to get her attention. "How about we try this again? Do you want to go give your mom and dad a hug?" The little girl shook her head and buried it in Gabriella's neck. She kissed the top of her head and whispered. "Please go give them a hug Baby, they missed you much, you can come straight back to me after."

"Ok." Olivia timidly walked up to Lucille and gave her a hug before doing the same to Jack. The relief was clear on their faces as they hugged the little girl and they tried to hide the sadness as she immediately went back to her sister.

"Your brother are gonna be so happy to see you Lilly, Troy's your big brother and he's around Gabriella's age and Jacob's your twin brother." She nodded slowly and Jack was somewhat disappointed by the response but smiled slightly as Lucille grabbed his hand.

A phone ring interrupted the room, Mrs Lowsen immediately answering. "Lowsen office... Yes that's my current case... Yes she's sitting right here... I see... Ok then... I'll tell her, thank you for letting me know... Take care." She turned to the 16-year-old. "Gabriella, I'm afraid I have some bad news. The reason we have been unable to contact your parents is because they both died in a car accident a year ago. I'm so sorry."

Gabriella looked down silently. "So what happens now? What happens to me?"

"Well Lilliana will go home with her parents and you'll be placed in foster care or an orphanage until you're 18, I'm sorry to break the news to you like this, but I want you to be fully aware of what's going to happen."

Olivia looked at the woman with tear-filled eyes. "No, I'm staying with Bria."

Gabriella tried to calm her down. "You get to go home with your mommy and daddy and meet your brothers."

She shook her head. "No, I'm staying with you, I'm staying with you."

Gabriella hugged her tightly and rubbed her back, whispering reassurances despite barely being able to hold her own emotions together.

Lucille made a split second decision and spoke up. "What if she came with us?" Everyone looked at her quizically. "Is there anyway for us to take guardianship of Gabriella."

"Guardianship doesn't exactly work in this situation as her parents have passed and the people who kidnapped her are in custody - not that they mean anything in this situation. The only way this would be possible would be through fostering or adopting. Through fostering, you'd receive an allowance each month until adoptive parents are found or you could skip straight to the adoption, you wouldn't receive an allowance but she would be yours."

Jack looked to his wife. "Lucille, this is not a decision to be made on a whim. You have to consider how this affects us, our life and the boys."

"Jack, this young girl saved our daughter and put everything on the line for that, I will not let her be placed in the system."

"How are we going to provide for four kids on our wages, I'm a gym teacher and you're a receptionist."

"We have plenty to provide for them if we cut down on spoiling the boys as much as we normally do... We are getting our daughter back Honey, that's all we've ever wanted but the only way she will ever feel comfortable with us is if she has Gabriella with her, so I'm willing to do anything to make the happen." Jack nodded, silently agreeing to Lucille making the decision. "Mrs Lowsen, we'd like to adopt Gabriella."

Gabriella spoke up. "Mrs Bolton, you really don't have to do this. No one wants to adopt a teenager, especially not a 16-year-old. At least with fostering, you'd get an allowance and I wouldn't feel like I'm living off you both and making your lives more difficult."

Lucille sighed. "Very well then, we'll foster you, if that's what you want."

Olivia spoke up. "Does that mean I get to stay with Bria?"

Lucille smiled, this moment having been the first time her daughter has spoken to her since she was two years old. "It sure does Sweetheart."

"Thank you."

They filled out the paperwork and Mrs Lowsen spoke. "Congratulations Mr and Mrs Bolton, you are now foster parents to Miss Gabriella Montez and I'm glad to see that you are reunited with your Lilliana." They thanked the woman and went on their way back to their new home for Lilliana to meet her brothers.
