Chapter 5
Destiny awaits
Ignitus's point of view
Seeing the two who are alive, Ignitor and Splendora is going to be happy that they're alive.
"So, I'm actually here to help Spyro saving the world huh?" She asked.
I smiled at her, but didn't answer her question, I gave her a silent nod instead. I also realized that the problems going around might be too dangerous
"It's too late... just too late..." I said to myself out loud.
"Too late for what? How do you know her name? Who are you? I know Alanna told me that I'm a dragon. Are you one too?" He asked me questions.
"Yes, I am one as well," I told them.
"I can tell there are others as well, right?" She asked.
My answer is "Yes, there were others, prophecies have spoken of a hybrid and a purple dragon whom saves both worlds from utter darkness. In desperation, a hybrid's soul was created by the first queen of Hybridnia."
I pointed towards Alanna's chest to see a small glow of purple glowing under her shirt.
"Wait... should my aunt and uncle know about this?" She asked.
"Who?" I asked.
"My aunt and uncle from my adoptive family, they only took care of me when my adoptive parents neglected me for the others." She answered.
"Hmmm... I'm sure they should know-" I started then I was cut off by a sound of ringing.
"Crap, I forgot to turn down my phone's volume, and it's auntie." She said. "Auntie Topanga? Alright just don't talk too loud otherwise something could find us."
"Alanna, where are you? How do you have wifi? Oh, your eye, my bad..." Said the voice on the other side.
"Well, remember when I told you two that I had crazy visions and hallucinations, well they turned out to be true. At least I'm safe from uncle's brother and the rest of the extras entitles." She told her.
"Are you okay though? Are you hurt?" She asked in a worried voice.
"I'm ok, but I'm not going back for my sixteenth birthday, I know it's important but you know how every holiday or my birthday goes." She told her.
"Is there a way for us to get to you quickly?" She asked.
"There is a way, but it's a bit of a risk." I answered for Alanna.
"Who else is there?" Asked a different voice.
"To tell you, dragons are real in the world I'm in, just get a backpack ready, where are you at?" She asked her.
"My brother's house, he's really mad." He replied.
"Well get to your house get a bag ready and I'll create a portal to here." She told them.
"Alright." He said. "We'll see you soon."
Her phone ended and she placed it back into her pocket, then she struggles to reach her back.
"Ow- okay I got a strange itch on my back can someone help me please?" Alanna asked.
"Alright, you two stay put while I help your friend out." I said.
"But she's not our-" The dragonfly called out.
"Sparx, just get used to her being around." The other said.
"Good thing this shirt is a xl, I'm pulling the back of my shirt down to the itch." Alanna said.
She did and I saw four strange bumps on her back, it took me a moment to scratch them but it worked. Two pairs of wings then popped out.
"Whoa-" She yelped, as her wings shifted. "Holy crap, I got wings."
And yet she was right, one pair of wings from her mother the other from her father, I remembered the words played in my head.
*-flashback plays-*
Nearly fifteen years ago...
"I heard your child is a goddess," I said to Splendora.
"She is one, she'll help her cousins saving both worlds, the one that my brother's son grew up in and the one from Olivia." She replied.
"There's another?" I asked.
"Yes, I heard rumors that he's born, I know we'll meet again..." She replied.
"What would happen if they meet?" I asked another question.
"Who?" She asked.
"Ignitor and Darkri's son meeting you and Sendor's daughter. They won't know that they're related." I said to her.
"I indeed know. I also know you've been friends with my brothers for years ever since they were young." She told me. "I'm sure you can tell them the truth when your ready, and when they're ready."
*-flashback ended-*
"Uh, are you okay? You've been staring into space for thirty minutes." Alanna asked.
"I'm fine," Then I sighed and said. "You're right on your question earlier though Alanna, since the sight of you both, I see that you're both ready for training."
"This I got to see," Alanna said. "Oh, and these two are Spyro and Sparx, I can mind read... apparently..."
I lead them towards the temple, while they fought enemies to clear the path. I closed my eyes for a moment in front of the first door, I opened my eyes and turned back towards them.
Alanna's point of view
"Doors are locked I'm guessing." I said.
"Cynder's forces must've knocked out the other two statues out of place." He told us.
"What other two statues?" Spyro asked.
"There's two on the other side of the door, all four of them has to help open the door, its locked if they're out of place." I explained. "There has to be another way in..."
"There is, there's a small tunnel that animals use." He told us.
"On it," I said starting to look around.
Then I found something that look suspicious to me.
"Hey Spyro, that fire of yours should help." I said.
After that we went through the cave dealt with the shroom spiders, frog-weeds, and a few apes, then we got to a hole.
"Oh no... not the hole from Tomska..." I moaned out a joke.
"Eh, when in doubt break it right?" Sparx asked. "Go nuts."
Then we broke the vines from the hole and landed safely into the room with the shroom spiders, which was easily beaten. We saw Ignitus walking into the other room from behind the door.
"Any trouble?" He asked.
"A little insect trouble, nothing we couldn't handle." Spyro answered.
"A little insect trouble, my tail section..." Sparx mumbled.
We walked towards the door and Ignitus stopped, in front of the next door.
"The past is prelude, tomorrow a dim promise. Allow us entrance, do not reject us." He said out loud.
Spyro raised a brow at me.
"I guess it's a password." I told him. "I don't know how I know these things."
"It should open for us... but there's a disturbance." He said. "My fears have realized, they've also desecrated the interior as well..."
"Looks like we have more of the temple to clear up." I said.
"And you're right, but we have to do this the old fashioned way, find every statue you both can find and put them in place." He replied.
"I think I see our way in, but it won't be pretty." I said. "I think I can jump that high."
Then I ran towards the wall where the cave was and jumped, grabbed the ledge of the wall and kicked myself backwards into a flip and landed with both feet on the ground above them. I know I didn't really get to see much of movies or tv shows but I learn something from the ones I'm interested in.
"Ok, Spyro I'll pull you up." I said as I laid myself don on the ground with my hand out.
Ignitus got close to the wall and helped Spyro up, Spyro grabbed my hand and I pulled him up. Once that was done, then I got up.
"Be careful you two, Cynder's forces are surely be on their way." He called up to us.
"We'll be ok, I'm just more worried about you." I said.
Then we walked into the cave as I got my sword out and ready, and we charged at the enemies who were waiting for us.
