Alex and Olivia for the next three weeks managed to find themselves texting each other quite often. Even when Alex was in bed with Amanda under the same roof they continued to text each other. Amanda could easily roll over and go to sleep after sex while Alex's head was always racing. Olivia generally came home between three and four depending on how her shift at the bar would go.
Olivia walked into the apartment one morning around four fifteen. She was exhausted as she unbuttoned her vest. She caught Alex standing at her door with a piece of paper in her hand. She spent all night flirting with girls and now she can be around the one she craves. "What's you got there?" She tried to sound as casual as possible. She looked at Alex up and down seeing she was ready to go to practice.
Alex jumped at the sudden sound of Olivia being near her. Her mouth watered as she noticed Olivia's being unbuttoned and seeing no trace of a bra on the tan skin. She fought the urge to stare at Olivia's defined abs. She quickly looked in the brown eyes. "I was going to write you a note." She lifted the piece of paper.
Olivia gave Alex the smirk that made her entire body crazy. Olivia's pointer and index finger gently slid the note out of Alex's hand. "Meet me at my rink today to take me to your spot." Olivia laughed knowing this was exactly how she pictured Alex's handwriting, graceful and dotted her I's with a heart. She drew a smiley face next to her name. "You could have just texted this to me." She stated the obvious.
Alex didn't know where to look at her friend. Every inch of her body made Alex want to touch herself. She was leaning against Olivia's door and looked at the wall. "Fine." She began to take back the note, "I'll just text you."
Olivia refused to let go of the note. "No, you can't take it back and I think it's cute." Olivia locked eyes once again. She stepped in front of Alex. There were inches away from them. Olivia smirked as she could hear Alex gulp with small heavy breaths. Alex's entire body was frozen as she could smell Olivia's natural odor. Olivia then opened up her door to her bedroom. She entered her room while breaking the trance. "Sorry girl's gotta sleep." She kept the note.
"You're right." Alex had to look down to fix her head. "So can you take me there or not?"
Olivia looked over to her alarm clock. "Don't you have practice?" Olivia avoided the subject.
Alex has yet to see the inside of Olivia's room. She scanned the room to figure out what every girl Alex has heard with Liv seen but not her. "You know for a photographer you don't have many pictures hanging on your walls." She observed the cold walls. Olivia rolled her eyes at Alex who wasn't leaving to go train. She walked further into her room as she flung the vest across the room. Alex couldn't look away from the smooth back. She watch the muscles flex as Olivia stretched out her back. Olivia's muscles worked as she put on her a white tank top. Olivia turned around as she let the white cloth fall on her chest past her stomach. Alex laughed on the inside seeing the small rainbow butterfly tattoo above Olivia's rib. "Any particular reason?" Alex swallowed out.
Olivia ran her fingers through hair to mess it up, "No." Olivia shrugged her shoulders, she didn't want the women she bedded to know anything about her. She watched the skater trying to find something to talk about from her room. "Let me guess." She gravitated towards the blonde. "You have a poster of Michelle Kwan in your room and all your medals hanging up."
Alex raised her brow, "How do you know it's Michelle Kwan?" She protested even though Olivia was right. She idolized Michelle since she was a young child. "And my trophies are out on display in the living room." Alex lifted her chin knowing that it's her own apartment she has paid for all on her own.
"But I'm right?" Olivia zoned in on the pink lips. Alex watched Olivia's lips move closer. Alex couldn't get words out forcing her head to nod. Olivia was tired and her willpower to not take her best friend's girl toy to bed was getting hard to find. "What time am I picking you up?"
Alex's lips were magnets to lips inching closer and closer. "Twelve or one. Will you have enough sleep? Will that be okay?" Alex asked the brunette.
"Don't worry about me and my sleep." She chuckled, "I'm not the one performing death stunts on blade."
"I've got plenty of sleep." Alex's phone chimed knowing that she needs to leave. "That's my coach." She once again had to break the trance. She lifted her body off of the door.
"Alex," Olivia softly stated.
"Yeah?"
Olivia's hand held Alex's neck. So gently as if she was going to get a massage. Olivia leaned into Alex's ear. Alex softly cried out as chills shot down her body and causing her eyes to meet the back of her head. "I will always take a note from you over a text message." She whispered in her ear. Olivia was intoxicated by the smell of Alex's hair. "Any day." She pulled her head away from the blonde.
Alex and Olivia's eyes connected once again. Alex was holding on to Olivia's grip. Alex didn't want to leave this moment. She felt completely safe staring into Olivia's beautiful brown eyes. Olivia slowly began to pull back her hand. She could feel Alex's heart pounding as she slid her hand that was intertwined with Alex's hand across the pale chest. Alex's phone went off once more. "I've got to go." Alex whispered.
Olivia nodded, "See you later, skater." They slowly released their grip as Alex had to walk through the front door. Olivia leaned her back against the door, to hear Alex close the door. "Shit" She exhaled forgetting how to breathe.
She quickly grabbed her phone to call the girl who gave her number. She needed to get her rocks off. "Harper?" She remembered that Harper Anderson was a tall blonde blue eyed girl that could be a surrogate to who she wanted to have sex with. But she wouldn't be her best friend's girl. "Yeah. I'll see you in ten minutes."
Olivia walked into the skating rink at twelve. She was drinking an extra large coffee. She was wearing jeans, a fitted tee, and her leather jacket. Sunglasses inside was the perfect touch to her outfit. She needed it while running off four hours of sleep. She looked on the walls of the rink. She saw the pictures of the hockey teams next to the trophy case. She walked further down the halls. There was a massive banner with Alex on it. There was a bottom was the boot company that endorsed her. The figure skating trophy case was under the banner. Olivia was mesmerized seeing all the photos of this rink's skaters. She saw an eight year old photo of Alex standing so tall with a smile from ear to ear. She was holding her gold medal.
"She's a winner." Trevor cleared his throat. "She's never lost a competition, she entered." He informed the brunette.
"She is missing this year." She pointed out. Trevor nodded her head. "What happened?"
Trevor knew how dark that year was for Alex. "I can't tell you that."
"So what hockey does a player have so much interest in a skater?" Olivia asked, turning to the tall man.
"Our parents made us practice longer than any of the skaters. So we would dabble in each other's sport, we are best friends."
"That's good everyone needs someone to lean on." Olivia liked knowing that Alex had a childhood friend. She began to walk towards the seats of the rink.
"With that being said." Trevor held Olivia's arm to prevent her from walking any further, "You hurt her. I will hurt you. Casey has told me about your reputation."
Olivia knew there was another reason why Olivia will not date Alex. Apart from Amanda having an interest in Alex. Alex has found a special spot in Olivia's heart and mind. She wasn't like any other girl, she would never want to tarnish Alex's personality. "Well luckily you have nothing to worry about. She's dating my roommate." Olivia checked Trevor out to see his promise in his eyes.
"Keep it that way."
"I appreciate your concern. I promise you she isn't my type." Olivia looked at Alex's dearest friend. She had to convince herself that she wouldn't date Alex. "Now if you excuse me, I'm going to watch your friend trained like she asked me to do."
They walked through the corridor to the stands of the rink. Olivia saw Alex being the only one on the idea. She was in a black leotard with black leggings. She slowly walked down to a row. She skated over to Liz to get tips.
Alex pushed herself off the wall. She stretched her legs moving her body low as she found the center of the ice to start her routine. Olivia took off her sunglasses as Alex looked at Olivia. The blonde gave a confident smirk wanting to show the brown eyes she was a great skater. She lifted her arm on top of her head leaning her body down. Liz started the music.
If I had you by Adam Lambert began. Alex immediately stepped out of her opening position with a foot work sequence. Her hands and legs made the same motion with the words of the lyrics. Her eyes were locked as she set herself up for her jumping sequence. Alex did a triple lutz, triple toe, and a double flip. She smirked knowing she felt good about her routine. Her footwork was perfect, and added over the arm jumps without telling Liz. She needed to show off her talent to Olivia. She ended her routine with a butterfly entering a sit spin. She rose up her spin combo into a layback. She ended the program pointing out to Olivia.
Their eyes were locked as she returned to Liz to get her criticism. "Now that was a short program minus the lyrics." Liz smiled. "If you want to keep those arms above your head I want to see you do them perfectly all week. One mistake is doing it the traditional way." Liz looked at her watch, "Okay I will see you tomorrow. Go home and get some sleep." Alex nodded her head looking at her. "You did good. It's good to see you back. Five laps to cool down." Liz commanded as she gathered her things.
Olivia walked down next to the side of the rink. She leaned on the wall. "You look great out there."
"I know." Alex did a little skip to turn around and look at Olivia. Alex moved her hand to trace her silhouette.
"I was told you should never get cocky during practice." Olivia shot at the blonde.
"Well I'm that good." Alex did tiny spins to meet Olivia face to face, "Did you like what you saw?" Alex asked out of breath. She placed her hands on Oliva's arms.
"How could I not?" Olivia reserved her answer. "Whenever you are ready to meet warm land. I'll be ready to take you away."
Alex smiled, "Would you rather take me away or watch me?"
"You tell me what to do and I'll be fine with whatever you chose."
