Chapter 6: Desperation

Several hours after Ben had left D'Qar, together with his father Han Solo and friend Chewbacca for the planet Ahch-To, in the hope of finding his uncle Luke Skywalker to come back and restore a spark of hope to the fight against the First Order, the Resistance was in a hurry to evacuate the base after intel had warned them that a fleet of First Order Star Destroyers speed towards the rebel base.

Above the planet, a small fleet of the Resistance, consisting of only one Mon Calamari cruiser called the Raddus, a medical frigate and a few support ships. Dozens of transport ships hurried themselves into the hanger of the main Cruiser.

Back on the planet, as the final transports were ready to departure, the female Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix and her male colleague Jones oversaw the frantic evacuation of the rebel base. Behind them, another group of transports left while still dozens of personal packed everything they had to be loaded on the other transports.

Jones told Kaydel while walking along with her "We're not clear yet! There's still 30 pallets of cannon shells in C bunker."

Kaydel shook her head "Forget the ammunition, there's no time. Just get everyone on the transport."

Suddenly, both heard a distant boom. Both looked up, seeing a First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer jumping out of hyperspace "Oh, no." Kaydel was all that she could say before that one First Order destroyer was joined by two more Star Destroyers.

In the third and final Star Destroyer, the Finalizer, General Hux and Captain Peavey see the Raddus from the bridge. Peavey turns to General Hux "We've caught them in the middle of their evacuation."

Hux smirked, seeing that victory was within their grasps and avenge the loss of Starkiller base "I have my orders from Supreme Leader Snoke himself. This where we snuff-out the Resistance once and for all." Hux then turns to some officers, ordering them "Tell Captain Canady to prime his dreadnought. Incinerate their base, destroy their transports and obliterate their fleet."

The male officer nodded and made contact with the dreadnought Fulminatrix.

After less than a minute, the enormous Mandator IV-class Seige Dreadnought Fulminatrix jumps out of hyperspace. Being nearly 3 times bigger than any First Order Star Destroyer, these dreadnoughts were known as 'Fleet killers' as they were equipped with dozens of cannons and two large Orbital autocannons, who were capable to obliterate any ship with its immense firepower or even a whole city or base.

As soon as the Fulminatrix was in orbit, it's two massive cannons began to lower down, aiming at the Resistance base.

However, back at the bridge of the Finalizer, a female monitor saw something on her screen approaching the fleet. She was surprised that it was just one X-Wing. She called her superior "General, Resistance ship approaching. Launching shields in attack mode."

Looking suspicious, General Hux took a look at her screen, seeing indeed only one ship approaching the fleet "A single light fighter?"

Both General Hux and Captain Peavey glanced at each other for a moment with a confused look.

Inside the X-Wing was Poe Dameron, accompanied by BB-8 in the tailseat. BB-8 beeped worriedly "From all the crazy things we've been through, this one takes the cake."

As their X-Wing faces off with the Fulminatrix, Poe tried to ensure his droid friend "Happy beeps here, buddy, com one. We've pulled crazier stunts that this."

Then, Leia told through his intercom from the bridge of the Raddus "Just for the record, Commander Dameron, I'm with the droid on this one."

"Thank you for your support, General." Poe said before breaking contact, but was also feeling very nervous, hoping that the First Order will take the bate "Happy beeps." After taking a deep breath, Poe flicks a switch, contacting the Finalizer "Attention! This is Commander Poe Dameron of the Republic fleet, I have an urgent communique for General Hux."

On the bridge of Hux's Star Destroyer, Poe's message was received. With a smirk, Hux told the officer "Patch him through." The man nods and presses a button so that Hux could speak to this Resistance pilot "This is General Hux of the First Order. The Republic is no more. Your fleet are rebel scum and war criminals. Tell your precious princess there will be no terms… there will be no surrender."

Hux formed a grin on his face, waiting to hear the fear of this pilot.

"Hi, I'm holding for General Hugs."

Hux then tries to be more threatening "This is Hux. You and your friends are doomed! We will wipe your filth from the galaxy!"

Hux waited for an answer.

"Ok, I'll hold." Poe says through the intercom, like he hadn't heard Hux at all.

"Hello?" Hux asks confused.

"Hello? Yup. I'm still here."

Captain Peavey and another officer exchanged a confused look while Hux asks the officer "Can he hear me?" the officer nods. "He can?"

"Hugs? With an 'H'. skinny guy. Kinda pasty."

Still confused, Hux tried to contact Poe "I can hear you. Can you hear me?"

Peavey thought it might be a trick "I believe he's tooling with you, sir."

Poe pretended like he was in a hurry, but was actually buying some time to get some more power loaded for his plan "Look, I can't hold forever. If you reach him… tell him Leia has an urgent message for him. About his mother."

Hux's anger rose when Poe insulted him and ordered his officers "OPEN FIRE!"

"BB-8, punch it!" Poe suddenly presses a button, making his X-wing hurdle forwards, straight for the dreadnought! The velocity of its speed caused BB-8's head to slip back from his round body!

Peavey and Hux watched surprised that that one X-Wing pilot was about to attack the dreadnought all by himself.

"He's going for the dreadnought." Peavey said.

Hux just chuckled "Ha! He's insane."

As some of the turents fire on Poe's X-Wing, he quickly locks his S-foils in attack position while feeling the adrenaline from the enormous speed he and BB-8 went through "Wa-hoo! That's got a kick."

Using his skills, Poe's fighter soars atop of the Fullminatrix's hull, weaving and rolling throughout all the laserfire and fires on the cannons, knocking them out one by one with ease.

Hux formed a grim expression, seeing that that one X-Wing attacking the dreadnought.

While Poe destroyed more cannons, he contacted the rest of his squad "All right, taking out the cannons now. Tallie, start your approach."

"Copy that."

As Poe's X-wing sours past by the dreadnought's bridge, Hux's hologram appeared before the captain of the Fullminatrix, Canady "Captain Canady, why aren't you blasting that puny ship?!"

Canady just answered with an near angerly face "That 'puny ship' is too small and at too close range. We need to scramble our fighters!" Hux broke contact before Canady walked out to order his TIE-Fighter squadron to protect the dreadnought "Five bloody minutes ago."

A female officer thought it was just a waist of time as that X-Wing wasn't powerful enough to destroy the dreadnought "He'll never penetrate our armor."

"He's not trying to penetrate our armor." Canady fired back "He's clearing out our surface cannons!"

Just as Poe was about to attack the last cannon, he was attacked by numerous TIE-Fighters, shooting at him! BB-8 beeps nervously "We've got fighters on our tail!"

"Yeah, yeah, I see 'em!" Poe nearly yelled.

Trying to avoid the TIE-Fighters green laser fire, their X-Wing was suddenly hit from behind! Poe was shocked as his weapon systems didn't work anymore, making it impossible to fire back! "No no. Damn it! BB-8, my weapon systems are down. We gotta take out that last cannon or our bombers are toast. Make your magic work, buddy!"

BB-8 quickly drops down to try and fix the weapon systems.

Back in the bridge of the Fulminatrix, Captain Canady asked one of the officers "Are the auto cannons primed?"

"Primed and ready, sir." The officer confirmed.

"What are we waiting for?! FIRE ON THE BASE!"

The two large Orbital autocannons glowed before unleashing a barrage of strong laserfire, heading downwards to the Resistance base on the planet!

Down on the base, the last transport was about to take off. When Kaydel saw the laserfire incoming, she yelled to the pilot "PUNCH IT!"

The transport speeds up, just as the fire blasts strike the planet's surface, destroying the base behind them!

As the transport left the planet's surface, Kaydel contacted Leia through the intercom "Last transport is in the air. The evacuation is complete."

Leia and the others on the bridge of the Raddus sighed in relief. With a smile, Leia contacted Poe "You did it, Poe. Now get your squad back here so we can get out of this place."

However, Poe was against this order from Leia "No, General we can do this! We have a chance to take down a dreadnought. These things are fleet killers. We can't let it get away."

Leia ordered Poe again, trying to keep herself calm "Disengage now Commander, that is an order." But her words were muted in Poe's head as he broke the intercom, making it impossible for Leia to contact him. Leia sighed while looking over at C-3PO with a serious face "Wipe that nervous expression off your face, Threepio."

Surprised, C-3PO gave a nod "Oh. Well, I'll certainly try, General." He then shook his head, as he couldn't make any facial expressions as he is a droid "Nervous?"

Back with Poe, he tried as hard as he could to avoid the TIE-Fighters, still on his tail and still not being able to fire back. As he'd the last cannon in sight, he contacted BB-8 "Let's go BB-8. It's now or never!"

BB-8 however had other problems as he couldn't fix the sparking junction box leading to the weapon systems. In a desperate move, the droid uses his head to send all the power Poe needs while being electrocuted!

Poe's blasters were back online! Without a moment to waste, Poe shoots and destroyes the last cannon! Poe then swings his X-wing to the left, flying right behind two pursuing TIE-fighters and blasts them to pieces!

Poe screams in excitement "Yeeeaaaahh-ho!"

BB-8 pops back up while crackling with electricity and beeps "Ugh… I'm not gonna do that again."

Poe immediately contacted his squad "All clear, bring the bombs!"

Back in the bridge of Fulminatrix, an officer saw an entire squadron of Resistance fighters and bombers heading towards the dreadnought "Captain! Resistance bombers approaching."

Several miles away from the dreadnought, a squad of 8 heavy bombers, under escort by several A-wings and X-wings of both Cobrat Squadron and Blue Squadron made their approach on the Fulminatrix.

Lieutenant Tallissan (Tallie) Lintra piloted her blue A-wing while contacting the pilots of both squadrons "Bombers, keep that tight formation. Fighters, protect the bombers. It's not every day we get a shot at a dreadnought, so make this count."

Finch, who was piloting one of the bombers contacted back on the intercom "Copy that, Blue Leader. If you get us there, we'll give it to them."

Suddenly, one of the other bomber pilots saw enemy fighters coming towards them "Fighters incoming!"

As the First Order TIE-fighters approached the squadron, all the A-wings, X-wings and gunners of the heavy bombers opened fire on the enemy fighters!

In the tense battle, the Resistance fighters were able to destroy some TIE-fighters, but a few were shot down!

One X-wing pilot tried to avoid several TIE-fighters "They are everywhere! I can't-" suddenly, he was shot down! "AAAAAAAH!"

In the chaos, a heavy bomber was shot down! "Mayday! Mayday! Mayday! We're going down!"

Poe joined in the battle, now with all weapons online again. He took out two TIE-fighters, when BB-8 suddenly saw that the dreadnought were aiming their two autocannons at the Raddus. BB-8 beeped to Poe, who nodded and contacted Tallie over the intercom "I see it. Tallie, they have targeted the fleet and begun the priming sequence."

"Copy that. we are almost there." Tallie said as the remaining 4 heavy bombers started flying above the hull of the dreadnought "Bombardiers… begin your drop sequence."

The bombers opened their bay doors, witch each holding over 100 heavy bombs.

Inside one of the bombers, a bombardier looked down the bay doors, seeing they were flying now over the dreadnought "I've got a visual on the target. We are approaching the sweet spot." He then took a remote and pressed a button, arming the bombs "Bombs are armed."

But suddenly, a destroyed TIE-Fighter crashed into one of the bombers bay doors, destroying the bomber along with two others from passing debris!

The gunner from Nix Jerd's bomber, Paige saw with horror that the last bombers were destroyed, making them the only bomber left! She breathed heavily of what she saw.

On the bridge of the Fulminatrix, one officer called that the cannons had aimed on the fleet "Auto cannons aimed. 40 seconds to full charge, sir."

However, Captain Canady saw that only one Resistance Heavy Bomber was still flying, heading towards the weak spot of the dreadnought "DESTROY THAT LAST BOMBER!"

While the other fighters gave everything they had to protect the last bomber, Poe saw that their bay doors were still closed and contacted the gunner Paige "Paige, come in. we're over the target. Why aren't your bay doors open?! You're the only bomber left, it's all down to you!"

Paige turned her gunner, seeing that the bay doors were not opened. She exited her gunner position to check what was wrong. After pressing a button to manually open the bay doors, she called up "Nix!" after not hearing anything, she climbed up the stairs.

Poe called Paige through the intercom, nearly yelling "Paige! Drop the payload, now!"

Paige made it up the stairs, seeing her partner Nix dead on the floor, with the remote control to drop the bombs in his hands. Paige tried to reach for it. But then… a TIE-Fighter shot the cockpit, making Paige to fall from the stairs!

From the shock, Paige felt light headed, but soon gained consciousness and gasped. She saw the remote control on top of the stairs. With all her might she kicked the stairs several times to make the remote drop to her. At that moment, she thought about her sister, Rose. She held the necklace that both sisters each had an identical one. Knowing that if she won't be able to destroy the dreadnought, her sister will die as well.

With he last bit of strength that she'd left she kicked the stairs very hard, making the remote to drop down to her! It nearly fell down into space, but Paige caught it in time! immediately, she pressed the button, making the hundred bombs to drop exactly on the weak spot!

"Bombs away!" Taillie called through the intercom!

As the weakspot was destroyed, a large chain reaction followed with numerous explosions throughout the dreadnaught. The bomber with Paige in it fell into the flaming abyss. Paige closed her eyes as she held her necklace, knowing that this was the end for her 'This is for you… Rose' Paige mentally called to her sister, before dying the flames!

Captain Canady watched with horror as his ship was getting destroyed, killing him along with his entire crew!

Back in the bridge of the Raddus, a Resistance officer called with joy "Direct hit! Dreadnought down!"

A burst of celebration sparked throughout the bridge. For the first time, the Resistance was able to destroy a First Order dreadnought and saved themselves.

However, Leia sighed as she sat down while looking at another monitor, seeing that they had not only lost their entire bomb squad, but several fighters along with it. For her, this wasn't something to celebrate, as taking out the dreadnought had cost to many lives. Leia shook her head, as she was not happy with Poe violating a direct order from her.

On the bridge of the Star-destroyer Finalizer, General Hux couldn't believe what he'd just saw. A First Order dreadnought was destroyed and the Resistance fleet jumped into hyperspace, escaping their grasps. Hux was worried. How was he going to explain this to Supreme Leader Snoke?

Right at that moment, a female officer called to General Hux "General, Supreme Leader Snoke… is making contact from his ship."

Trying to look calm, Hux gave a nod and was about to leave the bridge "Excellent. I'll… take it in my chambers-"

Suddenly, a big holographic face appeared! It was Supreme Leader Snoke, looking fierce at him "General Hux!"

Frightened of seeing his superior suddenly like this, Hux tried to remain calme "Ah, good. Supreme Leade-" but then was pinned down to the floor as Snoke used the Force and dragged him over the floor and raised him up!

Snoke's anger increased as Hux had failed him to destroy the Resistance "My disappointment in you performance… cannot be overstated."

Still fearing the Supreme Leader's power, Hux explained "They can't get away, Supreme Leader. We have them tied on the end of a string."

Snoke scratched his chin as he still gazed with anger at Hux. He then instructed the General before breaking contact "Meet me at my ship this once, General."

Back in the Resistance ship Raddus, while still flying through hyperspace heading to an unknown destination, Finn was lying in the medical bay. He was placed into a sleep to recover ever since his fight with Kylo Ren back on Starkiller Base.

Finn was dreaming of facing Kylo Ren on the snowy landscape of the First Order base, with the witch firing force lightning from her hand towards Ben.

"Ben!" Finn suddenly shoots up. He looks around disoriented. As he tried to get up from the medical bed, he trips and falls on the floor, making his bacta suit leaking.

Back in the main hanger, many pilots exited their fighters. Poe felt relieved after a tense battle "Well done, pal." He said to BB-8.

As the droid was about to say it was no problem, BB-8 spotted Finn, walking in the corridor while still wearing his bacta suit that was leaking "Hey, Poe. Finn is naked in a leaking bag."

Poe looks confused at his droid "Finn naked leaking bag? What? Did you fry a chip?"

"Just look at the door." BB-8 beeped.

As Poe looked where BB-8 was watching, he too saw Finn walking around disoriented in a leaking bacta suit. Poe exited his X-wing and ran over to Finn.

"Finn! Hey, buddy." Finn stopped and turned over to Poe "It's good to see you in one piece." Poe said before noticing that Finn wasn't wearing much underneath the bacta suit "Let's uh… we need to get you dressed. Come on. You must have a thousand questions."

Knowing that Finn should get dressed, he nodded while walking with his friend to somewhere else. But he stopped and asked Poe "Yeah, where's Ben?"

Poe ensured him as he patted his shoulder and walked further with Finn "He's alright. He and Han Solo had left hours ago."

"To where?"

"I'll tell you everything once you're dressed. A lot of stuff has happened while you were recovering from your wounds."

Some time later, inside Snoke's throne room on board the massive ship The Supremacy

Kylo Ren, now wearing her mask, exited the elevator into her master's throne room. When she walked in, Snoke, while surrounded by his 8 bodyguards in red armor, was hearing General Hux's plan of wiping out the Resistance once and for all and they have nowhere to run.

Snoke chuckled "Tied to a string, indeed, General Hux. Well done. The Resistance will soon be in our grasp."

Hux smiled proudly, as he hadn't failed his Supreme Leader just yet "Thank you, Supreme Leader." He then turned and left, leaving his superior with his apprentice. He gave her an arrogant smirk as he'd been the one to satisfy Snoke and not her. Kylo Ren wanted to strangle Hux, but held herself as she approached Snoke. She went on one knee and bowed before her master.

Snoke, gave another chuckle as he told his apprentice "You wonder why I keep a rabid cur in such a place of power? The cur's weakness, properly manipulated… can be a sharp tool." For a moment, Snoke was silent, till he asked Kylo Ren "How's your wound?"

Kylo Ren still felt humiliated after her defeat with Ben Solo. She was so close in killing him, but was defeated her at the last moment and now had a big scar on her face. Still, being afraid what her master's response to her failure, Kylo Ren just answered with a high voice from her mask "It's nothing."

Snoke just looked at his apprentice, sensing that she was trying to hide her fear. He felt disappointed that after three years of training, she was still the same as he'd found her. Masking his anger, Snoke raised up from his throne, slowly walking over to Kylo Ren "The mighty Kylo Ren. When I found you… I saw what all masters live to see. Raw, untamed power. And beyond that, something truly special. The potential of your bloodline. A new… Sidious." Snoke said like speaking highly of what Kylo Ren had achieved ever since her fall to the Dark Side, how Snoke saw so much potential in her.

But then, he sighed in a mixture of both disappointment and anger "Now… I fear… I was mistaken."

Kylo Ren looks up at Snoke, with some fear and anger built inside her "I've given everything I have to you. To the Dark Side. Rebuilding the Sith Order-"

"Take that ridiculous thing off." Snoke demanded while staring with a serious face at her.

Obeying her master, Kylo Ren slowly removed her mask, revealing the scar across her face, now stitched. However, Kylo Ren's face was also showing how mentally she was suffering after she'd killed her best friend, Kala Zyr.

Snoke frowned at what he saw "Yes, there it is. You still have too much of the spirit of the Jedi withing you… young Rey."

Kylo Ren snapped after Snoke called her by her real name "I killed the Jedi! I destroyed Luke's academy and killed Kala Zyr." Snoke just sighed as he turned away from her "When the moment came when she faced me I didn't hesitate."

Snoke glanced back at Kylo Ren, now showing a more anger and disappointed look "And look at you, the deed split your spirit to the bone. You were unbalanced… even nearly dropped of the edge, back into the Light! Even bested by a fallen Jedi with no memories of his past or of the Force! YOU FAILED!"

Kylo Ren stood up, wanting to unleash her anger on her master, but he reacted and fired a huge some of Force Lightning at her! Kylo Ren flew backwards till she hit the floor, still being tortured by her master's lightning! Kylo Ren screamed in agony.

Snoke's red bodyguards draw their weapons.

Then, Snoke stopped with teaching his apprentice "Skywalker still lives! The seed of the Jedi Order lives. As long as it does, hope lives in the galaxy." he then walked back to his throne and sat down while the red guards eased themselves. Kylo Ren slowly stood up while grunting in pain "I thought you would be the one to snuff it out."

"I still can, master! I will find Skywalker and bring his head!" Kylo Ren nearly yelled.

However, Snoke could see through her disguise of determination, sensing what she tried to hide. Snoke scowled at his apprentice "It's too late for that. The map to Skywalker is gone. Ben Solo is gone. All the paths that would lead to the last Jedi… are gone." He then sighed, looking once again disappointed at her "I truly had so much expectations. You, the heir of Palpatine, destined to revive the Sith Order by my side. Alas, you're no Sidious. You… are just a frightened little girl… in a mask."

No words came from Kylo Ren. Her own master could see what she truly was. A failure.

Snoke just frowned at her, saying coldly "Now get out of my sight."

Kylo Ren, picked up her mask and walked back to the elevator. Once she was inside and the doors shut while the elevator went down, all sorts of emotions went through Kylo Ren's mind as she started to breath heavily: Anger. Fear. Sadness. Kylo Ren had given everything she had to become even stronger that her own grandfather, but it wasn't enough. She looks at her mask, the thing that she used to send fear into her enemies, now… she was just seeing it as a disguise to try and hide her emotions.

'I'm not that frightened little girl anymore…! I… am not weak! I AM NOT WEAK!' Kylo Ren nearly screamed in her mind as her anger grew and used the force to crush the mask in her hand. The anger and sadness became too much for her… and then slams the mask against the wall! Kylo Ren breaths even heavier, as tear fell from her eye "I am not weak…! I AM NOT WEAK!" she kept yelling while slamming the mask more and more against the wall, till it broke in dozens of pieces! As she lets go of the remaining pieces of her mask, the walls of the elevator cracked, as far too many emotions went through the women's head. She screams her lungs out, making the elevator nearly crushing on itself "AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

Two First Order officers, one male and the other female who stood before the elevator door several levels down, suddenly saw a red button flickering as the elevator had an emergency shutdown. Confused, the male officer checked it, when suddenly the elevator door cracked open, revealing an emotional unstable Kylo Ren and used the force to push the male officer, sending him flying backwards hitting a wall! The female officer gasped in horror while other officers and Stormtroopers looked shocked at what happened as Kylo Ren stepped out of the elevator, going straight to her quarters. Everyone in the hallway quickly moved out of the way, afraid of what Kylo Ren would do to them in her state.

'I'll show him.' Kylo Ren vowed 'I'll show my master what I'm capable off!'

At that same time, abourd the Millennium Falcon

As Han Solo's ship flew through hyperspace, heading towards Luke Skywalker's whereabouts, Ben Solo, who was piloting the Falcon, suddenly felt an unpleasend feeling in the Force.

His father, Han, who sat at the co-pilot seat, saw that his son was feeling uneasy "Hey, you okay, Ben?"

Ben stroke his forehead for a moment and honestly answered his father "I don't know… I just felt something…"

"Bad?' Han asked again with some worry.

Ben shook his head "I'm not sure… I-" he was interrupted when an alarm ringed. Ben pressed some controls "We're approaching the Ahch-To system."

While Han still wandered what made his son feel uneasy, he toggled some switches, making the Falcon dropping out of lightspeed. Before them was the oceanic planet of Ahch-To.

As the Falcon flew into the planet's atmosphere, all that covered the planet was an endless ocean, with only a few mountainous black rock islands, dotted with countless trees. Ben flew with the Falcon to one of those islands, which held the first Jedi Temple. He didn't know what would await for him, but hoped that his uncle could help him to finally reclaim his memories and will join them to fight the First Order.

After landing the Falcon, Ben, with his staff strapped to his back, began to hike up the mountainous island. He stopped for a moment and glanced back at his father, Chewie and R2-D2 (who'd decided to come along with them). Han and Chewie understood that Ben had to go and face Luke alone first. Ben gave a deep breath before continuing on.

After climbing numerous ancient stone steps, Ben arrived in a small village, consisting of small and modest houses, made of primitive stones. Ben looked around, but didn't see anyone, nor senses anything. Ben walked pass the structures and went on further.

But then Ben senses something, or rather… someone familiar… being close. He heads on to where he felt it.

After a minute, being at a place that overlooked the island, Ben stopped as he spots a man wearing a beige cloak and robe with his back at him. Ben knew who it was and carefully approached him.

When Ben was just standing 40 feet away from him, he stopped once more "Uncle."

The man slowly turns himself to Ben and pulls back his hood. It is Luke Skywalker. He was surprised to see his nephew, standing before him.

Ben gave a nod and pulls out of his pack his grandfather's lightsaber. Luke's old saber. As he approached his uncle, Ben holds out the saber to him.

Slowly, Luke takes the lightsaber and looks at it. For years, he'd never thought to ever see his father's lightsaber again after losing it.

Their was a long pause, till Luke glanced back at his nephew. Ben waited for a response.

Luke then sighs… and tosses the saber away, what surprised Ben.

Luke then walks away, passing by Ben, not saying a word.

Confused at why his uncle would just toss away Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber, Ben went after him "Uncle?"

Ben arrived back in the ancient village, not seeing Luke for a moment, till he notices him entering one of the small houses and slams the door shut.

Ben walked over to the closed door, standing before it "Uncle Luke? It's me, your nephew Ben. My mother Leia sent me. We need your help."

But no answer came.

Ben knocked on the door "Uncle? Hello?" he was confused. Why was his uncle, the legendary Luke Skywalker shutting him out, not even answering his own nephew who was believed to be dead?

After some minutes of still not having any answer, Ben went back to retrieve his grandfather's lightsaber. Two Porg birds were playing with the saber, till they flew away when Ben approached, taking back the saber. While Ben was still in his thoughts, making sense to why his uncle was avoiding him, he spots an old X-wing, lying on the seafloor down below. Ben figured that it must be Luke's X-wing, most likely that Luke used it to come to this planet. But Ben could not remain in his thoughts. He had to figure out why his uncle was behaving like this and try to convince him to come and help the Resistance.

After an half-hour, while Luke had changed into a different outfit and lied his Jedi robes somewhere, there was a series of knocks on the door again. Luke sighed deep as he thought it was his nephew again "Go away!" he called. But suddenly, the door flew right open, flying backwards! Surprised, Luke looked at where the entrance, seeing Chewie entering "Chewie?! What are you doing here?"

Though Chewie was happy to see his old time friend again, he still was a bit of angry why Luke won't come with them and roared at him, asking why he wouldn't come with them. At that moment, Ben and Han entered.

"Chewie said you're coming back with us." Ben said.

As soon as Luke saw Han, he was surprised to see his brother-in-law "Han?!"

Han gave a nod while forming a grin "It's been a while, Luke." But then he demanded "Why aren't you coming with us and why would you be here in the… middle of nowhere?!"

Luke didn't answer that question and asked first "But… how did you find me?"

"That's a long story. We'll tell you on the Falcon." Ben answered.

However, Luke didn't seemed in the mood of coming along and Han still had some unanswered questions "Yeah, but first you got some explaining to do, Luke."

A/N: Well, that's it so far for this chapter of my Star Wars story.

I was first planning of making a few more chapters for this one, but I want to mainly focus on several other stories, especially the Until Dawn story that I'm gonna make the final two chapters before proceeding with my all new Danny Phantom/Mortal Kombat crossover.

Don't you guys worry, I'm not gonna abandon this story, I'm just putting it on hold for a little while.
