Chapter 6
Upon reaching the cave, Sesshomaru lead Rin to the dark entrance and settled her into a sitting position, advising her to not move from her spot until he finished lighting a small fire. Speaking softly, Rin said, "I will need assistance in removing my uchikake. Kagome and Sango helped me dressed."

Sesshomaru then remembered the herbs he had tucked away in his armor. Reaching inside he pulled them out for Rin's inspection. She looked at him curiously.
"Rin, the herbs in the light color pouch are for any discomfort you may feel after our rutting. The herbs in the dark color pouch are to stop conception. I leave the choice to you." Sesshomaru stated handing them over to her petite hands.
He watched as Rin studied the dark color pouch and looking at him, softly said, "If it happens, it happens. Nothing would bring me joy to know that I am carrying your child, Lord Sesshomaru." She then handed the herbs back to him. Sesshomaru stowed them away with the other supplies he had hidden.
Sesshomaru then moved to where he was standing very close to his mate.

Sesshomaru begin the slow process of removing the pins that held the kanzashi in place. Once removed he gently laid it down on one of the fur pelts he had laid out. He continued in removing the pins that held the hair buns in place, allowing her hair to fall freely down her back. He raked his claws through her hair pulling out any knots that may have formed.
He then removed the outer layer of her uchikake and moved onto the elaborate obi on her kimono. He gently pulled and he heard Rin take a shaky breath.
"Are you unwell?" Sesshomaru asked pausing in his movements.
Taking a deep breath, she answered, "No my lord. Merely nervous."
"I have already seen you in nothing but your skin." Sesshomaru stated resuming his actions.
"I know, but this is different."
"Different how?" Sesshomaru asked pulling the first layer of her robes from her petite body.
"We will finally be joining our bodies together, my lord. I do not wish to disappoint you." Rin said looking away.
