"Damn them."
Stain found himself in quite the predicament as the heroes arrived far earlier than he anticipated and all of them were horrendous matchups for him in his current state. Thinking back to how much damage he managed to accumulate thanks to that boy, he grew angry at the fact that everything had gone wrong for him tonight. "My body's a mess and I've lost an alarming amount of blood thanks to this boy. Combine that with the fact that all three of these heroes are fast enough to react to my speed and my odds plummet even lower than before."
Feeling his wounds gushing blood, Stain steeled himself with determination knowing what must be done. "I don't have much time before I pass out from blood loss, so I need to aim for the one who can pinpoint when I'll strike first."
"I don't know how that child was able to predict my attacks, but he has to be dealt with first. With him here, they'll know exactly where to strike and prolong my mission even longer," He thought, readying himself to hop out and strike once again. "I will not let him escape from my grasp no matter what!"
"Kurogiri, are you sure this is a good idea?"
The two villains were standing near the edge of a building overlooking the hospital with an ominous feeling filling the air around them. "Shigaraki Tomura, I assure you everything is under control. Currently there are only three heroes in the hospital and any small timers that may have interfered have been dealt with," Kurogiri stated.
Redirecting the man's movement's wasn't a problem, but the heroes in the vicinity posed a huge problem to their goal. "There are currently three heroes inside that pose a threat to us tonight, so I'll be directing him with my own quirk in order to maximize his speed and quirk."
Shigaraki began scratching his neck in anticipation, waiting for the end result of tonight's game. "I honestly couldn't give two shits about that hero killer bastard or the brat, but Sensei said that this would be crucial for my growth..." Remembering what he and Kurogiri were assigned to do tonight puzzled him, but he trusted his judgement.
"Do you really think he can take all of them on at once? He looked kinda rough when we saved his ass just now." Shigaraki asked.
"Your master has assigned me to oversee this assault on the hospital tonight and whether or not this man succeeds is irrelevant. I've learned throughout the years to not question his judgement as there is a very high likelihood there are other factors in motion," Kurogiri replied with certainty in his voice.
"So if he doesn't care about killing this brat, what does Sensei really want?" Pondering to himself for a moment, he soon pushed it to the back of his mind. Instead he was far more interested in the current situation taking place in front of him. "Well even if I might not understand all the details, I'm sure he wouldn't mind me enjoying the show."
Grinning to himself, Shigaraki continued to observe Kurogiri provide assistance to Stain in this last ditch effort for him to complete this mission of his. "Put on a good performance for me, Stain."
Inside the hospital, the tension surrounding them could be cut with a knife as staying on alert from a teleporting serial killer could put even someone as calm as Aizawa on high alert. "Zeke, are you sure you're up for this?" Aizawa asked while looking at the wounds covering the boy.
Zeke was tired, hurt and in all honesty just wanted to close his eyes and sleep, but he felt such a strong desire to protect these men from Stain regardless of his own wellbeing, nothing would stop him from doing this. "Don't worry Mr. Aizawa. I'll definitely help stop him from hurting anyone else." Keeping his eyes roaming around the room, he noticed another sinister aura pop into his head. "To your left!" he screamed.
Stain launched himself out of a portal aiming for Aizawa who was able to react in time and dodged his slash before trying to restrain him again. Stain had already moved out of the way of his capture device and sped towards Zeke throwing a knife at the boy hoping to finish him off.
"Oh no you don't!" Torino exclaimed while boosting himself forward and grabbing the knife before it could arrive at its destination. Boosting towards Stain trying to grab him, the man retreated into yet another portal to ready his next attack. "These damn portals cannot be part of his quirk."
"What's his quirk supposed to be anyway?" Hawks asked.
"If he is able to ingest some of your blood, you become paralyzed and unable to move. He didn't use any of these portals when we fought him an hour ago." Keeping his eyes constantly moving, he looked towards Zeke hoping the boy could give them another heads up when Stain would strike.
"It's impossible for someone to possess multiple quirks, so the only logical explanation is he has someone helping him from the outside," Hawks finished. Touching the inside of his ear, he pressed down on his earpiece and began speaking. "Did ya catch that buddy? Looks like we weren't the only ones who decided to crash the party tonight." Seeing him smile, Zeke wondered who the winged hero could be talking to in such a playful manner.
Zeke couldn't make out much, but he could definitely see how loud the man was yelling in his ear although this seemed more endearing than scary to Hawks. "Alright, backup is on the way to help with the situation, but for the time being we are on our own."
Sensing another portal opening, Zeke attempted to shout where it would appear, but noticed something was wrong. A portal had opened up underneath him and Toshinori and it began to drag them into it. "Mr. Aizawa, hel-" Unable to finish his sentence, both of them were dragged away to an undisclosed location and away from the fight.
"Zeke!" Aizawa shouted. "Damn it, we've got to wrap this up quickly if we want to rescue him. We don't have any more time to waste on Stain."
Without warning a portal appeared above Hawks and Stain jumped down in an attempt to cut him down. Hawks used his wings to block the attack and maneuvered himself to slash the man with his feather sword. "I won't let you get away," he thought before attacking Stain with the blade. Dodging in midair, he backflipped and threw multiple knives at Aizawa while moving towards Torino to attack once more.
"I can't dodge all of them in my current condition," he felt a twinge of pain in his knee and moved swiftly to the side of the hallway hoping to escape the oncoming knives coming his direction. He managed to dodge all of them, but soon realized this was nothing but a distraction as he noticed a portal opening in front of Torino. Stain ran through said portal at the same time another popped up beside the wall Aizawa was standing beside.
Stain stuck half his body out of it and slashed Aizawa in the back before retreating once again. "Damn, he got me," he muttered. Feeling the same sensation run throughout his body, he knew he'd just been paralyzed. "Don't worry about me, stay away and worry about yourselves. If he manages to get all of us, we die."
Nodding at him, Torino readied himself to up his speed into another gear so he could blitz him the moment he popped out of another portal. "It seems like retirement did more of a number of my speed than I realized. Even with these portals I should've been able to react to him."
Another portal opened up beside Torino leaving the man no time to react before attempting to slice a portion of his arm hoping to finally tag him. Boosting himself backwards, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Hawks manipulate the wings that had been thrust into the wall from earlier and immediately knew what he was going to do.
"Make it count brat!" he exclaimed before changing trajectory and boosting toward Stain with only one goal in mind. "I can't let him escape back through another portal."
Reaching him before he could scurry back into a portal, Torino grabbed the man by his neck and threw him into the ceiling above. "Do it now!" Torino called hoping that the timing for this wouldn't be off.
Stain undeterred had ricocheted off the ceiling with another knife in hand attempting to meet Torino head on knowing he couldn't dodge in time thanks to the portals messing with his reaction time. "You don't know where I might end up with thanks to these and that's where your mistakes start to shine," Stain thought before bringing his sword back, Torino could only watch as it was brought forward and was only inches from its target location.
Multiple sharp feathers shot forth from different locations in the hallway with such speed that not even Torino could keep track of them all. "I didn't want things to get so brutal…" Hawks understood that regardless of what happens next, this man must be stopped at all costs. "But if I don't go full throttle and someone loses their life because of me, I'd never forgive myself."
Feathers from all angles pierced his body while in midair stopping his attack and motion completely. Pain shot through the hero killer's body as the feathers didn't remove themselves and he was left in a very uncomfortable angle in the air. "I completely forgot about those damned feathers! How could I be so blind as to forget something as important as that."
"Surrender villain, we have you out matched and outgunned," Hawks said.
Aizawa, finally being able to get a clear shot of Stain thanks to Hawks immobilizing him, erased his quirk and was able to move once again. "What did you do with the boy?" he asked, anger seeping his tone. Seeing the man in pain brought Aizawa no joy as he wanted to make sure they didn't just get him killed tonight due to their miscalculations.
"I have no idea what those fools were thinking interfering with my goals! I said the boy was my responsibility, but instead that bastard took it into his own hands and got rid of him for me." Trying to move did him no good as the feathers were inserted in ways that made him physically incapable of moving. His vision was already hazy due to the bleach Zeke threw in his eyes and the fatigue coupled with his blood loss meant Stain only had one last trick up his sleeve. "How unsightly…"
"I know you're watching!" he yelled. "The deal we agreed upon doesn't matter if I get caught and can't complete my mission! Pull your weight and help me kill them!" Upon finishing his spiel multiple portals soon opened up around them and sucked all four men away to unknown locations.
"Seems like the hero killer bit off too much to handle himself," Shigaraki stated while laughing. "He had to resort to cheat codes because the level he was on was too hard." Continuing to laugh on the rooftop, he soon turned his attention back to the most interesting development he'd seen all night.
"Kurogiri, how come you brought these two to our location?"
Zeke was sitting beside a still unconscious Toshinori in terror at the two villains standing in front of him. "Who the hell are these people?" Seeing as his options to run were limited, he could only hope that they weren't as murderous as the man back at the hospital.
"I simply assisted Stain in his time of need. This boy was using his quirk to track my portals and so I removed him from the scene." Kurogiri said plainly.
"Had I not done that the boy would've surely led those heroes to victory."
Scratching his neck rapidly, Shigaraki grew anxious at this interesting turn of events. "So you mean to tell me, this brat was able to predict where you'd teleport him? Wouldn't that be bad for us?"
"Why not just let me kill him and be done with it?" His demeanor changed immediately and his posture and tone soon became twisted. "He's DLC that shouldn't even be in the game." Taking a few steps forward, he crouched down to Zeke's level before smiling to himself once again.
"Hey Kurogiri? How badly do you think it'd hurt the heroes and All Might if I decayed these two right now?"
Zeke's blood ran cold hearing how gleefully this man was talking about killing him. Toshinori still showed no signs of waking up and he saw no other options available to him on the rooftops. His quirk still active, he looked around to see if any other hero was near to save them. "I can't see anyone else."
Stalling for time, he tried to speak with them, "Who are you people and why are you helping that maniac who tried to kill me?"
Kurogiri said nothing and continued his mission to assist Stain. Shigaraki only moved closer with the same creepy smile hidden by a severed hand covering his face. "Our names aren't important, but we are the reason you were attacked tonight. You caused quite the stir downtown."
"Don't get me wrong, I'm not here because I like that asshole. I'd fucking kill him if Kurogiri and Sensei deemed him useless. Unfortunately that's not the case."
"Personally if I wasn't on such a tight leash, I'd have already killed you and that man sleeping beside you. Killing you two would hurt All Might and deal a great blow to the heroes who fought so hard to protect you." Moving even closer to where the two were only a few feet apart, Shigaraki grabbed the phone that was in Toshinori's hand and activated his quirk.
The phone began to crumble in his hand and soon was nothing more than ash drifting in the wind. "My quirk would at least make sure your death was painless compared to that asshole, don't you think?"
"What the-"
Zeke's quirk began to see strange colors materialize around him and his head began to throb violently. "My head!" The colors surrounding Shigaraki was a beautiful mix of snow white, black and a crimson red that was covering his neck.
"What's wrong with you?" Shigaraki asked with amusement. "Don't tell me you're freaking out already? I haven't even touched you yet."
Calming himself down before he could panic, he was able to fully take in what he was seeing and was speechless. "My heart…" Gripping his shirt he felt tears beginning to form in his eyes and couldn't understand why.
"It hurts so much just being near him." The tears soon fell down his face and he seemingly was unable to take his eyes off of him. "Why?"
"Who are you?" Zeke asked.
Shigaraki had no qualms with killing anyone and that included children, but something felt extremely off about what he'd just witnessed. He doesn't know what, but something deep in the back of his mind was telling him that this kid is dangerous.
"Kurogiri, how much longer will we be here?" Walking away from the boy while not answering his question, he walked back over to his subordinate with uneasiness filling his head. "We should wrap this up as soon as possible."
"I've isolated all three heroes in different parts of the area near us. As long as his body is still able and willing, then we will have no problems picking them off one by one." Kurogiri said.
Behind them, Zeke picked up an unknown aura making its way to their location at an alarming rate. "It's large… and brown with red and blue highlights. I've definitely never seen it before."
"Who is that? Why am I seeing so many new auras tonight specifically?" Moving closer to Toshinori he decided the only viable option available to him was waiting to be saved.
"This is ridiculous. I can't do a thing to help them and I almost flipped out looking at his aura." Wiping his eyes and face covered in tears, he knew that there must be something he could do to help. "I may be weak, but there's something even someone like me can do." Seeing a strange object attached to Toshinori's back pants pocket, his brain gave way to an idea. He then felt a giant ball of fear pushing itself into his gut when he realized how stupid and suicidal his idea was.
"This is gonna be so bad if my gamble doesn't pay off."
"Sorry, Mr. Toshinori, but I'm gonna have to leave you alone for just a minute," he thought before feeling a surge of determination filling his body.
"Finally we're in an environment where I have the element of surprise."
Perched behind a dumpster, he silently thanked that warp gate bastard for dropping him near an already wounded Aizawa. "This man has been a constant thorn in my side all night along with the rest of those fakes."
"He will be the first of them to face justice." Stain thought.
Sprinting out from behind the dumpster, he made his way over to Aizawa who was still leaning against the wall near him, "Damn, he followed me here." Dodging the incoming sword slashes was difficult, but he understood the ramifications of him making even a single mistake against Stain. "I have to keep moving and stay one step ahead of this prick," he thought while thinking of some sort of strategy.
Throwing a punch hoping to connect proved futile as even while heavily injured, Stain proved to be the faster of the two and made an attempt to slice his neck. He leaned back faster than it could fully connect, but it still grazed the side of it. Turning his quirk on before he could become paralyzed, he saw Stain lick the blade and continued towards him undeterred. "Can you really fight me while not being able to blink, Eraserhead!"
Running up the side of a wall, he lept off of it and barreled towards Aizawa knowing he was at a heavy disadvantage. "If I blink even once, his quirk will take effect and I'll be paralyzed." Throwing his capture device out did nothing as it was cut to pieces in midair although it did give Aizawa an idea.
"Let's see how fresh you really are, hero." Stain dropping in front of him slashed upwards hoping to finish him off, but didn't factor in the man being far more versed in hand to hand combat than he could ever hope to be. Striking him multiple times in the body, he grappled his arm that had tried to cut him and tossed him into the ground below extremely hard.
Kicking back up, Stain low kicked Aizawa off his feet and rapidly stabbed the ground hoping to impale him. Dodging them fluidly, Aizawa managed to catch the sword mid strike with his feet and twisted it left, breaking it in half. "Well, that's one less problem to worry about." he thought.
"Tch," Stain grunted before throwing the sword away in favor of two more knives. "I don't need a sword to finish you."
Rushing him once again, Aizawa noticed his movements were becoming slower and slower as the fight dragged on. "I'm hurt…" Noticing how he slightly hesitated every time he moved or changed direction gave him an even better idea, "But he's far worse than I am."
"This is going on for too long. My left leg can barely keep up anymore and my vision is almost completely blurry." Stainthought.
Sensing that his body wouldn't be able to keep this up for much longer, he dove at Aizawa with both knives in hand knowing that he'd have to end this now. "This is it, Eraserhead." Stain switched angles and tried to catch him off guard with his left knife, but he felt a surge of pain in his left leg and he buckled awkwardly right into a knee to the face.
Aizawa sensing this was his chance, grabbed hold of his left arm and maneuvered it until it was touching his back. "This is my chance!" Pulling even harder he didn't stop until he heard a pop and his arm go limp in his grip.
"Your arm is useless now, Stain. It's over," he said while letting the man crumple to the floor below.
His entire body was searing with pain and his anger had completely boiled over. "DO NOT THINK THIS WILL STOP ME YOU FAKE!"
"NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TONIGHT, I WILL KILL EACH AND EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU EVEN IF IT KILLS ME!" Completely snapping under the weight of his ambitions, he took his right hand, quickly grabbed the knife at his feet and made another futile effort to stab Aizawa.
"You're done," Punching him in the face sending him backwards and flat onto his back, "Don't make this any harder than it has to be."
Using the remainder of his capture device to wrap him up, he waited for a sign that the fight was going to continue.
Watching the man's non moving form, Aizawa came to the conclusion that he knocked him unconscious. Sighing in relief, he made his way over to the wall near him and leaned back on it completely exhausted. Knowing his earpiece had been damaged in the scuffle, he resigned himself to wait for someone to show up and help detain Stain as he had nothing left to give tonight.
"It's even a struggle to stay standing with the wounds I have and yet he was moving like he was completely fine," Thinking back to how long it took for his many wounds to affect him sent a shiver down his spine, "Thank the stars above even he wasn't immune to the weaknesses the human body gives," he mumbled quietly.
Hearing a trash can fall behind him caused him alarm as he hurriedly turned around and saw a knife plunged into it. This was the momentary distraction Stain needed as he sliced off the weak restraints holding him and rushed Aizawa who was still turned away from him. "I WILL KILL YOU!" he exclaimed with madness overtaking him.
"Damn, I'm not gonna have time to dodge him. How the hell can he still move!?" Bracing himself for another stab wound, he saw a yellow blur boost its way towards Stain and dropkick him in the back.
*Crack*
Stain was thrown into the ground below face first and the same yellow blur held him by the back of his neck while standing on his back. Torino had finally pinpointed his location and got there just in time before more harm could come to his ally.
"Took you long enough." Aizawa said.
"Whoever was helping him, dropped me in the river bank near the hospital. Air drying your clothes at my age isn't good for my health" he replied with a smirk.
"So you managed to beat him huh." Torino noticed how bad a state both men were in and figured neither of them had an easy time with the other. "We need to get him in quirk suppressant restraints and somewhere secure before things go wrong again."
Failing to notice Stain mumble something, they were caught by surprise when yet another portal opened up underneath them and dragged him away.
"You cannot be serious!" Aizawa shouted. "How does this keep happening?"
"Don't worry, I put a tracker on the bastard in case something like this happened. I've got a feeling that he's about to lead us to whoever is summoning these damn portals." Torino stated.
"How well are you to move?" he asked.
"Not well enough to travel and I'd slow you down. Just stay on his tail and don't let him get away."
Nodding to him, Torino boosted himself away hoping that he'd be able to catch Stain in time before he got away for good.
Zeke didn't take his eyes off his kidnappers as he continued to watch the new aura make its way closer and closer to their location. Shigaraki and Kurogiri were still looking over the city standing on the edge of the building completely unfocused on the two people behind them.
"Since they don't see me or him as a threat, this may actually work." Standing up he felt yet another aura making its way to him quickly.
"That's gotta be Hawks. There's no way any of them could move that quickly in the air," Zekethought. "Wait..." Changing plans last minute wasn't the brightest thing to do, but this version at least doesn't hinge on some unknown person being able to save him from being splattered on the ground below.
"This is perfect. As long as these weirdos aren't as fast as Stain, then things should go off without a hitch."
A dark portal opened up to Shigaraki's left and Zeke recognized who had been brought here. Stain was bleeding profusely all over his body and his left arm was dangling like it was out of his socket. "Why is this maniac here!? Now of all times, you have gotta be kidding me!"
"So, did you have fun tangling with those heroes, Stain?" Shigaraki asked with a smug tone.
"Those damn fakes continued to get in my way. I may be hurt, but my mission hasn't changed once tonight." Making eye contact with the boy in front of him his bloodlust began to rise and his determination skyrocketed once again.
"YOU!" Trying to move did him no good as his body had far exceeded its limits and he was forced back onto one knee. "MY MISSION TONIGHT WAS TO END YOUR LIFE AND THAT HASN'T CHANGED!"
"Slow down there, Mr. Hero Killer. From what I can tell the only thing keeping you awake right now is this weird cheat code you call willpower that you seemingly have an unlimited supply of."
"With the wounds you have it's a wonder how you're not dead yet."
Sensing his opportunity approaching, Zeke now had to figure out whether or not he'd be able to avoid Stain in route to ambushing Shigaraki. Hawks grew closer and Zeke decided now was the time to move.
Running towards Shigaraki, he saw Stain try to stop before he could reach his destination. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING YOU BRAT!" he yelled alerting the other two men.
"Doesn't matter, keep moving forward. Just need to reach him." he thought.
Stain made his way to meet him head on with nothing, but his bare hands determined to snap his neck if he had too. Reaching out to grab hold of Zeke, the boy slid between his legs and continued to move forward toward his goal.
"Hey, hey, hey," Shigaraki muttered, scratching his neck, "What the hell are you doing? Are you trying to die early or something?"
Zeke sees something bouncing through the air mid run and stops in his tracks thinking this might be to his advantage.
A yellow blur shot through the sky around them landing kicks on all three men faster than the eye could keep up with. He'd landed on Stain and was holding him forceful to the ground yelling at Zeke to come over to him. Looking back at him, Zeke only shook his head and continued forward.
"Sorry sir, but my plan isn't complete until I reach Handy Man over there," he thought.
Dazed from the hit, but not unconscious, Shigaraki made his way over to Kurogir to let him know it was time to go. "What the fuck! I thought you said no other heroes would be here!" he yelled.
"We must have been tracked somehow sir." Kurogiri responded.
"If you weren't so damned valuable, I'd fucking kill you right now!" Shigaraki growled.
Zeke, ignoring their argument, had made it to his goal being Shigaraki and figured it was now or never knowing what the man could do. "I've gotta thank Hawks for leaving this in Mr. Toshinori's pocket."
"Fine, fuck this shit Kurogiri. Sensei will just have to scold me because this kid is really really pissing me off." Stopping Zeke in his tracks, he grabbed him by the throat and had lifted him off the ground.
"I don't know what you did to bring these fucking pieces of shit to us…" Gripping his throat even tighter he made sure to leave his pinky off his neck so he could savor the moment. "But I'll make sure you can't do anything like this ever again."
"He's almost here," Zeke thought before taking a sharpened feather out his pocket and stabbed Shigaraki in the shoulder he grabbed him with.
"Argh!" Letting him go, the momentum from the stab had sent both men hurling backwards off the building.
"Shigaraki Tomura!" Kurogiri exclaimed in panic.
Stain witnessing both men tumble over the building gave way to yet another burst of determination. "NO, I WON'T LET ANYONE OR ANYTHING ELSE KILL HIM EXCEPT FOR ME!"
Throwing Torino off, he blitzed himself to the edge of the building even as he was hurting his body by forcing it to move in this manner. Leaping off he saw his prey freefalling in the air hurtling towards the ground.
A portal opened up and swallowed Shigaraki inside it and Kurogiri followed suit, disappearing before Torino could stop him.
Diving even faster, he made his way to Zeke, ready to snap his neck if he had too. "YOU MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO LIVE!"
Hawks flew faster once he was able to see the boy free falling in the air. "I won't let him die," he thought. Catching up to them he grabbed hold of Zeke, but not before Stain grabbed hold of his back. "Get off me you nutcase," Hawks exclaimed. Shaking himself in mid air did nothing as the man refused to let go of him.
"Fine, but don't say anything about this being a bumpy ride asshole."
"Hold on tight kid." Flying upward he reached the top of another building spinning himself rapidly on the way up. Disoriented Stain's grip loosened and gave Hawks the window of opportunity he needed. Flinging his wings back he forced the man off and into the air.
"Now Endeavor!"
FLASHFIRE FIST: JET BURN!
Endeavor shot condensed flames out of his fist hoping to finish him off and restrain him even if it did seem excessive.
Unable to dodge in midair, Stain couldn't even move let alone begin to block it. "CURSE ALL OF YOU FAKES!"
A portal opened up behind him and sucked him into it, but not before the blast made it's way in as well. "Damn did I get him?" Endeavor wondered before looking at Hawks holding the boy in his arms.
Flying down to meet him, Hawks could only sigh at them failing to catch any of the villains who attacked tonight. "Mission failed huh boss."
"This isn't a time for games, Hawks." Scowling towards him, he looked down at Zeke with nothing but contempt in his eyes. "So this is the brat who was involved in the incident that gave me this scar huh. He's barely even a pre teen with how small he looks."
"Don't worry Enji, I think it suits you. Makes you look way cooler than before," Hawks said.
Zeke looked up at Endeavor to see a long jagged scar running down the left side of his face and grimaced at the fact that he thought he did that. "Sorry." Zeke replied.
"Don't sweat it kid, I'm just glad you're safe and sound away from those maniacs. It's been a long night and you look like you've been through hell."
Walking back to the edge of the building they were standing on, he readied himself to take flight back to the hospital.
"Enji, I'm gonna head back to the hospital and wait for the police to show," Looking down at the boy in his arms, he figured the one thing he could use right now is to get healed up and some sleep, "And to get him taken care of."
"Right." Endeavor muttered.
Taking off he started his journey back to the hospital when he noticed Zeke had fallen asleep in his arms mid flight. "Jeez kid I take it you didn't get much sleep either," he thought. '
Reaching his destination, Hawks landed in front of the hospital to a waiting audience of Aizawa and Torino. "How's Zeke?" Aizawa asked impatiently.
"Kid held his own tonight, but he passed out on the trip back," he answered.
"How's everyone else? They managed to put the entire hospital to sleep so they must've been planning an attack like this for weeks." Hawks asked.
"Surprisingly enough, no casualties, but the media is in a frenzy. Another incident so close to the last…" Rubbing the back of his neck and sighing, "What a mess."
"Well no use in us standing out here, we best get inside before the media storm pulls up and begins harassing us for answers." Torino replied.
Walking into the hospital that was flooded with cops at this point, they could only begin to imagine and dread how the rest of the night and eventual morning would go once word spread about what had happened here.
Writing action scenes like that was extremely difficult although I'm happy with how it turned out. Few things to take note off:
Endeavor got his scar a lot earlier thanks to Zeke and the incident downtown.
The blast did follow Stain away with him so even if he got away, he's definitely hurt. Consequences for this will be shown later.
Hope you all enjoyed the chapter and an update should be available on the 18th or 19th depending on how things go.
