Jack-Jack was enjoying the flight through the Ghost Zone, until he no longer saw his brother and sister. Vlad started to feel a slight vibration coming from the baby. He stopped mid-flight and looked down at the young super. Pure rage looked back at him, and the vibration intensified.
"What is thi-" Vlad tried to say, but Jack- Jack just burst into flames.
He let go of the baby, who started to float away from him, Vlad didn't know what to do. In all his years fighting ghosts nothing could prepare him for a baby with untold powers.
As Jack-Jack floated away from his captor he became increasingly less stable as his family was not near. He put out his flames and stared at Vlad, and in a blink he disappeared.
The Specter Speeder raced through the Ghost Zone, the four teens with looks of intense focus as they scanned for any sign of Vlad and Jack-Jack.
"They could be anywhere in this place!" Violet exclaimed.
"Anything showing up on the radar?" Danny asked.
"Nothing yet." Tucker responded.
"What do you mean that nothing has shown up? How can nothing be showing up?!" Violet said with an edge of panic in her voice.
"We're going to find Jack-Jack, Violet." Danny said reassuringly.
"Danny, look." Sam said, "There is a building up ahead. We should check it out."
"Good idea. Tucker carefully pulled the speeder next to the wall. Then we will go through and split up." Danny instructed.
"Ok." Tucker responded, carefully maneuvering the craft next to the wall.
As she watched the wall get closer to them, Violet couldn't quite wrap her head around the plan. "What did he mean by going through the wall?" Violet thought. "How can we go through it? Jack-Jack has been the only one who can."
"Uh…Danny, what did you do by going through the wall?" Violet asked a puzzled look on her face.
"Uh…well in the Ghost Zone, we are like ghosts. We can phase through anything here, like they can do in our world." Danny explained with a small smile on his face. The speeder stopped next to the wall, Danny walked over to the hatch. The four teens all jumped through the wall.
The room was empty, there was no furniture, no pictures, and no windows. There was just a plain door, in the left corner of the room.
"Alright, Tucker and Violet, you guys will go through the door there. Sam and I will go through this wall here. If you find them, let us know. But do not
engage til Sam and I are there. Vlad is very dangerous."
"Danny, I think I can handle that ghost. He doesn't scare me." Violet said, staring at the half human teen.
"Violet, you have to trust me when I tell you that Vlad Plasmius is dangerous. He will use Jack-Jack against you. He-"
"Danny, I don't doubt that you know how bad this guy is. But it's different when you go up against them. If you had super powers and fought bad guys like I do, you would understand." Violet explained.
"Vi-," Sam and Tucker shook their heads in a no jester. "Never mind, you're right if I had powers I would understand." Danny said with a defeated tone.
"Okay, if you come across Vlad make sure you call us in for back up. We might not have powers but we do have weapons against ghosts." Danny said. The four teens then went through the door. The hallway was endless in either direction.
"Sam and I will go take the hallway to the left." Danny said, "You two just go straight down." They all nodded and started down the assigned hallways.
It was dark, the only light was coming from the bedroom window. Danny was sitting on the floor back facing the door. He was hugging his knees and rocking back and forth; repeating the same phrase over and over again.
"It's all my fault they died. It's all my fault they died. It's all my fault they died" he said.
BAM BAM! BAM!
Danny was unphased by the pounding at the door.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
The pounding continued, but the ghost child just rocked back and forth saying the same phrase over and over.
It happened so fast, Sam and Danny opened the door, it shut behind them and that was it. She awoke to find Danny unconscious next to her. She tried to call his name, but he didn't respond. Sam grabbed his shoulders and shook him!
"DANNY!" She yelled. Then his body started to levate. She backed away, it flew through the wall. She got up and ran after him, but ended up smacking into the wall. The force of the impact sent to the floor. She was bit dazed from the impact, and put her hand to her face to assess any injuries she sustained. Sam glared at the wall, in confusion and sudden panic.
Tucker and Violet were silent as they walked down the hall. It was getting to be a little much for Tucker, he turned his head toward Violet.
She was on the island again. The panic of not being sure her powers would be enough to keep Dash and herself from Syndrome's henchmen. It was there she saw them with guns pointed at Dash and herself. She tried to produce a force field to protect them, but it was too late. Dash was hit, and he didn't get back up.
"DASH! DASH!" Violet screamed as she cradled her brother. She looked up the barrel of the gun and everything went black.
She was on the island again. The scene of seeing her brother killed continued to loop over and over. Ending the same way each time.
Tucker grabbed his head and looked around and slowly got to his feet.
"What happened?" he asked. He looked to where Violet was just a moment ago, there was nothing there.
"Vi-" He heard Sam's yell for Danny. Tucker took off running in the direction of his best friend's voice.
Vlad flew toward the abandoned building, stopping as he spotted the Specter Speeder. That was all he needed were those pesky children interfering with his plans. He thought of disabling the speeder, but he had more pressing matters to attend to inside. He flew to the spot in the building that had an entrance he could go into with having to transform into his human form. When entered he felt like something was off, the room was dimly lit, and there on the floor layed Danny and Violet. He came closer to their bodies…
There in the dark corner of the room stood a figure, he was quiet, waiting for the signal to attack.
"Gamma Ray, take him out….He will be useful to our plans." said a voice in Gamma Ray's head.
"With pleasure" he responded back in thought. With a quick ecto-gamma blast Vlad fell to the floor next to Danny and Violet. Gamma Ray grabbed the unconscious Vlad, in response the two teen bodies started to float. He flew through the entrance followed by Danny and Violet, flying further into the Ghost Zone.
