My number was called. I've enlisted! A new personal challenge as I make my way through the drabble war using a random word generator. (using word count feature on Microsoft word, which is more reliable)

6. Treat

"It doesn't take much," Hogan told Schnitzer as he watched the veterinarian work with the dogs at the farmhouse. The colonel flung a sausage at one of the females and let out a smile when the dog caught it in the air and trotted off to enjoy the treat in privacy

"It doesn't, Colonel." Schnitzer sent a signal to one of the males, who obediently growled at the dummy dressed in a German uniform. "They have an innate ability to tell good from bad. Treat them humanely and they will respond in kind."

"Wise words," Hogan said.

"Indeed," Schnitzer agreed.
