Chapter 6
Childe looked between Voix and Kayea, feeling the tension in the air. He chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck. Violet just glared at Kayea before wrapping her arm around Viox's shoulders and walking her towards the front door, the boys blinked at the sisters leaving before following. After everyone was outside Violet locked the place up before walking with her sister to the limo. Childe opened the door for the girls, Viox got in first. Kaeya tried to enter next but Violet pushed him out of the way so she could sit next to her sister. This caused Childe to chuckle as he got in next to Violet leaving Kaeya to sit next to Childe with a scowl on his face. It was a pretty quiet car ride to the venue. Once everyone was out of the car, the boys went to the back to get set up while a security guard escorted Viox and Violet to a VIP section. The girls are standing there not knowing what to do with themselves. Viox has a scowl on her face and her arms crossed while Violet just looks bored while she picks at her nails. "You know you could have stayed home V." Violet said looking at her sister who sighed. "No, I didn't want to leave you alone." Viox said softly, lowering her arms to her side. Violet smiled pulling her sister in a half hug "I'd've been fine ya know?" Violet chuckled. She realised her sister when the lights dimmed indicating that the concert was about to start.
Viox sighed softly as the pop band all sat on some stools on the stage, she was feeling lucky to be pretty far from the screaming fangirls that took up all of the venue.
"I'm at a payphone!~"
Childe's voice echoed from his mic as he set the harmony for the rest,
"I threw a wish in the well. Don't ask me, I'll never tell. I looked to you as it fell, And now you're in my way. I'd trade my soul for a wish. Pennies and dimes for a kiss. I wasn't looking for this. But now you're in my way.~"
Zhongli followed up softly. He had his eyes closed as he sang the lyrics. It flowed beautifully with Childes harmony as Diluc opened his mouth next,
"I've wasted my nights. You turned out the lights. Now I'm paralyzed. Still stuck in that time. When we called it love. But even the sun sets in paradise.~"
Violet and Viox smiled, the song was so easy to follow along with. As Childe took a breath and sang again,
"I'm at a payphone!~"
Then Viox glared at the next in line, Kaeya,
"Hey, I just met you, And this is crazy
But here's my number (here's my number). So call me, maybe? It's hard to look right, At you baby. Here's my number!~"
Viox huffed, "Fitting for him." She grounded out as Violet looked at her sibling, "Okay seriously what happened?" She asked Viox. Viox grumbled, "He basically told me I was in a life and needed to leave it!" As Violet blinked, "So he's...hitting on you?" She asked weakly as Viox nodded, "Me! Out of all the women he could get, he picked the broken one! He's nothing but an idiot!" She spat as she watched the band continue. "Hes...so…" she paused not having much to go off of, he was just some popstar that people are obsessed with, she was, a nobody compared to him. Viox looked down as her sister held her hand, "Don't let him get to you like this." She whispered softly as the VIP section door opened, heels clicked on the tile flooring, "The Hala Twins! Oh my goodness!" As Viox's eyes widened with worry, "Fruitia…" she whispered as Violet shoved Viox behind her, "What are you doing here?" Violet spat out as Fruitia faked a hurt look, "What no, 'Nice to see you?' How tragic." Fruitia chuckled out, "And if you must know, I'm Childe's girlfriend, well...when he sees me again he will be once more." She winked at the twins. Violet swallowed a gag as she took in the outfit Fruitia was wearing, a short bright red latex dress that came up to mid thigh, and a white fur coat with white heels as well, "I'm sure he wouldn't like...latex." she replied tightly, as Fruitia shrugged, her outfit sounded as if she had farted. Viox swallowed a laugh. Fruitia glared, "Got something to say pinky pie?" She spat as Viox froze, her hand reached out and touched Violets crop top, she felt her body shake. Violet glared, "You got a lot of nerve talking to Viox like that you condom." She growled out as Fruitia huffed, "At least I'm not a cutter." She replied looking at her nails, they looked sharp enough to slice through skin as Violet sent daggers at the woman, her skin began to feel the need to be sliced, but she held back the urge for Viox. Her eyes were unreadable as she felt Viox push her behind her, "Viox no…" she whispered as Viox walked over to Fruitia, and pulled back her hand, as it took the shape of a fist, she knocked the woman to the ground, as the boys walked in. The women in the room not paying attention, "At least I don't fuck other peoples boyfriends!" Viox spat at the woman on the ground. Fruitia whimpered as she held her nose, "YOU BROKE MY NEW NOSE!" The woman wailed as Viox rolled her eyes, "Buy another one!"
"Anyone else super turned on by the fact she can fight?" Kaeya asked as Viox looked up and flushed, rushed back to hide behind Violet. Violet chuckled at her embarrassment, "Yeah, she learned from me." She told Kaeya. As Childe helped Fruitia up, who leaned on him heavily, "Childe! Darling! These Ruffians! Attacked me!" Fruitia cried out as Violet looked at her, "Pity…" she said as Childe looked at her, "Fruitia, what happened exactly?" He asked as the woman sobbed, "I came in and was just enjoying the show when those two started making fun of me and my outfit! I tried defending myself, but then Viox! She punched me!" Fruitia cried out as fat tears dropped from her eyes. Childe glared as he looked at Fruitia, "How do you know her name?" He asked as Fruitia paused, "Whose name darling?" She asked innocently, as Childe shoved the woman away, "How did you know her name! Nobody said it!" He spat as he pointed at Viox. Fruitia took a step back, "I...I…" she glared, "I'm leaving!" She huffed out as she stomped out of the room. Violet sighed and crossed her arms, "I thought fangirls were worse." She shook her head as Childe looked at her, "I'm guessing you know Fruitia?" He asked as Violet nodded, "Know her too well in a sense." She said as the boy band groaned. Viox stood stiffly behind Violet.
"Well we have about one more set before the show is over, we're on a short break so they can replace the outfits under the stage." Diluc said quietly as he took it as an excuse to leave, Zhongli following afterwards, Kaeya winked at Viox before following. Childe stayed behind for a moment, "We'll talk later, enjoy the rest of the show okay?" He told the Hala Twins as Violet nodded, watching him go. Viox tugged on Violet's shirt, "Are you?" She began to ask as Violet turned to hug her sibling, "I'm so proud of you." Violet whispered out as Viox hugged her back, "I learned from the best." She said back as they released each other, "Now if we could chase off Kaeya and Childe, we'd be golden." Viox giggled as Violet smiled warmly, "Agreed, let's enjoy the rest of Valentine's day." She said as they turned back to the concert.
