"Ugh, what happened?" asked Apple as she woke up to her head pounding.
"You collapsed from a high fever, Miss," said a voice that Apple recognized. When she turned to see the source of the voice she found it to be that of Cassandra.
"Why am I back home?" asked Apple as she realized she was in her room back at Queen Snow White's castle.
"After hearing from Headmaster Grimm your mother thought it would be better to bring you home until you feel better as it seems that you have a terrible illness that has put a strain on your mental state," said Cassandra while changing a wet towel on Apple's head for a new one.
"And seeing how you're awake I'll get you some soup to eat, you have already been out for half a day now," she said before leaving the room. That's when Apple noticed that a clock on a nearby wall read eight o'clock.
"Have I really been out this long?" asked Apple with a shocked expression. Meanwhile, outside the room, Cassandra was talking to a guard standing by the door.
"Do not let Princess Apple out of your sight if she leaves the room," said Cassandra to a guard who just saluted her with a 'yes mama'. Back in the room, Apple had found her mirrorphone on her nightstand and was furiously looking through her list of tantaks.
"Come on, Raven, pick up," said Apple after clicking on the witch's name.
"The number you are trying to reach...," said a voice before Apple hung up, tossing the mirrorphone back onto the nightstand.
"Hex, I could really use her help right now, she always made me feel better with her magic when I got sick," said Apple while flopping back down on her pillows and looking up at her ceiling.
"Wait, when was I ever sick around Raven?" asked Apple with a confused expression. Suddenly, she heard coughing from next to her and when she turned she found a younger her who was clearly sick and tucked under the covers.
"It's alright, Apple, I'm here for you," said the mystery girl as she sat on the edge of the bed while holding Apple's hand.
"It can't be," said a shocked Apple as she noticed the mystery girl had purple hair with blond highlights.
"But she doesn't have highlights in her hair now," she said while pondering what this meant.
