After the scary Gastornis encounter, Lincoln and T.J. were fearfully around to head back to the base. As they did, they were able to tell Bea about their encounter with the birds, but were unscathed. Bea excused that as everyone in the base (it was a fortress of what used to be the Nicktropolis River Hotel as it was right by the Glowing River) and that it has the main building in the front behind the gate, larges walls surrounding it, extras four towers like a castle to serve for extra guests, food storages and one of the towers has a view of the now former fields serving as a grazing ground for animals.
As a result, everyone occupied most of the rooms as Lincoln has his own and it was right across from T.J.'s. It was nice to have friends surrounding him. Whereas they were yet to find the rest of the Recess Gang and possibly his too, along with other survivors too. Lincoln then relaxes as he was ready to get out some more.
Lincoln: Finally I can get some rest.
He then soon doze off as he was able to get some sleep. Later on in the evening, he was woken up to see that everyone were getting ready for dinner. Lincoln gets up and follows suit. Dinner was nice as it was cooked ham, turkey and chicken. Even T.J. fainted at the sight of this and ate too. Later on as the sun was setting, Lincoln decided to go look for survivors out there.
Lincoln: Good thing I brought a flashlight and bug spray, in case any bug tries to eat me. Therefore, I can find more survivors.
As he walks out into the sunset as he goes to see a herd of elk grazing nearby the river. He hides behind a bush to wait for the herd to leave. He was determined to find any survivors in or out of this park. That was until a group of shadowy figures appear from behind him and Lincoln shines his flashlight on them. It was the members of the Morticians Club as they appear to be mutated in different ways.
Haiku was still wearing her clothes, but the only difference is that her dress was ripped up, her skin was green, has fangs in her mouth, her hair was wavy and crazy, no longer has a reflective shine, her eyes are now hollow black, dried mascara tears were visible on her cheeks, her fingerless gloves her teared and has wings in place of her arms.
Boris still remain tall, but his head was now feathery: resembling an owl's, bigger bat like ears, actual fangs, sharp claws on his fingers, raptor-like claws projecting out of his boots on his big toes, his rob was dirty and was stained in dry blood, and that his eyebags are no longer there.
Dante was now no longer round, but very muscular, his robe is tore up, his hair strands over his face are now tentacles and has sharp teeth in place of his normal ones.
Morpheus now has spikey hair, no longer wears his glasses, his cape was got and was replaced by his now new wings, has sharp claws, four sharp teeth and has blood stain clothes.
Persephone has her hair down: no longer in a bun, missing one of her earrings, her braces were broken apart due to her now having sharp teeth, has long sharp claws, her high heels were broken up with visible raptor toe claws just like Boris, her dress was stain with dry blood too and no longer has an umbrella.
Bertrand is now bat like, has blooded clothes, blooded face and has reptilian eyes! It was clear that the blast must've hit them so hard that they gotten mutated that way including gaining raptor toe claws.
Lincoln: Oh god this is not good, I gotta get out of here!
The Morticarnivores start to gain chase after him. Lincoln runs and jumps onto an elk as the mutated kids continue to chase him, via the elk herd running for dear life. Haiku- flew from above, Boris runs from the side, Morpheus flies in the back, Bertrand runs on the right and Persephone was behind Lincoln.
Lincoln: Oh god! I got to get back to base before these monsters try to eat me!
He rides to elk, determined to get out of here. In which Persephone manages to cling onto the elk, but fail to grab Lincoln as he manages to escape by jumping off, kicking Boris and landed in the boat to get away back to base.
