It took him one and a half hours until he reached the frontdoor of his and Remus's 'little hideout', how Remus was calling it. It was a typical two storache slender looking house in a way too friendly neighborhood.

Virgil quietly opened the front door and sneaked into the livingroom, letting himself fall onto the couch with a groan. He was home. Tears fell down his face, as relief swept over him. His mind was still racing. Why did Remus had to dragg him along in the first place?

He should have just ignored Remus advice about facing your problems and should have ran away instead. Why did Remus even give him that advice, when he damn well knew what had happend between the two of them. If he had just stayed home, the whole mess wouldn't had happend.

It all was alone Remus's fault. had he to listen to his colleage. And where the hell was Remus anyway? Doesn't matter, he was too exauhsted to care about anything anymore and was still crying. He cried himself to sleep, curled up into a ball on the couch.

He jumped awake, when he heard the door open behind him. Remus stood in the doorway, keys in hand. His phone rang, as he noticed Virgil standing beside the couch, ignoring his phone. Virgil starred at his best friend. He looked tired. His hair was a mess, but Virgil couldn´t see any bruises or torn clothes.

He took a step towards him, but stopped in his track. He was reliefed that his best friend was unharmd, but also mad at him for leaving him alone at the party, when he needed him the most. Remus suddenly threw everything he had in his hands on the ground and ran at Virgil, pulling him into a tight hug.

"Oh, thank god. What the hell happend to you, last night? Where the hell have you been?! I was looking for you everywhere the whole morning and was about to call the police, to tell them you were missing."

Virgil flichend and pushed him back. "M..Me?! You were the one who left me alone! You said you would come back, in a few minutes, but you never did!"

Remus stopped in his tracks and shook his head. "That´s not true. I went to look where Roman was and came back, ten minutes later, but you weren´t there anymore, I checked everywhere for you, I promise!"

Virgil didn't want to hear it and turned away, wrapping his arms around himself.

"Doesn't matter", Virgil snapped. "I'm here now, so no need to worry."

He tried walking past Remus and freaked out as he grabbed his shoulder and kicked at him, trying with all the strentgh he had left to keep Remus away from himself.

"Hey, what's gotten into you all of the sudden. I just want to check if your ok. I thought I lost you, last night!" Remus claimed as he pulled Virgil around, so he could look at his face properly, holding him still with firm hands.

Remus was shocked, gesturing frantically at Virgils face and neck.

"What in the name of all horror movies happend to you?! Was it Roman?!" No response. "Tell me!"

Virgil just looked away, with tears in his eyes. He couldn't speak anymore. Remus's grip on him grew tighter, causing Virgil to flinch and groan in pain. Remus frowend and looked Virgil into his face, not saying a word. He pulled Virgil's sleeves up revealing bloody bandages covering his arms.

As Remus was about to pull up his hoddy to look at his front, Virgil stept in and grabbed his arms shaking his head in a silent plea. Remus understood what he meant and let go of him completely.

"Oh gloomy... what did he just do to you?"

Virgil neither denied that it was him nor did he answer the question, since it was pretty obviece what had happend. They both knew it had been Roman. After staring Virgil down, Remus drew a hand threw his hair and streched out his hand to Virgil, leading him to the couch.

Virgil sat there for a moment, while Remus was making tea in the kitchen. When he came back he sat down next to Virgil handing him a cup of peppermint tea, his favorite. They drank in silence for a moment.

Virgil knew Remus was waiting for him to tell him about last night. He didn´t pressure him by asking any more questions just sat next to him and quietly waited for Virgil to open up, which was pressuring him a way, though. Virgil took a shaky breath in, before he began to talk.

"After you left me in the basement I waited for you to come back, but you didn't return and I went to look for you. I was scared that Roman would hurt you, but you were nowhere to be found. I checked every inch of the house. by the time I thought you left the party without me I checked the second floor. That's... That's where he found me. He... kissed me, Remus. He touched me, saying how much he missed me and how much he still wanted me. I tried to stop him, but I was too weak. Even completely drunk, he was stronger than me. He beat me up, when ever I tried to flee. He dragged me into his room and on his bed. he forced me to sleep with him, Remus. It was horrible. I was so scared. The next day I left as fast as I could. Roman tried to apologe for what he had done, but I had enough and punched him before I made a run for it."

By the time he finished Virgil was shaking, as the memorys of yesterday came back to his mind again. It became quiet again between them for a while.

"I swear to God I will destroy the bastard and kill him slowly, if he ever shows up again." Remus whispered under his breath.

Virgil looked at his friend and was suprised by the stone cold look in his face. He opend his mouth to say something, but was distracted by his phone buzzing in his pocket. The name on the display said Dr. Miller. He ignored the call and unlocked his phone. Four new Messages from Remus, five calls since last night from both Remus and the doctor.

"You called Dr. Miller!?" Virgil asked.

"Of Course, man. I didn´t know where else to look, as you went missing."

Virgils Phone rang again and Remus took it.

"Hi, Doc. Yes, he´s here. We´re home. He´s injured pretty badly. Roman went after him. Yes, he told me what happend." Remus listend a moment to what Dr. Miller told him.

"She wants to talk to you", handing him his phone back, before Virgil could dieny it.

"Hello?"

"Hello Virgil. I'm glad to hear you made it home. I was worried when your friend told me you went missing at a house party. How are you feeling?"

Virgil gave a sigh. "Like I was hit by a bulldozer. It hurts and I'm pretty excauhsted."

"Alright. Listen carefully Virgil. I want you to come to my clinic, so I can take care of your wounds and make sure you are safe. I know your not a big fan of hospitals or clinics, but it's the safest place for you to recover, right now."

"Okay." Virgil wisperes, before handing the phone back to Remus.

"Okay, I'll make sure he gets there safely. See you then. Thank you, doc." Remus hung up and stood, reaching out his hand for Virgil to take it.

Virgil shook his head, now feeling really nervos about showing Dr. miller what Roman did to him, or even talk about it. This wasn't like the last time where he woke up at the hospital, after being unconcious for two days, after Remus had found him beaten and bloody on the floor of Romans old appartment. This was worse.

"I can't..." Remus leaned down to look him in the eyes.

"You have to, Virgil. You need a doctor and I will not sit here, while you suffer from what your ex-boyfriend put you through. Besides you're not alone. I'll be there the whole time. Dr. Miller is a friend, remember. She is a doctor. She knows what she does. Have a little faith."

Virgil opend his mouth to reply something, but nothing came out, so instead he glared at Remus, before he sighed heavily and nodded, giving a weak smile.

"Okay."
