Ch.5 a lesson in aggression.

The battle was going too easily. At first Tegumi thought his acting had just unnerved the kumo nin, but as the battle carried on he grew more confused as to where the 'would be' invaders got the confidence to attack head on in the first place.

'There is no way the Raikage is so dumb as to underestimate us this much. What is their angle? More importantly were is the jinchuuriki at?' Tamagi decided there had to be something else that they weren't seeing, but he couldn't figure out what.

Meanwhile in the village…

"They're really going at it aren't they Kinkaku-san?" A man with three whisker marks on his cheeks, black tiped silver hair and the kanji for silver tattooed on his right shoulder said with a smirk.

"Indeed Ginkaku-san, those fools don't seem to know how to spot a feint!" Responded a second man who also had the whisker marks on his cheeks but had black tipped gold hair and the kanji for gold tattooed on his left shoulder.

"What do you expect from a bunch of leaf loving islanders, not that it matters once we have the secrets to the Uzumaki clan sealing they'll have to accept us back into the village." The silver themed man quipped back.

"Long as that old chain man isn't around we should be fine. Now get back to searching for something useful! The sooner we have something the sooner we can return home!" The golden haired man said ending the conversation

Meanwhile on the coast of The land of Fire.

"Ashina-sama, are you feeling alright? You've Been sneezing a lot today. Do you have a fever? Your ears are awfully red."

"It's probably just pollen from the trees. I'll be fine once we get back to Uzushio."

back at the beach

It had been an hour since the 'battle' began, and the Kumo nin could not gain ground. They had been throwing themselves headfirst into the blender that was the Uzumaki chain core, then if they managed to get past that they found themselves in the Namikaze minefield. None had even made it to the Otsuki's killing field yet.

"Something about this battle isn't sitting right with me Yusuke-kun." Tegumi said, dropping the henge of his sensei.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I feel the same. This fight is going way too easily and I don't see anything resembling a jinchuuriki in sight. Why don't you go and check on the eastern beach. That said don't go alone take Tomogo or some of the others with you" their efforts are wasted on this fight anyways" the Otsuki may said gruffly.

"Alright sounds like a plan… You know, on the bright side, the longer these Kumo fools last the longer we can put off doing more paperwork." Tegumi joked with his teammate and got a chuckle, before calling out to his other to follow him.

Together they quickly left the beach to their muscular teammate and the other clan heads. Cutting through the town they decided to take to rooftops to get to the eastern coast quickly. On their way however, they found a silver-haired whisker faced trespasser leaving the Uzumaki clan library. He was carrying a scroll in one hand and a plain looking sword in the other.

"Jeez, it took long enough for someone to find me, and now that someone has it's a couple of no name ninja." The silver haired missing-nin quipped. A haughty smile plastered on his face

"Ah, Kinkaku-san formerly of Kumogakure. You're one of the bastards that killed Tobi-chan. Does that mean your brother is here as well? Also give the taunts a rest, I can clearly see that you're carrying neither the 'Kohaku no Jōhei' or the 'Benihisago'." Tegumi had wanted to go after gold and silver brothers ever since they had killed Tobirama, but his master forbade it. Thankfully he was allowed to research how they fought in case they had to fight regardless.

"Sounds like you've done your homework, this might be fun after all, but if you think I'll be easy to beat just because I don't have my favorite tools with me then you're sorely misinformed. Here let me show you!" The silver haired missing-nin yelled as he rushed at Tegumi with a downward slash of his sword.

Tegumi quickly pushed his chakra chains from his tenketsu to block the simple swing. He grit his teeth at the strength behind the swing.

'He's definitely as strong as the reports claimed, but if I can seal his chakra he'll be easy to-' his thoughts were cut off as he saw the gold brother come around a corner carrying a child. His child.

30 minutes earlier, at the home of Tegumi and Sumi Uzumaki, Suzuri was practicing his chakra control. He had always had trouble getting the energy to listen to him. His otou-san said that he was blessed with a large amount of yin chakra, but because of this he would need to work harder to bring his chakra into balance.

'On the bright side i can make more chakra chains then any of the other Uzumaki kids! But I just can't get the leaf to stick to my head no matter how much I try.' He had been practicing ever since the academy sent his class home for the day.

'I don't mind going home early, but I wonder what otou-san is doing that they called him away for a mission while he's on a mission!' Suzuri pondered letting the leaf fall to the ground.

"Still having trouble with the leaf eh Suzuri-chan?" Sumi called out to her son, shaking him from his thoughts.

"Why don't you come have some tea with me, and we can try to figure out what's going wrong, together." Sumi who had been surprised when Suzuri had come home early from the academy and even more surprised when she heard that Tagami was one of the speakers, was now relaxed in the main sitting room of their family's house.

'Knowing he is with Tamogo and Yusuke means he's probably dealing with the clan head duties while Ashina-sama is at Konoha. That explains why I got a receipt for thirty sets of kunai and twenty sets of shuriken. Hah here I was worried that the fool spent all our money on supplies again.' Sumi was so relieved that Tegumi hadn't nearly bankrupted their family that she dropped the half carved brush she was making and sat down until she could stop laughing and quietly cursing her husband's lack of organization.

Now relieved that they weren't in debt she decided to have some tea and have some of the many Sweets she had been making while watching her son try and figure out the basics of chakra control.

"I just don't know how to 'balance the yin and yang' that otou-san mentioned. Every time I think I'm getting close the leaf falls off." Suzuri said with a pout, taking a seat next to his oka-san.

"Oh, I see what the problem is. Tell me Suzuri do you know what yin energy and yang energy are?" Sumi asked her son, pouring him a cup of tea.

"Otou-san said that yin is like the energy of the soul, that's why i can make a lot of chakra chains. Whereas yang is the energy of the body, but I'm not sure what it's used for, or how to make more of it to make them balanced." Suzuri responded with a nod.

"Well you see, yang energy comes from muscles and hard work. The easiest way to get more of it is to exercise. That said, you don't need to raise it in order to balance your chakra. Instead you need to calm your mind and get all that yin energy under control." Sumi said, patting Suzuri on the head.

'I swear he looks just like Tegumi when we were young.' Sumi gave her son a warm smile.

"Tell you what if you promise to be a good boy I'll take you to the clan library. There have been more than a few Uzumaki that we're blessed with a lot of yin Chakra. I'm sure that there are some meditation guides to help you." Sumi couldn't hide her chuckle at Suzuri's smiling face.

So after they finished their tea they headed out. They had nearly reached the library when they heard sounds of battle.

Sumi who was not an active ninja despite her rank of tokubetsu-jounin wasn't an active member of the forces. Her husband however was, this led the order to mobilize and to the warning to stay inside not reaching her.

"Look, look, oka-san! There's a door in the street!." Suzuri pointed to a large wooden door that had the Uzumaki clan Crest on it. It was the library door, and there was blood on it. Sumi's blood ran cold at the sight.

"Suzuri-chan, stay clo-!" Sumi didn't finish her sentence as she grabbed him by the shirt and jumped to the side. Where they had been was now a crater, with a blond haired man.

"Geez today has gotta be my lucky day! First I find the library within minutes of getting here, then it's practically unguarded, now I find myself with a red haired wench and a kid! You two will be the perfect cherry on top. That windbag of a Raikage was always saying that Kumo needs new blood."

"Suzuri, I need you to do as I say and stay behind me." Sumi said putting up a strong front for her son

"Oh, the red headed oka-san thinks she can put up a fight that adorable." The gold haired man taunted.

'Wait, I know that guy! He's one of the gold and silver brothers that killed the second hokage in the show! There's no way oka-san can take him, but how do I warn her… oh I know!'

"Oka-san, I recognize that man from Otou-san's bad guy books! He's one of the realy bad men that killed cousin Tobirama!"

"Wow, even kids from other villages now who I am! Color me impressed. You should listen to your kid and not fight woman, after all unlike him I don't need you alive for you to be useful." The man with the gold said getting into a fighting pose.

"Oh, you've got a few kunai short of a set if you think I'm going to let you take my son or I without a fight!" As she finished talking four chains sprouted from the ground wrapping around the man's limbs.

"Uzumaki style-Kusari inazuma no jutsu!" There was the smell of ozone and the sound of cracking thunder as the chains wrapped around Ginkako flashing with electricity.

"Now run Suzuri! Get help!" Sumi yelled to her son hands clenched in the tiger seal.

"Ye-yes mam!" Suzuri turned to run he might have memories of being an adult, he might know the secrets and truths of this world that are thought lost to time, but he had spent six years being a kid. When his mother told him to do something his brain went on auto pilot, and he did it.

'What am I doing I should be helping her! He's going to kill my oka-san. He's going to kill my mom!' He could feel tears start to fall from his face as he started to run.

"Kami damn that was one hell of a morning call lady! But you'll need a little more than that if you want to take me down!" Even without taking a look back Suzuri knew that Kinkako had tapped into his tailed beast chakra, as he felt himself try and run quicker.

"Oh please you can't scare me with that! I was there when the real thing was sealed into Mito-sama compared to the genuine article, I don't fear you at all!" Sumi yelled but she couldn't hide fear from creeping into her voice.

"Oh, but you should." Suzuri didn't look back when he heard the chains made of his mothers chakra break. He didn't look back when he felt a blazing heat coming from behind him. He didn't look back as he heard the screams of his mother stop. He just kept running, looking for any one that could help, but he found no one.

Suzuri would never remember when he blacked out, but would always remember the shame of not being strong enough to help his mother.
