One week later 3rd POV
Cole and Marinette have been getting closer over the past week and been spending nights together. The class has been leaving Cole and Mari alone, but Lila has been trying to get them in trouble over small things. Cole has followed each of them home, just in case. The police had announced that Gabriel Agreste was Hawkmoth and Adrien was questioned, but released. Cole gave the Butterfly Miraculous, and the Peacock Miraculous to Marinette, after she told him that she was the Guardian. Cole and Marinette found out that Adrien was Cat Noir, so Cole took the Cat Miraculous and gave it back to Marinette. Marinette has gotten better with fighting. She can now use all her senses to see her surroundings, and react accordingly. Marinette is up in her room working on a jacket for Cole. It's a leather jacket that is thick in the chest to protect his heart. Meanwhile, Tom and Sabine are in the bakery cooking, when they hear the bell ring. "Coming," Tom calls. Tom finishes the macaroons and goes to the counter. He sees Lila, covered in blood and bruises, waiting. "Oh my God, what happened dear?" Tom asks her. Sabine came to see what was wrong. Lila brought out the fake tears, "M-Marinette beat me up after I caught her drinking," she told them. They looked mad and told Lila, "OK, we'll give her a stern talking to. Do you need us to call anyone?" Tom asked. She shakes her head and limps out. After a minute, Tom yelled out, "MARINETTE, GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" He was livid. After a minute Marinette vamp sped into the living room. She sees both of her parents looking at her in anger and disgust. "What's wrong dad?" She asks. "Why did you beat up your classmate?" Sabine asked. "Never did" Marinette retorts. "Well why is your classmate covered in blood and bruises? Tom asks in fury. "I don't know?" She responds. Tom loses his patience, he grabs a wooden spoon. He breaks it, then charges Marinette. Marinette reacts on instinct, and before she realizes it, her parents are dead. She looks horrified, she runs to her room and tries to call Cole.
Cole's apartment 3rd POV
Cole is asleep, but he is awakened by a noise. He darts up and grabs a wooden steak. He carefully looks around, then all of a sudden, a female vampire lands on him, she growls in his face. Then she starts laughing. "I scared you, Colton, don't lie." She said with a thick Russian accent. She was tall, thin, and any guy will be lucky to date her. She had a pixie haircut, and blonde hair. He shows his true face and growls, "No you didn't, Annika, and don't call me Colton." He says. He grabs some blood bags and tosses Annika one. "Wait how did you get in here," Cole asks in confusion. "I walked in," Annika replies. Cole goes into a panic."Come on we're heading to the bakery, looks like you're going to meet my girlfriend." She smiles and nods.
Marinette's room 3rd POV
Marinette is freaking out. Tikki and the kawaiis are trying to calm her down, but little success. She looks at Tikki, "Sorry" she says with tears in her eyes. Then she speeds away. Just then Cole comes in looking around and finds Tom and Sabine dead. Cole and Annika are shocked. "I'm going to check on Marinette. Call the cops and compel them that it was a robbery." Cole tells Annika. She nods and makes the call. Cole heads to Marinette's room, "Tikki, what happened?" "Lila happened" Tikki responds in anger. Cole nods and leaves.
Marinette's POV
I sped all the way to the park. I started to sob. 'Why did they attack me,' I ask myself. I saw a man approaching me, so I looked him in the eye, "Follow me," I compel. He follows me, "Now don't scream," I command. He nods and I bite into his neck. I drain him, and toss him aside. I check to see if he's dead and I head back home. On the way I hear, "MARINETTE, WHERE ARE YOU?" Then I see Cole speeding around. I yell, "over here." He sees me and runs towards me. He wraps me in a hug that I return. I tell him what happened and he tells me that Lila most likely caused it. We were both mad, so we went searching for Lila and her sheep.
The class Alya's POV
The class and I met up in the park to go get ice cream. We went to a nearby parlor and got a table. We chatted until we heard, "Hey, excuse me, can I sit with you all?" A teenager about 5'7, with short black hair, brown eyes, and a muscular body was looking at us. We looked at each other and nodded. "OK you can sit with us, but if you hurt my best friend, I'm hurting you worse." I threaten him. He nods and says, My name's Tyler." We introduce ourselves and then we see Mari-brat and her Pet come in. "Where is Lila?" She yells. Cole and Tyler then see each other, and they look to be ready to kill each other. "What are you doing here Jones?" Tyler asks with venom. "Ah, you know, Mystic Falls wasn't the same without your mom. You know, maybe if she learned how to swim, then maybe she would still be alive." Cole taunted. I heard Tyler growl, his eyes turned golden, and he charged Cole. The two fought violently. Tyler had the upper hand, then Mari-trash intervened, "Get off him," she yelled, and pulled Tyler off him. Tyler pushed her off, got on top of her then bit her arm. "NOOO!" Cole bellowed and knocked Tyler out. He then picked Mari-brat up and darted away.
