Part 6 - Trial of Edward Cullen #1
A/N: Gruesome and painful scenes will be written in this chapter, viewers and readers discretion is very advised to not read if you are underage.
Few weeks later, Eddie and Bella aswell his family went to Seattle, where the trial against Edward Cullen was taking place in, to be there, as Bella was both witness and victim of his serious crimes against herself but also what he did to her parents and step-father that night, but also show off her bump that had grown alot since the family of his saw her at the funeral, and the Blacks somehow had also gotten invited to it, she didnt know why or how, but she didnt care either for they were not her interest anymore, but Sam and Emily aswell Josh and Ali all came which shocked her to see them but the most shocking to see was Paul, Jared, Kim, Rachel, Sue and her children aswell Paul's father was also there to support her, as they all sat on her side of the court room, while very few of Edward's family members and very few friends sat on his side, but none of them looked over to their side yet.
After a few more minutes, the judge came out and all stood up in his honour, Bella was with her 2 lawyers and therapist at her side, and Eddie sat right behind her, keeping an eye and hand on her shoulder, just so she knew he was here to help if she needed him through this, as she was so much stronger now, that he and their family was there, but also her therapist, who just gave a soft smile towards the young woman next to herself, and also one to Eddie, who just smiled back at her equally softly.
The judge said then after all had sat down;
"Well welcome to the trial, Isabella Spears versus Edward Cullen, you, Edward Cullen, have been charged with 4 murders, 1 attempted murder and 1 count of attempted rape, how do you plea?" At that he said very snidely, almost proudly voice;
"Not guilty, my honour." The jugde gave a little look at the man, before saying
"So you say, now one of the witness to said murders, attempted murder and rape, is none other a neighbour, Mrs Sweetin, please." At that a woman slightly older than Matthew own age, came up and sat down, as she was sworn in, and then Bella's lawyer asked
"You were the one to call the cops, what was it that caused you to do so?"
"It was hearing Isabella's screams of no, please stop this, Edward PLEASE, STOP IT!, when I heard that, I knew this must be her ex-boyfriend who is here in this room, before me, with a smug grin on his ugly face (some gasps while he glared at the woman.) for I knew how he had broken Isabella's heart after dating for about 1 year, when he took her out in the woods behind our houses, and left her there to die basically, as I remember when Samuel Uley came out carrying her semi-lifeless body out of there, and I was shocked but also very angry for what he put her through. Anyways, after I heard that, and also some strange noises that I can identify is slapping noises of being slapped in your face, I call the cops, for not only was it Isabella there, her parents, Renee and Charles Swan, the town's own police chief there, and I was getting worried for I didnt hear their screams either, so I was worried for Isabella's safety, aswell theirs."
Making the lawyer nodded his head, as he then said
"I have a few evidence proving that Edward was in the house of the time the crimes went on, as Isabella's father being the Police Chief went ahead with a having a security system with cameras all around the house and property, so if you allow it, your honour, I would like to play the events of what happened in the house, please." At that the judge as Edward started shift around his seat, and trying not look scared or angry, or even proud or smiling at this being soon played. Bella on other hand turned around to Eddie, her husband, who just pulled her into his lap, as the videos was being played, so they all in the room got to see how he sat in a tree outside of what was known Bella's old bedroom now turned into a guest bedroom, and sat there watching the house, while waiting for the people in it to come home, as he also realised that the window had been changed and was locked from inside making it difficult to climb in like before so he had to sit there and wait for the Swan's to come home that evening.
Soon after 2 cars pulled up to the house, and out came Bella, Renée, Phil and Charlie, and everyone could also see a clear baby-bump on Renée's midsection, and they all seems to be smiling happily and chatting about something that made them all smile happily. Soon the videos turned to what was filmed inside of the house, as the doorbell was being rung on, and when Bella opened the door, they all could see the clear anger, as she began shouting something at Edward who stood there, and he tried to get inside of the house, and soon enough he was inside of the house, and was stabbing her father first, when Renée and Phil came out of the kitchen to see what was going on, Edward went for them, and they all could see Bella's crying and screaming at him, while he attacked Phil, which caused Renée drop down to a fetal position but before she could do more, Edward was ontop of her, and stabbing everywhere including the stomach area visously. Bella kept on screaming for him and trying to pull him off her mother, but all the sudden they saw him go for her, and she fought for her life and the babies' life she was unknowningly at the time fighting for their life, as he started to tug at her clothes, as the cops came in and pulled him off her, and a female officer went for her side and helped her out of the floor, and was more or less carried outside by one of the male cops to an ambulance, while Edward handcuffed and footcuffed carried to the other ambulance, while those went off for the hospital, the coroner's truck came rolling in, and the cameras went black after that.
Most of the people sat with green faces and some had to leave to be violent sick outside in the bathrooms, as the jugde even was very moved of what he had been shown and clearly been lied to by the prepator himself in this room too. His family on the other hand was shocked but no more emotions than that on their faces. Eddie still held her in his arms, rocking her gently, as his parents were too ill to look up for the moment, while his sister had been one of those who had run out to be sick, while Ryan went after her too. The others of the family sat there in shock and anger of what they had seen of what had happened to Bella and her parents who are the innocents to everything even Bella is.
The judge asked for a little break to gather his thoughts and let the people in the room also gather their own thoughts and be ready for next part of the trial. Edward was lead out of the room to another room next door of the courtroom, so they could keep a close eye on him.
