Spider-Man runs past a confused Peter Quill and around the corner, hand sticking to the wall momentarily to help him whip around without losing momentum. Right behind him is his partner in crime, Bucky Barnes.

"Told you that was a bad idea." He pants.

Spidey just cackles, hopping up onto an orange car and jumping up to swing up onto a street lamp. This corner of the Soul Stone is filled with mostly civilians, so its very urban in it's design.

Spidey lowers a stand of web for his friend to grab and pull himself up. The street lamp widens to accomodate the both of them, flattening to form a bench they can sit comfortably on.

Grinning from behind his mask, Spidey says, "Did you see their faces? Totally worth it."

Stiffiling his own grin, Bucky shakes his head.

Down the street, from around the corner they just came from, Simmons and Shuri appear. Neither woman looking particularly happy about their new outfits.

Unlike everything else in the Soul Stone, except bananas and bunkbeds, clothes couldn't be created. Whatever an individual was wearing when they were snapped from existance was what they wore day in and day out in the Stone. (hopefully you weren't in the shower at the time) Whatever it was about the Stone that allowed people to shape the world around them also made it so they never needed to worry about their clothes getting dirty and smelling. It was convinent.

Until a certain arachnid and Winter Soldier replaced your clothes with someone eles's while you were swimming.

There was an alien cultures that once every ten of their planet's years would wrap themselves in layers upon layers of fabric to celebrate a change in leadership. The layers were believed to protect them from the ill will of the old leader who really didn't want to give up their position.

Not needing these extra fabrics, the aliens used them to trade for items others had in their pockets or bags when they were dusted. The fabrics added a nice splash of variety to their tangerine world.

The fabrics ranged in color and pattern from beautiful intricate designs to outlandish and almost painful to look at. From delicate flowers to dizzying swirls.

It cost Spidey a pretty penny (literally), but it was worth it.

Shuri sported a pastel pink, highlighter green, and glittering purple fabric wrapped around her body. The fabric was long enough that she could wear it as a dress. If it weren't for the alternating polka dot and stripe pattern, it would even look nice.

Simmons wore her fabric similarly, but seemed to be having trouble keeping hers up. She also didn't seem to be a fan of the paper white square pattern over the wavy brick red and perry the platapus torquoise gradient.

Seeing them angrily march towards them in their colorful get-ups just caused the two pranksters to burst out laughing. When Spidey fell back, hanging by his knees, Bucky just laughed all the harder.

Peter Quill, who'd come to check out what was going on, let out a few snickers of his own.

Shuri and Simmons were not amused.

It was then, as Bucky was helping the spider back up and their chuckles were dying down, that things took a new turn.

All laughing ceased when a green glow enveloped the five. For a moment they just stared at each other in confusion.

Shuri glared up at Spider-Man. "What is this? Is this another one of your pranks?"

He shook his head. "This isn't me!"

No one else gets the chance to figure out who's behind the glow before they're blinded by it suddenly getting brighter.

Blinking their eyes open, they discover the results of the glow.

"Again!?"

"At least I'm wearing pants again."

"What? How!?"

Bucky takes his eyes off Starlord's outfit he's now wearing to stare at his young friend. "Again?"

Spider-Man blushes and ducks his head to hide behind his now visible hair. He awkwardly slides down the lamp pole while doing his best to keep the skirt from hiking up.

When the glow had faded, they all found their outfits switched. Spider-Man now wore Shuri's wrap dress, Simmons wore Bucky's clothes, Starlord wore Simmons' dress, Bucky wore Starlord's excessivly leather outfit, and Shuri now had Spidey's super suit.

All were very confused, but the girls were happy to have pants again at least.

They refused to return them, choosing instead to laugh at Spidey's attempts to keep the dress up and Starlord's posing. Starlord wasn't even mad about the dress. He kinda liked it.

He wanted his jacket back though. Bucky handed it back to him. He didn't need it and it was uncomfortable on his prosthetic.

Unseen and unheard by the group was a tall man hiding in the shadows of a nearby alley. He chuckled before turning and walking away.

What other mischeif could he cause here?
