Ten years after the war with the apes; a young human, Ethan Reese, survives a brutal bear attack in the Muir Woods that ends the lives of his parents. Taken to Caesar's newly rebuilt colony, he is lovingly raised by the kind, older orangutan Maurice for the next nine years as his own son. However, things become complicated upon the abrupt return of other humans to the Muir Woods.

I'd like to thank you all for still reading my stories, I've missed you all but I have decided not to move forward with my old fics. It's not that I don't love them - it's simply been so long that I don't want to give subpar continuations.
