As they exited the speeder, Danny spoke up, "This is Clockworks' tower. He's the ghost of time. He's helped me fix things when they've been really bad. He was the one that had the idea we're going to tell you about." He knocked on the door, it opened automatically. Danny led the way through the tower to the room they had been through before. "Hello Clockwork. Mr. Lancer, this is Clockwork the ghost of time. Clockwork you already know who this is." "Hello Daniel, Mr. Lancer. I asked Daniel to bring you here so that for him to be graded truthfully on the last two years of work. My idea was that you could grade him through the work of those school years in the span of two months once this school year has ended. You and Daniel will come here for two months and he can be under no distractions while here so he can truly concentrate." Mr. Lancer listened carefully as Clockwork spoke. It was a few minutes before he said anything. "I think the idea is a wonderful idea. I know that Danny was very bright but because of the secrecy I couldn't understand why he was not being true to himself. Now I do. I would be happy to do this. Now that it is only a few weeks until the end of your sophomore year I won't truly count that until we come here. Though who will watch the town while he and I are here?" The others all smiled when he asked this. "First a few things you need to know. Valerie has been hunting ghosts for about a year. Sam has her own ghost powers. I also have a daughter that is also Sam's but we didn't have any part in her being here except for our DNA. Vlad tried to make a clone of me and she was the result because he managed to get some of Sams' DNA as well. She is in the process of deaging to her proper age. And Tucker is making his own suit to help. Along with my parents. They will all help protect the town while we are here. Once the end of the first month is up I will also have Jazz watch Dani since she will be her correct age then. We can finish all of the work, I can be graded trustfully and go into my junior year with the proper grades." Mr. Lancer looked surprised at all the information that was told to him. "Very well. This is going to be interesting."
As they made the way back to the Fenton Portal Danny spoke up. "I know you all have been thinking about the last few days. More on the past few years since I've become Phantom. Look, I know I should've said what happened and I really wish I had. But I can't change it. Or at least I doubt Clockwork will let me after I got erased from existence that one time. So I know that I can speak freely when I say I'm sorry I couldn't keep my grades up and snuck out of the house or class when I should've just told the truth then. I'm just glad I can open up now. The only problem I can only think about right now is: How the heck am I going to raise a kid?" While Danny was speaking, his parents and Mr. Lancer were all silent thinking about what he was telling them. When he finished speaking they all kind of laughed. Mr. Lancer finally spoke up, "Well, knowing that we can't change the past, I think now we can all just accept what happened to move forward. You will finally be graded appropriately and be able to move to your last two years of school with a good support system. As for the child aspect, you will need to include Samantha in those plans obviously. And I can speak to the school to let them know that you and Samantha may miss a few days not on your accord but the childs'. It will be very difficult, however, knowing that you saved the town many times over and still managed a decent gpa I doubt you'll fail at that task." As Mr. Lancer finished speaking they arrived back at the house. "Thank you sir." Danny spoke up and led him to the door. He then went back to the lab to finish this conversation with his parents. "What about you guys? What do you think?" He asked looking at his mother first then his dad. "Jack was the first to speak up, "Well as Mr. Lancer said, we do wish you had told us but understand why you didn't. We know we can't change that. So I'm happy to say we will fully support you and Sam with raising Dani. But we will also make sure you stay on top of your grades until you finish school. I think you should head over to Sam's place to talk to her about Dani and take her with you too. This way you can all be on the same page." Danny then looked to his mother. She nodded then said, "There's really not much to say that your father and Mr. Lancer have already said. Except that if you ever change the past where you or your sister don't exist again I will ground you until your coronation for the zone. That is not something I approved of with that timeline." "Noted mom." He then changed to Phantom form and flew through the house to get Dani.
