Sydney and Olive were walking down the street together as Sydney said, "So how is being a room-mate with Emmy going?" Olive smiled as she said, "Great. Despite how sad she is about her parents kicking out, she has just been so sweet and helpful around the house." Then Sydney and Olive passed by two girls their age that starred at them for a moment but then moved on. Sydney then felt her stomach as she said, "Oh God. Are we starting to show?" Then Olive looked down as she said, "I don't think so." Then Sydney rubbed her forehead as she said, "Oh God. What am I gonna do when I do start showing at school? What if people start making fun of me or call me a whore or something?" Then Olive said, "Well you should really join the home school group my mom is making me and Emmy join next semester. We'll be doing school from home, but will still get to do a few activities and lessons with other teens our age a couple of hours every week. You and Sophia should do it too. It might really take the edge of your anxiety. Plus, home-schooling would allow you to be more flexible for doctor's visits and stuff like that." Sydney then said, "Hmm. That does sound appealing. I'll talk to my dad about it." Then Sydney almost lost her balance for a moment as Olive said, "Whoa. You okay?" Sydney looked at Olive and said, "Yeah. Just feeling a little over-whelmed. I mean... I'm worried this nine month period of pregnancy is gonna fly by fast."

*Two Weeks Later:

Harry walked into a small furniture store. An older man was sitting near the counter as he said, "Hello there son. How can I help you?" Harry then said, "You're Mr. Scott right? I'm Harry. The new assistant your son hired." The old man: Mr. Scott then said, "Oh yes. My boy told me good things about you. Said he was impressed with someone so young who was more interested in working hard versus just dancing on the tik tok all day." Then Harry said, "Well I need to start making some serious savings as soon as possible, and I don't want to waste any time screwing around." Then Mr. Scott said, "Well, then lets get your training started."

*Four Weeks Later:

Sophia was sitting in her room alone looking at several brochures in front of her. Sophia then picked up one brochure with the headline: Thinking About Adoption. Sophia then put the brochure down, put a hand on her stomach, and then began to cry.

*Five Weeks Later:

Emmy sat alone in a bedroom as she dialed a number on her cell phone. Emmy then heard a clicking sound and then said, "Mom. It's Emmy. Listen, I just want to say..." Then Emmy heard the line go dead. Tears appeared in Emmy's eyes as Olive came around the open doorway to the bedroom showing she had been listening. Emmy turned to look at Olive, as Olive sat next to Emmy and said, "Emmy... I'm so sorry." Then Emmy burst into tears and began to sob as she hugged Olive tightly.

*Three Weeks Later:

Sydney walked out of a small building towards a car where her father Max was parked. As Sydney got into the car Max said, "Well you look a little happier today." Then Sydney said, "Well my new friend Cherie and me had a lot of fun studying for our biology test." Then Max said, "Well I'm glad you're enjoying spending time with your fellow home school friends." Then Sydney said, "Yeah. I mean I still wanna go back to normal school next year. But the fact that Cherie and the other girls didn't make fun of me for being pregnant... I don't know, it kind of made me realize I might actually still have a good life once I become a mother."

*Two Weeks Later:

Harry was sitting outside of the small furniture store sanding a newly built rocking chair. Mr. Scott then stepped outside as he said, "I see you've enjoyed working outside in the fresh air." Harry then stood up as he said, "Yeah. I mean I thought you wouldn't mind." Then Mr. Scott smiled as he said, "Are you kidding me? More customers are walking in because they can see how we actually make the furniture here and are asking more questions about them, and buying more. You're really helping this place out a lot Harry." Harry smiled as he said, "Thanks."

*Four Weeks Later:

Sophia sat at the kitchen table facing her mother with her face hung low. Sophia's mother then said, "So lets be clear Sophia. Are you sure you want to do this?" Sophia nodded as she said, "Yes. I'm completely sure." Sophia's mother sighed and then said, "Well... just know that you are completely allowed to back out of this decision even up until the last minute. So take a lot of time to think this through. Okay?" Sophia sighed and said, "Okay."

*Six Weeks Later:

Sydney, Olive, Emmy, Sophia, and Harry all stood in graduation attire with caps and gowns. The five were all standing in Sydney's back yard while taking pictures of them were Max, Judy, Olive's mom, Sophia's mom, and Harry's two parents. Then Sydney held her hands up and said, "Okay, okay. That's enough photos. We graduated from middle school. We didn't get elected to Congress or something. No need for all this crazy ceremony." Then as the parents put their cameras down, Judy said, "But this isn't just your middle school graduation party. It's your surprise baby shower too!" A surprised but happy looking Sydney then said, "What?" Then suddenly Harry and his parents pulled a blanket off of four new baby cribs filled with blankets, clothes, and diapers. The four girls all walked towards the cribs as Olive said, "Oh my gosh. You guys, thank you so much." Then Emmy said, "These cribs look brand new. Where did you buy them?" Then Harry smiled as he said, "I didn't. I built them at my new job. Mr. Scott says I'm a natural. Plus he gives me commission for anything I build, and since business is good: buying all these clothes and essential items was no big deal." Then Sydney looked at Harry excitedly as she said, "Wait. You bought all this Harry?" Harry then said, "Yeah. I mean it's not everything our kids will need but..." Then Sydney instantly hugged Harry tightly as she made a big smile and said, "Harry, you're the best." Meanwhile Sophia put her two hands on a crib as tears began to appear in her eyes.

*Four Weeks Later:

Olive was being pushed in a wheelchair in a hospital hallway looking panicked as she said, "Oh my God. It's coming. It's coming. Oh dear God, what am I doing?" Olive's mother walked beside Olive as she said, "Don't panic Olive. Just think calm thoughts." Then Olive with a look of panic yelled, "I can't mom! I'm about to have a freaking baby! Ahhh!" Then Harry appeared from nearby running over to Olive as he said, "Olive, I'm here. Do you want me to..." Then Olive with a look of panic on her face just looked at Harry and yelled, "Gahhhh!" Then Olive's mom looked at Harry as she said, "Better just let me and the doctors be with her. I'll call you as soon as something happens." Harry then walked away and went over to Sydney who was at the end of a long hallway. When Harry reached Sydney he said, "Well Olive sure is in a state of panic, but there's apparently nothing wrong with her outside of that. So did you call Emmy and Sophia already?" Sydney nodded while remaining very still as she said, "Um... Emmy has apparently just started going into labor too. Looks like her stomach pains she was complaining about were actually contractions. And... oh no." A concerned looking Harry then said, "What is it Sydney?" Sydney looking a little freaked out said, "Harry, my water just broke." Then suddenly from around the corner Sophia's mother appeared and said, "Oh, glad I found you two. Sophia just started going into labor. I heard you both were here and... wait. Sydney, did you just..." Harry now looked freaked out as well as he yelled, "We need a nurse right now!"

*Three Hours Later:

Olive was in a hospital bed surrounded by doctors and her mother. As Olive began to breathe deeply she yelled, "Oh my God. Oh my God. I'm gonna die!" Then Olive's mother squeezed Olive's hand as she said, "You're not gonna die Olive. These feelings are normal during child birth." Then Olive looked up at the ceiling as she said, "Oh God. What if something goes wrong? What if I screw it up? What if I screw my child's life completely up?" Then Olive's mom squeezed Olive's hand as she said, "You're not gonna be alone Olive. You got this."

*Fifteen Minutes Later:

Emmy was laying in a room surrounded by doctors as Judy and Harry's mother stepped inside. Judy then stood near Emmy as she said, "How are you doing sweety?" Emmy was breathing heavily as she said, "Just had another contraction. It was really rough this time." Then Harry's mother said, "Well are you still sure you don't want Harry in here with you?" Emmy turned her head as she said, "No. He should be with Sydney. But were either of you able to get through to my parents?" Judy sighed and said, "I'm sorry sweety." Then Emmy suddenly had a look of pain appear across her face as she said, "Oh God, here comes another contraction." Emmy then had a look of pain come across her face as Harry's mother said, "Do you want me to get you anything Emmy?" Emmy turned her head and said, "No. This is gonna be hard, but I'm gonna get through this. I will get through this."

*Thirty Minutes Later:

Sophia was sitting up in a bed in a hospital room surrounded by doctors and her mother, while she began to scream very loudly. Sophia's mother put her hands on Sophia's shoulders and said, "It's okay sweety. Just lie back." Then tears came from Sophia's eyes as she said, "I can't do this. I don't wanna be a mom. I can't be a mom. This can't be happening." Then Sophia's mom said, "Look, we can talk about what's going to happen long-term later. But you are giving birth right now!" Then one of the doctors said, "Come on Sophia. You need to push now." Then Sophia closed her eyes as she screamed, "Ahhhh! This can't be happening. This can't be happening." Then Sophia's mother held Sophia's hand as she said, "Come on Sophia. You can do this. Just keep pushing." Sophia kept her eyes closed tight, but tears still escaped through her eye lids as she said, "This can't be happening. I can't be a mom. I can't!"

*Ten Minutes Later:

Sydney was laying in a hospital bed surrounded by several doctors along with Max and Harry. As Max and Harry each held Sydney's two hands, Sydney was sweating and breathing heavily as Max said, "Come on Syd. You're almost there." Then Harry said, "You got this Syd. You're doing amazing." Sydney made a little smile as she said, "Dad, I love you so much. And Harry, thank so much for being here." Then a doctor said, "Okay Sydney. One big push right now!" Then Sydney closed her eyes as she yelled, "Ahhhh!"

*Six Hours Later:

Sydney lay in a bed holding a tiny new born baby girl in her arms. Sydney kept one hand on the baby girl's back as she kept her eyes completely fixated on the newborn's tiny face. Harry then stepped into the room as he quietly said, "Hey. Is she still asleep?" Sydney nodded as she said, "Yeah. I never knew watching any living being sleep could be so beautiful. So, how are the other Amigas?" Harry smiled as he said, "All the births went fine. Olive, Emmy, and Sophia all give birth to three beautiful little baby girls." Sydney's eyes lit up as she said, "A new generation of four amigas!? That's wonderful." Then Harry said, "Honestly, I was so freaked out this morning when all four of you went into labor at the same time. But getting a chance to hold four new-born children one after another... I mean... it was just powerful." Then Sydney said, "I wish I could get up and meet those other little ones right now." Then Harry pointed to a giant TV screen nearby Sydney's bed and said, "Well actually, I was able to work out a little arrangement with the hospital staff."

Then Harry turned on the TV, and then Sydney realized suddenly she was on a video call with Olive, Emmy, and Sophia each sitting in their own respective hospital rooms, and each were also holding a baby newborn girl. An excited looking Sydney then said, "Oh my gosh. Hi everybody. Oh wow. Your babies look so beautiful." As Olive stroked the back of her newborn girl she said, "I know. I mean I thought I knew what beauty really was, but once I took a long look at this little one... everything changed." Then Emmy said, "So are you doing okay Sydney?" Sydney nodded as she said, "Yeah. Breast feeding for the first time was really weird. But my grandma told me that it's something you get used to. How are you doing Sophia? You look a little shook up." Sophia looking a little nervous said, "Well child-birth for me was... quite rough. Still trying to process though what's gonna happen to me and Ella next." Then Emmy looking excited said, "Your girls' name is Ella!? That's such a cute name that suits her so well." Then Sophia looking a bit caught off guard said, "Oh. Thanks."

Then Sydney said, "Well what did the rest of you name your girls?" Then Olive said, "Well, child-birth for me felt really, really scary the whole way through. But once I put eyes upon this little one and laid her on my body, I just feel all the fear and anxiety melt away and I felt this sense of peace and calmness. I mean... it truly does feel like to me now there really is a higher power out there that really is gonna watch over us today and for the rest of our lives. So I decided to name my daughter after that word that best describes how I now feel. Everyone, meet my daughter: Serenity." Then Emmy said, "Well over these last nine months, I've felt like I had no hope, but you all and your families have brought that hope back to my life. So I've named my daughter after the Spanish word for hope. Everyone, meet my daughter: Esperanza." Then Sydney said, "Well... I wanted to give my daughter the name of the best woman in the world I could think of. I thought hard about it but eventually realized there was only one name I could pick. Everyone, meet my daughter... Alisha." Emmy smiled as she said, "Sydney... I'm sure your mom would completely approve." Olive smiled too, while Sophia looking a little troubled, picked up a remote and said, "Um... I'm feeling really tired now, and I think Ella is gonna wake up. But glad you all are doing good." Then Sophia turned off her TV and laid back in her bed a bit. As Sophia looked at her baby: Ella laying on her chest, Sophia sighed and said, "I'm sorry for what I'm about to do. But I can't be a mother to you Ella. I just can't."
