Hey ya'll! I don't have much to say, however, your support for this fanfiction is incredible! Literally, thank you all for taking the time out of your day to read my first ever story! You guys are incredible! Don't forget to vote on the poll on my profile page, whether you want Naruto in this story to have a Harem or just be paired with a single person! Anyways, this is the second and last part of chapter one, where we will focus on the confrontation between Kinua Kaizo and Naruto Okami Kitsune.
This is going to be the first time ever for me to be writing fight scenes, so please don't judge too much/hard if there's going to be a couple of mistakes made. Constructive Criticism and tips for improvement would be appreciated! Obviously they are gonna be basic because the characters are only academy/school students.

Arc One: Ninja 101
Chapter One – The First Day
Part Two – To Purify a Darkened Heart
Last time on Naruto Kitsune – Heir To The Kitsune Clan:
"So! How this is going to work, is that we are going to have a boys vs boys and a girls vs girls tournament but remember! Later, you will have to get used to fighting the opposite gender because if you hesitate to hurt a female who is the enemy, you will either be captured or killed, simple as that" Bruno explained.
"The life of a ninja is not fair, and a ninja doesn't play by the rules unlike a samurai" Bruno finished and everyone nodded in understanding.
"Alright then, if you are all ready, let this Taijutsu assessment get underway" Kinzoku said and the ninja in training had determined looks on their faces.
"Remember, this is only an assessment, not a competition kits" Bruno reminded as he went over to the other end of the ring to act as the overseer and also to stop any fights that go too far.
"The way to win in this assessment if you either knock your opponent out of the ring, or if your opponent is unable to continue and please do not go all out, this is to avoid serious injury and your safety" Kinzoku stated and everyone nodded in agreement.
"Good, now, Kana Misuami and Ichigo Kitana, please make your way to the ring" Kinzoku ordered and the two kunoichi in training obliged.
"Make the seal of confrontation" Bruno said and the two girls did just that in the middle, before jumping to their sides of the ring.
"You ready Ichigo? Even though we've been friends for a little while now, I'm not going to go easy on you" Kana smirked.
"Don't worry Kana! The next thing you know, you're going to be on the floor crying like a little baby!" Ichigo taunted with a big grin.
"Tch! Start this match already so I can kick her butt!" Kana said impatiently countering Ichigo's grin with her own.
"Alright, may the match between Kana and Ichigo…" Kinzoku paused for dramatic effect as the two girls got ready to charge at each other.
"Begin!" Kinzoku shouted while doing a slashing motion with his hand and jumped away from the action, while the two kunoichi in training charged at each other almost instantly.
Once the two met in the middle, Kana tried a roundhouse kick with her right leg to Ichigo's side, however, Ichigo managed to block it with a leg block with her right arm. This left Kana vulnerable to a slash to her stomach from Ichigo which Kana then blocked with a downwards chop, which put a stop to Ichigo's clawed slash. This gave Kana time to backflip out of the predicament that she got caught up in a little ways away from Ichigo.
"Not bad for a newbie" Ichigo taunted a little, which worked when a tick mark appeared on the left side of her forehead.
"I am not a newbie!" She growled out.
"Then prove it!" Ichigo smirked.
"Alright, fine!" She shouted and made her move by making a charge towards Ichigo.
Ichigo expected that charge, so she prepared by extending her bright green tail, did a three sixty degree turn and grabbed her own tail with both hands and made a sweep towards Kana's legs, who never even expected such a move from her friend and tripped and started falling face first, though Kana managed to save herself some trouble by catching her fall with her hands and doing a front flip. When Kana was just recovered from that event and turning herself back to face Ichigo, she noticed that her friend was already upon her, ready to slash Kana with her claws.
"Double Cross Slash!" Ichigo shouted and made a beeline towards Kana's stomach.
However, due to how flexible Kana is, she managed to bend her back in an arch, causing Ichigo's attack to miss. As Ichigo was flying over Kana's arched body, she saw her wild smirk as clear as day, and realised what was going on as soon as she saw Kana's right leg move up. Time seemed to move in slow motion for Ichigo, as she couldn't find a way to break free from this situation. A hard kick to Ichigo's stomach was enough to send her flying away from Kana, with Ichigo wheezing out some of the air that was forced out of her lungs. When Ichigo fell to the hard ground on her back with a thump, she was breathing heavily as she tried to get the oxygen back into her. She looked up to Kana, who was holding her hand out and kindly accepted the help.
"You okay?" Kana asked with concern.
"Yeah, I just need to rest now" She answered.
"Ichigo is unable to continue, so the winner is Kana!" Bruno shouted for Kinzoku with a grin on his face as all the students clapped. Naruto was very impressed, that was a match worth to be recorded in his memories.
"Now, make the seal of reconciliation" Kinzoku ordered and the girls done just that before making their way back to their spots.
"You two were pretty awesome, I was really on the edge of my seat" Naruto complimented, which made the two girls slightly blush at the praise from the one and only to which Naruto inwardly sighed for making that simple mistake as opening his stupid mouth.
"Thanks Naruto-kun~!" They both teased in a sing-song voice in unison, which made Naruto slightly tense up, thinking that they were another set of fangirls.
"You can ease yourself, we're not part of the fangirl club" Kana said reassuringly.
"Yeah, we take our kunoichi training seriously" Ichigo added which made Naruto visibly relax.
"Thank goodness" Naruto sighed and the two just giggled.
"I've had enough of them already" Naruto stated.
"I can't wait to see you in action though Naruto" Kana said with a big grin.
"Yeah! I fell in love with those mana techniques you did back on the Ninjutsu test, I can't wait to see what you can do in Taijutsu" Ichigo commented.
Naruto just rubbed his head sheepishly. "Well… you'll see soon enough, my parents have been teaching me all kinds of things before the school opened up, and one of them is their very own taijutsu style" Naruto explained with a grin.
"Okay then, can't wait to see it!" Kana said, returning his grin with her own, while Ichigo just nodded in agreement.
The rest of the taijutsu fights actually intrigued Naruto and the two girls that decided to hang out with him. The most intriguing ones being the family kids. As usual, Naruto reminded himself to ask his parents about them later. There was this one tough kitsune who used a taijutsu style based on his pure raw strength, in order to knock his opponent out of the ring. If Naruto remembered correctly, his name was Yozu Tsuyoi. Another was a kitsune that screamed the word 'lazy', kind of like a Nara. He nearly looked identical to Kinzoku, to the point that Naruto thought that they were brothers! His name was Taida Kan, and he was about to give up because he didn't feel like fighting, however, a stern look from Kinzoku was just enough to make Taida change his mind. That confirmed Naruto's suspicions that they were indeed related.
Taida Kan won against his opponent using a style that relies on feint attacks, and of course using his brain that the Kan family are known for. The last and final kid however interested Naruto the most, especially her eyes. Although they were slits, they changed colour to a complete bright pink. She was known as Tereki Shisu. The Shisu family were known throughout the Kitsune Village as the prodigies of the telekinetic arts. They are well known for powers of possession, enhanced illusory prowess, flight using their prowess, future sight, teleportation and use their trade mark ability: telekinesis. The visual prowess is known as the Daisan'nome, or the Third Eye. The Shisu family is the only other family with a Dojutsu, with the other being the Kaizo family. The way Tereki won was with a taijutsu style based around her visual prowess and her ability future sight, which only allows her to see a few seconds into the future.
"Wow, now that's what I call a dance" Naruto complimented with the two girls nodding in agreement.
"So troublesome… when is this assessment going to be over?" Taida grumbled out as he wandered over to where Naruto, Kana and Ichigo were.
"You did well too Taida" Kana complimented with a sweat drop at his antics.
"You really are like that Konoha Nara Clan" A new voice came from behind Naruto, which made him slightly jump.
"Gah! Don't scare me like that!" Naruto raised his voice slightly as he turned around, to see none other than Tereki Shisu.
"I apologise sincerely Naruto-sama, I just can't help but do that to some from time to time" Tereki said and bowed in apology.
"Please, enough with the -sama, I hate formalities and you can just call me Naruto" Naruto said with a smile on his face, while Taida just sighed at the Nara compliment from Tereki.
"Hey you guys!" A jolly kitsune kid came running towards the new group.
"What is this? A family gathering?" The kid asked.
"No, we just all decided to hang around Yozu" Taida explained.
'I'm starting to feel slightly uncomfortable at this kind of attention' Naruto thought to himself.
"Oh, I see! May I join?" Yozu asked.
"Sure thing" Tereki responded and Yozu smiled.
The groups moment was ruined however as the next and final match before the end of school was announced.
"Naruto Okami Kitsune and Kinua Kaizo" Kinzoku announced.
Naruto sighed deeply in annoyance, he was hoping he wouldn't have to face the one kid who despises him and his family.
"I really don't want to face him, but I guess I have no choice" Naruto said.
"Why is that?" Yozu asked.
"Because for some reason, this guy really hates me and I have no idea why" Naruto explained and the group nodded in understanding, as they know how Naruto can sense emotions.
The tension in the air was high as the two boys entered the ring. It was a stare-down, Naruto bore a serious look, while Kinua was smirking like a madman.
'I'm going to show this loser who the real top fox is around here!' Kinua thought to himself, still smirking about beating the Kitsune Family kid.
'His hatred towards me doesn't feel natural' Naruto thought, his eyes narrowed in suspicion.
"Alright you two, make the seal of confrontation" Kinzoku said, and the two boys on the opposite sides made the half tiger seal in reluctance, making Kinzoku sigh but nodded in approval anyways.
"Are the two fighters ready?" Kinzoku asked, and the two boys nodded.
"Hajime!" Kinzoku shouted and jumped back to avoid being caught in the crossfire of the two students.
The two just stood there, analysing each other, while each of them got into their own taijutsu stances. Naruto's nails on both his hands and feet sharpened with the help of his chakra, while going down on all fours like it was completely natural for him, preparing for a hunt. That is the famous Kitsune taijutsu style, the Ryōshi or 'Hunter' style. Kind of like the Inuzuka's four legs technique, the hunter style uses no chakra at all, but requires way more flexibility and power behind the strikes, also grants a permanent speed boost unless he goes out of the style. It's a natural taijutsu style that is only inheritable in the Kitsune Family.
"Is that the…" Bruno whispered to himself, just enough for Kinzoku to hear.
"Yes, the infamous Kitsune style of the Kitsune Family" Kinzoku finished for him.
"Never thought that Naruto would be this flexible that Kurama and Inari decided to teach him this" Bruno stated, while Kinzoku just nodded in agreement.
Kinua Kaizo got into his own stance, his right leg back while his left stayed at the front. His right hand was positioned in a way that blocked his face, while his left was facing the floor. His palms formed chakra scalpels, which acted as his blades. This was the Kaizo family's Mikadzuki style, also known as the crescent moon style. The reason behind the name, is the way he's standing at a slight arch, which requires a little flexibility. The style is very creative, able to create many new attacks from scratch and it is very effective if a sharp weapon is used with the style, making it more deadly in the process. This style also relies on a Dojutsu, making this style also unpredictable.
Naruto made the first move, making a few subtle hand gestures with his left hand, while whispering in the unknown language, casting his technique.
Un → Zo → Et → Cha "Vampirism!" Naruto shouted and was surrounded by a purple aura, before making a mad dash for Kinua on all fours, leaving a trial of dust behind.
"Using Vampirism with the hunter style is a deadly combination" Kinzoku analysed, while Bruno just nodded in agreement. Naruto has been allowed to use that mana technique by the sensei's, since it is part of Naruto's taijutsu style.
Kinua's eyes were watching Naruto like a hawk, before he slashed down with his left arm just as Naruto reached him. Naruto rolled to the right to avoid the slash from Kinua, who expected this outcome, so decided to lash out with his right. Naruto barely blocked the attack as he recovered with his left arm. However, since Naruto had Vampirism active still, he was winning in the struggle. Kinua decided to end this quickly and punch Naruto in the stomach with his left hand, though missed as Naruto back flipped away.
Once Naruto was at a safe distance away, he breathed in some air and sprung into the air as high as he could, completely going over Kinua before landing on all fours behind him and made a slash towards Kinua's back. Kinua realised a little too late when he heard that whistle of wind, turned around and blocked the slash with a cross block. He stifled a whimper as he saw the cuts on his arms appear and that's when he realised that the match was over. Naruto's Vampirism also ran out at that moment.
"Winner by taking first blood, Naruto Okami Kitsune" Kinzoku announced and everyone clapped their hands at the match, while the fangirls of course cheered for Naruto. When all of the cheering and clapping died down, Kinzoku spoke again.
"Now make the seal of reconciliation" Kinzoku said. Naruto nodded and went up to Kinua, who was completely frozen and staring at his bleeding arms.
"Let me fix that" Naruto offered as he started on the weird hand gestures and saying words in the mysterious language.
Do → Un → Ro "Lesser Heal" Naruto said gently and a blue like spark came flying out of his being and into Kinua, making him glow slightly blue and his gashes vanished, turning them only into scratch marks.
Kinua was just staring at the smiling red-white headed kid, dumbfounded by his actions. He looked, conflicted. Naruto was now holding his hand in the reconciliation seal, but in the end, Kinua couldn't take his loss, so he bashed Naruto's hand away, running off into the dark, green deep forest with tears threatening to break loose. Naruto's eyes narrowed further at this action, it wasn't natural, so he took off after him.
"Hey kits! Wait up! You can't go in there! That forest is full of dangerous youkai!" Bruno shouted; however, they were already out of his hearing range.
"Damn it!" Bruno cursed under his breath.
"What should we do boss?" Kinzoku asked.
"Go and notify Kurama-sama, while I go after them, keep in touch with me through telepathy" Bruno whispered and Kinzoku nodded.
"Alright kits! School is over for today; tomorrow is going to be our first class together. You may all go home!" Bruno shouted with a smile on his and the students cheered as they all filed out back into the school and out of the main front doors. The family kids stayed for a little while, but when Bruno reassured them everything is going to be fine with their new friends, they reluctantly nodded and left as well. Although, they were worried for their friend's safety.
-Youkai Forest-
"Kinua!" Naruto shouted his name in concern, his call was not answered as Kinua continued to run.
"Kinua! You can tell me everything! I'll listen! Just stop running from your problems!" Naruto begged and he suddenly stopped and turned around slowly until he was staring at Naruto with intense hatred. Something was definitely off about Kinua, his eyes are a dull colour, as opposed to his usual bright orange.
"Just look at you!" Kinua shouted.
"Always being pampered and showered with attention like a damn prince! Am I just a peasant to you huh?!" Kinua blurted out all of a sudden.
"I might be considered royalty by the people of this village, but I don't think like that" Naruto said.
"My family always set high expectations on me and that pressures me so much that I can't take it! I want to make them proud, but if they find out that I'm the second best I have no idea what will happen to me! They'll be mad, really mad that I'm not the top student! You are my only obstacle!" Kinua shouted, tears starting to stream down his face.
"All I wanted was some love from my parents, and I never get any!" Kinua finalised, panting hard from all the shouting.
Naruto had a solemn look on his face for a moment before he grinned. "You know, from what I overheard during a conversation between your parents and my parents, they always say how sweet their little boy Kinua is and hope that me and you could be friends when school starts" Naruto recited from his memories as he smiled brightly at Kinua.
"They seem like really awesome people to be around Dattebayo!" Naruto shouted and Kinua wavered slightly, trying to get words out of his mouth before he doubled over in pain and went back to scowling at Naruto.
"I don't believe you!" Kinua shouted as he started forming some hand signs.
Ram → Tiger → Demon Dragon "Kitsune Style: Kitsune Bi!" Kinua shouted and breathed in through his lungs before spewing out some blue flames out of his mouth. Naruto foreseen this and dodged. While the attack was dying down, Naruto decided to do some gestures of his own.
'If my suspicions are correct, then this is going to be trouble' Naruto thought to himself as he did the gestures for a move his mother taught him.
Cha → Ro → Cha → Ro 'Infravision!' Naruto shouted within his mind and his eyes turned toxic green, while a harmless green flame appeared to be burning at the top of his head, signifying that he's using the power.
Naruto looked up and what he saw shocked and chilled him to the bone. While he might hang around local friendly youkai, this one is hostile, hovering just above him, highlighted in green specifying it being invisible although now spotted through the use of the technique known as Infravision. The being was an orb made of flesh, it has a large mouth with sharp gnashing teeth that looks like a twisted smile, a long tongue, and several smaller eyestalks on top of its head.
'A Beholder, I feared as much!' Naruto scowled inwardly at the sight and instantly started doing hand gestures and his chant.
Et → Un → Cha → Un "Magic Missiles!" Naruto shouted and three magic firework like sparks materialised out of his being, locked onto the beholder. When it made contact it screeched and came out of hiding from its invisibility, just as Naruto's Infravision ran out. Also from the contact, the Beholder unlatched itself from Kinua and fell to the floor before righting itself. It hovered just above the ground, its visible eye narrowing in anger as it then entered Kinua's body, possessing him in the process.
"I'm going to kill you and become the number one student Naruto Okami Kitsune!" Kinua shouted, although it sounded like two voices instead of one. The possessed Kinua then made a couple of hand signs, making Naruto tense and prepare for the attack. Though he decided that he shouldn't wait for him to finish, as he regrettably had to attack one of his classmates outside a sparring match, because it is an emergency.
Naruto went into his hunter taijutsu style, before activating Vampirism and making a mad dash for Kinua to swipe at him with his claws however, Possessed Kinua saw this and backflipped away before sending a red lightning bolt Naruto, who barely managed to dodge to the side behind a rock by the cover of the dust. The possessed Kinua was frantically looking for Naruto and was getting frustrated every second that has passed not finding him. Naruto inwardly sighed in relief as he saw the possessed Kinua struggle to find him.
'Was that some sort of jutsu? He didn't use any hand signs or hand gestures to perform that!' Naruto thought, a shocked expression clearly showing on his face.
'I don't want to hurt Kinua too badly, who is a potential new friend, but I want to get rid of the youkai that's feeding him all of these negative emotions!' Naruto started to panic slightly.
'Think Naruto, think! Remember the lesson mother taught me about youkai…' Naruto trailed off into his thoughts as realisation hit him and his eyes widened.
"That's it!" Naruto shouted out loud to which the possessed Kinua finally noticed and prepared his attack at the rock.
"Hey you ugly!" Naruto shouted as he jumped up onto the rock. The possessed Kinua scowled at that nickname.
"Why don't you fight me like a true youkai and we'll settle this with good ol' taijutsu?!" Naruto shouted at the possessed Kinua, who grinned like a maniac and made a mad dash towards Naruto, who was actually making hand signs behind his back. Naruto also charged at the possessed Kinua with a smirk.
'My mother told me not to use this technique until I'm older and have increased mana reserves, but this is an emergency!' Naruto thought within his mind as he stared and continued to run at Kinua, determined to save him before the Beholder takes over Kinua's body.
Dragon → Boar → Bird → Holy Tiger → Monkey → Bird → Holy Dragon "Holy Style: Soul Purification Technique!" Naruto shouted as he suddenly thrust his open hand out onto his heart and the Possessed Kinua's eyes widened as he wasn't able to dodge it.
The entire area suddenly exploded in a blinding white light, before a scream could be heard at the source. Bruno arrive shortly after with Kinzoku, Kurama and Inari once the light died down and the action suddenly stopped. Two figures lay on the ground; One is Naruto, slightly blue with a burn mark on his right hand and Kinua is the other, who was laying on the ground all scorched up from the technique and seems to have a smile on his face for the first time in a while.
"Naruto!" Inari shouted in a panic as she rushed over to her son, while Bruno and Kinzoku rushed over to Kinua. Kurama only walked calmly to Naruto's side.
"He'll be fine hime" Kurama reassured his wife with a fatherly smile.
"He saved a life today" Kurama added while Inari just nodded and smiled at Naruto who was unconscious.
"Thank goodness, it's only Mana exhaustion" Inari sighed in relief as she picked Naruto up and decided to take him home after a long day. Kinua was taken to the hospital by Kinzoku himself and the only ones left in the woods were Kurama and Bruno.
"What is it Kurama?" Bruno asked.
"Never thought that one of our students would get possessed by a rogue youkai, on the first day even" Kurama sighed in exasperation.
"A youkai attack? So soon?" Bruno questioned with a raised eyebrow, the only reply he received was a nod from Kurama.
"Keep your eyes peeled Bruno from now on" Kurama advised, although it was more like an order to which Bruno obeyed.
"I don't want any of the kits getting hurt" Kurama said with worry, while mostly worrying though about his son since he was at the centre of it all. Bruno nodded in understanding.
"I will be off now, have to mark all the assessment results and place the kits in their respective levels" Bruno smiled and vanished in a bright yellow fox fire shunshin.
'I wonder how well my son did, guess I will find out tomorrow' Kurama thought as he sighed at the same time because he still has a job to do, so he used teleport to go back to the Nature Temple.
-Later, Kitsune Family Residence, Naruto's Room-
Inari laid Naruto down on his bed gently, then covered him in the warm blanket. Naruto was still quite blue, as mana regenerates much slower then chakra or yoki. Inari opened his window to let some fresh air in to make Naruto feel more comfortable, before making her way to the bathroom to get a towel and wet it with cool water. When she came out, she saw her husband looking out of the window while taking a peak at Naruto from time to time.
"You're home early today Kurama-kun" Inari whispered in confusion as she walked quietly over to Naruto to put the wet towel on his forehead.
"Was worried about our son, Inari-hime, so I finished all my work as early as I possibly could and rushed back home" Kurama answered and Inari nodded in understanding before she snickered.
"Teleport?" Inari asked with a cheeky grin and Kurama looked back at her with him returning that same grin.
"Teleport" Kurama confirmed with a suppressed laugh that came out as a quiet snort. Inari rolled her eyes.
"Would you mind keeping an eye on Naru-kun? I need to go down to the Alchemy to make Naruto his medicine" Inari asked and Kurama nodded in return.
"Sure Inari-hime" Kurama said.
"Thanks Kurama-kun" Inari thanked and teleported away to where she needs to be.
'What have you got yourself into son?' Kurama asked himself, while looking at his half-conscious son.

Sorry for taking so long to write this up, fight scenes are the toughest stuff to write in my opinion and also I was busy on the path of life…

New Jutsu/Attacks used:
Lesser Heal – Salves the least of the caster's wounds and restores a moderate portion of their stamina. Useful to use on allies or charmed beasts.
Infravision – See all that surrounds you, even in the gloom! Useful for detecting the invisible and enemy ninja in hiding.
Invisibility – As the name of the ability states, you are able to vanish away completely from sight. Only way to detect you is either by sound or an enemy using Infravision.
Teleport – You are able to teleport to any location you've been to before within your range just by thinking about (Accessible to Mana and Yoki users only).
Holy Style: Soul Purification Technique – Exorcises and destroys any unwanted beings possessing someone's mind and soul just by touching someone's heart. Make sure to avoid their Yoki system if your fellow youkai got possessed, otherwise they might become human (Professional use only, Mana technique).
One more thing, if you are all wondering where all these 'techniques' come from, they come from one of my all-time favourite games called Nox! Should've let ya all know sooner! I guess this is a pseudo crossover now? Disclaimer: Don't own Nox as well, as the game is owned by Westwood Studios and EA.
