Harry ran down the hallway, still clutching the violin case to his chest and his pistol in his holster in his hip.

Jerry and Malcom looked up as he sprinted into the waiting area "Run! Run!" he gasped as he sprinted out the door and out into the alleyway.

Looking around, Harry saw a few people milling about, going about their business. "RUN!" he yelled, before running down another alley, looking behind him to see Malcom and Jerry sprinting towards him, clutching their new fire arms and looking around wildly.

"Harry! What happened!?" Malcom yelled, coming to a stop a few feet away.

"I got my guns, but then this thing appeared out of thin air and Ollivander gave me this stuff and told me to run! I could see how scared he was so I just went." He said, breathing heavily from his exertion.

"what ever that was, we need to get our stuff and go!" Jerry said, leading them swiftly towards the clothing shop.

Down an alley they ran. Off in the distance, they could see the door to the shop swing open and Walter leaned out "Malcom? You there?" he called.

"Coming, Walter!" Malcom yelled as they sprinted to the shop, skidding to a stop as they approached.

Walter handed Jerry a duffle bag and a back pack "everything should be in there, you can keep the bags. They are fireproof, and have Kevlar weaved in between the fabric. Should stop what ever lead gets thrown your way." Walter looked at them as if finally noticing that something was wrong "Are you okay? You look like you sprinted the entire way here…"

Malcom looked at him "Some one is trying to get to the kid, we have to split."

Understanding dawned on Walter's face "Right, there should be a Humvee in the garage. It is owned by these dudes. They came in and started asking questions about you two, they wanted to know where the kid was. I think they are traffickers or bounty hunters or something. Whatever, but they wanted to hurt you that's for sure, they held their guns mighty tightly while they talked about you, and I wouldn't mind not seeing them again. They trashed my lobby."

Malcom nodded "be seeing you Walter, if I were you though, I would scram, this place just got exposed to someone or something, and that might lead a trail back here. Maybe set up shop in America. I hear they have a big market for your type of product."

Down the street, a flash ignited, followed by a deafening boom "KA-THOOM!" the expanding pressure wave shattered the windows of every shop in the cavern, rebounding off of the walls and shaking the ceiling high over head. Rubble began to rain around them as the vibrations from the explosion began to dissipate, leaving alarmingly large cracks in the walls of the cavern.

"Walter! I would leave quickly! Sounds like the party has arrived!" Malcom yelled over the cacophony "warn anyone else! That roof doesn't look like it'll hold!"

Walter nodded and ran back into his shop "JOE! WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE NOW!" he yelled before running inside.

"We need to get out of here now!" Jerry yelled over the sound of thousands of tons of rock cracking and shifting against itself. "This place was never made to be bomb proof! Whatever that explosion was, it is obvious that Ollivander did it to buy us some time! Let's find a car and use the vehicle lift to get out of here!"

The group ran towards the front, towards the vehicle bay.

Malcom steered them towards a large vehicle parked at the end of the garage. It was a Bradley assault vehicle, modified to run on an electric motor with a hybrid engine. Its roof was made of fold out solar panels for charging in the field and it had a trailer attached to the back of it with a browning 50 caliber machine gun attached to the top.

Several men were loading boxes of ammunition into it, and as the last one was loaded into the trailer and the trailer was locked shut, Jerry opened fire with his Scar, dusting three of them.

Not to be out done, Malcom removed his M1A1 SOCOM and turned two of the men's heads to blood red mist.

Jerry pulled out his side arm and emptied three rounds into the remaining man's chest.

Malcom frisked them, and finally, with dust and debris raining down around them, all three jumped into the Humvee, while Malcom jammed the keys into the ignition.

They peeled out of the parking lot and into the vehicle lift. The lift started to slowly but surely crank upwards. Around them, the cavern continued to shake, and more dust obscured the windshield.

Large pieces of the caver roof began coming lose, pasting any one unlucky enough to be underneath them.

The lift shuddered to a stop at the top of the shaft, revealing a tunnel with light at its end.

Malcom floored the gas, shooting down the tunnel with reckless abandon, exiting the tunnel as it collapsed behind them.

Harry looked back to see a hole in the ground open up and saw thousands of people begin to stream out of it.

"Are those men dead?" He asked. "who is chasing me!? Why wont they just leave us alone!?" his little voice quavered with suppressed emotion. "why am I so weak?" his anguished voice became harder, like icy steel "I will never be weak again."

Another jarring rumble shook the earth and a huge section of the ground sank, revealing the phosphate pit as it all fell into the depths of the hole below.

Malcom drove down the gravel road and out onto the highway.

"Jerry, where did you say this Kenny dude lives?" he asked, a fake smile in his voice.

"Uhhh, Devon-shire, I think. We have got to get Harry trained and fast. Otherwise, something like this might kill him, and we along with him." Jerry said, looking back at Harry, who had blood seeping from his hands from clenching his fists.

Harry looked at Jerry "I will be strong." He said, as an eldritch glow lit in his eyes. "so that I won't be chased," the windows of the car began to shake violently in their frames "so that I can have a life, and a family someday" Harry's blood began to rise from his dripping palms. "So I swear, until my body is laid to rest, on my life and even my very soul!" the blood coalesced into a chain around his neck, there it turned to a deep black metal, inscribing the words he had spoken. The rattling of the glass got worse.

A green light flashed through the windows of car.

Elsewhere in the world, items that had previously laid dormant became active again.

A shield that had previously laid at the bottom of an ocean rusting turned as black as the depths of the sea, shimmering with power as a bubble of air expanded around it.

Albus Dumbledore looked on in horrified fascination as his wand slowly was overtaken by a creeping shadow, and the knots on his wand smoothed out, growing into a swirling black crystal at the bottom of the handle.

The shade of Tom Riddle that had clung to the gaunt ring for decades screamed in agony as it was slowly crushed by the march of blackness that suddenly overtook the ring in a shack in Little Hangleton.

Sirius Black watched as the cloak that had hung on the walls of his ancestral home for 8 years turned from shimmering silver to a black deeper than midnight.

Garrick Ollivander watched in fascination as a single wand that he had stored in the back of his shop suddenly changed from a warm brown to a shimmering ebony.

A snowy white owl hooted as it slowly turned from pure white to a liquid shadow, blending into the shadows of its pet cage.

Beneath the halls of Hogwarts, a Basilisk shivered as compulsions placed on it years ago slaked off "Masssster, I live to sssserve!" it hissed.

A phoenix cawed above the earth as the bond forced on it was removed by a slash of sizzling shadow, and a darkness creeped across its visage.

The Knife holstered on Harry's arm that had seemed so black before now deepened into a miasma of living shadow. It writhed under the surface of the metal, waiting to bring forth blood and violence once more.

The call had been sent, and its message was one of despair, but also of hope for a new dawn.

A woman sat straight up in bed. She clutched a pendant of the Deathly Hallows around her neck as she looked at her husband sleeping next to her through a curtain of platinum blond hair with a single streak of black running through it.

In Azkaban, Bellatrix Lestrange cried out, clawing at her arm as the dark mark was burned away, leaving behind pale skin "NOOOOOO MY MASTER!" she rose from the bed and threw her self out of her window onto the rocks below.

Sirius Black rose from his chair in which he sat, regarding the heirloom of the family that he was supposed to protect, and had failed so miserably "But How!" his harsh whisper rang around the room. "Kreature! Take me to the library at Erebus!" he called to the room.

A man on a beach in the Caribbean woke from his slumber as his Dark Mark was burned away "I live to serve!" he cried as he apparated away.

AN: Jeez, I really do feel like this thing writes itself. I just sit down and it pours out of me. I am thinking with the way things are progressing that next chapter they will get to Kenny's place where there will be a time skip. Just warning you guys, Harry is going to change a lot. His innocence will be lost and he will become more pragmatic, colder, and not as naïve about the world around him. I mean, the kid was 8 years old, and had been abused by Vernon, but not to the extent that he was completely shattered like how some other fic's portray him to be. I had a really hard time writing his character because that is not how I see the world, and I had to fit into Harry's shoes to write him. It was not a very good fit. But, after the training montage chapter, (cliché, I know, but I have to move events along so that he can show his skills and then get his Hogwarts letter.)

I want Harry to basically be a mini adult, and willing to take responsibility for his screw ups, but also having the firepower to handle what gets thrown at him. I hid the P90 in a violin case specifically because I wanted Harry to be able to carry his firearm with him. A member of a gang is always ready for the onset of violence, whether it be from another gang, or from the police. Whomever it be, they are sure to be ready for them.

(the idea of a p90 in a violin case was not mine originally, it came from an anime called "Gun Girl" and is about the psychology behind children that are trained from about 3 or so to be killers.

Still looking for a Beta, but it will probably never happen.

The 5th review gets to help me decide and upcoming plot point.

Licorice Lord signing off.
