We were having dinner with the English royals. I was sitting across from Edward.

"So, it's been quite some time since I've seen you last." Carlisle noted. "What are your hobbies?"

"Well, I like dancing, playing the harp, seeing the people, attending court meetings, archery—"

"Archery, huh? I'm quite good myself."

"Quite good?" Emmett laughed his booming laugh. "Bella is the best."

"We'll see about that. I challenge you to a dual. If I win, you have to go on a date with my Nephew. You know why. If you win—"

"You have to declare me the best archer you've ever seen, including yourself. Oh, and I don't have to go on a date with your nephew."

He smirked. "Do we have a deal?"

"We do."

The next morning, I dressed casually. A brown sweater, white skirt, and brown boots. I threw my hair into a braid that rested on my right shoulder.

I met Carlisle in the gardens, where two round bullseyes were. The whole entire castle staff was there, plus the royal families, Duchess Alice, and the bodyguards. I smirked and walked over to where Carlisle was. I gestured for him to hit first. He hit the red part of the bullseye, but more towards the outside of it. I picked up my bow, fastened the arrow, and shot it straight into the middle of the center. I couldn't wipe the smug smirk off my face.

We went a few more rounds, until I finally was declared the winner. A princess beat a King!

"You are a brilliant archer, and the best one I've ever seen." He told me, fulfilling his side of the deal. Edward looked disappointed. I knew that he wanted his Uncle to win so that he could go on a date with me.

I left the gardens, satisfied.

Then I headed to my room for bed, it was covered in purple hyacinths, and heathers.

"They mean I'm sorry. And I really am. The heathers mean congratulations, admiration, and protection. I will always protect you, Bella. Just think about at least being friends." The velvet voice said before I heard quiet footsteps. That was Edward, I know it.

They did smell really good.

Days passed. Every day flowers appeared in my room before I went to bed. Roses, lilies, tulips and orchids. I looked up what each of them mean. Roses stand for unconditional love, care, and affection. Lilies stand for humility and devotion. Tulips show new beginnings, peace, and forgiveness. Orchids represent power, strength, and rarity. I loved them all, though I never thanked them. That would make him think that I was starting to forgive him. He also bought me chocolate covered cherries, which were my favorite. He also wrote me a love poem, and ordered a small cake that says, "I'm sorry" on it. But it was the letter that really got me.

My dearest Isabella,I am truly, deeply sorry. I love you so much that it hurts every time you turn me away. I won't ask you to take me back, I just need your forgiveness.I know you believe that I want you back because I want to be King and I need a Queen. But really I just want you. I need you. I love you, and I want your forgiveness. If you do choose to forgive me, I'll tell you why I broke up with you.Edward.P.S. I love you.

I smiled. It was time to forgive him.

I am going to make this book because I want to be done with it. Another two or three more chapters?
