Review responses:
(to BlitzNeutral69: These first few chapters are not the main story, it's only for catching up so after the intro is over, most of the main story chapters (mini-stories) are gonna be longer.)
(to Resplandent: the main story chapters are going to be longer, and there's no need to create complicated plots and stuff because they're going to be separate mini-stories, so I don't think I'll have a hard time on this topic. Also it would actually be harder to write the reasoning and logic to counter the reason why those characters should go)
(to Redgrave Antony: Hmm, since I'm too lazy to go back and edit the previous documents I'll just make it so 250,400 is what is shown first because Ciel and Rimuru got caught by surprise when they (the girls) checked their stats, and also the fact that they're new to the statistic system in Genshin Impact so they weren't that good at changing what observers see of their stats. So after a while Rimuru'll learn to change it and it'll be 100, what do you guys think)
and sorry if that made no sense)
(to Panu Sitti: yea ill make Rimuru make all the too powerful and not human-looking ones human homunculuses (IDK how to write homunculus plural) so they won't stand out, and won't be too powerful.
I'll also make them have very low atk, def, and res (compared to usual, they're still gonna be OP for Genshin Impact) so they can still take damage from Teyvat stuff but will be able to support themselves when fighting. Basically nerfing them all by 99%(?).
For vision, I'll probably make them have the same situation as Traveller (no vision but still able to do elemental dmg, multiple elements)
and for the elements, I'll still make them take greatly decreased damage or immune to some/most elements, like Rimuru immune to fire and can't get Sheer Cold. For element usage, I won't have them do the usual Genshin Impact elemental usage attacks, I'll just have them keep their own skills and attack styles. But greatly decreased atk dmg.)
Chapter 4 - Solo Travels
Rimuru appeared between two fire braziers on a high cliff point.
Where the hell am I? he thought. As if I would know, he's in a completely different and new world. Rimuru observed his surroundings for a bit, then noticed two girls well hidden behind a bush watching him. He watched them back, forgetting for a moment about his absurd amount of power compared to the averages of other worlds.
It was at this time, which could be said as the worst possible time, that they decided to use Elemental Sight, not yet known to Rimuru, and view his Level and HP percentage*. Rimuru got caught by surprise, and since this is a new world, he didn't yet know how to change what others see of his stats yet, so those two girls looked into his real power. This made Rimuru a little uncomfortable, not ready for how they will react.
But the two girls were unexpectedly good at keeping their surprise in and stayed silent and unmoving. They checked him two more times, but unfortunately for Rimuru he didn't manage to give a false Level before they'd bolted off somewhere to the southwest.
But then the others may have a hard time hiding their statuses, which will expectedly be unusually high, Rimuru thought.
{No worries Master, I've got it covered}
Phew. Thanks, Ciel, you're a livesaver.
{hehe...}
Rimuru'd already gotten used to Ciel calling him Master, but this brought another thing to his head.**
Well then, now what? Rimuru had no idea what to do now, because he'd arrived in this world only to be immediately discovered, and most likely reported. That'll be bad, because Rimuru wouldn't want the news to spread, especially at a time like this.
{I suggest you go and explore, might find interesting and/or useful things}
That's actually a good idea. So Rimuru set off in a random direction (obviously in a direction other than north, there's nothing but a long drop to open sea there) and started to wander about, seeeming aimlessly, exploring.
...
"Oooh, jackpot!" Rimuru had found Mondstadt city. Of course, he didn't know that yet.
Rimuru considered entering and exploring the rather small-sized (for a city) city, but then again he was traveling all over as the cute light blue slime he is, he was lucky he didn't get attacked or noticed by anybody yet. I'll probably have to use my human form in the city, it'd be akward and probably a bit catastrophic if I enter as a slime, he thought. Heck, maybe slimes didn't even exist in this world, he'd never seen one before! It'd be really weird if an unknown alien thingy entered and started exploring all over the city.
{Master, sli-}
AHAHHH, no spoilers! Rimuru'll find out for himself if there are any slimes. What's the fun in looking for if they exist if you already know that they do? No offence.

...You're upset, aren't you?
{No.}
...Well, forget it. Let's change, now! What should I wear?
...
Lynn was bored, and cooking, as usual. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, actually, a lot more. For one day, she decided to go around the area looking for more possible ingredients, and turned right into someone else who suddenly appeared out of nowhere!
She was young girl, too young to be freely exploring unchecked and unsupervised like this, probably around 12-15, if she had to guess. She had a dark blue collarless shirt with a darker blue vertical stripe down the middle of the front, and silver arm bands (?) on her upper arms. A strange bracelet-like wristband with a small screen and button on one side, and a black belt-like strip hanging on her hip, and white baggy pants with blue patterns on the sides, which came down to her mid-shin. Lastly, the plainest shoes Lynn had ever seen, only a tad bit lighter shade than her shirt.
But what really caught Lynn's attention was the bright platinum blue hair, which went a bit past her shoulders, and the strange white mask with a symmetric black pattern, and a red dot in the center. Her hand was on the mask, having had hurridly put it on from its original position on the side of her head when she got noticed by Lynn. But Lynn got a short glance of her face before she put the mask on, she had bright amber-gold eyes which seemed to be able to see through anything and everything. She also had a very beautiful and cute face, arguably able to make any man fall in love at first sight. Her expression was nothing short of surprised.
But then Lynn noticed something really strange. She could see a health bar above the strange girl's head - and it was red. As far as she knew, only monsters and hostile enemies have red health bars displayed above their heads, but one, she never knew of or seen a monster anything like this mysterious girl in front of her, and she couldn't see her level. You usually can see everyone's levels, including monsters, right above the health bar. But this girl, no level could be seen, at all.
Wait. Lynn remembered. Before the blue-haired girl put the mask on. She wasn't paying attention, but she knew she saw the same red health bar before she put the mask on, but before, she could also see some numbers above the health bar... Right where the level should be. But there was one problem - that level, she swore it was more digits than possible, in all of Teyvat. It had probably 5 to 8 digits, she wasn't sure. But she was sure that the max level, for monsters and vision-wielders alike, is 90. Not 250-.
Lynn can only think of one entity that has a level that is more than 2 digits. And even that may be just a myth, a story, something made up. It's the "USS" (Seriously, who in the world came up with that ridiculous name?) that Xiangling told her about when she questioned her about when she saw her, and the Honorary Knight running full speed to the direction of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. They told her a quick version of the whole story, but put a little more detail in describing the strange slime.
Now that I think about it, isn't that mysterious girl's hair the same color as the mysterious slime? Lynn thought. I wonder if they're related in any way...
(Rimuru POV)
"Helloooo?" Rimuru waved his hand in front of the cook's face. "Snap out of it!"
She instantly shook herself and looked again at Rimuru, this time with confusion, and a bit of suspicion and surprise in her expression. "Ah! Sorry, zoned out for a bit. Hello, why are you here alone, and what can I do for you?"
"Actually, I was just heading into the city, and you turned right at me and we almost crashed. Sorry if I caused any unneccesary trouble."
"Ah, no not at all! Let me introduce myself. I'm Lynn, a cook that's currently camping around here. I find a lot of nice ingredients here. How about you?"
"My name's Rimuru, I'm a traveller from somewhere far from here. I don't know a lot about this place, but I find it interesting to explore! I found lots of chests with nice loot, and many flowers and strange ores!"
That wasn't too bad, right? It tecnically wasn't a lie. He did come from somewhere very far from here (literally a different world), and he knew nothing of this world. Rimuru figured it'd be ok to give his real name, because it's not like he was wanted or anything, there's no way stuff like that would appear at this time, right?
{That was okay, but I suggest you try not to give too much information, for various reasons}
Yeah, yeah, that is a known.
"Um, can I ask a few questions?"
"Go on," Rimuru said, completely oblivious to Lynn's confusion and suspicion.
"I don't mean to be rude or anything, but why is a child out here alone wandering about in who knows where, without supervision or anyone else by your side? And that's not to say you're probably unchecked, untracked, and no one is taking care or even keeping an eye on you?"
Shoot, that's a hard one.
"Umm, I-It's not like that! I can take care of myself just fine, I don't need anybody to keep an eye on me! Actually, that would be bad and it's not like you will believe me anyway." Rimuru muttered the last part.
"What did you say?"
Welp, she heard.
"I- I mean, I can take care of myself in little adventures like this, I always return to my traveling group, yeah! That's it!" Rimuru corrected himself hastily.
"..."
She still seems a bit suspicious, but at least Lynn's not questioning that anymore.
"Then who and where are your 'traveling group'?"
Oops. Now I'm really backed to a wall. But fortunately, wall, not corner.
"Well, aah, they're... back at the forest! Yeah, in the forest over to the north. I went ahead of them to the city, I'll go back and get them if you like!" Good thing Rimuru thought up of that story. It fits well, and he could go back and get Shion and the others as his "traveling group".
"Why don't I come with you?"
Silence.
Sheesh, this woman sure knows how to drive someone into corners!
"Umm, wellll, you need to keep watch on your- cooking pot, yeah! O-or monsters might come and get it...? A-and if you come with me, my su- no no, friends, I meant friends, might take you as an enemy and try to attack you, or something!" Rimuru hoped Lynn would believe him and stay. Of course the second part was completely true, Rimuru's subordinates, especially Shion and Diablo, might misunderstand her and think she is trying to kidnap or lure him or whatever else crazy nonsense they come up with, and attack her.
"...Fine. You go back and get them, but don't use this as a chance to escape! I see how nervous you are, I have a talent for reading people. You make sure to come back, alright?"
"Right! Okay, bye!"
Rimuru dashed off, but not before taking a last glance at the walled city. There were a few guards around the gate... and were all looking in his direction.
...Oh no.
Bonus:
Rimuru ran through the forest, double-checking and triple-checking and making sure he wasn't being watched and no one was nearby. When he was completely sure it was safe to go back, he said "Okay, can you make the gate here?"
{Sure! Opening inter-dimensional gate...}
Then, a gate-like portal appeared in front of Rimuru, showing Tempest on the other side. Yes! It worked, Rimuru thought. He had planned to go to this world himself, so he would be able to make a gate between here and the Cardinal world, since Ramiris only made one bracelet. This way, everyone could go through, instead of the one-person limit for the bracelet.
Well, nothing else to do except head back to Tempest! Rimuru thought, then stepped through the gate.
*(HP percentage means amount of Health compared to the max HP, in other words HP% or percent of HP. If that makes any sense to you, sorry if it doesn't.)
**(will be explained in next chapter, no spoilers) (You'll know, it'll be marked with a **)
(Just to make it clear: Rimuru's shown level is 100, from Chapter 3 [last chapter] on it's going to be in 1st person, most of the Tempest characters are gonna have a human homunculus and they're gonna have a nerfed version of their skills for the other world.)
(in the Trouble in Tempest chapter, Ramiris is supposed to have made only 1 bracelet, but for me it just still says she made nine, so if you're confused, Ramiris actually made only one.)
(I'm not that good at writing Ciel's dialogue, so expect a bit less from her. sorry)
(lastly, sorry for the extra long wait, you can probably guess why and here's an (not really) extra long chapter as an apology. and you won't have to wait this long for an update again, sorry again)
