It has now been a year since I got to this world and joined the fairy tail guild. I'm now fourteen years old and I have done a lot over the year, I'm the only member who doesn't break everything when I go to do a job and get my own house. I will take that as a win for my whole life before I become like Natsu when he does a job and breaks everything. I even became Makarov's favorite person because of me not breaking everything in my way.
I even started to train with Erza, ever since I got her the books and armor, she started to ask me to train with her. After I said yes she started to come over to my house every morning and it has gotten to the point where I started to make breakfast for three rather than two. But I couldn't complain about it because it was nice to have her around the house and I needed the help to clean the house. I see that as a win.
Right now I was walking to the guild to take a quest for today and just having something to do for the day. I wonder if Wendy and Carla would like to go on a job with me and Luna, I mean it's kinda boring just doing the same thing over and over without people to talk to on the way. I walk into the guild and like normal everyone was fighting, I let out a sigh. Why can't we have one day with a fucking battle?
I started to jump, sidestep, and dodges for incoming attacks from every side I could see while walking. I started to look for Wendy and Carla, after a few seconds of looking, I found them and started to walk to them. I saw Natsu fly at me and I jump over him, I look back to see him crash into a pillar before jumping back to his feet and started to fight again. I started to walk to Wendy and Carla again this time a little faster than before and after a few seconds, I sat down next to them.
"Hello." I greeted them with a smile on my face and Luna sat down next to Carla.
"Hey." Wendy greeted me and Carla greeted me with a nod. I heard something flying at us and I look to the side to see it was Gray. Once he was close, I gripped him by the shirt and stopped him before putting him down on the ground. Gray gave me a short thank before jumping back into the fight.
"I was wondering if you would like to do a job together." I ask her. Wendy and Carla started to think it over the question before coming to a decision.
"That sounds like fun." Wendy answered me before we started to walk to the quest board. We started to see if we could find something good and after a few minutes, I found a job. It was a body ground job to protect a nobleman and his fourteen years old daughters, and they are going to the nobleman's grandmother. It would take one month to get there, stay there for a month and take them back home but we would get a reward of 800,000 jewels. I showed it to Wendy and she looks it over before she nodded at me.
I started to walk home to get all my stuff for the journey and I took about 100,00 jewels just if I need them. I started to walk to the train or what I have named 'the devil', I still have a hard time with it and I hope, I can find a way around it. After a few minutes of walking, I was finally at the train station and I could only glare at the train. I wish if I glared hard enough I would break it and dance over it. But the world was not on my side and the train was still whole. I was now waiting for Wendy and Carla to show up, but I didn't need to wait that long before I saw them walking up to us.
Once we step on the train both I and Wendy started to struggle with getting to our sites. After a few hateful steps, we were finally able to sit down on the train and Luna was kind enough to open the window for us. Now I need to hold on for an hour before we can get off the demon and have my freedom.
After an hour of riding on the demon, they call a train, we were finally able to get out of the devil. I and Wendy started to take a few deep breaths of air but I could see Luna and Carla roll their eyes at us. How dare they, we almost died on the train and all they can do is to roll their eyes, I thought they were good cats but I was wrong. I think I heard Luna say something about me being overdramatic over the train but I can't blame her for not understanding the train's true evil.
After a few seconds of just taking in some air, we started to move to the meeting place. I just hope that the family is not a bunch of people with sticks up their ass and didn't act like that kind of nobles. I wonder how they look and act when we met them and I hope they have a dog. I mean I'm going off the animes where every nobles family has a dog of some kind and I'm still doing to hope for it. We started to ask people about direction but almost everyone ignored us and after a few people someone finally help us
The name of the family was Kazamachi and they were rich and had a powerful mage line. But this generation of the Kazamachi family didn't have anyone that could use magic to attack someone and that why they sent out the job. After a few minutes of walking, we were finally at the house or the fucking castle they call a house. I mean this house is big as hell and I'm pretty sure you could get lost if you have ever been here before. I mean I know that rich people have big homes but this was Ridiculously big for everyone to live in.
We started to move forward to the ridiculous house they call home and started to walk to the door. While on the way to the house, all of us started to look around the gorgeous place. It didn't take us long before we were at the door and started to knock on it, after a few minutes of waiting someone finally opened the door and at the door was a maid.
"Are you two not too young for this." The maid asks.
"I'm fourteen and she is thirteen, also we did take the job quest." I answered her before she nodded and let us in. We started to walk inside the house and from what I could see it was gorgeous and big as hell. After a few minutes, the maid finally stops walking and opens a door for us and we walk in and were met by a man. He has brown hair and he wears long red trousers with black stripes just below his knees, the ends of which are neatly tucked into his blue-tongued black sneakers. Why does he look like Den Kuso from Bakugan battle brawlers, I mean he looks almost like his twin brother or something.
I look around to see two girls around my age, one was taller and the other one was shorter. Being identical twins, almost the same and they both have brown long hair and blue eyes but there was a difference between them. The taller one seemed to be more mature and the shorter one seems to be more carefree. My eyes met the girls and we just stare at one another but before I knew I was pinch from my side. I turn to me a scowling Wendy. But before I could ask her what was wrong, the man started to talk.
"Will come to our humble home." Bitch this is not humble in any way shape or form. "I guess you are the people who took the job." He said and all of us nodded. "I'm Jeck Kazamachi and these are my two daughters, The tall one is name Yamai and the other one is named Yuzuru." He finishes saying to us and the girls gave us a wave of greeting and we waved back to them.
"When will we be leaving." I ask him.
"In about three hours, so please get ready." He said before we started to walk out f the room. While walking I look over to Wendy to see a pout on her face, I started to think over what I did to see if I did something wrong but nothing came to mind. Then why was she so angry with me if I did nothing wrong and why did she pinch me like that. I could think about it more after we were ready for the job to being and ask her if something was wrong. I note that Luna was not on my shoulder like normal, and I started to look around after she and Wendy seem to see that Luna was not there too.
"I need to go back to see if Luna is there." I started before I bolted, it only took me a few seconds before I was in the room again and open it. I look in to see Luna on the lap of the Yamai girl, who was playing with her. I started to walk to them, Luna and the girl's head snapped up to see me walking at them.
"Luna come here." I said and luna started to fly at me before I wrapped my arms around her. "I'm sorry about her." I said before I bow my head down but before I could walk away Yamai said.
"It's okay, I enjoyed her company." Yamai's voice was so soft that it could have been a cloud, I turn around to meet her blue eyes with mine black once. "How old are you and how long have you been a mage." She asks me.
"I'm fourteen years old and It has been a year now, I have to say it has been fun but sometimes dangers." I answered her honestly and I put Luna on my shoulder. Yamai started to hmm after hearing what I said before her eyes flash with something, I couldn't see. Before we could talk anymore, I heard someone walk in from the door, I turn around to see Yuzuru.
"Yamai dad said to tell you to start moving." The short girl said before walking out of the room.
"It seems our time is cut short for today but I hope to be able to talk to you more." Yamai said before she started to walk out of the room too with me behind her. After saying goodbye I started to run back to Wendy as fast as I could. It only took a few seconds before I could see Wendy and Carla waiting for us.
"I found her." I call out to them before they look up at me, Wendy with a smile while Carla was indifferent. I could only guess she was in one of her moods but I didn't ask her before we started to get ready.
After three hours of waiting for them to get ready, they were finally here and we were about to move out. I started looking around to see if anyone that did not support to be there but I couldn't see anyone. After waiting for a few minutes the carriage was finally here and the noble family started to get on it with me and Wendy at the front with Luna and Carla. After that, the carriage started to move and we started to walk.
While walking I started to look for anyone that could attack the carriage while Wendy was looking forward and back to see if anyone is coming. I think it a good time to ask Wendy why she pinch me at the house.
"Hey Wendy, why did you pinch at the house." I ask her and Wendy turns her head around to meet my eyes.
"Nothing I just felt like it." Wendy said with a pout before walking faster so that she was in front of me. I blink a few times before I let out a sigh and started to fall back a bit.
After a few hours of walking, we finally stopped to rest and I could help but enjoy the rest we were given. I mean walking for a long time, can take a lot out of a person, I look at the carriage to see the noble family started to come out of it.
"Wendy could you get us some wood." I ask her and she gave me a nod before walking away with Carla behind her. I started to smell around to see if anyone was following us but from what I could smell, nobody was following us. I look at the Kazamachi to see Yamai was playing with Luna and her sister was looking around while their dad was reading a book. After a few minutes of setting everything up, Wendy finally came back with the wood and a lot of it. I started cock our meal for today while Wendy started to look around.
After cocking everything it was finally time to eat, but before I could eat I saw Luna was still playing with Yamai and I made my way over to them. I could see that Luna heard me walk to them because of how her ears went up.
"It time to eat Luna." I said to her before she started to fly to Wendy and Carla. I look over to Yamai. "Sorry about her, she can be a handful." I bowed and said before I was about to walk away she started to talk.
"Don't worry, she a sweet cat." She said with a giggle before she padded the ground for me to sit down next to her. I sat down next to her. "I'm curious about what magic you use." The noble girl asks.
"I'm a Water dragonslayer, my magic is made to kill dragons." I answered her and she gave me a race eyebrow.
"Dragon teaches people to use magic to kill them, that sounds so stupid." Yamai said with a smile and I could help but smile too.
"Will if you put it like that it sounds stupid." I replied back to her before I felt eyes boring into me from the back. I swallowed deeply and I was too scared to turn around to meet whoever was staring at me. I tried to inground the eyes and tried to talk to Yamai. "Do you know any magic?" I ask her.
"I can us Water makes." Yamai showed me be using her magic and making a water sword. I decided to eat the water in front of her, I started to consume the water sword through my mouth. Yamai gave me a shock-like and I could only grin at her before she summons the sword and I consumed it too. She gave me a small pout for eating her sword and my grin only got bigger for it.
Yamai started to make different shapes of water while I consumed him, the acts got a giggle from her and some small chuckle. After a few minutes of us talking it was finally time for me to get something to eat. While walking back to Wendy, I saw that she was sending me a glare and that made me stop. I decided it would be safer for me, too found another place to eat that was not close to Wendy.
After an hour of rest, it was time to get moving again, but I heard something move close to the carriage. I immediately ran to the carriage and just in time to see a bear was about to attack the family. I surrounded my hands in water before I punch the bear right in the face, and it sent the bear flying back from the family. The bear gets up before I sent a powerful uppercut hitting the bear's chin and spin in the air and sent a kick to the stomach of the bear. Wendy was right in front of the family ready to attack any more animals that came close to them.
I heard another roar, I turned around to see another bear moving forward at me. I kicked the second bear right under the chin before punching the bear in the stomach, I took a hold of the bear's arm before I threw it at the other bear. I slammed my body into both of the bears and making them fly back a few feet.
"Water dragon's roar." I streamed out and the water attack was moving forward to the bear before hitting it. The attack was powerful enough to send the bears flying away and to the point where I could see the bears. I look back to see that every one of the noble families was safe but the girls were a little shaken over what happened.
"Is everyone okay?" I ask them before I started to walk up to them.
"Yes thank you for the save." Jeck answered me before they get on the carriage. It was noble that he was not acting like a nobleman like people think their act. After that, Wendy, Carla, Luna and I started to walk in front of the carriage like before but this time I started to look after animals. After a few more hours it was nighttime and we started to set everything up for the night.
"I get the firewood." Wendy said before walking away with Carla not far behind her. I started to set up our camp and started also to fix up some food for us. Whiling fixing everything I started to lysine to if I heard an animal get it close to the family again. I heard something snap and I stood up with my hand surrounded in water before I threw I punch to where I heard the sound. I stopped an inch in front of Yamai but the force of the punch made her hair fly back.
I and Yamai blink a few times before I put my hand away from her face with a sheepish look on my face. I started to back off a few feet away from her while trying to hide my embarrassed face. Both of us just stood there not knowing what to do after what happened, I tried to talk but nothing came out of my mouth. Yamai did the same trying to talk but nothing came out.
"I'm sorry about that." I said to her rubbing the back of my head. Yamai gave me to smile before she sat down next to me on the ground.
"It's okay, I shouldn't have snuck up on you." Yamai said back with a soft smile before she made a water sword to which I consumed and got a giggle. "I would like to thank you for saving us from the bears." Yamai finishes saying before handing over a box to me. Where that fuck did she get a box and why didn't I see it before she handed it over to me.
I started to open it before I put out a neckless from the box, it was a blue gem that was hanging on the neckless. I put the neckless on me before I gave Yamai a bright smile to which she blushes at.
"Thank you for this." I said before I pulled her into a hug. I felt to eyes boring into me and I turned around to see Wendy was looking at me while I was holding on to Yamai. I started to sweat bullets over her glare and let go of Yamai, who let out a whine when I did and Wendy just glared harder after that.
"You get the firewood." I said before I stood out and started to move away from the girls for my safety. After that, I started to fix up the meal for Wendy, Carla, Luna, and me. It only took a few minutes before the meal was done and everyone started to eat but Wendy was still glaring at me and I could only sweat bullets. After everything was done it was time to go to sleep for the day.
