It had been A few more weeks since Lucian stormed the Church, and Lucian was beginning to lose interest in preventing Akeno from learning he is alive and well. Honestly he is at the crossroads of whether or not he Sticks to the Grigori or goes to The Devils to be beside Akeno.

Lucian dealt with Suou, he prevented a further incident with The Gremory family, and he was also engaged to two lovely women.

Add to the fact that with only Eight Pairs of Wings he sits on the Council of Cadre's, has the True Longinus, Wields Ascalon and Arondight, Possesses Holy Thunder and Lightning, Holy Ice, and Holy Fire, and he has the skills needed to get some serious Devil attention, only question was if he did go over to them, and with whom among the remaining 72 Pillars did he side with?

On a side note Lucian was glad that Azazel gave him a few months off at least, his battle with Suou still plagued him.

Still, Lucian could not very well just up and quit Grigori to protect the only non-parental relative within his immediate family. It was irresponsible and somewhat selfish no matter how much he longed to be able to just hug is little sister again.

Lucian Had other reasons both not to go Devil and to do just so. As far as reasons for going Devil were. Well; an increased lifespan, access to Demonic Power in addition to his Holy Power of Lightning and Thunder, Ice, and Fire, increased compatibility with Arondight, and Akeno of course.

Reasons not to Go Devil were not as clear, but they present nonetheless; Being able to freely see Gabriel, unrestricted access to Kuroka, and his Father and Valiana. Admittedly Lavinia would probably follow him wherever.

The thought of not seeing Gabriel caused him some discomfort, and Lucian was also forced to acknowledge his own growing fondness for Gabriel and Yasaka Both. What was it with him and women of blonde hair and impressive bust size?

Lucian sat in his workshop, he didn't know how Azazel did it, but Michael had passed over some Fragments of Excalibur's Destruction, Nightmare, and Transparency alongside Galatine and Durandal Fragments. Lucian was busily incorporating them into Arondight, when he was interrupted.

''Thought you might be here.'' Says a warm and inviting voice.

''Lavinia, what do you need?'' Asks Lucian as he continues to infuse his Holy Lightning and Thunder, Holy Ice, and Holy Fire into the Sword as well as the Fragments he'd received.

''We received a message that Rias Gremory will be fighting Riser Phenex, she is expected to lose. How do you want to handle it?'' Asks Lavinia.

''Have the SRU load up, when Gremory loses, we will crash the reception. Until then I want a Strike Team prepped to breach and secure our extraction point once it's over.'' Says Lucian as he finishes infusing his Holy Elements into the Sword Fragments and turns to the Sword itself for Aura infusion.

If only Lucian could get his hands on some Gram, Balmung, and Tyrfing Fragments to infuse with powerful Demonic Powers or a Strong Aura, then it would balance Arondight out if he chose to go Devil.

Lucian knew that by storming the reception he'd be center stage, to give any message he wanted.

Lucian sat at the dinner table as he and his father enjoyed Yasaka's cooking.

''Father, Rias Gremory has challenged Riser Phenex to a Rating Game in order to break her engagement. She won't succeed, and when Phenex tires of Gremory, he'll turn his lecherous hands against Akeno. Well, it's not happening, I'm done living in the Shadows Father, after I've ended the arrangement, I'm retiring to Kuoh with Lavinia and Kuroka.'' Says Lucian.

''Then make sure that Akeno's protected, Kokabiel is still out there.'' Says Baraqiel.

''I know father, but we must ensure that Grigori remains strong as well.'' Says Lucian, his mood somewhat dour.

Lucian had began the task at hand, preparing for battle against the Immortal Phenex.

To that end he had spent hours infusing Holy Water into his Longinus and Blade Blacksmith Gear. But here and now? The fun was ready to begin.

Lucian stood beside Valiana, Tobio, Lavinia, and Kuroka. Together a dozen mid-tier Fallen Angels awaited his word, which Lucian gave by blowing up the Doors in front of him.

''Riser Phenex, Grigori challenges you, I challenge you, for the Hand of Rias Gremory.'' Declared Lucian.

''Why should Riser fight you?'' Asks Riser.

''Because I offer the ultimate challenge, The Immortal Phenex Vs The Prince of Lightning, Your Omega Vs My Alpha, Immortality and Hellfire vs the True Longinus that struck Christ upon Incinerate Anthem. And I'll even throw in the pot a former Holy Sword of The Roundtable, Arondight. But let me be clear, refuse and what I did to Suou Himejima's child butchers will be a wet dream by comparison to what I'll end up doing to your entire family. And another thing, specifically to the Assholes in the Great King Faction, if ever even consider on whether or not you should try and send more of your bitches after my bride again, then every single one of you will be dead by daylight, I already killed Asmadien Naberius, don't make me do the same to you lot.'' Says Lucian.

''Riser wishes to know your name before he fights.'' Says Riser.

''I am Lucian Himejima, Son of Baraqiel and Shuri Himejima, Elder Twin Brother to the Queen of Rias Gremory's Peerage, and until an hour ago a member of Grigori's Council of Cadre's and the Head of it's Special Response Unit.'' Says Lucian, but only upon looking at Akeno.

Akeno is in tears, her beloved elder brother is back, and not only back but here to fight Riser.

''Riser accepts your Challenge.'' Says Riser.

''Good, then let us begin.'' Says Lucian as he nods to Tobio.

''My name is Tobio Ikuse, Wielder of the SLASH/DOG Canis Lykaon, I have been instructed by Azazel to act as the Grigori's Judge for this fight, who among you will judge for the Devils?'' Asks Tobio.

''I will.'' Says the Silverette Grayfia Lucifuge.

''So be it, the fight begins now.'' Says Tobio evenly.

As if on cue, Lucian summoned his true Longinus and fired a beam of Holy Energy at Riser, before slamming his Spear to the ground and causing a flash of blinding light.

Much of the room is either stunned or just plain blinded by the flash of light, but Those who recover quick enough, immediately notice that Lucian is actively fighting Riser who wields a Hellfire Sword against the True Longinus.

''You have talent boy, but it's unrefined, been left to rot. I have trained since day one, I have Mastered my Four Sacred Gears, from my Blade Blacksmith and Flame Shake, to my Puritan Wall and this very Longinus. It has enabled me to become the Youngest Cadre in Grigori History, and I refuse to let you rape my sister when you tire of the red bitch.'' Lucian remarks as he breaks their lock and kicks Riser Back.

''But then again, these are not my only weapons to bring to bear upon you. Just the most obvious.'' Says Lucian, as he spins around and in a spiral motion flings the True Longinus to the Sky.

"Throwing your greatest weapon away? Foolish Boy!" Says Riser.

"Oh I didn't throw it away, I broke the barrier." Says Lucian as the Artificial Sky shatters and a beam of Holy Energy directly from the heavens strikes him. Lucian's Body begins to radiate Holy Power, to compare it to Super Saiyan was no small exaggeration.

His body bulked up, his Hair spiked, and his eyes went white. A Single White Wing Erupted upon his left Side, before Seven More followed. In stark contrast, his Coal Black Wings on his right side went from Coal to a Jet Black Ebony. The left side of Lucian's face, specifically his facial hair and head of hair turned a blinding white, while his other half retained it's basic state, but with a darker shade of pitch black.

Lucian was wise enough to flex a twelfth of his new powerby demolishing half the arena stands with it. That little show was to let the Spectators know exactly who'd they be fucking with if they came after him, his girls, or his sister.

And honestly he cared nothing for Rias Gremory, but fighting for her hand was his best option to prevent Riser or anybody else from getting their hands on any part of Akeno's Body.

That little demonstration was part of why he did this entire activity...It was all too protect Akeno, his beloved little Sister.

Riser was feeling the heat, no pun imtended. His opponent was a Class 1 Super Elite Embatant with Class two Red Stripes by Devil Standards...the Scales couldn't get any higher without entering the echelons of the God's or Nephelems.

Ravel however was watching the newcomer with fascination. His Power was impressive, his physique was enticing, his entrance was explosive. She wanted to know more of this man.

Ruval Phenex was intrigued more than anything Else, his baby brother might have made a grave mistake, but for the first time since he fought Tannin over the Number Nine Spot in the Top Ten Rating Game League Champions, he was excited by something new and unbeaten that didn't have the Name's Diehauser Belial, Roygun Belphegor, and Bedeze Abbadon.

Lucian made a two fingered finger gun at Riser, before dipping his thumb down, and a ear-shattering Crack can be heard as a beam of Holy Thunder is fired at Riser.

It was a be all, end all kind of attack. But at the very last second The beam chips over Riser. The beam the goes around Riser's body, and The Crowd is left stunned as it dips around before piercing Risers Left Shoulder.

''Stand aside little girl. This is between me and him.'' Lucian growls out, as Stood before him is Ravel Phenex. The Girl had her arms out blocking his path, and to the girls Credit, whatever fear she's got in her mouth, she swallows.

''On behalf of the Phenex Family I Acknowledge your Victory, and ask that you accept my surrender on Riser's behalf.'' Ravel states bravely.

''Your braver than your brother, and a whole lot smarter than him too girlie girl, well alright I'll accept it. But I now must get my affairs in order. I'm officially retired.'' Says Lucian as he walks away from the two youngest Phenex Clan Children...

Chapter End

Feels kind of lackluster compared to what I'd originally planned but details.

In any case, the vote has been cast, tapping out at 40 people. Off the top of my head I know that Yasaka has been decided, but can't check it right now as I'm in bed and on my phone doing this.
