Later, after Raven and the other three had returned to the village, she went right to her hut where she was surprised to see that Apple was sitting inside waiting for her.

"We need to talk," said Apple.

"I was going to say the same thing," said Raven while closing the flap style door. Before she could say anymore, Apple said she was sorry.

"What?" asked Raven, who was surprised.

"I've been acting so selfless, and I understand that you forgot our anniversary, but…," said the blonde before Raven interrupted.

"I didn't forget, Apple, I just couldn't give you your gift because it's here in Neverland," said Raven. This time it was Apple who said 'what'.

"I had Lily and Penny set something up for tonight and I was keeping it a surprise, I'm sorry that I made you feel like this," said Raven.

"Argh, I feel like such an ugly stepsister for thinking you forgot," said Apple while slapping her hands to her face to hide behind them.

"No you're not, I should have told you that I was planning something in the first place, I just wanted to surprise you," said Raven while taking hold of Apple's hands and pulling them away from her face.

"Well I was definitely surprised," said Apple before she kissed Raven.

"Oh, and speaking of surprises, I have one to tell you," said Apple with an expression like that of the cat who ate the cannery.

"What happened?" asked a nervous Raven.

"I told Briar about us," said Apple.

"You what?" asked a shocked Raven.

"She came up to me and asked why I was so mad and I said it without really thinking, but she's promised not to tell anyone," said Apple.

"As long as you're alright with her knowing then so am I," said Raven.

"Thanks; so, when do I get to see this surprise?" asked Apple.

"You'll get it tonight, meet me at the entrance to the forest around ten," said Raven. Apple then gave her another kiss before leaving.
