"Hey, Ayla." Raven stopped eating, looking across to his phone as a question popped into his mind. It had become something of a morning tradition, Raven realised, to ask the System a question, his first day had mostly been asking about directions and general stuff which continued throughout the week, with Raven recently started to question the system itself
"Yes."
"Does the system have a Gacha? Like, I know I can probably buy anything from the System Store between worlds but having a Gaxha would be cool, means I can get free stuff though it has the potential to be either amazing or complete bullshit."
The phone was silent for a few minutes, allowing Raven the chance to dig right into his Coco-pops, ignoring the quiet buzz of his phone he waited for Ayla to speak again, which she silently did as he reached for the device
"The Creator has accepted the idea and has implemented the Gacha System into the Adventure Foundation. Gacha Tokens can be awarded through the completion of quests, to redeem a Token simply access the Gacha Token app on your device. You Currently have [0 Gacha Tokens] on your account"
[Reward: For inspiring the creator, 100 Credits have been awarded to your account.]
Raven raised an eyebrow at the phone but shrugged it away, Dismissing the notification that popped up as he did
"Can I have a Gacha Quest then? Or at least a Quest that lets me have a chance at getting a Gacha Tokens?" He asked, frowning at his now-empty bowl of cereal
Quest:
Objective: Survive the Attack on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint
Rewards: Gacha Token, ?
"Huh?" He raised an eyebrow at the message, not only because the Quest Message looks different to how he expected, what with it displaying the Rewards and the objective but also T the objective itself
He already knew how the USJ was gonna play out, and while his appearance would definitely change things the USJ should remain mostly the same
Or at least, he thinks it should
It's not like any of the League could do anything to him because of Kyoka Suigetsu so…
He sighed, standing up and dropping his bowl in the sink so he could finish getting ready for the day.

"What's All Might Like as a Teacher-?"
"How does it feel being taught by the Number 1 Pro Hero?"
"What do you think of All Might as a Teacher?"
"All Might-"
"All-"
Raven sighed as he walked through the crowd of reporters, he'd forgotten about this small event when he left but the moment he saw the crowd he knew what was happening and the moments they saw his uniform he'd been swarmed, it was only his rather tired glare that allowed him to walk through the crowd even if they insisted on questioning him
Luckily Aizawa was quick to the rescue, the tired-looking man appearing at the edge of the gate just as Raven finally forced himself through the crowd
After making his way through the building, throwing his homeroom teacher a thankful glance he eventually found the classroom, filled with his equally annoyed and shocked classmates who continued to mutter about the instruction that had taken place
"Oh, King, did you see all those reporters out there?" He sighed when Kirishima turned to talk to him, the red-haired student sitting in front of him during class
"Yeah, they kept talking about All Might." He rubbed the bridge of his nose "Oh. Yeah. You guys can just call me Raven y'know, honestly being called by my last name is pretty strange."
Kirishima's - and Kaminari, who sits two seats in front of him - eyes lit up with excitement, not that Raven could blame them, calling people their first name was a big thing in Japan, or it is if Anime taught him anything anyways
"Really?! Then just call me Ejiro bro!" Kirishima said, suddenly veering off into a rant about Manliness while Denki talked over him
"Yeah, Denki's fine for me to dude." The 'cool' dude said, Smirking at Raven. Honestly, he didn't know why they were so cool with him, they'd talked during lunch yesterday and during the matches but that was mostly it, not that he was complaining but still
The friendliness was surprising
"Alright everyone, quiet down." Their teacher announced himself, dragging himself into the room making everyone return to their seats quietly.
"I hope your all rested from yesterday's battle trial, I took the liberty of looking over your grades and evaluation." The man looked down at the paper in his hand "Bakugo, stop acting like a seven-year-old. You're wasting your own talent."
Despite being on the other side of the room he could hear the blondes muttered 'I know.'
"Midoriya, are you always planning on breaking your arms? If you keep going 'I can't adjust my Quirk so I have no choice' you'll never get far, I said it before so don't make me say it a third time. Once you clear that hurdle you'll be much more flexible, so I need to see some sweat out of you Midoriya."
Raven winced at Midoriya's too loud answer, nearly shouting 'Yes Sir!' Despite being so close to the teacher
"Now we can move on to the homeroom business, today's announcement is rather sudden but…" The tea her let his voice drag in, creating a dramatic pause in his sentence that out the class - minus him - on edge
"...You'll be picking a Class President Today." The class exploded at the man's monotone statement, nearly everyone shouting out their own want to be the President, the only ones not reacting as violent as the rest were himself, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Tokoyami and Midoriya
Yaoyorozu because she was too polite to shout like that, Todoroki because he's still being an emo bitch, Tokoyami did semi-react but that reaction was simply humming, raising his eyebrows and throwing his hand in the air, the same with Midoriya who timidly raised his hand, too afraid to shout like the rest of the class
Of course, he didn't react either but that's for two main reasons, the first being that he already knew it was coming and the second because he… has absolutely no interest in becoming class President, he'll he's not even gonna vote for himself!
He already knows who he's gonna vote for, mainly because he just doesn't want Iida to be Class President
"-It is a Holy office that requires the great esteem and trust of those around you." Oh, seems he missed the beginning of Iida's speech.
Rip.
"The only truly worthy way leader will emerge from a Democratic choice reflecting on the vill of the people! Which is why it must be settled with a Vote!" Iida raised his hand and Raven blocked out the oncoming conversation
He honestly doesn't understand all the fuss about being Class President, then again it is a Japanese thing as far as he's aware. He'd never really experienced anything like this in either of his lives after all and he doesn't think other European countries do it
It doesn't help that he knows exactly who people should've voted for, honestly, yesterday's trial easily displayed who should lead the class and I'm his opinion neither Tenya nor Midoorya deserved it so early
Midoriya was voted in by himself, Iida and Uraraka and people were fine with it because of his 'bravery' which doesn't make any sense since he basically just made himself useless in the field
Iida was only accepted because he shouted at people during the evacuation which Yeah is brave and he was very in control but he was only able to do that because of Uraraka and his quirk, honestly any of them could've done it
Did Kirishima - the one who screams on and on about Manliness - just sit around and panic, stomping all over people? I find it difficult to believe
No, in his opinion the only person who displayed the necessary traits to lead the class was Yaoyorozu, she proved to be calm and level-headed during their trial, knew when to step back and let him lead, showed amazing observational skills, showcased her intelligence and is very easily approachable Despite her origin
If it wasn't due to their attitudes he'd have also recommended Bakugo, Asui and Todoroki for Vice-Representative.
Why?
Bakugo, while arrogant, is extremely smart, can keep cool Despite the scenario and would ignite a challenge for the class, basically getting them amped up for their tests, if it wasn't for his personality he'd be a prime candidate
Asui, while nice and approachable, is too blunt I'm his opinion, sure having any flaws or praises given to you by someone who only speaks the truth is good and he knows she wouldn't do it on purpose, but her blunt nature would work against her I'm scenario's like the USJ or the Training Camp when people are freaking out and really scared
And finally Todoroki… honestly it should be pretty self-explanatory why he'd think about Endeavours son so he won't go into it
That's not to say Yaoyorozu is infallible in the position, she gets flustered in surprise scenarios really badly and can act negatively, her own confidence issues work against her but after working that out she'd be the prime candidate
To be honest, he'd rather put his eggs in her basket than Iida's, the robotic student is just to… serious for him, he's reliable but… Well, the Stain arc comes to mind, so does his refusal to leave the USJ to hey the pro's because he's the Class Rep, the fact he made everyone gather around the bus to make a seating plan-
'...maybe I just have something against Iida. It's possible, I never really liked his character so… eh, I'm still voting for Yaoyorozu'
He chuckled at his thoughts, quietly writing down the recommendation students name and dumping it in the box when It eventually reached him
After a few more moments passed the box was collected at the front by Aizawa, who quietly pulled out the votes and tallied them up on the board, unsurprisingly there were only four people lacking votes
Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki and Himself
The former two voting for Midoriya to bring it his votes up to three with the latter two voting for Yaoyorozu
"It seems we're at a tie." Aizawa's dry voice echoed throughout the room, somehow being louder than the mutters going through the room as people talked about the two representatives or about their own lack of votes
"Hm, I don't care, sort it out yourself on who's who." Their teacher really doesn't give a shit about anything does he
Damn
In the end, however, it was decided that Midoriya would be the Class Representative with Yaoyorozu being the Vice just like in Canon
Raven just sighed since it means he'll have to deal with Class Red Iida
"...how annoying…" He could help the muttered sigh from escaping him as his first teacher of the day arrived.
Time for Mathematics with Ectoplasm
Yaaaaaaaaaay

"So who'd you vote for Raven?" Said student didn't bother getting something large for lunch, instead just buying a bowl of rice with an egg on it
"What'd you mean Kirishima?" Despite the other students rather kind offer he continued to refer to them with their last names, simply because he didn't want to accidentally offend people
"Well, you didn't have a vote. I take it you voted for Yaoyorozu then?" It was Kaminari who spoke this time, Raven didn't bother denying it, honestly, it was kinda easy to see who had voted for who, especially since two of the three others with no votes were currently sitting with the only other student with more than one vote for lunch
"Yup, she didn't really get to show off during our training exercise yesterday but even without it she shows amazing promise, second highest in our Quirk Apprehension Test, stupidly smart of her analysis about the matches were anything to go by, plus the fact she's the heir to the Yaoyorozu Corporation and one of the Recommendation students?" He asked rhetorically, biting into another chunk of rice when he finished
"Huh, never thought about it that way." It was Kaminari who replied, a thoughtful frown on the blondes face
"As y'all pointed out everyone was gonna vote for themselves anyways so the people who had other votes were probably the best, however…" He sent a glance at Midoriya, the other two following his gaze "No offence to Midoriya but he was only nominated because Uraraka and Iida voted for him, don't really want to put my future studies in the hands of a guy who can barely control his own Quirk."
He mentally apologised to Midoriya
Still, he couldn't help but feel unapologetic for his words, despite everything his past self here really did want to be a hero and putting someone like Season 1 Midoriya in charge…? At least during Season 3 and 4 he kinda steps up more, season two was mainly him coming into his own power with a bit of spice considering everything that happened with Stain
Actually what about Stain-
No
Think about it later
As much as he wants to get involved with the Stain Arc he's going to pick the best person to teach him regardless of where they're stationed. He needs to be able to use his sword more effectively, to be able to train his body better and to get a better grasp of his power
Having an amazing mentor right now can change things immensely after all if it wasn't because It's an absolute edifying thought he'd of wished to of started in DC where he could get trained by Batman, the guys an absolute maniac-
Wait a fucking minute
He has Unlimited Potential (Obviously)
Now, who does he know that exceeded human limitations after just three years of training?
Mother-fucking SAITAMA bitches!
100 SIT UP
100 PUSH-UPS
100 SQUATS
AND A 10K RUN
EVERYDAY
FOR THREE YEARS
WITHOUT ANY AIR CONDITIONING DURING THE SUMMER
AND NO HEATING DURING THE WINTER
THAT IS HOW HE BECAME!
THE ONE
PUNCH
MAN
"Uh dude, no offence but that smile is giving the creeps, the laugh doesn't help either." Despite the words, Raven let out a very sinister chuckle.
Saitama and Vegeta are gonna have nothing on him!
Now
Where's his mother fucking Juice!
RIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGGG
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
EVER THE GODS FEAR MY POTENTIAL
"Come on Raven we gotta go!" He felt Kirishima tug on his shirt as he spoke, still, Raven knew what was happening and remained calm as everyone freak out, something the other two students recognised
"Calm down you two." He made sure to make his voice as strict as possible, imitating this versions Grandfather which quickly captured his... friends attention "Right now everyone's freaking out and people are getting hurt, UA is one of the largest congregation spots of Heroes in Japan, there's no safer place to be if anything the Press just broke in if nothing else remaining calm is our top priority."
The classmates nodded, sighing in relief at his words as they make then likely remembered that yeah, U.A. is literally filled to the brim with Heroes
"Still we need to get everyone to calm down!" It was Kirishima who spoke, frowning at the crowd.
Raven himself frowned, he knew it would take Iida a minute to figure everything out but so far nothing was happening, he could hear people graining in pain As they tried to rush through the doors
Sighing he did the only thing he thought possible-
"EVERYBODY SHUT IT." His voice didn't echo throughout the room as he yelled but that wasn't the point of using a shout, the moment his voice passed his lips he cast an illusion on everyone he could see, making it so they all heard a shout telling them about the press
Luckily he'd managed to capture enough people in his illusion that the word spread quickly, with the people calming down slowly but surely but enough that they didn't injure anyone and could make their way to their classes safely
Raven winced though
He really does not want to be Class President.
Let's just hope Midoriya didn't know it was him who spoke
-/-
"All right President, start us off." He sighed as Yaoyorozu spoke, Kirishima and Kaminari had freaking after he shouted but quickly caught on to what he'd done and started Piling praise on him
The praise he enjoyed but, didn't really want
Luckily Midoriya wasn't around to hear Kaminari and Kirishima praising him which was nice, means he doesn't have to worry about becoming class President
Still, he is wondering how this is gonna play out, after all, Iida didn't get the chance to prove himself this time around and Midoriya seems completely out of his league as the President, despite the fact he clearly wants the job
"Uh, let us start the ceremony for the new class President… but before that, I… need to say something" Raven sighed as Midoriya's eyes locked onto Iida's "In the end, I think that Iida would be the better man for the job."
He called it, with a sigh Raven laid his head on his arms, closing his eyes as he waited for the rest of the day to pass. In the meantime Midoriya have his case, talking about how Iida had clearly proven to be a better President and while it was eventually accepted and Iida took Midoriya's place next to Yaoyorozu - poor girl - the reception wasn't as… grand as it had been in Canon
Still, it's incredibly annoying that Canon seems to keep trying to fix itself like this, he only hopes that a more drastic change will finally snap the hold of 'canon'
At least the way Canon's trying to flow this way makes sense, people were still impressed with Iida after the battle trail after all, and the students help in 'creating' the voting system helped out during his case
Momo still looked completely lost up there, clearly, the sudden change of roles had knocked her confidence and why shouldn't it have? Midoriya stepped down which should've made her Class President but she kept her position and someone else just takes her spot?
Poor girl
Honestly, I just didn't want to deal with Raven being the Class President (mainly because Raven himself wouldn't care but also because I don't know wtf a Class President does) but I also didn't want him to just leave the whole lunch thing up to Iida, especially with Kamianri and Kirishima there, all things considering Kyoka Suigetsu was extremely useful in that scenario, he only really has to see one person to control the whole group after all, just whisper in their ear acting as their subconscious and slowly but surely everyone's listening
Now, why did Midoriya still end up as Class President even though he voted for Momo? Mainly because I can see people preferring Midoriya over Yaoyorozu but also because of the battle trail, she didn't get her time to shine as Raven said
Why was Iida still easily accepted as Class President even after he didn't do anything? Because I couldn't be fucked to keep Midoriya as the Class President and because I can see the class just accepting Iida be absent Izuku said to
Honestly, I was tempted to have Raven fund a skill at the end there called [Fate Changer] that effectively meant that, just because he's unbound by Fate doesn't mean everyone else is and that until he changes something drastically, Fate - or Canon - will try to happen, even if it means forcing non-canon events to remake Canon
Some of y'all may be wineries about the whole Quest thing early in the chapter as well, my only advice is to wait and see
Raven is still thinking everything works out exactly like Canon, he's just about to realise that things aren't completely the same and that, despite everything, this is real now
Safe to say I hope I can write the USJ Attack as amazingly as I'm imagining it
Other than that I'm really enjoying this fanfiction so far, the opening chapters - or well, the next few chapters and the last few anyways - are mostly gonna be Raven getting used to the system and the world, which is why he's starting to ask Ayla questions before school
Things will continue to change at the whims of the creator (aka me!) And there's nothing he can do about it, after all, so he's trying to find out everything he can
Anyways before I go I gotta question for y'all, or well, it's more a request.
Can y'all recommend some good Fanfictions to me? I haven't been able to find any that entertain me recently and I want to read something new, preferably with a Male oc or si and the 'world' doesn't really matter, I just wanna read something enjoyable aha
Anyways, peace out y'all!
Neo!
P.S. I got exams coming up soon and I'm freaking out! I'm taking a Forensic Science course at my College but I don't know if I need to more into a Medicine course for what I need to do so having exams on top of all that is making me stress so I'm sorry of chapters become slow or seem kinda tense/strange
Honestly writing fanfiction - specifically this one - is kinda calming, this chapter basically wrote itself, I didn't have to do any major revisions and I knew how I wanted it to play out unlike the other chapters which were more forced
Also, the next world is up for debate, I'm gonna continue in this world for a while, probably until Season 4 before moving on but idk.
The world's I'm debating between so far are:
Harry Potter
Overlord (The anime, but I need to rematch it first aha)
Rising of the Shield Hero
Rosario + Vampire
The Seven Deadly Sins (Tho I think it may be too OP right now for him)
RWBY
And The Hunger Games
I've also been thinking about sending him to the UnOrdinary world, honestly, I love that… comic? Manwah? Whatever, it's on Webtoon but it's amazing, Raven would fit in pretty well there but it's basically just another version of My Hero just without the Pro Heroes and a More corrupt government
Of course, this is gonna be a while away, I still have a lot of My Hero to get through but I'm debating between them all right now aha
There are some places I need to re-read/watch before I can do them, like 'Arifureta From Commonplace to World's Strongest', 'Attack on Titan', 'Avatar: The Last Airbender/The Legend of Korra', etc
I'm trying to find a place where I can do polls, I know I can do them on here but you can only do one at a time and it's not something accessible to Mobile users
Eh, when I find a place I'll let y'all know aha
P.P.S. Let me know who y'all think Raven should intern with, it's still a few chapters away but I need to start thinking about a Mentor figure now aha, honestly, I was thinking of Edgeshot simply for the fact that... well Ninja but I want your guy's opinions as well
Anyways!
Peace out!
Neo!
