Tennyson's Residence (Apartment), New York
Ken stretched as he came downstairs from his room, as he felt a little exhausted between his normal duties as a hero and his new role as leader of the team, and schoolwork as well.
When Ken went downstairs he noticed that his younger 8 years-old sister, Karen, is floating on the air, above the coach, eating her cereal while watching Dora the Explorer on television.
God, this cartoon's garbage, thought Ken.
"Karen, use the couch" told Ken, to his younger sister. "Mom's not gonna like when you eat while floating like that."
The only respond that Ken's get is her tongue sticking out.
"Karen, sit on the coach." told Ken and Karen's mom, Kara Zor-El Tennyson (or Kara Kent-Tennyson, for Earth name) "Your father paid money for that couch."
Jen grumbled, but finally sat down next to Ken; her brother.
As Kara was about to talk to her kids, Big Chill landed on the balcony, then transformed back to Ben. Kara have lectured her husband, Ben Tennyson, to not to go intangible to get into the house anymore.
"See, I'm using the door now." said Ben. "I'm not missing breakfast, I'm gonna hit the shower first."
"Not so fast." halted Kara. "Come here first." Kara gave a passionate kiss to her husband. While their kids wasn't paying attention, but they're groaned and a bit disgusted on how gross the adults are making affection towards each other.
"You know we can hear you two smooching." said Ken. Both of his parents are glaring.
"Don't do this kind of thing until you're at least 15 years and above." said Ben. "You're still underage."
"Can you two just wait until we leave the house?" Ken replied
"You two should be happy that your parents are still loving each other." Kara replied back.
Then an alarm on Ben's Ultimatrix is on, which means an emergency is coming up. Ben and Kara knew they couldn't spend time with their kids since their duty with the Justice League comes up. Kara quickly uses her super-speed to rush and switch her Supergirl outfit.
"Sorry kids," said Supergirl, as she uses her super-speed again to rush and kiss Karen on the cheek, "you know the drill." then kiss Ken on the cheek too. Meanwhile, Ben transform into Jetray.
"By the way," as Jetray is about to say something before he and Supergirl leave. "Your uncle is visiting today".
"So you two better wait until your uncle arrived here." finished Supergirl.
"And remember, always lock the door when you're about to leave the house." Jetray reminded his kids whenever they're about to leave the house.
Jetray and Supergirl flew from the balcony. After their parents left, Ken turn his attention to Karen.
"Ready to meet uncle Rook?" asked Ken
"Yay!" Karen respond with glee, as missed her uncle, Rook Blonko.
Undertown, still in New York
Ken arrived with Karen, towards a secret passage and arrived in the Undertown; a subterranean alien city under the Earth's surface. Undertown is an underground alien settlement where many kinds of alien species live and thrive below New York. The Undertown has been protected by Ben and Supergirl for years, where they did their best to keep those aliens safe; hidden from the humans.
Ben Tennyson, is usually stock exchanging; he used some of his intelligent aliens like Grey Matter or Brainstorm; using its vast intelligence, figured out what to invest in. Ben also has been fixing space ships for aliens; he was paid with Taydens (an alien money; the currency is much higher than any Earth's currency) or e-money.
Ken was taking a tour with Karen and their "uncle", Rook Blonko, while Ben's old allies, Rover and Zog, are working on fixing spaceships that will earn tons of Taydens.
Ben Tennyson and Rook Blonko have been growing up together for years. So it would be an honor for Rook to be an uncle to Ben's kids (Ken and Karen).
Rook doesn't quite entered Earth often, so Ken and Karen took Rook to a Tiffin Ice-Cream stand.
Ken is paying with his Taydens to buy Tiffin flavored Ice-Cream for himself, Karen, and Rook.
"I am surprised to see this establishment thriving." Rook said it with concern of a lot of people (aliens) are eating Tiffin. "The possession and consumption of Tiffin is banned in 15 systems."
"Relax uncle Rook." Karen said it calmly, while she and her big brother eating Tiffin Ice-Cream. "It's Tiffin flavored."
"But are not Tiffins the offspring of the Lewodan?" asked Rook with more concerning expression. "How you two eat something like that?"
"She said it's Tiffin flavored. As in, artificial." Ken explained what Karen meant. "It's not actually Lewodan babies."
"Oww, well that's different." Rook said with a relief, while taking out his Taydens to pay for a cup of Tiffin Ice-Cream.
Then Rook gave a small lick on the Tiffin Ice-Cream. "And delicious." finished Rook, knew its worth it to buy a Tiffin Ice-Cream.
As Ken, Karen, and Rook walk away from the line and eating their Tiffin Ice-Cream, an alarm came up on Ken's ear comm, means he's needed to be at the Titans Tower immediately.
"Sorry Karen," apologized Ken, as he couldn't spend time with his sister. "Your big bro's gotta go to work."
Ken avoids Karen's eye contact, a she shows her disappointing look. Then Ken thought of an idea.
"I know. How about you can take a look in the Titans Tower?" Ken make up with his sister by bring her to the Titans Tower instead. Karen responded with an excitement on her face, while Rook felt happy to knew that the kids are happy as well.
Then Ken turn on his comm again to contact Dick Grayson, as known as Nightwing, who's still active as the leader of the Titans, and known to be one of founding members of the Titans.
"Hey, Grayson." Ken called Nightwing, as he's trying to gave permission to let Karen and Rook to stay around. "I was hoping that Karen and Rook to stay around the Titans Tower."
"I don't see why not." replied Nightwing from Ken's ear comm.
Then immediately, in a flash of light, Ken, Karen, and Rook are teleported to the Titans Tower.
Titans Tower, San Francisco
Ken, Karen, and Rook are teleported in a flash of light. Like the Justice League, the Titans are provided a teleporter on the Titans Tower as well. Without wasting anytime, Nightwing came towards them.
"Ken, go join with the others to brief." ordered Nightwing "Karen, Rook, feel free to come with us if you like."
"I could go on a real mission?!" Karen responded in a more exciting manner, but Ken and Rook is a little bit worried for Karen as they think that she's a little bit too young to go on missions.
"Yes." Nightwing said. "As long as you're being supervised by your brother and your uncle."
Ken understood that Karen will be only strictly for back up. Nightwing doesn't want to say that Karen will be only for back up because that will bring down her spirit, but he believes
Ken and Nightwing are heading towards the briefing room, where the other young heroes are gathered; Robin, Superboy, Aquaboy, Green Canary, Green Lantern (Tai Pham), the Tornado Twins, and War Hawk are waiting.
"Listen up, we have a report of demons are spotted near San Francisco. The only lead that we've known so far is that their is this girl". explained Nightwing. Then he show an image of a young girl with short dark hair, with her dark blue cape and hood on a computer hologram.
"Okay, so we found this girl, we'll get rid of the demons right?" said Tai Pham with confident.
"If only it were that simple." Robin said, knew that there's no such thing as an easy mission on every missions he's encountered, whether his mission with Batman or with the Titans.
San Francisco, Carnival
In a flash of light, the team is now teleported in a carnival, where there are civilians who are running away in fear and panic from the demons. The civilians are running away except for the girl, who was being described by Nightwing earlier back at the Titans Tower.
"Alright guys, you know the drill." said Ultiman
"Save civilians, and take out the trash." replied Dawn.
Because the Tornado Twins (Donny and Dawn Allen) are the fastest, they're always been the ones who'll save the civilians first, while the remaining of the young heroes are on actions.
While the heroes are battling the demons, Karen and Rook noticed the girl with the cape and a dark blue hood are running away from the demons. Without hesitation, Karen and Rook are getting towards the girl.
"Karen, go with the girl. I'll go fend off these... demons". ordered Rook. Karen immediately getting near towards the girl.
Now Karen is doing her best as she's comforting the girl, even thou Karen looks younger than the girl. "What's your name?" asked Karen.
"Rachel." replied the girl, reveals herself as Rachel. "Rachel Roth. But you should be here." Rachel shows some concerns towards Karen, who's younger than Rachel, and putting herself in a dangerous situation.
"Don't worry" replied Karen "I can take care of myself."
As couple of demons approaches towards Rachel and Karen, Karen fired one of the demons with her heat-vision, due to her half Kryptonian DNA. Then another demons about to attack the girls, but Rachel immediately attack the demons back with her shadow like-magic powers. After fending off the demons, Karen quickly noticed Rachel's powers.
"Cool!" replied Karen with glee.
But it doesn't took long for Robin to notice Rachel's powers too. So Robin approaches Rachel too.
"What did those demons want from you?" asked Robin in a suspicious mode.
"They're trying to drag me back to hell." replied Rachel.
Robin doesn't people that easily but further questions will have to wait. Unexpectedly, Rachel's powers began to bloom as she's angered with those demons. She levitate herself up in the air, and prepare to attack.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" as Rachel cast her magic to knock off dozens of demons off. Knew that they're no match for Rachel, the demons retreated by open a portal back to hell. Then the young heroes, including Karen and Rook. approaches Rachel.
Titans Tower, San Francisco
After the young heroes explaning what happen to Nightwing that Rachel have magical powers, Nightwing called Zatanna for an assistance about Rachel. Then Robin warns Nightwing.
"She needs to be watch, Grayson." Robin tells Nightwing.
"What she needs an understanding, not survaliance." replied Nightwing.
"She hardly gave us any useful information." Robin disagree.
"Just give her some space." said Nightwing, knew that Robin was concerned. " Besides, who else will be the perfect mentor/protector for anyone with with magical powers other than her?"
The teleporters activates as Zatanna appears from the Titans' teleporter.
"Speak of the devil" muttered Nightwing.
As Nightwing explain earlier about Rachel, Zatanna approaches Rachel as she's very good handling kids, since she spends her time as an actual magician to entertain people, including kids.
"So, you must the girl that I've been hearing about." said Zatanna.
"I have a name you know." replied Rachel. "The name's Rachel."
"I know." said Zatanna. "How do you like to stay with me at the House of Mystery. We've got clothes, magic books, and protections, on whatever problems you're dealing with."
Rachel knew that the Titans Tower won't be enough to protect her from "whatever is coming". So she didn't hesitate to agree with Zatanna.
"Its not like I don't have anywhere else to go..." said Rachel. So Zatanna and Rachel went to the teleporter and went off.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Hell
Trigon, an extra-dementional demon, a tall and heavily muscular humanoid with red skin and black marks on his body. He has burning amber yellow pupilless eyes, flowing white hair, black horns which are bent to front and slightly up with forked ends and appears to be much larger than the demons that the young heroes fought earlier, was in anger that his demons failed to retrieve her daughter, Rachel, back to Hell.
"Mark my words, daughter." said Trigon. "There's no place in this world you can hide from me..."
Demons are attack a young girl. What does they want from her? Ken are joined with his younger sister, Karen, and his uncle, Rook Blonko, and the rest of the young heroes to protect this young girl
NOTE 1: That's right! This girl name is Rachel Roth, also known as Raven. We'll get to see more of her soon.

NOTE 3: The Undertown does exists (based from Ben 10 Omniverse). But the only difference I've made is instead of Bellwood, The Undertown was located in New York. Ben and Supergirl are the protectors of the Undertown.
