It's been a long day. I missed all my classes which I didn't really want to attend. I never have liked studying a lot ,except if it's something that I want to explore. " Judge Crevan is coming to meet you in some time," the female guard tells me and vanishes off to her small cabin. I never adored Judge Crevan, he always talks about perfection and sometimes even forces people towards though he used to be at our house all the time partly as a family friend and partly for business with Dad. My Dad is the head of his paper agency. Which mostly prints articles about the Flawed court, it's laws, and other news about the Flawed. I never talked to him much. It is Celestine who is close to him, as she is his son's girlfriend. I certainly don't like my elder sister clinging to that guy. They look like nothing more than two birds obsessed about having each other as a part of their life. I hear the stomping of shoes and realize it's Judge Crevan. I recognize his footsteps and can tell what mood he is in. He has been with my family for about 3-4 years, and in this time I have understood him and his moods. After his wife's sad demise our house is the one he got attached to. Or maybe you may say is attached to the most due to his son who finds peace in my sister. By the sounds of his shoes I know he is in a hurry and only wants to talk business.
" Hi, Ms. North. Don't worry you are getting out of here. Just do what the lawyer tells you. He will be here tomorrow," He says it all with such ease as if it's something he has been doing for a long time.
" Sure Judge Crevan. Thanks for being here," I say with hesitation and relief. I never feel safe around him. Whatever relation I have with him, I don't want to miss out on this chance of going home. After this very short conversation he got back to his work. Everyone has gone back to work except me.
