Headband Taking Riding Battle Royale
"Kimi, don't you think we should talk about this before making a hasty decision of letting someone in?" Ochaco pointed out.
"What's the problem? This girl certainly has my vote for not being afraid of speaking from mind. Plus, I'm pretty sure she just wants to show off those gadgets she has on her." Kimi shrugged.
"That's right! If I team up with Mister First-Place that everyone is keeping their eyes on, I'll be able to show off my super-cute little babies to the big companies of CEOs who're tuning into the Sports Festival which is the best way for me and my marvelous gadgets to get recruited." Mei revealed her intention fast and exciting.
"Wait, could you slow down for a minute? Did you bring babies hear or I mean…" Ochaco tried to catch up on what Mei is saying just now.
"I'm pretty sure she doesn't mean real babies." Kimi pointed out as they see Mei is still talking to the nervous Izuku.
"The Support Course specializes in creating equipment that helps heroes deal with their Quirks and enhance their skills. I packed a ton of powerful babies to bring with me, so I'm sure you'll find something you like floating around my arsenal!" Mei opened a chest showing all the gadgets she could bring to Izuku.
"Oh my, you certainly don't go light." Kimi commented.
"Can we really use them all?" Ochaco wondered.
"Oh, I see this baby caught your eyes." Mei showed Izuku a jetpack.
"I based this off a certain hero's backpack. Though of course, I added my own twist." Mei bragged.
"Wait, I recognize that! Air Jet, the Buster Hero has one of those. I love that guy!" Izuku impressed that Mei can make something similar to a Pro Hero's gear.
"Well, it looks like Deku doesn't have any problems with her joining us now." Kimi said.
"Yeah, those two sure are getting along well." Ochaco stared at Izuku and Mei talking.
"Be careful now, jealousy can make your face ugly." Kimi advised causing Ochaco to gasp and her cheeks blushing a bit.
"Jealous, me! What are you talking about? I don't have any feelings for Deku or anything." Ochaco denied the claim though her reaction and blushes aren't helping.
"It is not wise to keep lying to yourself, it's always best to be honest with your feelings and who knows, maybe Deku would like us both." Kimi advised whispering to her UA friend's ear.
"Wait what?" Ochaco puzzled.
"(Okay, my team is full now and we're ready for the Cavalry Battle. Now we just need a plan to last long within the game.)" Izuku thought mentally prepared himself.
"I like thank you again for becoming our teammate, Fumikage." Azuma thanked as his team is consisted of himself, Miriam, Fumikage, and UA student from the General Study Course, Hitoshi Shinso
"No problem, just thought it would be interesting to team up with one of you guys." Fumikage said as his Dark Shadow roars of excitement.
"I'm still surprise you came to me for this, hope you know what you're doing." Hitoshi said to Miriam.
"Considering that I already figured out what your Quirk, I instantly knew we need that and your calm-collective mind to get through this." Miriam smiled
"Okay you three, remember to not drop your Queen or else they'll be hell to pay." Elizabeth threatened a little. Her teammates are Malga, Margot, and Nate.
"No need to be such a drama queen." Malga exclaimed.
"Now, now, Gacchan, we're a team now and we all need to work together." Margot reminded her.
"As a Knight, I will do my best to protect the rider to the very end." Nate determined to make this through.
"Okay Horizon, be sure to give this your all but try not to push yourself too hard." Tomo said as she is the rider of her team with Horizon, Adele, and Naomasa.
"Oh yeah, I'm ready to rock this event!" Adele excited.
Then the Timer for the 15-minute moment went off making a loud alarm sound alerting everyone as the countdown went zero.
"Oh goody, it's time to get this party started!" Midnight excited as she stretches her arms.
"About damn time! Eraser, wake up you sleepy head!" Makiko forced Aizawa to wake up by shaking his body rapidly much to his annoyance.
"After 15 minutes to pick teammates and talk strategy, 12 cavalry teams are preparing to go head-to-head." Mic Present informed.
"I see some unexpected student combinations." Aizawa commented.
"Totally, not only students from their own schools, but some teaming up with each other making this game to be an exciting one." Makiko stated smiling.
"Come on, everyone gets your hands in the air! It's time for an arena-thumping UA battle royale! Let me hear you scream!" Present Mic excited as the crowd goes wild.
"Okay, is everyone ready?" Izuku asked his teammates as he has become the rider.
"Ready to go!" Ochaco nodded.
"All systems are in sink." Mei smirked.
"I'll be sure no one will get our points." Kimi determined with her sexually smile.
The other teams are ready as well like Shoto getting serious for this and Katsuki's team are ready to go too.
"Hey serious samurai, be sure to get ready to use your Quirk when I say so." Katsuki said to Futayo.
"I will, and my name is Futayo, for your information." Futayo said.
"Don't worry about Bakugo, he can be intense sometimes." Eijiro assured.
"Yeah, more like all the time." Mina muttered.
"Okay first-year students, you better not have second thoughts about the teammates you have chosen because there is no going back once the game has started." Makiko informed.
"That's right, whoever you chose to be with, you'll have to deal with it until the end even if one those teammates are like an annoying roommate you just can't get rid of." Present Mic added the commentary.
"I think you two would fit the bill." Aizawa said.
"Let's get this party started! One final countdown before the game starts!" Present Mic suggested.
"Okay Deku, remember what we talked about." Kimi said.
"Got it, we'll be sure to use that as our advantage." Izuku nodded.
"Three. Two. One!" Makiko and Present Mic counted together.
"Begin!" Midnight signaled the start of the event.
"Everyone, run to the right now!" Izuku commanded and they did even though some teams are coming straight at him.
"Trying to make a move at the very start despite being a big target, I respect those with strong guts." Tetsutetsu said.
"Don't think we're giving you a chance to get far." Muneshige stated as he and his team charges at them. His team is himself, Gin, and Masazumi as the rider.
"Watch out for Muneshige's Gold Speed Quirk, it can make his whole body go superfast about 20 times faster than a blink of an eye." Kimi warned.
"Got it." Izuku said.
"Muneshige, use your speed to get ahead of them in the direction they're going." Masazumi ordered.
"Roger that." Muneshige nodded and his body glows in faint outline gold aura, then he along with his teammates blitzed front of team Izuku.
"Whoa, that was faster than Iida!" Ochaco gasped.
Muneshige Tachibana, his Qurk: Gold Speed. This allows the user to become 20 times faster than the blink of an eye, but he needs to charge up his speed like his body glowing first and focus on where he wants to go.
"Your headband is ours. Gin, get him!" Masazumi ordered as she points her finger at Izuku.
"Yes, Ma'am." Gin nodded and she summoned two large pink aura arms that looks like they came from a robot as they flew at Izuku.
"Look out!" Izuku gasped.
"I got this. Everyone, jump!" Kimi said and everyone jumped with her as she took the hit from one of the fist, and her Quirk reflected back on that aura arm which Gin felt the pain on her right arm.
"I knew you would try knocking down the rider with a punch, Gin. How silly if you thought that was going to work." Kimi mocked.
"I'm sorry, I have you failed and big brother." Gin apologized.
"Don't worry, we can still get them." Muneshige believed.
"He's right, Gin. Your Aura Gauntlet is still important to us." Masazumi encouraged.
"Then I will do my best to win." Gin determined.
Gin Tachibana, her Quirk: Aura Gauntlet. She can create a pair of pink giant arms and controls them like her normal arms and more, but when they take damage, that damage is reflected back to her normal arms.
"Don't think you can ignore us." Tetsutetsu shouted as his teammate, Juzo used his Quirk to soften the ground beneath both team Izuku and Masazumi.
"We're stuck!" Ochaco alerted.
"That guy, it must be his Quirk." Izuku guessed as the girls struggled to get out.
"Here we come!" Toru shouted as she and her team are charging at Izuku's team.
"Ochaco, Mei, watch your faces!" Izuku said.
"Gin, get us out of here." Masazumi pleaded.
At the same time, Izuku pressed a button that activate the jetpack he is wearing that unleash powerful wind pressure launching them into the air while Gin use her Quirk to slam the soft ground hard enough for them to escape into the air.
"They flew?! Damn, support course!" Tetsutetsu grunted and ordered his team to go after them.
"Jiro!" Tour alerted her front runner.
"I know." Kyoko launched her earphone jacks high extending them to go after Izuku's headband.
"I don't think so that headband is mine." Masazumi punched the air itself and cracks appeared with a powerful shockwave that blew Kyoko's earphone jack away.
"What the… Did she just punch the air?!" Kyoko gasped.
"My Quirk is pretty dangerous if I'm not careful though its also awesome." Masaumi bragged.
Masazumi Honda, her Quirk: Terror Punch. This allows her to create very powerful vibrations, or shockwaves, on anything even the air itself with punch a force punch from her fists. However, if she tries doing it stronger than her limit her body would vibrate in a slight pain.
"Okay, now we just need to go after Izuku." Masazumi said.
"Or we can just come to you!" Izuku snatched Masazumi's headband before she could react on time.
"What the…?!" Masazumi gasped as her teammates are shock as well.
"Thanks for taking care of Jiro." Izuku said as he and his teammates flew away a little with the jetpack.
"We're landing." Ochaco alerted everyone.
Ochaco and Mei pointed their feet at the ground as the hover air boosts, they are wearing release a strong wind to slow down their falling while Ochaco used her gravity Quirk as well.
"What did you think of my babies? Cuteness can be manufactured, you know." Mei smiled.
"Exactly mobility. Your gears, huh, I mean "babies" are amazing, Mei!" Izuku complimented making Mei squeal of joy.
"I'm the one who made us float." Ochaco muttered.
"Damn it, I cannot believe he got me like that!" Masazumi angered.
"Come on guys, we can still catch them!" Toru stated.
"Hey wait, Hagakure! Where's your headband?" Rikido asked making the invisible girl realize this and shock.
"Wow, that was easy." Neito chuckled twirling around the headband he stole from Toru around his finger.
"Come Kenji, we must make haste to get ourselves to the top!" Nenji said dramatically while riding on top of Kenji.
"You got it, best buddy!" Kenji cheered.
Suddenly team Miriam appeared right in front of them because of Azuma's portal Quirk and Fumikage send Dark Shadow grabs them with his hand.
"We have been captured!" Nenji panicked.
"Hey, are you supposed to be a jell-o because you're a gross looking one." Hitoshi mocked.
"How dare you! I got this look from my mother!" Nenji shouted, then immediately froze in a frozen-like state.
"Good, now give Miriam your headband." Hitoshi commanded and Nenji did just that as Miriam accepts it.
"What? Nenji, what are you doing?" Kenji shocked.
"Thank you very much." Miriam bowed before her team ran off to hunt down another team to take their headbands.
"Huh, what just happened?" Nenji confused.
"Nice work, Hitoshi. I knew it was wise to pick you on my team." Miriam smiled.
"Well, my brainwashing Quirk can come in handy when I want it to be." Hitoshi said.
"Oh, being modest just makes you more reliable." Miriam chuckled which made Hitoshi blushed a little.
Hitoshi Shinso, his Quirk: Brainwashing. He can totally control others by just speaking to them even in a short sentence though it'll only work if that person responds to him.
"Wow, barely two minutes has passed since we started, and it's already a total free for all!" Present Mic amazed of how this game is going on.
"Yeah, it doesn't matter if you go after the ten-million-point headband because everyone else is a target for the others to raise up their own points." Makiko agreed.
With team Izuku, the leader heard a loud laughing and turns around seeing Mezo charging at him with his multi-arms forming some kind of shell on his back, but Izuku knew that laughing wasn't coming from him.
"This is too easy, it's not a fight. It's more like a massacre!" Minoru shouted.
"Shoji is here, and I just heard Mineta, but I don't see him." Izuku tried to find out if Mezo really is alone or not.
"Deku, that metal guy is coming at us again." Kimi alerted that Tetsutetsu's team is coming for them.
"Right, we need to get moving." Izuku ordered, but Ochaco can't seem to move her left foot for some reason.
"Ochaco, are you okay?" Izuku asked.
"I'm not sure, I think I'm stuck." Ochaco said as Izuku quickly recognize that sticky ball to be Minoru's.
"That's Mineta's ball, but where is he?" Izuku asked.
"I'm over here, Midoriya." Minoru revealed himself to be hiding in Mezo's shield on his back.
"What? Is that even allowed?" Izuku gasped.
"The Judges say yes!" Midnight answered Izuku's question.
Then suddenly a long tongue appeared out from the Mezo Shell going for Izuku's headband but he dodges it and Tetsutetsu dodges it too as the tongue extended close to him as well.
"Impressive move as always." Tsuyu complimented.
"No hard feelings, Izuku. But we planned to win this." Suzu said as she and Tsuyu are also on Mezo's back.
"Whoa, Asui and Suzu are in there too!" Izuku shocked.
"I told you to call me Tsuyu." Tsuyu reminded him as she latches her tongue out again while Minoru threw his sticky balls.
"Okay, now that's some creative thinking right now as team Mineta are taking full advantage of Shoji's unique physical Quirk as a shield while doing some attacking." Makiko impressed.
"Deku, we have to get away now." Kimi warned.
"I know, I know." Izuku pressed the button to activate the jetpack again, but in doing so forced the hover boot on Ochaco's left leg to break.
"NO! My baby is ruin!" Mei cried.
"I'm really sorry, Mei. But at least we managed to get away." Izuku said.
Right after he said that, Katsuki launched himself high into the air going after his nerdy rival and the ten-million-point headband.
"Kacchan!" Izuku shocked.
"Don't think for a second that you're safe." Katsuki stated as he closes the distance between himself and Izuku.
"I got you!" Katsuki threw his hand at him.
"Deku, lift me!" Kimi shouted.
"Got it!" Izuku reacted fast, challenging 5% One for All into his arms to lift Kimi up for her to use her Quirk to defend against Katsuki's explosion Quirk and reflect the damage back at him.
"What the fuck?!" Katsuki surprised.
"Bakugo has been separated from his horses! Is that even allowed?" Present Mic asked.
Katsuki is seen falling toward the ground and his teammates quickly move around making sure they know which spot he's going to land on, and they managed to catch him back into the rider sit.
"We got him." Eijiro cheered.
"Hey Midnight, is that okay?" Makiko asked.
"He never touched the ground, so technically, it's okay." Midnight answered with a thumb up.
"A little warning next time." Futayo said.
"Brace yourself for we're coming to get your points!" Nenji and Kenji proclaimed as they charge right at them.
"I don't think so." Futayo glared at them and swing her arm down, and slashing shockwave erupts sending Nenji and Kenji flying away.
"Damn, Futayo is really strong with her DragonFly Slice Quirk." Mina surprised.
Futayo Honda, her Quirk DragonFly Slice: She can slice anything in her path with just a wave of her hand like the flesh are made of steel and can attack at a long range too.
Team Izuku landed back on the ground and they kept running.
"Nicely done, Ochaco." Izuku said.
"Thanks, but it's hard to control where we're going with just one foot." Ochaco mentioned.
"(With that busted boot, our movement has become limited. We can't risk taking the sky again. That means to survive, we'll have to rely on Kimi's defense Quirk and our increased mobility by thanks to Ochaco's Zero Gravity.)" Izuku thought as this game is only gonna get harder from here.

Cavalry Battle are usually the fun kind of games people would enjoy playing like the chicken fight at a pool party, but this is no normal game when it comes to the Sports Festival as Izuku and his team are struggling to keep their headband from being taken while the other teams are trying to outdo each other.
