"Okie dokie is that everything?" I asked a customer as I handed them their designer dresses.
"That will be all, thank you very much." The customer said, tossing some bits on the counter and left the store.
I smiled and waved as the customer left before letting out a sigh, plopping my head on the counter. "I'm so dang exhausted." I moaned, leaning against the surface before turning my head towards the clock on the wall. Seeing that it was closer to lunch time.
"Maybe she's still awake?" I asked myself, digging into my pockets and pulling out cell phone. On the screen itself was a picture of us together. I admired the expression Nocte had on her face, she looked so happy, having a radiant smile.
I let out a soft sigh before putting the phone up and grabbing the broom in the corner and began sweeping the store. Collecting the dirt and muck ponies leave from the hooves all over the main lobby, and best have the store look nice before I close for lunch. It had been raining the night before so a few ponies forgot to wipe the mud off their hooves when they entered.
As I swept, I couldn't get my mind off of this morning. Those damn stallions had no right harassing Nocte the way they did. I never liked seeing her as upset as she was.
That's probably one of the reasons I preferred mares over stallions; males are too much of a brute, majority of them have no sense of compassion and just plain rude.
And the mare I'm mostly interested in at the moment happens to be my roommate.

After I swept the store, I turned towards the stairs that lead up to the sewing area, where my assistant Milky Way was. "I'll be back later, mind the shop."

And with that, I grabbed my purse and left.
I swung by the local diner to pick up Nocte's potato scallops and hay burger and then made my way down the street.

I was halted when she shot her hand out, grabbing me by the wrist and pulled me inside. "Nocte what's wrong?" I asked her when she closed the doors and turned to me. Her pupils were in slits and she had a look on her face that made my heart thump and feel a slickness between my legs.
