AN: It's another double update! I just uploaded chapters 6&7, don't miss one of them! These first chapters have been on the smaller side and since my last update was so long ago I decided to do a double update again!

Hope you enjoy!

Dear Logan,

29 weeks. We're almost there. The first two trimesters are gone. Therefore, I decided that I had to have a name now that we're in the third trimester. I never told you the names we had on the list. I kept going back and forth with having the first name be Lorelai, but I need it to be your name, in a way. I narrowed it down to a top 5 with my mother: Hannah, Hazel, Harper, Hattie, and Harlow. Some I didn't like the sound together with Lorelai, so I had to cut them. She had to be a Lorelai, even if only in middle name. And then one day when I was packing up some books from my mom's house, I had a light bulb moment: Harper. Not only Harper but Harper Lorelai Leigh. I was so happy for about 27 minutes until mom came home and I shared the news. She told me I was being even more egotistical than she was when she had me. Sharing one name with your parent, that's ok, sharing the whole name with one more in the mix, not so much. And she was right. It was too much. So, Harper Lorelai Gilmore it will be. If the drugs on the day of don't betray me. I think my mom will hold any and all pens hostage in the room after I give birth. Harper.

Dear Logan,

Today was my first Mother's Day as an (almost) mother. My mom made Luke cook us a huge brunch and then decided to take it on the road and actually eat it at the diner. After our first mother&mother brunch, my mom has declared this a tradition now, we went for a spa treatment at the Annex, we had a couple of massages and facials and my mom enjoyed the mimosas while I was stuck with cucumber water. My grandmother sent me flowers, it was so sweet of her! We finished the day with a Gilmore movie marathon. For a first Mother's Day, it was a good start. I don't know how we'll be able to do this next year with a baby, but let's see. Because I was discussing next year's Mother's Day with my mom, I realized that I'll actually be a mom for every holiday from now on. It dawned on me how close I am to be a mom and meet our baby. I can't wait to meet her. See who she looks like, what her personality will be. I've been reorganizing her bookshelf almost daily now. I've also been ordering her new books almost weekly, so there is always some tidying up to do. I've also started reading to her every night. Sometimes a read a children's book, other times I'll just read a chapter of whatever book I'm reading. I think she loves it already.

Dear Logan,

Our little tadpole, baby Gerber, Harper Lorelai Gilmore, decided to come into the world a tad bit early. At 36 weeks 3 days. 6.2 pounds, 18.3 inches of baby Harper. She's the most beautiful baby I've ever seen, Logan. We did good. The doctors say she is fine, and we won't need to stay longer at the hospital. I'm so glad we don't have to stay here. I want to go home with Harper and start our life together. I love you, Logan. We love you. Always.
