Flashback

From the basement, a man with long blond hair woke up, he removed his blanket away from his body. Stretching his feet as he walk outside of his room, to find a toilet when he hears someone running upstairs.

"... Rin!"

"Kagome?"

'Why is she still awake? Who's Rin?'

Forgetting in finding a toilet, Eld walked silently upstairs. Following the footsteps, he reached the 3rd floor and peered at the open door. Shock filled his body, he saw Kagome crying while a ghost stood in front of her. His body cannot move, staying hidden behind the door, listening to their conversation, he waited for her sobbed to quiet down. Once again, peeking inside to check on her, he saw her fall asleep and immediately went towards his room.

'What was that?'

Trembling, he covers himself with his blanket and closes his eyes.

4:00 in the morning came, he still couldn't sleep the whole night, thinking about what he saw. Going upstairs, he checks on Kagome, still sleeping on the floor but a blanket was placed on her body.

He left her there and went with his morning routine.

'I'll confront Kagome about this'

Unaware of the person, leaning on the corner of the wall while Eld continues going downstairs.

'I never thought that she was different from us'

Sighing, Eld released her and reassured her that he kept her identity as a secret, unless, it was revealed he cannot do anything about it.

"Thank you, Eld!"

Kagome smiled at him once more, when he noticed a pair of eyes looking at them. Turning to that person, he saw his Captain frowning at them.

"Captain Levi!"

Kagome also turned to her superior, he was still looking at them, intensely, with his narrowed black grey eyes.

"Sir!"

Kagome and Eld salute to him. Still, Levi was looking at them.

"I came here to notify you both that we are going back to the Wall already. However, I see that you guys were still taking your time. Also, Eld I have something to say to you, Higurashi you are dismissed"

"Sir, Yes sir!"

After being dismissed, Kagome went inside the Keep. She prepared her things and secured Tenseiga in her bag before placing them in her saddle. Turning around, she saw that both Eld and Levi went to their respective horses. Then, all of them rode their horses towards the Wall.

Encountering a lot of Titans, they did not remain unscathed as their second-in-command got injured, when he saved Petra from the Titan's grasp, yet still alive. Nearing the forest, they went to rest. Gunther and Olou secure the parameter before making a camp. Then, Levi talks to Petra about what happened earlier.

"Eld, can you come with me for a moment?"

Nodding at her, they went to a hidden place, yet, still near from their campsite.

"I'm going to do something on your wound, but please trust me"

Looking at her in confusion, he saw her extend both her hands to remove his bloodied bandage wound on his right arm, then something unexpected happened. Stifling his gasp, he saw her hands release a white light, while he felt his pain subsided and saw his skin knitting back, slowly healing.

"How... Wa-what did you do?"

"As a priestess, I have the power to heal wounds or conditions aside from purifying evil things. However, I cannot bring back any limbs being amputated. You see after 4 years and 5 months of being sent into this world and being rescued by Commander Erwin, I was blind. However, I train and train, secretly in my room to achieve my full potential and thus, here I am, being able to heal my blindness and join the survey corps. Oh and it's best that you put back the bandage so that no one will get suspicious about your wound."

"But you can help the humanity survive with your power, you can help lessen the mortality rate in this corporation"

Arguing with her, he thinks that this is an opportunity for them. However, he saw her shake her head as she passed by.

"It is not yet time, come on let's go back to the camp"

Earlier after Kagome and Eld went away from their camp.

"Hey, do you think something is going on between those two?"

Oluo voiced out after they saw them disappear into the woods. Petra sighed at him and shook her head. While, Gunther chuckles at him.

"Trust me, there is nothing going on between those two. I think that Kagome just wants to help him with his wounds or talk about something. Besides, Kagome has someone she likes."

Petra smiled and looked at her Captain sitting on one of its roots, as he placed his ODM gear beside him.

"What about you, Captain?"

Olou continues to ask, while Gunther places his left hand on his shoulder to stop him.

"I think it's none of our business already, Olou. Oh, here they are''

Gunther signaled to others as they saw both of them emerge from the woods, Eld wearing an exasperated expression while Kagome wore an exhausted look.

"Hey hey! What happened to both of you?"

"Nothing"

Kagome answered as Eld stayed quiet. Olou not picking up on the vibe, ask if they broke up with another. Flustered, both faces went red.

"What the hell are you talking about? He's like my brother!"

Laughing at them, the red on their faces deepen until their neck. After hearing that, Levi turns to the scenario in front of him and smiles, not noticing him.
